Пособие предназначено для студентов специальности 1-47 01 02 «Дизайн электронных и веб-изданий», а также может использоваться студентами заочной формы обучения.

Abstract

Este proyecto viene de la necesidad de la renovación del sitio web del CIFP Ferrolterra. El centro posee una web anticuada, con una apariencia poco atractiva y con contenidos desactualizados, debido a la plataforma de alojamiento. El principal objetivo de este proyecto era crear un prototipo de su sitio web que sirva de base para una futura web. Se pide también, el diseño y la modernización de su logotipo, así como un cambio en la imagen corporativa que incremente su visibilidad, los diferencie de sus competidores y que le permita alcanzar nuevos targets. Se ha creado un prototipo de web con un diseño amigable, de fácil navegación y usabilidad que logra exponer los contenidos de forma rápida, dinámica y sencilla. The aim of the project is to redesign the CIFP Ferrolterra website, changing its graphic interface, its corporate image and adapting it to multi-devices, all by means of a high resolution prototype that shows the centre, its training offer and all its activities. The current web that has the center, is an old-fashioned web, with an unattractive appearance and very limited due to the content manager of the Xunta de Galicia and the allowed structure. It presents many empty tabs or with decontextualized content and is not responsive. For this reason, it is intended to hire an external accommodation that increases its visibility and offers a better service to its users. In order to carry out this project, a prototype has been made with Axure, to create a website. with responsive design, that allows us to visualize it from computers, as well as from mobile devices. The result is a website with a more modern and updated graphic interface, with a new corporate image, which shows the educational offer of the centre and contains the necessary academic information for its users and all the activities carried out by the centre. Aquest projecte ve de la necessitat de la renovació del lloc web del CIFP Ferrolterra. El centre posseeix un web antiquada, amb una aparença poc atractiva i amb continguts desactualitzats, a causa de la plataforma d'allotjament. El principal objectiu d'aquest projecte era crear un prototip del seu lloc web que serveixi de base per a una futura web. Es demana també, el disseny i la modernització del seu logotip, així com un canvi en la imatge corporativa que incrementi la seva visibilitat, els diferenciï dels seus competidors i que li permeti assolir nous targets. S'ha creat un prototip de web amb un disseny amigable, de fàcil navegació i usabilitat que aconsegueix exposar els continguts de forma ràpida, dinàmica i senzilla.

4. The Role of User Interface Design in a Digital Document Reader

Abstract

User Interface Design is the center concept of this thesis. It was used throughout this thesis in order to remedy the design issue of a product called Loredge. Loredge was a digital document reader that contained a Library page with a very simple design. The ultimate goal was to create design suggestions that provides users with a lot of convenience in navigating items for Loredge’s Library page. The solution was proposed by introducing the design process and the concept of Human-Centered Design, which were the essentials in compliance with Loredge users’ desires. The end results demonstrated some interesting facts about users that researchers did not think about at the beginning, which was very helpful to recognize what users want the most for themselves. Despite some predictable answers, the outcome indeed gave the problem a potential solution. The solution was to introduce categories/groups to users and design for menus and buttons that helps user filter out the items they want to navigate. This was implemented to digital mock-ups using a wireframing tool called Axure. The mock-ups could be found within this degree project., Användargränssnitt är centrumkonceptet för denna avhandling. Det användes under hela denna avhandling för att avhjälpa designproblemet av en produkt som heter Loredge. Loredge var en digital dokumentläsare som innehöll en bibliotekssida med en mycket enkel design. Det ultimata målet var att skapa designförslag som ger användarna mycket bekvämlighet i navigeringsdokument för Loredges bibliotekssida. Lösningen föreslogs genom att introducera designprocessen och konceptet Human-Centered Design, vilka var nödvändiga i enlighet med Loredge-användarnas önskemål. Slutresultatet visade några intressanta fakta om användare som forskare inte tänkte på i början, vilket var till stor hjälp för att känna igen vad användarna vill ha mest för sig själva. Trots vissa förutsägbara svar gav utfallet verkligen problemet en potentiell lösning. Lösningen var att introducera kategorier / grupper till användare och design för menyer och knappar som hjälper användaren att filtrera ut de dokument som de vill navigera. Detta implementerades för digital mock-ups med hjälp av ett wireframing verktyg som heter Axure. Mock-ups kunde hittas inom detta examensarbete.

Abstract

Diplomsko delo zajema načrtovanje dobre uporabniške izkušnje. S pomočjo literature je najprej opisan postopek načrtovanja po posameznih nivojih, nato pa je prikazana njegova uporaba na realnem primeru iz prakse. Praktični primer zahteva načrtovanje uporabniškega vmesnika s poudarkom na uporabniški izkušnji (brez dokončnega podrobnega oblikovanja) za sistem upravljanja bolniške sobe za dializo, ki ga uporabljajo medicinske sestre v večjih dializnih centrih. S sistematičnim načrtovanjem po nivojih dosežemo, da je aplikacija, ki jo razvijamo, prilagojena karakteristikam končnega uporabnika in izpolnjuje cilje njenega naročnika. Rezultat naloge je model žičnih okvirjev, ki podrobno prikazuje funkcionalnost aplikacije in postopek interakcije z uporabnikom. The thesis covers the process of designing a good user experience. The process is first described layer-by-layer using literature, then its usage is demonstrated on a real-world example. The practical example requires the design of a user interface with an emphasis on the user experience (without the final detailed design) for a hospital dialysis room management system used by nurses in larger dialysis centers. Through systematic layer-by-layer planning, the designed application is adapted to the characteristics of the end user and fulfills the goals of the customer. The result is a wireframe model which details the functionality of the application and the process of interaction with users.
