This study aims to (1) describe student learning behavior and student self-regulated learning while studying from home, (2) analyze the relationship between self-regulated learning and student learning behavior while studying from home. This research is a descriptive correlational survey research. The research subjects were 2,867 junior high school students in Indonesia, Grades 7, 8 and 9 were selected by cluster random sampling. Data was collected online using google form. The research instrument uses a learning behavior scale and a self-regulated learning scale developed by the researcher and the instrument validation process has been carried out. Data were analyzed descriptively and correlationally using the JASP (Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program) program. Based on the results of the study (1) 1353 (47%) students have good learning behavior while studying from home and 1387 (48%) students have moderate levels of self-regulated learning while studying from home, (2) There is a correlation between learning behavior and self regulated learning.

Abstract: The symptoms of smartphone addiction have been extensively observed in adolescent students. This study aims to investigate the effects of smartphone addiction on students’ communication with their families, their learning, as well as guidance and counseling processes. The causal correlational design was applied, involving 103 participants selected total samplings of eighth-graders junior high school students. The data was garnered through the smartphone addiction scale and family communication scale. Both of those scales had item validity of 0.3, with Alpha Cronbach reliability of 0.937 and 0.850, respectively. The obtained data were analyzed using regression. The analysis results suggest that smartphone addiction significantly decreased the quality of students’ communication with their families, by -0,416. This result can be fundamental for school counselors and the subject teachers in formulating and implementing the learning process, to reduce the effects of smartphone addiction, enhance their communication skills, and improve the learning efficiency through the use of the smartphone as learning media, instead of restraining the smartphone use. Abstrak: Dewasa ini, gejala kecanduan smartphone semakin meluas pada siswa remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi kecanduan smartphone terhadap kualitas komunikasi siswa dalam keluarga, dan membahas implikasinya bagi pembelajaran, serta bimbingan dan konseling. Rancangan kausal korelasional digunakan pada 103 responden siswa kelas delapan yang menggunakan smartphone lebih dari 5 jam sehari, yang dipilih secara total sampling di sekolah menengah pertama. Data dikumpulkan dengan skala kecanduan smartphone dan skala komunikasi dalam keluarga yang telah diuji, keduanya memiliki validitas butir lebih dari sama dengan 0,3, reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach 0,937 dan 0,850. Data dianalisis regresi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kecanduan smartphone berkontribusi signifikan menurunkan kualitas komunikasi siswa dalam keluarga sebesar -0,416. Implikasinya adalah konselor sekolah perlu berkolaborasi dengan guru bidang studi dalam menyusun dan melaksanakan program untuk mengurangi dampak negatif, meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi, dan meningkatkan keefektifan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan smartphone sebagai media belajar, alih-alih membatasi penggunaannya baik di rumah maupun di kelas.

Many changes in the education system affect the professionality level practiced by counselors. Cultural diversity and acculturation pushed a counselor to be more professional in counseling multicultural skills. This research aims to discover a counselor's skill in multicultural competence that consist of foundation dimension, multicultural dimension, and multicultural counseling. This competency is important and needed in Indonesia as a country with more heterogeny in social, culture, and religion. The research method was used as descriptive quantitative research through the Counselor's Multicultural Competence Scale (CMCS) that was distributed to 100 school counselors in Padang, Indonesia. The result shows that 60 school counselors have a low foundation dimension and multicultural dimension, 50 have low multicultural counseling, and 10 have low three dimensions. This research results recommend a new approach and model for educating and developing a counselor's skills in a multicultural approach to counseling.

The purpose of this research is to determine teachers’ roles in improving students' self-adjustment and its supporting factors at Ar-Risalah Islamic Junior High School, Padang, Indonesia. This is qualitative descriptive research with data collected from teachers, students, principals, and other school officials through interview, observation, and documentation. The data collected were analyzed using reduction and triangulation processes. The result showed that the teacher had expertise as a motivator to support and trigger the student enthusiasm in adapting and learning new materials at school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors of the self-adjustment process were parents that have not been able to let their children go to boarding schools and teachers without psychological backgrounds, because this background are needed for better approach and intervention for children to make them enthusiasm in learning in boarding school

The Indonesian Minister of Education designed the 2013 school curriculum (K13) to activate students’ learning behavior but there is low-intensity research in it. Hence, this study aims to explain the contribution of achievement, affiliation, power, and religious motivation to learning behavior in Islamic Religion that applies K13 during the pandemic in adolescent students. It employed a causal relationship-explanation design involving 201 samples selected through random stratification representing 795 student population aged 13-16 years, grades 7th, 8th, and 9th from 26 parallel classes. Data were collected through a five scales test for item validity ≥ 0.3 and Cronbach Alpha reliability by 0.6 - 0.904, and then analyzed via multiple regression. The results showed that the theoretical regression model was empirically fit (sig F (201) = 0.000 0.05). The contribution of the four predictor motivations in the model together was 72.9 percent on learning behavior. Achievement, affiliation, and religious motivation could contribute in increasing learning behavior, but power motivation demonstrated otherwise. Consequently, teachers need to guide adolescent students to increase achievement motivation, religion, and affiliation but reduce power motivation at an ideal level to improve student learning behavior.

