Abstract

Az olvasás egyike azon kreatív tevékenységeknek, amelyek magasabban szervezetté teszik az emberi személyiséget, vagyis egyszerre tölt be lelki zavarokat megelőző, egészségvédelmi és fejlesztő funkciót. Olvasmányaink azzal nyújthatnak segítséget szellemi-lelki jóllétünk megtalálásához és védelméhez, hogy támpontokat adnak érzéseink azonosításához, a viselkedésünkre való rálátáshoz, önmagunk és a világ jobb megismeréséhez és megértéséhez. Az e könyv fejezeteiben bemutatott projektek egy-egy lehetséges, bevált megközelítést képviselnek az olvasásnépszerűsítés, olvasásfejlesztés és az irodalomterápia rendkívül gazdag, változatos, folyamatosan alakuló területén. A könyv fókuszában - mindegy, hogy a kisgyermek olvasóvá neveléséről, a kritikai gondolkodásról, az élő könyvtárról vagy irodalomterápiás csoportokról van-e szó - végső soron mindig az olvasás kontextusában születő önismereti és társas élmény, illetve az ennek hatására létrejövő személyiségfejlődés és életminőség-változás áll. A könyv szerzője a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Kultúratudományi, Pedagógusképző és Vidékfejlesztési Kar Kultúra-, Könyvtár- és Társadalomtudományi Intézetének oktatója, a pécsi biblioterápiás képzés alapító szakfelelőse, az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár munkatársa.

Abstract

In the autumn of 2012 the Csorba Győző Library (at the South Transdanubian Regional Library and Knowledge Centre, Pécs) started a non-formal reading promotion project involving several age groups. The project's time span is one and a half years. The target groups include families expecting a baby. A series of bibliotherapy sessions were organised (7 occasions) for this group, meant to be followed by a longer reading promotion programme. Using texts from fiction, future parents participating at the sessions were walked through the most important stages from expecting a baby through birth and baby care to the early phase of raising children. This bibliotherapy group had the aim to assist participants to mobilise their own experience, to promote their insight, to catalyse personal change, to help overcome anxieties and fears, to increase self-confidence, to raise self-awareness, and to prepare for the role of parents with the help of conversations. 34. MtDNA Polymorphism in the Hungarians: Comparison to Three other Finno-Ugric-Speaking Populations

Abstract

Mitochondrial DNA sequence variation as well as restriction site polymorphisms were examined in 437 individuals from four Finno-Ugric-speaking populations. These included the Hungarians (Budapest region and the Csángós from Hungary and Romania), the Finns and two Saami groups from northeastern Finland (Inari Saami and Skolt Saami), and the Erzas from central Russia. The mtDNA data obtained in this study were combined with our previous data on Y chromosomal variation for eight different loci in these populations. The genetic variation observed among the Hungarians resembled closely that found in other European populations. The Hungarians could not be distinguished from the neighboring populations (e.g., the Austrians) any more than from their Finno-Ugric linguistic relatives.

Abstract

The history of living libraries dates back to 1993, when five Danish youths de- cided to launch a preventive movement against violence. The “Living Library” projects were based on prior knowledge and own life experiences and were built on group conversation and information exchange. The librarian students of the Department of Library and Information Science have studied pedagog- ical techniques to develop critical thinking and to foster interactive learning in the course of Critical Approach to Managing Information and Information Sources. They also got acquainted here with the living library method. The final exam task for the group was to create a living library within a project work. This paper shows the results of these projects.
