Background/Objectives: Numerous studies have examined nursing students' academic dishonesty; however, there is still a gap in understanding the predictors of such behavior. This study aimed to identify personal (intrapersonal and interpersonal) and contextual factors predicting nursing students' dishonesty during clinical training. Methods: A two-phase, prospective, predictive study was conducted at a nursing faculty in Croatia. The validated "Mentor Support Evaluation Questionnaire" was used in the first phase to assess students' evaluations of the quality of mentor support during clinical training. The validated instruments "Optimism/Pessimism Scale" and "Nursing Student Perceptions of Dishonesty Scale" were used in the second phase to examine self-reported dishonesty and its contributing factors. The second phase also investigated the students' knowledge of the university's ethical and disciplinary regulations. Results: Of 398 participants, 195 (48.9%) reported engaging in clinical dishonesty. Hierarchical regression analysis identified critical predictors of frequent clinical dishonesty: lack of fear of consequences (β = −0.072), positive attitudes toward dishonesty (β= −0.081), higher incidence of academic dishonesty in the classroom (β = 0.221), lack of knowledge of the university's regulations (β = −0.349), and low quality of mentor support (β = −0.430). The final model explained 60.7% of the variance in participants' clinical dishonesty (p < 0.001). Conclusions: The identified predictors indicate that interpersonal factors, i.e., the quality of mentor support, influence students' clinical dishonesty more than intrapersonal factors (e.g., attitudes or knowledge). Contextual factors (healthcare employment and study overload) were unrelated to clinical dishonesty. This finding can help develop strategies to reduce nursing students' dishonesty and improve patient safety. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Persons with ID most often have incomplete, contradictory and imprecise knowledge of sexuality and sexual intercourse itself. They are not provided with sufficient information on their own body and sexuality, and are often discouraged from and sanctioned for trying to sexually express themselves. Sexual abuse due to low sexual assertiveness is also common.

The introduction of antiretroviral therapy (ART) has successfully changed the clinical course of people with HIV, leading to a significant decline in the incidence of HIV-related neurocognitive disorders. Integrase strand transferase inhibitors (INSTI) are recommended and preferred first-line ART for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in ART-naïve subjects. This type of therapy regimen is expected to have higher CNS penetration, which may bring more cognitive stability or even make significant cognitive improvement in people with HIV. The study aimed to follow up on neurocognitive performance in HIV subjects on two types of INSTI therapy regimens at two-time points, one year apart. The study sample consisted of 61 ART naïve male participants, of which 32 were prescribed raltegravir (RAL) and 29 dolutegravir (DTG). There was no significant difference between subsamples according to the main sociodemographic (age, education level) and clinical characteristics (duration of therapy, nadir CD4 cells level, CD4 cells count, CD8 cells, CD4/CD8 ratio). For neurocognitive assessment, six measures were used: general cognitive ability (MoCA test), verbal fluency (total sum score for phonemic and category fluency), verbal working memory (digit span forward), cognitive capacity (digit span backwards), sustained attention (Color Trail Test 1), and divided attention (Color Trail Test 2). In both therapy groups (RAL and DTG), there was no significant decrease in neurocognitive achievement on all used measures over a one-year follow-up in both therapy groups. A statistically significant interactive effect of time and type of therapy was found on the measure of divided attention—DTG group showed slight improvement, whereas RAL group showed slight decrease in performance. During the one-year follow-up of persons on INSTI-based regimen, no significant changes in cognitive achievement were recorded, which suggests that the existing therapy can have a potentially positive effect on the maintenance of neurocognitive achievement. Background: With the development of the society and social care, scientific and technical progress, the attitude towards the people with disabilities has changed. According to the Quebec classification of disability it represents a process created together with risk factors, children's personality, life habits and environmental factors that match child's age, gender and socio-cultural identity. The attitude represents a tendency to react positively or negatively towards certain objects, features or situations. Attitude, as a model of behavior not firmly and definitely determined, can be formed, but also changed, mainly based on experience and interpersonal relationship as well as ones knowledge and feelings. Aim: The main goal of this research is to determine the adolescents' attitude towards peers with disabilities. Method: The research was conducted on 132 high school students, out of which there were 64 students in one group and a peer with a form of disability among them. The other group had 68 students, where none of them had a disability. For the needs of this research, a questionnaire has been created in order to determine the attitudes of students towards disabilities. The questionnaire consists of 20 questions where the participant can circle only one of the following options: yes, no or I do not know. The questions can be divided into 3 components - the first one regarding the cognitive component of the attitude, the second one regarding the emotional component and the third one regarding the behavioral component. Results: Belonging to a certain group determines formatting and expressing one's opinion. Both groups of participants gave the same answers in terms that both groups believed that they were insufficiently informed about the people with disabilities. Those questions tackled the knowledge of different types of disabilities, source of information, and care for the disabled. Further results indicate that contact with the people with disabilities determines the development of a positive attitude towards them. The biggest social distance has been expressed during the analysis of emotional components of attitude, included in the questions regarding interpersonal relationship. It seems that spending time and having experience with the disabled does not significantly affect the preparation of adolescents in creating close emotional contact. Conclusion: We emphasize that there is still heavy prejudice which makes the full integration and socialization of the people with disabilities harder. It is commonly accepted that all people learn and that their full inclusion represents the ultimate goal. However, this requires a change in the attitude of the wider social community. The final goal is determined not just by one's capabilities but also by the possibility for all other relevant factors to conform to the needs of an individual. So, going from the main idea of inclusion, that all individuals are different, the society should change and adjust so that they could meet the needs of all individuals.

