The purpose of this study is to explain the difficulties experienced by postpartum women diagnosed with breast cancer. The research was a qualitative descriptive research and it was carried out in a private hospital where the possibility of total treatment (surgerychemotherapy-radiation oncology) of cancer located in the Istanbul province Anatolian side was provided. The survey was carried out between 01.01.2017-01.12.2017. Ten women who were diagnosed with postpartum breast cancer constitute the research sample. The Personal Information Form and the Interview Form were used as data collection tools in the research. Findings related to demographic information were presented by frequency analysis with SPSS statistical program. Findings related to the interview form are explained by qualitative analysis method. According to the results of the research, women who have been diagnosed with postpartum breast cancer have the greatest difficulty in this process due to chemotherapy. Besides, they are worried about their children, fear of death, not seeing enough support from their spouses, and living under economic burden are important difficulties., Bu araştırmanın amacı postpartum dönem meme kanseri tanısı alan kadınların yaşadığı güçlüklerin açıklanmasıdır. Araştırma niteliksel tanımlayıcı bir araştırma olup, İstanbul ili Anadolu yakasındaki bulunan kanserin bütüncül tedavi (ameliyat-kemoterapi-radyasyon onkolojisi) olanağı sunulan özel bir hastanede yapılmıştır. Araştırma 01.01.2017-01.12.2017 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Postpartum meme kanseri tanısı alan 10 kadın araştırma örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Görüşme Formu veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Demografik bilgilere ilişkin bulgular SPSS istatistik programı ile frekans analizi yapılarak sunulmuştur. Görüşme formuna ilişkin bulgular ise nitel analiz yöntemiyle açıklanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre postpartum dönem meme kanseri tanısı alan kadınlar bu süreçte en fazla kemoterapi nedeniyle zorluk yaşamaktadır. Bunun yanında çocukları hakkında yaşadıkları endişeler, ölüm korkusu, eşlerinden yeterli desteği görememek, ekonomik yük altında kalmakta yaşanan önemli güçlüklerdir.

A war is a struggle that states or states have made by using all or part of the national defense resources to solve problems that they cannot solve peacefully. The health of individuals is adversely affected in addition to the human losses caused by reasons such as hunger, misery, epidemic disease and war-related injuries during the war. Nurses, who have many functions such as minimizing negative effects, protecting and improving health, and preventing diseases, have touched the lives of individuals in society both during and after the war throughout history. During and after the war, nurses lead the triage of the sick and the wounded and provide security, and play an active role in improving the health of the society in the post-war processes. After the war, nurses are involved in rehabilitation for injuries that are the primary result of war in the long term, and in the treatment process for mental health problems such as general anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and major depression as a secondary result. The purpose of this review; It is the study of nursing services during and after the war that has existed throughout history. With this study, it was concluded that the wars that caused destruction, deaths, injuries and secondary consequences in society not only occurred in the time period but also had an effect for generations, and nurses will continue to have an important function in reducing the negative effects of this process on the health of the individual., Savaş, devlet veya devletlerin barış yoluyla halledemedikleri sorunları çözmek için milli savunma kaynaklarının tamamını ya da bir bölümünü kullanmak suretiyle yapmış oldukları mücadeledir. Savaşta yaşanan açlık, sefalet, salgın hastalık ve savaşa bağlı yaralanma gibi nedenlerle meydana gelen insan kayıplarının yanında bireylerin sağlığı olumsuz etkilenmektedir. Olumsuz etkilerin en aza indirgenmesi, sağlığın korunup geliştirilmesi, hastalıkların önlenmesi gibi birçok işleve sahip olan hemşireler tarih boyunca hem savaş esnasında hem de savaş sonrasında toplumdaki bireylerin yaşamına dokunmuştur. Savaş esnasında ve sonrasında hemşireler, hasta ve yaralıların triyajında, güvenliğin sağlanmasında liderlik etmekte, savaş sonrası süreçlerde ise toplumun sağlığının geliştirilmesinde etkin rol oynamaktadır. Hemşireler, savaştan sonra uzun dönemde savaşın birincil sonucu olan yaralanmalar için rehabilitasyon ile ikincil sonucu olan genel anksiyete bozukluğu, post travmatik stres bozukluğu, majör depresyon gibi ruh sağlığı sorunları için tedavi sürecinde yer almaktadır. Bu derleme tarih boyunca var olan savaş esnasında ve sonrasında hemşirelik hizmetlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Bu çalışma ile toplumda yıkımlara, ölümlere, yaralanmalara ve bunların getirdiği ikincil sonuçlara sebep olan savaşların sadece yaşandığı zaman diliminde kalmayıp kuşaklar boyunca etkisini gösterdiği ve hemşirelerin, bu sürecin bireyin sağlığındaki olumsuz etkilerini azaltmada önemli işleve sahip olmaya devam edeceği sonuçlarına varılmıştır.

