The objective of this study is to diagnose and quantify energy consumptions of a real residential building in Ghardaïa site under Sahara weather conditions. This building can be considered as a thermal system, with a series of heat inputs and outputs. The method followed is based on an integrating approach for assessing the heating and cooling energy performance; the production of domestic hot water, free and internal loads related to lighting, occupants and equipment are not considered. Statistics of weather are devoted to calculate the annual heating and cooling requirements, based on climate data from 2012 to 2014. We are also interested in a technical and economic study to determine the corresponding energy cost. As results indicate, this residential building is not affordable to live in. Facade walls, roof and ground are the major sources of heat losses in buildings (more than 80% of the total losses). The evaluation served as a basic survey to build ecological and bioclimatic houses adapted to the region's climate. The optimum thickness in cavity walls in buildings is determined under steady conditions; the heat transfer has been calculated according to ISO 15099:2003. Two forms of masonry units are investigated to conclude the advantage of high thermal emissivity. The paper presents also some results from a study of the thermal insulation performance of air cavities bounded by thin reflective material layer "ε = 0.05". Transfers of energy during the propagation of an electromagnetic wave in homogeneous and stationary plasma are described by the instantaneous Poynting theorem, using Maxwell equations. At the Curie temperature, the properties of dielectrics undergo phase transitions. The Landau's theory is used here to investigate these transitions for a dielectric medium placed between the anode and cathode of a capacitor. Abstract: First principles calculations within the density functional theory framework were carried out to calculate electronic structures and dielectric constant predictions of InGaP2 and InAlP2 compounds. We use three arrangements of these compounds: CuAu-I, CuPt and chalcopyrite ones. Different approximations have been dealt with in order to predict valuable bands gaps energy using DFT calculations. Electronics structure results are promising, due to the good agreement with a number of observable physical-chemistry properties. On the other hand, electron localization function and atom in molecule formalisms have been done to give more insight on the bonding properties. Capabilities that exhibit the InAlP2 in its CuAu-I structure, such as the anisotropy and second harmonic generation, make it promising for an intensive optoelectronic application.
