This article presents a machine's design, manufacturing, and control processes for packaging creampuffs into boxes. The system includes a creampuff-dropping module operated by pneumatic cylinders, a horizontal box transposition module controlled by the IAI ROBO Cylinder, and multiple conveyors for handling boxes and creampuffs. The Mitsubishi FX3G PLC acts as the main control unit, enabling efficient system operation and managing its sequential processes. A timer device is integrated to display the duration required to pack a set of three boxes. The system's integration enables accurate creampuff placement within the boxes. The goal of this paper is to show the existence (using probabilistic tools) of configurations of lines, boxes, and points with certain interesting combinatorial properties. (i) First, we construct a family of n$$ n $$ lines in ℝ3$$ {\mathbb{R}}^3 $$ whose intersection graph is triangle‐free of chromatic number Ω(n1/15)$$ \Omega \left({n}^{1/15}\right) $$. This improves the previously best known bound Ω(loglogn)$$ \Omega \left(\mathrm{loglog}n\right) $$ by Norin, and is also the first construction of a triangle‐free intersection graph of simple geometric objects with polynomial chromatic number. (ii) Second, we construct a set of n$$ n $$ points in ℝd$$ {\mathbb{R}}^d $$, whose Delaunay graph with respect to axis‐parallel boxes has independence number at most n·(logn)−(d−1)/2+o(1)$$ n\cdotp {\left(\log n\right)}^{-\left(d-1\right)/2+o(1)} $$. Despite the extensive literature on what questionable research practices (QRPs) are and how to measure them, the normative underpinnings of such practices have remained less explored. QRPs often fall into a grey area of justifiable and unjustifiable practices. Where to precisely draw the line between such practices challenges individual scholars and this harms science. We investigate QRPs from a normative perspective using the theory of communicative action. We highlight the role of the collective in assessing individual behaviours. Our contribution is a framework that allows identification of when particular actions cross over from acceptable to unacceptable practice. Wooden packaging boxes and pallets are used in a wide range of applications. In this work, LVL from the same source and batch were used as the base material. After dynamic detection and grading, they were divided into two grades (A and B), according to their differences in elastic modulus. The packaging boxes and pallets of the same specifications were designed and manufactured as the research objects. Four mechanical properties studies and related analyses were performed. The three mechanical tests showed different deflection values of the two packaging boxes A and B, and the maximum error was 6.93%. In the rotational edge drop test, the edges of the nether end rails of the two grades of LVL boxes were damaged to varying degrees. Additionally, the nails at the connection between the middle longitudinal beam and the bottom plate also appeared to be pulled out, and the parts made of B-grade LVL were more obvious. The results show that the dynamic detection and quality grading for LVL can effectively distinguish the material grade. The grading results were consistent with the mechanical properties of the LVL packaging boxes and pallets of corresponding grades, which are suitable for use in production lines.

Knight tour is a mathematical problem that was first solved by Leonhard Euler (1707-1785). The problem consists in finding if it is possible that the knight piece of chess can tour through all the boxes of a chess grid, passing only once through each box. Bishop piece can only move to diagonal boxes of one color, and pawns can only move in one column. It can be easily seen that king, queen and rook can move through all the boxes. But it was not clear that the knight could move all through. Euler found several solutions for the 8x8 grid, and he numbered all the boxes of the grid in the order through which the knight passed. Surprisingly, he obtained some solutions with semi-magic squares, in which the sum of all the numbers of each row and column was the same. Nevertheless, diagonals didn't sum the same, as happens in the magic squares. One of the typical games in word game's books is the knight tour, with a 5x5 grid, that hides a 25-syllable sentence. The objective of this work was to study other grids, to obtain different sentences length with 3x3 (9-syllables), 4x4 (16-syllables), 5x5 (25 syllables), 6x6 (36 syllables) or 7x7 (49 syllables) grids. Thus, this game would be more versatile and could be used more extensively than limiting it to 25-syllable sentences. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, the material-lubricant-systems of water lubrication combined with gears made from different tungsten carbide compositions are investigated regarding their behavior concerning wear as well as further gear failures such as scuffing, pitting and tooth root breakage. This intervention aims to analyze the spatial arrangement of the tenants in the different orders of the San Giovanni Grisostomo’s theater during the opening season, through the study of the documents from the notary of the Grimani’s brothers (named Fratina), now preserved in the Archivio di Stato di Venezia. The opening years of San Giovanni Grisostomo are significant from a political point of view; tensions within the aristocracy had worsened after the entry of a substantial number of families, obtained thanks to the outlay of a large sum of money. The phenomenon will be so destabilizing that it will take years to reach a new balance in the Maggior Consiglio. The evidence found allow us to affirm that not only the theater layout reflected the divisions within the patriciate, but also that the tenancy of the boxes from some rapidly growing families may have underpinned an intention of social ascent, thanks to the physical closeness between the new acquisitions and the historical affiliates of the patriciate. Finally, it is found that the positioning of some families, ambassadors or important political personalities could become a pretext for the establishment of new alliances.

A box has the potential to be opened and closed and to contain something; as such, it is a form uniquely suited to conveying ideas of concealment, revelation, and the containment of the sacred in matter. This was especially true of a small, fifth-century ivory box in the form of a casket, carved in relief with scenes of Christ's passion, death, and resurrection. As an object, it incorporated kinaesthetic analogies—through the way it was moved and manipulated and through the agency of its material—in order to convey the mystery of the Incarnation. The article is devoted to the objects of decorative and applied art of the Khakass — caskets Abdra and boxes Khayrchah, which fell out of use at the beginning of the 20th century. The research was based on the museum collections of the Khakass National Museum of Local Lore and the Minusinsk Museum of Local Lore. The author examines the material, shape and decor of the Khakass caskets Abdra and boxes Khayrchah.

Given a finite set of weighted points in R d (where there can be negative weights), the maximum box problem asks for an axis-aligned rectangle (i.e., box) such that the sum of the weights of the points that it contains is maximized. We consider that each point of the input has a probability of being present in the final random point set, and these events are mutually independent; then, the total weight of a maximum box is a random variable. We aim to compute both the probability that this variable is at least a given parameter, and its expectation. We show that even in d = 1 these computations are #P-hard, and give pseudo-polynomial time algorithms in the case where the weights are integers in a bounded interval. For d = 2 , we consider that each point is colored red or blue, where red points have weight + 1 and blue points weight - ∞ . The random variable is the maximum number of red points that can be covered with a box not containing any blue point. We prove that the above two computations are also #P-hard, and give a polynomial-time algorithm for computing the probability that there is a box containing exactly two red points, no blue point, and a given point of the plane.
