YÖK Tez No: 578342 Bu tez kapsamında, çeşitli sinyal işleme yöntemleri kullanılarak, bireyler üzerinde meydana gelen duygu durum değişimlerinin kestirimi ve duygu durumlarının birbirleriyle oluşturduğu bağlantısallık incelenmiştir. Son zamanlarda yoğun olarak incelenen bu alanda yapılan çalışmalar beyin bilgisayar ara yüzü çalışmaları için önem taşımaktadır. İlk aşamada, tezin özgünlüğüne katkıda bulunan görsel uyaranlar, güncel bir kaynak olan Nencki Duygusal Resim Sistemi (NAPS) veri setinden edinilmiş olup deney düzeneğinin tez kapsamı için oluşturulması ve EEG sinyallerinin kayıt edilmesi sağlanmıştır. Çalışmanın devamında, elde edilen EEG verilerine çeşitli sinyal işleme ve analiz yöntemleri uygulanarak duygunun tespitinin yapılabilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın ilerleyen aşamalarında, EEG veri setine güç yoğunluk spektrumu (GYS) ve Welch periyodogram yöntemleri uygulanmış ve istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır. Güç spektrumlarından elde edilen sayısal öznitelikler hesaplanarak üç ana görsel uyaran türü için tekrarlı ölçümler Anova istatistiksel analizi yapılmıştır. Diğer bir çalışmada ortak uzamsal örüntüleme (OUÖ) yöntemi ile görsel uyaran türlerinin birbirleri ile aralarındaki uzamsal ilinti incelenmiş, EEG alt frekans bantlarındaki bağlantısallık üzerinde analizler yapılmıştır. EEG kanalları için indirgenme uygulanarak istatistiksel olarak bağlılıkları incelenmiştir. Tez kapsamında ayrıca görgül kip ayrışımı (GKA) yöntemi EEG sinyallerinden duygu durum kestirimi için kullanılmıştır. Deney sistemi ile kayıt edilen çok kanallı EEG sinyalleri, çok değişkenli görgül kip ayrışımı (ÇDGKA) yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. ÇDGKA ile elde edilen özgül kip işlevi (ÖKİ) her görsel uyaran türüne göre her birey için aynı sayıda belirlenmiş olup ÖKİ kullanılarak öznitelikler hesaplanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, EEG veri setinden elde edilen öznitelikler ile negatif, nötr ve pozitif uyaranlar arasındaki bağlantılar istatistiksel, çeşitli sınıflandırıcılar ve topografik haritalama ile analiz edilerek EEG sinyallerinden duygu durum kestirimi için başarım oranları elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında yapılan incelemelerin, beyin bilgisayar ara yüzü ve duygu durum kestirimi ile ilgili gelecek çalışmalara önemli bir altyapı oluşturması hedeflenmiştir. This thesis focuses on different types of signal processing methods, which characterizes the correlation between the emotional changes discrimination and emotional stimulation in healthy participants. In recent times, most of the studies commonly concentrated on the brain computer interface (BCI). For this purpose, first, a novel emotional EEG-based database was created by using Nencki Affective Picture System (ing. NAPS) for the scope of the thesis. Then, a number of signal processing, statistical analysis, topographical analysis and classification methods are investigated. In the following stages of thesis, power spectrum density and welch periodograms were applied to emotional EEG-based data and statistical analyses were performed. Repeated Measure Anova (RMA) analyzed the three types of emotional stimulation (negative, neutral, positive) to describe the emotional elicitation. Afterwards, common spatial pattern (CSP) was analyzed for the emotion connectivity between emotional stimuli types and spatial patterns of the sub frequency bands of the EEG data. Additionally, the EEG channels were reduced for the rapid experiment on the diagnosis of the BCI systems for a number of experiments in the thesis. Another study within the scope of the thesis represents the different aspects of analyzing emotional stimuli and Multivariate Mode Decomposition (MEMD) algorithm. The IMFs are extracted by MEMD-based feature extraction method and recommended to process emotional based EEG signals for emotional state detection. The extracted features are used for the different classifiers and topographical analysis of emotions. We hope that the studies in this thesis performed on emotional connectivity analyses based BCI systems will be valuable resources for the researchers working in this frontier.

Kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik; işletmelerin bugünkü ve gelecekteki olası paydaşlarının ihtiyaçlarını karşılama süreçlerinde sosyal, çevresel ve ekonomik olarak varlıklarının devamlılığını sağlamalarını ve bu vizyonun işletmelere yükleyeceği sorumlulukların yerine getirilmesini kapsamaktadır.Bu çalışmada işletmelerin Borsa İstanbul Sürdürülebilirlik Endeksi'nde yer alıp almamaları kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik performanslarının göstergesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu kapsamda çalışmada 2014-2018 yılları arasında Borsa İstanbul'da aralıksız faaliyet gösteren, mali kuruluşların haricindeki 63 işletmenin kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik performanslarının sahiplik yapısı, kurumsal yönetim yapısı ve firma karakteristiklerinden nasıl etkilendiği araştırılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın veri setine en uygun yöntem olan panel veri analizi yöntemlerinden logit-probit yöntem tercih edilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen analizler sonucunda işletmelerin yönetim kurulunda yer alan bağımsız üye oranı, yabancı sahiplik oranı, kurumsal sahiplik oranı ve yönetim kurulu büyüklüğü ile kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik performansları arasında pozitif ve anlamlı ilişkiler elde edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan sürdürülebilirlik performansını etkileyeceği öngörülen aile sahipliği, halka açıklık oranı, CEO ikiliği ve yönetim kurulunda bulunan kadın üye oranı ile kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik performansı arasında anlamlı bir ilişkiye rastlanmamıştır. Çalışmada ek olarak literatür ile uyumlu olan firma büyüklüğü, kaldıraç, firma yaşı, sektör ve kurumsal yönetim endeksi gibi kontrol değişkenleri kullanılmış ve test edilen modellere eklenmiştir. Kontrol değişkenlerinin modellere eklenmesi elde edilen sonuçları değiştirmemiştir. Corporate sustainability, which is considered to be the concept of sustainability in enterprises, covers the sustainability of the existence of social, environmental and economic assets in the process of meeting the needs of the current and future stakeholders, and the fulfillment of the responsibilities that this vision will impose on the enterprises.In this study, whether businesses are included in the Borsa Istanbul Sustainability Index is determined as an indicator of their corporate sustainability performance. In this context, it was aimed to investigate how the sustainability performances of 63 nonfinancial institutions operating in Borsa Istanbul between 2014-2018 were affected by their ownership structure, corporate governance structure and company characteristics. In this respect, the panel logit - probit model, which is the most suitable method for the data set of the study, was preferred. As a result of the analyzes performed, positive and significant relationships were found between the ratio of independent board members, foreign ownership, corporate ownership and board size and corporate sustainability performances. On the other hand, no significant relationship was found between family ownership, public ownership, CEO duality and the ratio of female board members and corporate governance performance, which are expected to affect sustainability performance. In addition, control variables such as firm size, leverage, firm age, sector and corporate governance index, which are compatible with the literature, were used and added to the tested models. Adding the control variables to the models did not change the results. 114

Chronic kidney disease may be detected withseveral classification techniques, and these have been classified using variousfeatures and classifier combinations. Considering the classification performanceanalyses of these methods, six reduced features provide a better and more rapidclassification performance.
