Mucocele is a benign fluid cyst that is the 17th most common oral salivary gland lesion. Young children are more prevalent to have mucocele but can also affect all the age groups. Clinical findings are used to make the majority of diagnoses. If a mucocele is left untreated, it leads to scar tissue formation and can be painful, especially in the case of deep mucoceles. A 12-year-old female patient came to the department with the complaint of swelling on the right side inner aspect of the lower lip that had been present for 1 year. Clinical examination revealed a soft, well-defined, non-tender, raised solitary, pale-colored, and nodular growth with a smooth surface on the labial mucosa between the vermillion border of the lower lip and the labial sulcus. It was roughly 1 × 1 cm in size. The diagnosis was made as a mucocele. A conventional surgical excision procedure was selected for the case due to the low risk of recurrence. It was performed with a scalpel and the excised mucocele clearly demonstrated extravasation type mucocele. In a 6-month follow-up, the lesion had regressed entirely with no recurrence. The surgical removal of the lesion, as well as the associated minor salivary gland, managed to produce satisfactory results.

A 10-year-old male child reported to our department with a chief complaint of a nonerupted tooth in the upper front region of jaw. The patient's mother gave a history of trauma to anterior teeth in upper jaw 6 years back due to a road traffic accident, resulting in the intrusion of the left primary central maxillary incisor. The intruded tooth reappeared spontaneously and exfoliated normally. In the present scenario, clinical examinations showed impacted permanent maxillary left central incisor and the presence of a small hard nodule in the palatal aspect and in the labial vestibule of the same tooth. A Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) radiographic examination was carried out in order to diagnose the cause of an impacted tooth and revealed dilaceration of permanent left central incisor along the length of a tooth. Hence, the final diagnosis was made as impacted dilacerated permanent left central incisor (due to trauma). Management of impacted dilacerated permanent teeth was done by surgical exposure with orthodontic traction.

An 11-year-old girl reported to the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, with a chief complaint of discoloration of teeth and poor esthetics due to irregular teeth in the upper and lower front region of jaw. There was no history of trauma in either the primary or permanent dentition. Family history did not reveal any evidence of hereditary dental anomalies. Clinical examination revealed multiple dental anomalies in both the maxillary and mandibular anterior region. There was hypoplastic, irregular globular mass on labial surfaces of maxillary right central, lateral and canine (A). Similar irregular hypoplastic mass was seen on to the cervical one-third of mandibular right central and lateral incisors (B). The presence of a talon cusp in the permanent maxillary right central incisor interfered with occlusion in the lower right incisor region (C). Dens invaginatus with maxillary permanent right lateral incisor was seen radiographically (D). Management of hypoplastic, irregular globular masses on labial surfaces of maxillary and mandibular teeth was done initially by grounding the tooth surfaces and reformed by composite build-up.