GAY couples , *INTERDEPENDENCE theory , *SOCIAL exchange , *LESBIAN couples , *SAME-sex relationships , *LESBIANS , *SEXUAL partners - Abstract
The present study evaluated the assumptions of Interdependence Theory and the Theory of Social Exchange on the role of love exchange in relationship satisfaction in same-sex couples. We used an actor-partner interdependence model to examine four different effects on relationship satisfaction: (1.) Personal expression of love – actor effect; (2.) Personal expression of love – partner effect; (3.) Partner's expression of love – actor effect; and (4.) Partner's expression of love – partner effect. The sample included a total of 50 gay and 50 lesbian couples from Serbia (Mage = 26.65, SD = 7.66). The results yielded that significant predictors of relationship satisfaction are how a person expresses love, how he/she perceived partner's expression of love, and how their partner perceived how he/she expresses love. We also found that the partner's personal expression of love was not a significant predictor of relationship satisfaction. The same predictors are significant for both gay and lesbian couples. This study indicates that a complex dyadic approach is needed when examining the role of the love expression in relationship satisfaction among same-sex couples. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The main aim of this paper is to identify factors that could determine social participation of pupils with cerebral palsy in elementary schools in the Republic of Serbia. Social participation is within this paper viewed from the perspective of independent execution of non-academic school activities that the pupils with cerebral palsy perform daily in the school environment, which they need in order to be able to fulfil the academic tasks. The study included 75 pupils with cerebral palsy, 6 to 12 years old, who attended mainstream elementary schools and schools for students with special educational needs from the first to the sixth grade. In order to assess their participation in the school environment, the third part of the SFA (The School Function Assessment) questionnaire were used. The extent of impairment of pupils’ gross motor and manual ability was assessed by the GMFCS (Gross Motors Classification System) and MACS (Manual Ability Classification System) scales. As independent variables, we have determined 9 individual factors that relate to the characteristics of pupils with cerebral palsy, and 1 environmental factor that relates to the type of school the students attend. The results indicate the importance of motor skills and intellectual and writing abilities of pupils with cerebral palsy as significant predictors of social participation in school environment in the Republic of Serbia.