Bu çalışma, jinekoloji ve ürojinekoloji ameliyatı olan hastaların hemşirelik bakım kalitesi hakkında düşüncelerini ve ameliyata özgü kaygı düzeylerini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel nitelikteki çalışmanın evrenini, SBÜ Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Kliniğinin Aseptik servisinde yatan, 179 hasta oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Nisan 2017-Ocak 2018 tarihleri arasında sosyo-demografik ve hastalık özellikleri içeren bilgi formu, Kaliteli Perioperatif Hemşirelik Bakım Skalası ve Ameliyata Özgü Kaygı Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada Kaliteli Perioperatif Hemşirelik Bakımı puan ortalamasının (125,9±14,3) Ameliyata Özgü Kaygı puan ortalamasının (25,9±6,03) olduğu belirlenmiştir. This study was conducted in order to determine the fetal health locus of control with the distress levels of pregnant women apply for prenatal diagnostic test. Descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 153 patients who are at risk for pregnancy and 153 patients who are not at risk for pregnancy. Patients were pregnant who applied to the Antenatal Polyclinic and Prenatal Diagnosis Treatment Unit of a University Faculty of Medicine in Istanbul, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology between June 2017 and August 2017. The data of study was obtained by Pregnant Information Form, Tilburg Pregnancy Distress Scale (TPDS) and The Fetal Health Locus of Control Scale (FHLC). In the evaluation of the data, number-percentage calculations, Kruskal-Wallis, Mann Whitney U, Anova test and independent t test were used. It was determined that the distress level of pregnant women was low and the health focus of control was medium. It was determined that the distress level of risky pregnant women was higher, but the baby health focus of control was not affected in case of risk. It was concluded that the distress level did not affect the health locus of control. Determining the prenatal distress in pregnancy and fetal health locus sub-dimensions, reducing the prenatal distress by developing internal control locus of pregnant and control locus associated with strong others and strengthening the connection of mother and baby can contribute to get better neonatal results., Bu çalışma, prenatal tanı testi için başvuran gebelerin distres düzeyleri ile bebek sağlık denetim odağının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel nitelikteki çalışma, İstanbul ilindeki bir Tıp Fakültesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Anabilim Dalı Antenatal Polikliniği ve Prenatal Tanı Tedavi Ünitesine Haziran 2017 - Ağustos 2017 tarihleri arasında başvuran 153’ü riskli, 153’ü riskli olmayan gebe ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verileri, Gebe Bilgi Formu, Tilburg Gebelikte Distres Ölçeği (TGDÖ) ve Anne Karnındaki Bebek Sağlık Denetim Odağı Ölçeği (AKBSDOÖ) ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, sayı-yüzdelik hesaplamaları, Kruskal-wallis, Mann Whitney U, Anova test ve Independent t testi kullanılmıştır. Gebelerin distres düzeyinin düşük, sağlık denetim odağının orta seviyede olduğu belirlenmiştir. Riskli gebelerin distres düzeyinin daha yüksek olduğu ancak bebek sağlık denetim odağının risk durumunda etkilenmediği belirlenmiştir. Distres düzeyinin sağlık denetim odağını etkilemediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Gebelerde prenatal distresi ve bebek sağlık denetim odağı alt boyutlarını tespit edip, gebelerin içsel ve güçlü diğerlerine bağlı kontrol odaklarını geliştirerek prenatal distresin azalmasını sağlayıp, anne bebek bağlanmasını güçlendirip daha iyi neonatal sonuçların alınmasına katkı sağlanabilir.

