Fifty 30-wk-old, medium white orlopp turkey breeder hens were equally divided into five light treatment groups (10L:14D, 11L:13D, 12L:12D, 13L:11D and 14L:10D) for 27 wk. The light intensity used was 50 lux at bird level. At weeks 28 through 39 the light day was increased to 17 h at 200 lux intensity for all treatments.