CHILDREN with autism spectrum disorders , *SIBLINGS , *AUTISTIC children , *AUTISM spectrum disorders - Abstract
Introduction. Challenges in the development of a child with autism spectrum disorder require adjustment of the entire family, parents and siblings. So far, the researchers’ efforts have mostly been focused on children with autism spectrum disorder or their parents, and less frequently on the siblings living in a family with a child with autism spectrum disorder. The goal of this research was to identify problems in the functioning of siblings of persons with autism spectrum disorder and the relationships of these problems with various sociodemographic and family characteristics. Mate- rial and Methods. The research was conducted as a cross-section- al study which included thirty children aged 4 to 18 years with a sibling with autism spectrum disorder. The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire was used to assess the functioning of siblings of children with autism, while family characteristics were collected through a sociodemographic questionnaire created for research purposes. Statistical package for the social sciences 20.0 software was used for data entry and processing. Results. There are no significant differences in the functioning of siblings of children with autism spectrum disorder in relation to their gender, age, family status and the level of functionality of a child with autism spectrum disorder. In most cases, there is a low risk of clinically significant problems (63.3%), in 10% of cases the risk is medium, and in 26.7% of cases it is high. Conclusion. Problems in the functioning of siblings of children with autism spectrum disorder do not depend on sociodemographic or family characteristics. Models of support, based on the research findings along with community education, strengthen the siblings through their experience of growing up with a sibling with autism spectrum disorder. SELF-efficacy in students , *MEDICAL students , *SELF-efficacy , *GRADE point average , *ACADEMIC degrees , *LECTURE method in teaching - Abstract
Introduction. English for Specific Purposes focuses on teaching and learning subject specific knowledge which includes specific language skills that particular learners need for a specific purpose. Self-efficacy is determined by subjective beliefs about one’s own abilities, which also applies to the academic setting of studying English for Specific Purposes. Academic self-efficacy represents the conviction of students about their own abilities to successfully fulfil academic tasks at designated levels. The goal of this research is to examine the degree of academic self-efficacy of medical students who learn English for Specific purposes at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Novi Sad, with respect to their gender, year of study, grade achieved in the previous course in English, and the length of learning English before enrolling in the Faculty. Material and Methods. The study included 58 medical students. The researchers used the College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale questionnaire developed by Owen and Froman (1988) to assess academic self-efficacy. Results. Three significant factors were identified: general self-competence, communication with the professor, and attendance at lectures, with general self-competence being the most significant factor. Considering the independent variables, only the grade showed statistical significance. Establishing the grade as such a significant predictor can be explained by the fact that good grades and a high grade point average are presented as very desirable outcomes. However, a good grade does not necessarily mean having better knowledge or correct use of language. Conclusion. Further research into this topic is necessary, with expanding the number of participants, study programs and variables. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

social participation ,Cerebral palsy ,school function assessment ,Czech Republic - Abstract
Cerebral palsy is primarily reflected in the disorder of the development of movement and posture, which may be accompanied by sensory disturbances, disturbances of perception, cognition and communication, behavioural disorders and epilepsy. According to current inclusive attitudes towards people with disabilities implies that full social participation of children with cerebral palsy means inclusion in all activities in family, peer, school and leisure environments in the same scope and to the same extent as is the case with the children of proper development and without physical difficulties. Due to the fact that it has been established that the quality of children's participation in primary school is directly related to their social inclusion in future life, the aim of the paper is to identify predictors of social participation, respectively, and in particular, factors that could to improve the quality of social participation of children with cerebral palsy, in the primary school environment in Czech Republic. The study includes children with cerebral palsy (n = 75) in the Czech Republic, aged between six and 12 years who attend mainstream or special primary schools to the sixth grade. The main instrument used was the first and third part of the School function assessment questionnaire. It will also take into account the type of damage assessed according to a scale the Gross motor function classification system, five–level classification system for cerebral palsy. The research results will provide detailed insight into the degree of social participation of children with cerebral palsy and the factors that would be a potential cause of their levels of participation, in regular and special primary schools, in different socioeconomic environments in Czech Republic., {"references":["Rapaić, D., & Nedović, G. Introduction. Type of housing is of great importance for the overall quality of life and general psychosocial well-being of persons with intellectual disabilities, as evidenced by the results of numerous studies showing that people with intellectual disabilities living in institutions have a lower level of life satisfaction compared to those living in the open community. Material and Methods. In order to determine the levels of experienced stress related to the type of housing in people with intellectual disabilities, we carried out a study including 122 persons with intellectual disabilities living in different types of housing; in institutions (n = 51), with families (n = 38), and in the supported housing program (n = 33). The Life Stress Inventory was used for the purpose of this research. Results. The results showed that people who were included in the supported housing program experienced the least stress, compared to the subjects who lived with their families or in institutions (p < 0.001). Stress was the least prevalent in the supported housing program, but the other two groups had similar results. The presence of stress did not differ significantly between subjects living with their families and those living in institutions. Conclusion. We can conclude that subjects living in supported housing experienced significantly less stress compared to the other two groups. Different types of housing were associated with different levels of stress. Overall, negative interpersonal relationship was identified as the stress factor that correlated most significantly with other stress factors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

