Well crystallinenanostructured TiO2 powder was synthesised by Co-precipitation method using Titanium (IV) isopropoxide and CTAB are precursor materialsto maintain in 1:1 ratio concentration. The synthesised power was structurally, morphologically and optically analysed to using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and UV-Vis absorption spectra. The betalain pigment of polluted water was prepared from Beta vulgaris extract at room temperature (RT). The 89% of betalain pigment was degraded at 40 min from Beta vulgaris extract polluted water using as-prepared TiO2 powder as a photocatalystmaterial under visible light.

Construction of visible-light active photocatalyst with robust stability and efficient activity towards organic pollutant degradation and the reactive radical’s production still motivate the research in the photocatalytic environmental remediation application. Herein, the effective and recyclable rGO supported g-C3N4/CoFe2O4 heterojunction was successfully prepared by the hydrothermal route. The optical property analysis demonstrated the prepared nanoparticles are visible-light active for the degradation process. Moreover, the interfacial heterojunction formation between the nanoparticles inhibits the electron-hole recombination during the photocatalysis process. This synergistic strategy of the nanocomposite helps to utilize the chemical oxidant (H2O2) for bossing the OH radical production and 4-NP degradation. The ternary nanocomposite rGO/g-CN/CFO exhibits superior photocatalytic activity with a higher amount of H2O2 consumption and robust recycle stability. Moreover, the prepared ternary nanocomposite shows the extraordinary degradation activity for a wide range of pH conditions. Hence, we believed that this ternary nanocomposite would be an effective photocatalyst for environmental remediation applications.

One-dimensional (1D) rutile phase of TiO2 such as branched nanorods, unidirectional nanorods (NRs), nanorods composed microspheres were synthesized by one-step hydrothermal method. CdSe Quantum dots was anchored on the TiO2 surface. The well-controlled and different nano-morphology were achieved by simply controlling hydrothermal reaction time of 4 h, 6 h and 8 h. The synthesized TiO2/CdSe were characterized by XRD, UV–Visible, SEM-EDX, and J-V characteristic studies. The rutile phase unidirectional NRs show 1.76% of solar cell efficiency owing to its high electron transport performance during fabrication. Our results shows that,the potentiality of TiO2/CdSe in innovative photoanode to attain improved performance of solar cell.