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, pandemi sürecinde sağlık çalışanı ebeveynlerin stres düzeyleri ile umut düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlenmektir.Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı tipteki araştırma, 1 Temmuz-1 Eylül 2020 tarihleri arasında 137 sağlık çalışanı ebeveyn ile çalışma yapılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, kişisel bilgi formu, Ebeveynlik Stres Ölçeği ve Sürekli Umut Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Bulgular: Ebeveynlerin %52,6’sı pandemi sürecinde çocukları ile aynı ortamda yaşadıklarını belirtirken, %84,7’si virüsün çocuklara zarar vermesinden endişe duyduğunu ifade etmiştir. Katılımcıların %68,6’sının çocuklarının okula gittiği, %56,9’unun bu süreçte uzaktan eğitime katıldığı, %46,7’sinin anne baba ve akrabalarından çocuk bakımında destek aldıkları belirlenmiştir. Ebeveynlerin %44,5’i “mümkün olsaydı çalışmaya ara vermek isterdim” ifadesine tamamen katıldığını belirtmiştir. Araştırma kapsamındaki ebeveynlerin, Umut Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 48,27±7,69, “alternatif yollar” alt boyut puan ortalaması 24,51±4.45 ve “eyleyici düşünce” alt boyut puan ortalaması 23,75±3,72’tir. Ebeveynlerin, Ebeveyn Stres Ölçeği puan ortalaması 25,50±5,95 olarak bulunmuştur. Ebeveynlerin Umut Ölçeği toplam puanının Ebeveyn Stres Ölçeği puanı ile negatif yönde anlamlı düzeyde ilişkili olduğu saptanmıştır. Uygulamada kullanım: Sağlık çalışanlarının ebeveynlik stresi ve sürekli umut düzeylerinin belirlenmesi, ihtiyaç durumunda uygun müdahale yöntemlerinin planlanması, geliştirilmesi, uygulanması ve değerlendirilmesine araştırmadan elde edilen bulguların katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir., Objectives: The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the stress levels of healthcare workers and their hope levels during the pandemic process.Methods: The descriptive and relationship-seeking research was carried out with 137 healthcare worker parents between 1 July and 1 September 2020. The research data were obtained by using the personal information form, the Parenting Stress Scale and the Dispositional Hope Scale.Results: While 52.6% of the parents stated that they lived in the same environment with their children during the pandemic, 84.7% of them stated that they were worried about the virus harming the children. It was determined that the children of 68.6% of the participants went to school, 56.9% of them participated in online education in this process, and 46.7% of them received support in childcare from their parents and relatives. 44.5% of the parents stated that they completely agreed with the statement "I would like to take a break from working if possible". The mean scores of the parents within the scope of the study were 48.27±7.69 on the Hope Scale, 24.51±4.45 in the "Alternative Ways" sub-dimension, and 23.75±3.72 in the "Agent Thinking" sub-dimension. The mean score of the parents on the Parental Stress Scale was found to be 25.50±5.95. It was determined that the parents' Hope Scale total scores were negatively and significantly correlated with the Parental Stress Scale scores.Practice Implications: It is thought that the results of this study will contribute to the determination of parenting stress and hope levels of healthcare professionals, and to the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate intervention methods in case of need.

This research was conducted to investigate the effect of e-literacy levels of breastfeeding mothers on their attitudes towards infant feeding. The sample of the descriptive, cross-sectional and relationship-seeking study consisted of 182 mothers who applied to Nevşehir State Hospital, Private Versa Hospital and Nevşehir Ürgüp Community Health Center pediatric outpatient clinics between April 15 and July 15, 2019 and agreed to participate in the study. Research data were obtained with descriptive data collection form, Iowa Infant Nutrition Attitude Scale and E-health Literacy Scale. It was determined that 67.6% of the mothers participating in the study were at high school or higher education level, 51.6% fed their babies only with breast milk, and 69.2% of them used the internet as a source about infant nutrition. Aim: This study was carried out to determine the perceived stress and psychological well-being levels of pregnant women during the pandemic process and to reveal the effects of both situations on each other. Material and Method: The descriptive and relationship-seeking study was conducted with 155 pregnant women between 5 June and 15 September 2020. The research data were obtained with the introductory questionnaire, the Perceived Stress Scale, and the Psychological Well-Being Scale.Results: 27.7% of the pregnant women stated that they always stayed at home during the pandemic process, whereas 63.2% always had anxiety when they went out and 94.2% always used protective equipment when going out. 96.8% of the pregnant women stated