SOCIAL participation , *PATIENT participation , *ACTIVE aging , *OLDER people , *DEMOGRAPHIC characteristics - Abstract
Introduction. Social participation is a critically important aspect of life in older adults. Also, it is one of the major subjects of research in the field of aging. Old age and its implications can have both positive and negative effects on social participation in the elderly population. Older oncology patients also face additional challenges in achieving active aging and full social participation. The goal of this study was to establish the prevalence and variety of social participation of oncology patients over the age of 60, as well as to determine any possible correlation between specific demographic characteristics and social participation. Material and Methods. The study included 100 persons aged 60 to 92 treated for malignant diseases. The Maastricht social participation profile and a demographic questionnaire designed for the purpose of this study were used as research instruments. Data analysis included the t-test for independent samples, correlation analysis, linear regression analysis, and one way analysis of variance. Results. Persons over the age of sixty have a low level of social participation, particularly in the domains of contacts with friends and family. A statistically significant difference was found in social participation in regard to different demographic characteristics: type of residence (t = 6.765, p < .01) and disability (t = 5.663, p < .01), and age (R = 0.478, p < .01). There were no statistically significant differences in regard to gender, education and presence/ absence of chronic disease. Conclusion. Oncology patients over the age of 60 have a very low social participation. Considering its importance for health and quality of life in the elderly, it is crucial to develop a support system for these persons and to recognize the significance of including social support in the care of this population. karakteristike relacije ,seksualna orijentacija ,individualne rezlike ,ljubav ,zadovoljstvo partnerskom relacijom - Abstract
Ne postoji značajna razlika u proceni kvaliteta seksualne interakcije i frekvenciji ličnih načina pokazivanja ljubavi partneru među muškim i ženskim ispitanicima homoseksualne i heteroseksualne populacije.

- Abstract
Introduction. Regular follow-up and support of people with multiple sclerosis in finding and keeping employment may enable them to stay employed longer and have better quality of work life, financial security, and a higher degree of social participation. The objective of this study was to determine the work status and factors that may affect work engagement of people with multiple sclerosis. Material and Methods. The study was conducted in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and included 108 subjects with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, aged 18 - 65 years, using the expanded disability status scale, 0 - 5.5. The data were collected using a General questionnaire and the multiple sclerosis work difficulties questionnaire. Results. Out of 108 subjects, only 37 were employed or had been retired for less than three years, which were the criteria for filling out the multiple sclerosis work difficulties questionnaire (in Serbian). Our results showed that subjects perceived cognitive difficulties and movement/mobility difficulties as the main factors affecting their work performance. Conclusion. The analysis of environmental factors and factors affecting work engagement of people with multiple sclerosis showed that other factors affected their work more than their personal preferences or the disease itself., Uvod. Materijal i metode. Podaci su prikupljeni Opštim upitnikom i The Multiple Sclerosis Work Difficulties Questionnaire - MSWDQ koji je preveden i prilagođen za potrebe srpskog govorno-jezičkog područja. Rezultati.

Further results indicate that contact with the people with disabilities dete, Razvojem društva, socijalnog staranja, napretkom nauke i tehnike, menjaju se i stavovi i odnos prema osobama s invaliditetom.

Introduction. Voice disorders in primary school teachers, as vocal professionals, are very common and often an inevitable phenomenon, which is unfortunately given little importance. Primary school teachers are at greater risk compared to other educators, because they rarely have opportunities for vocal rest during their working hours. The aim of this paper was to determine the acoustic voice characteristics of primary school teachers and their subjective experience of voice quality. Material and Methods. The study included 30 female teachers employed at the elementary school “Branko Radičević” in Banja Luka. For the purpose of objective acoustic analysis, the computer program Praat was used; for the purposes of subjective acoustic analysis the Grade, Instability, Roughness, Breathiness, Asthenia, and Strain scale was used, whereas the Voice Handicap Index was used for voice self-assessment. The effects of work experience, number of classes per week, bad habits and chronic diseases on voice quality were analyzed. Results. Statistically significant differences were found only in subjects who reported bad habits in the domain of subjective acoustic analysis, where pathological values were obtained for subscales grade, instability, roughness, breathiness and strain (p < 0.05), whereas the second statistically significant difference was observed in participants without previous history of chronic diseases, and who had significantly better speech intensity and lower harmonicsto-noise ratio (p < 0.05). Conclusion. In our research, objective and subjective acoustic analysis showed that about half of primary school teachers have voice disorders. Unhealthy habits and chronic diseases have a greater impact on the quality of voice of the primary school teachers than the length of work experience and the number of classes per week.
