Hier scheint auch seine Vita verfaßt worden zu sein, bevor sie sich in griechischen Handschriften verbreitete und in viele Sprachen der Alten Welt, darunter Koptisch, Armenisch und – später – Altkirchenslawisch, übersetzt wurde.