Abstract: Self-esteem is an important element for students to support their development optimally. However, students performed various problems related to the students’ self-esteem level. For instance, students posted their activities and problems on social media. One variable affected self-esteem was students’ emotional control. This study aimed to identify the effect of emotional control on students’ self-esteem. This study involved 612 students as sample who were randomly selected in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data analysis technique in this research was regression analysis. Results indicated that there was a significant effect of emotional control on students’ self-esteem. This study recommended a counseling service to increase students’ self-esteem by involving emotional control variable. Abstrak: Harga diri merupakan unsur penting bagi siswa agar dapat berkembang secara optimal. Akan tetapi, siswa kerap kali mengalami masalah yang berkaitan dengan rendahnya harga diri mereka, misalnya siswa menunjukkan berbagai kegiatan dan masalahnya di media sosial. Salah satu variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap harga diri adalah regulasi emosi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh regulasi emosi terhadap harga diri siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 612 siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA) yang dipilih secara acak di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara regulasi emosi terhadap harga diri siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan sebuah program layanan konseling untuk meningkatkan harga diri siswa dengan melibatkan variabel regulasi emosi.

Abstract: Eleganaboi was a traditional ceremony in Luro society which contained essential elements of local wisdom. This study aimed to investigating the values of guidance and counseling in Eleganaboi. To investigate the values of guidance and counseling, we use phenomenology qualitative descriptive method. To collect the data, we implemented observation and interview. The observations were carried out during a cultural ceremony in the Luro community. Furthermore, interview was conducted on four traditional leaders. Edicts and transcendental reduction were used to analyze data. The results show eleven fundamental values of guidance and counseling in Eleganaboi. Those values are: gratitude; genuine; humble; honest; discipline; coherent; respect; care; trust; inclusive and togetherness. The community utilized Eleganaboi as a method to guide and counsel each member, including who faced problems in their life. Abstrak: Eleganaboi adalah upacara tradisional masyarakat Luro yang berisi unsur-unsur penting kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai bimbingan dan konseling di Eleganaboi. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Untuk mengumpulkan data, dilakukan observasi dan wawancara. Observasi dilakukan pada saat upacara budaya di masyarakat Luro berlangsung. Selanjutnya, dilakukan wawancara pada empat pemimpin tradisional. Reduksi eiditis dan reduksi transendental digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil menunjukkan ada sebelas nilai dasar bimbingan dan konseling di Eleganaboi. Nilai-nilai itu adalah: rasa terima kasih; tulus; rendah hati; jujur; disiplin; koheren; hormat; peduli; percaya; inklusif; dan kebersamaan. Masyarakat Luro menggunakan Eleganaboi sebagai metode untuk membimbing dan menasihati setiap anggota mereka, termasuk mereka yang sedang menghadapi masalah dalam hidup.

Abstract: The study aimed to develop CSFCM to improve student self-regulated learning. CSFCM is an application of solution-focused counseling integrated with creative arts. The developmental research consisted of three stages: (1) identify the self-regulated learning level; (2) formulating a hypothetical draft of CSFCM to improve student self-regulated learning; and (3) conducting product feasibility testing by experts and practitioners. Data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the CSFCM which consisting five stages of counseling was categorized as feasible to be implement in the schools. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan CSFCM untuk meningkatkan self-regulated learning siswa. CSFCM merupakan aplikasi dari konseling berfokus solusi yang diintegrasikan dengan seni kreatif. Penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: (1) identifikasi tingkat self-regulated learning; (2) merumuskan draft hipotetik CSFCM untuk meningkatkan self-regulated learning siswa; dan (3) melakukan pengujian kelayakan produk oleh ahli dan praktisi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan CSFCM yang terdiri dari lima tahap konseling dikategorikan layak untuk diimplementasikan di sekolah. The purpose of this study is discovering and confirmingthe essentialfunction of Structure Equation Modeling (SEM) Analysis for assessment and educational research. The literatures in regards to SEM analysis as method of assessment and educational research will be descriptive analyzed and explored in the light of meta-analysis. The result of the study shown that by using SEM analysis ones get empirical data and clear picture of student’s need and do right assessment and research in education. The empirical data enable scholars and government to set new or revise current education program for the future. Therefore this result should be considered as important data for government, especially Education department to establish curriculum and planning strategy of teaching and learning which is conjunction with reality in the field. It means the education program that been established and will develop really match with real life and needs of student, society and the nation. So SEM analysis is important method for each researchers and scholars to run assessment and educational research now and beyond.

Coopetition plays a central role in the tourism and wine sector interplay, but there is a literature gap about the state-of-art on wine tourism coopetition. Our research aims to structure the knowledge status on wine tourism coopetition from the core research dimensions and the future trends indicated by the researchers. We answered four questions: What is the current coopetition research in wine tourism? Who are the prominent scholars? How are themes and authors correlated? What are the motivations and trends of the wine tourism coopetition? We conducted a bibliometric study using multiple techniques: Historiography, Correspondence Analysis, Thematic Relevance, and Development Matrix. Additionally, we performed a Content analysis to identify the motivations for Coopetition. Key results showed four cluster themes on this topic: Wine segmentation studies, Tourism experience studies, Studies of sustainability of wine tourism, and new theories to study wine tourism. We synthesized the dimensions and motivations of Coopetition as context, process, and results. Theoretical and practical implications showed Coopetition as a mostly unintentional process in the wine industry related to territorial synergy, interdependence, complementarity, and strategic fit. It is a broad intersectoral interplay that covers many industries. However, wine tourism coopetition should become a planned strategy to improve outcomes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