that they restricted their visits during the pandemic; 91.6% were afraid of catching the virus; and 93.5% were worried that the virus would harm their baby. The mean PSS score of the pregnant women was found to be 32.53 ± 4.7 (high level), while the Psychological Well-Being Scale mean score was 41.17 ± 10.86 (high level). There was no statistically significant relationship between the stress levels perceived by the pregnant women and their psychological well-being (p>0.05). Conclusion: During the pandemic period, when the stress levels and psychological well-being of pregnant women are high, it is recommended to support the pregnant women more bio-psycho-socially and to make necessary arrangements for this., Amaç: Bu araştırma, pandemi sürecinde gebelerin algıladıkları stres ve psikolojik iyi oluş düzeylerini belirlemek ve her iki durunun birbiri üzerine etkisini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı tipteki araştırma, 5 Haziran - 15 Eylül 2020 tarihleri arasında 155 gebe ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verileri, tanıtıcı soru formu, Algılanan Stres ölçeği ve Psikolojik iyi oluş ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir.Bulgular: Gebelerin %27.7’si pandemi sürecinde sürekli evde kaldığını, %63.2’si zorunlu olarak dışarı çıktığında her zaman endişe yaşadığını ve %94.2’si dışarı çıkarken her zaman koruyucu ekipman kullandığını belirtmiştir. Gebelerin %96.8’i pandemide ve ziyaretlerini kısıtladığını, %91.6’sı virüse yakalanmaktan korktuğunu ve %93.5’i virüsün bebeğine zarar vermesinden endişe ettiğini belirtmiştir. Gebelerin ASÖ puan ortalaması 32.53 ± 4.7 (yüksek düzeyde) ve PİOÖ puan ortalaması 41.17 ± 10.86 (yüksek düzeyde) olarak bulunmuştur. Gebelerin algıladıkları stres düzeyleri ile psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptanmamıştır (p>0.05). Sonuç: Gebelerin stres düzeylerinin ve psikolojik iyi oluşlarının yüksek olduğu, pandemi döneminde gebelerin biyo-psiko-sosyal yönden daha çok desteklenmesi ve bunun için gerekli düzenlemelerin yapılması önerilmektedir.

Amaç: Bu araştırma, gebelerin prenatal tarama testlerine ilişkin görüş ve tutumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Niteliksel tipteki bu çalışmanın örneklemini, İstanbul ili Ümraniye ilçesindeki bir aile sağlığı merkezine 01.12.2020-01.02.2021 tarihleri arasında başvuran birinci trimesterdeki 10 gebe oluşturmuştur. Veriler, kişisel bilgi formu ve görüşme soruları formu ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan gebelerin yüksek oranda prenatal tarama testleri hakkında bilgi sahibi oldukları ve sağlık profesyonellerinin verdikleri bilgileri yeterli gördükleri saptanmıştır. Testleri yaptırmanın zorunlu olmadığının bilinmesine karşın gebelerin çoğunun tarama testlerini yaptıracağı saptanmıştır. Tarama testleri sonucunun olumlu çıkması durumunda gebelik sürecinin olumlu etkileneceği fakat risk tespit edilmesi durumunda da gebeliği sonlandırma düşüncesinin olmadığı saptanmıştır. Gebelerin tarama testlerini yaptırma aşamasında randevu ve maliyet sorunları yaşadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Uygulamada Kullanım: Ebe ve hemşirelerin bu konudaki görevlerini daha efektif bir biçimde yerine getirebilmeleri için bağlı bulunulan kurum ve kuruluşlar tarafından hizmet içi eğitimler planlanması, daha fazla gebenin tarama testleri ve konjenital anomaliler hakkında bilgi sahibi olabilmesi için bu konuda broşürler, TV yayınları ve kamu spotları oluşturulması önerilmektedir., Objectives: This study has been carried out to find out the views and attitudes of pregnant women towards prenatal screening tests. Methods: The sample of this qualitative study consisted of 10 pregnant women in the first trimester who applied to a primary care clinic in Ümraniye district of İstanbul between 01.12.2020 and 01.02.2021. The data were obtained with the personal information form and the interview questions form. Content analysis method was used to analyze the data. Results: It was found out that the pregnant women who participated in the study had a high level of knowledge about prenatal screening tests and that they considered the information provided by health professionals sufficient. Although it is known that it is not compulsory to take the tests, it was noted that most of the pregnant women would have the screening tests. It was observed that if the results of the screening tests were positive, the pregnancy process would be affected positively, however there was no thought of terminating the pregnancy in case of a risk detection. It was noted that pregnant women experienced appointment and cost problems during the screening tests. Practice Implications: In order for midwives and nurses to fulfill their duties in this regard more effectively, it is recommended to plan in-service trainings by affiliated institutions and organizations, and to create brochures, TV broadcasts and public spots on this subject so that more pregnant women can have information about screening tests and congenital anomalies.
