Endoscopy is vital for detecting and diagnosing gastrointestinal diseases. Systematic examination protocols are key to enhancing detection, particularly for the early identification of premalignant conditions. Publicly available endoscopy image databases are crucial for machine learning research, yet challenges persist, particularly in identifying upper gastrointestinal anatomical landmarks to ensure effective and precise endoscopic procedures. However, many existing datasets have inconsistent labeling and limited accessibility, leading to biased models and reduced generalizability. This paper introduces GastroHUN, an open dataset documenting stomach screening procedures based on a systematic protocol. GastroHUN includes 8,834 images from 387 patients and 4,729 labeled video sequences, all annotated by four experts. The dataset covers 22 anatomical landmarks in the stomach and includes an additional category for unqualified images, making it a valuable resource for AI model development. By providing a robust public dataset and baseline deep learning models for image and sequence classification, GastroHUN serves as a benchmark for future research and aids in the development of more effective algorithms. Major sport events have important effects on fans' well-being. Chile won its very first international football contest - the Copa América tournament - in July 2015, playing against Argentina. Thus, we explored the impact of the Chilean victory on Chileans' subjective well-being (SWB), using a natural intervention setting. We extended the previous literature in three ways. First, we used more comprehensive measures than previous research. We collected measures of global SWB, evaluated SWB and experienced SWB. We also measured national identification with the Chilean team. Second, previous research has been conducted only in the Western world, whereas we studied a South American context. Third, and finally, we followed the same participants before and after the final. Most longitudinal research in the field has used cohort designs, but no panel data. The results showed that (1) a victory in a major sport event, which generates so much expectation from fans, induces high emotional activation effects and changes the levels of experienced SWB. However, our results show that it is also necessary (2) to analyze separately the cognitive and emotional SWB components, and (3) to assess different time frames after the match. For example, whereas evaluated SWB showed stable patterns of increase from pre- to post- game, global SWB and experienced SWB showed different results depending on the proximity with the final of the tournament. Similar results were found regarding the effects of national identification on SWB. Introduction: First responders in emergencies are exposed to psychosocial factors that can increase the risk of stress, due, among other variables, to the conditions of the functions performed, which can undermine the health status of this population. Objective: Determine the symptoms that reveal the presence of stress reactions in first responders to emergencies and their association with age and seniority in the institution. Method: A cross-sectional study was carried out that included first responders to emergencies from a fire department in Colombia, 215 participants. An association was made between the level of stress and the variables age and seniority. Results: A high and very high stress level of 50.3% was found. Physiological and social behavior symptoms presented the highest levels. Older workers had greater stress. There was no association with length of service. Conclusion: More than half of the population has high and very high stress levels. The oldest emergency first responders were those with the highest risk levels of stress. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to deepen our understanding of the dynamics of prosociality in organizations by examining how organizational citizenship behaviour relates to perceived prosocial impact. First, we propose that a sense of prosocial impact is a rewarding experience that could motivate employees to engage in more prosocial behaviour over time, thus predicting increased OCB. Second, organizational citizenship behaviour can be directed towards other individuals (OCBI) or towards the organization (OCBO), with partly different antecedents and consequences. We propose that engaging in OCBI is prone to increase perceived prosocial impact as there the helping is aimed at concrete individuals, while engaging in OCBO, in being more indirectly prosocial, is either a weaker or non-existent predictor of future perceived prosocial impact. Using longitudinal data collected in three waves (N1 = 631, N2 = 240, and N3 = 148), we found that OCBI (but no OCBO), prospectively predicts perceptions of prosocial impact. Additionally, we find evidence for perceptions of prosocial impact prospectively predicting both subsequent OCBI and subsequent OCBO. As such, our research shows a virtuous cycle of prosociality between individually focused prosocial behaviours at work and perceived prosocial impact at work, which has theoretical and practical implications for both employee well-being and motivation as well as the performance of organizations. The educational problems in the area, economic disparities, conflict situations, and deficiencies in educational infrastructure directly affect the quality and accessibility of education. Therefore, the present research aims to generate comfort for users of the educational center by applying sustainable design strategies in Carabayllo, Peru. The study started with a literature review, an analysis of flora and fauna, passive design strategies, and climatic analysis applying sustainability strategies supported by digital tools (AutoCAD, Revit Collaborate, Climate Consultant, OpenStreetMap, JOSM, Rhinoceros, and Grasshopper). As a result, the design proposes an educational center that ensures year-round comfort through energy efficiency, the use of eco-friendly materials, and green roofs. Additionally, it includes the implementation of dry toilets, biofilters, and xerophytic vegetation for orchards, promoting food production and enhancing the treatment of nearby public spaces. In conclusion, this proposal enhances the quality of life for users by applying passive design strategies and sustainability principles, adopting clean energy sources, and efficiently managing waste, thereby contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
