Purpose: analyzing how fear of Covid-19 influences technology utilization attitude towards intention to use. Design/methodology/approach: This study used a quantitative approach conducted post Covid-19. Involving a sample of 138 mobile application users for health insurance services in Bali, Indonesia, by utilizing the PLS-SEM model analysis tool. Findings: Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), through its two elements, Perceived usefulness (PU) and Perceived ease of use (PEOU), has proven to significantly form a supportive attitude about the use of information technology in the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the influence of attitudes towards behavior intention to use (BIU) in the use of technology has also been proven clearly in the context of TAM. But TAM's ability to form intention directly can only be confirmed through PU, while PEOU has not been able to be proven. Fear of Covid19 has not been shown to play a role in moderating the influence of attitude on intention. Practical/implications: Encouraging attitude is very important to use technology based on usability and ease of using technology. However, it is not feasible to consider fear of Covid-19 as a factor to encourage people's attitudes towards technology to promote intention to use application technology for transactions. Originality/value: This study provides new insights, first to collaborate on fear of Covid on TAM and TRA. Examining the impact of Covid-19 fear moderation on the acceptance of mobile applications in the health insurance service industry and providing important information that people's behavior does not consider the dangers of Covid-19 when adopting information technology services in the future. Ever since the first games launched in the 1970s, the rapid growth of the video games market has successfully attracted more and more purchasers. In this study, we use Nintendo Switch as a case study to examine the extended technology acceptance model (TAM), which integrates the factors of Perceived Playfulness and Compatibility to determine their relevance in the usage behavior. A total of 266 questionnaires were obtained using snowball sampling and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study results revealed that the expanded TAM model can be effectively used in this context and it also showed a good fit for the proposed model from the data analyzed. Attitude explained an R2 of 0.85, which indicates that 85% of the variance in user’s behavior intention is accounted by attitude. Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness were significantly positively associated with attitude. Perceived Playfulness was significantly positively associated with Perceived Usefulness. This study also addresses the implications of the findings for researchers and the game marketing strategies practitioners.

- Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this paper was to study the views of faculty members of Iranian universities on service innovation and service quality in the intelligent library and their behavioral intentions during the Covid-19 crisis. Methodology: The method used to perform this applied research was analytical survey. The sample size was equal to 384 faculty members of universities in the provincial capitals of the country. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. Seven faculty members confirmed the content validity of the questionnaire. The overall reliability of the questionnaire was equal to .853 which indicated the optimal reliability of the questionnaire. The data analysis was performed using multiple regression and structural equation modeling using SPSS software version 23 and Amos version 21. Findings: Findings showed that service quality and service innovation could significantly explain the variance of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. On the other hand, parabolic correlation coefficients showed that the variable of service innovation was 20.79 percent and the quality of service was 32.71 percent of the variance of the variable of perceived usefulness. In adition, the variable of service innovation was 13.91 percent and the quality of service was 35.16 percent of the variance of the variable, which in turn, explain the perceived ease of use. The variables of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were able to explain the changes related to attitude toward using. On the other hand, the perceived usefulness should be 12.25 percent and the perceived ease of use should explain 21.06 percent of the variance of the variable of attitude toward using. Besides, the variable of attitude toward using was able to explain the changes related to the behavioral intention use and the variable of attitude toward using explained 61.77 percent of the variance of the variable of behavioral intention use. Moreover, the findings of the indicators of the proposed model indicated that it had a desirable and acceptable fit. Conclusion: Library users' satisfaction depends on providing quality information in the shortest possible time. Therefore, it is necessary to first have complete knowledge of the needs of users and then to meet these needs in a situation that can meet those needs to some extent. On the other hand, in times of crisis, libraries must provide quality information resources to their users online. This will not be possible unless libraries move towards intelligent libraries. Therefore, considering the importance of service quality and service innovation in university libraries, administrators of universities and libraries should take a dynamic approach to create their own intelligent libraries, evaluate and view the views of key library users in different periods, because this evaluation has strengths and weaknesses. In general, the results of this research are useful and effective in improving the quality of intelligent libraries and facilitating interaction between users and intelligent libraries. PhD (Psychology), North-West University, Vaal Triangle Campus, 2014 Technology has been an integral part of human life since the 19th century’s Industrial Revolution, and the advancement of technologies has continued into the 21st century. Of all new emerging technologies, the computer has been identified as the most important, most complex and fastest emerging technology. In order for businesses to compete and survive within the business world, they are compelled to adopt new computer technologies. However, computers alone cannot improve organisational performance. Computers need to be accepted, optimally used and utilised by employees in order for an organisation to succeed. One such technology is SAP AG’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which is a real-time, fully integrated business system used by more than 170 000 organisations in 120 countries. Measuring information system success has been a concern since its inception due to its complexity and difficulty to appraise. Researchers traditionally attempted to measure success by the delivering of a functional information system product within certain monetary and time constraints. Subsequently, evidence suggested that a more accurate measure of success lies within the field of system use. One model of assessing and predicting user acceptance and which has gained popularity in recent years is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Apart from accepting the SAP ERP system, users should also be of the intention to continuously use it as a job requirement. The model for measuring user commitment is psychological attachment which determines whether the commitment is insincere and temporary, or long-lasting. Further, not only do users need to accept and continuously use an information technology like SAP ERP; they also need to be able to cope while using it. If not, psychological stress known as techno stress develops and prevents the optimal use of this system. With these three possible explanations for computer technology avoidance as a premise of departure, this study aims to determine the congruence, if any, between the sub-constructs of the TAM (perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude toward using, behavioural intention to use and actual system use), psychological attachment (compliance, identification and internalisation), and techno stress (negative computer thoughts) within a South African SAP ERP user environment. A cross-sectional survey design was used rendering a convenience sample of N = 241 from among the SAP ERP user fraternity at a South African steel manufacturer. The measuring instruments used were the 23-item Technology Acceptance Questionnaire (TAM), the 10-item Psychological Attachment Questionnaire (PAQ) and the 20-item Computer Thoughts Survey (CTS-C). Study 1 which was a literature review confirmed conceptual congruence in that although the technology acceptance model was the most parsimonious, powerful and widely applied theoretical model, it was constrained due to the omission of social influence (psychological attachment) as a contributing factor in the processes of behavioural change towards technology acceptance. Furthermore, it was found that techno stress lowers employee efficiency and creates dissonance in the work environment, resulting in acceptance, hesitance or resistance towards the technology in question. Congruence was established between the system itself (technology acceptance), social relationships (psychological acceptance), and inherent psychological stress (techno stress). The aim of study 2 was to test the technology acceptance model within a South African SAP ERP user environment. Structural equation modelling confirmed that positive inter-construct relationships exist between all TAM constructs. Actual system use, which is the measurement for technology acceptance, was directly affected by behavioural intention to use and indirectly by perceived usefulness. In turn, behavioural intention to use was directly affected by perceived usefulness, attitude toward using and indirectly by perceived ease of use. Attitude toward using was directly affected by perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness was directly affected by perceived ease of use. Study 3 revealed that internalisation had a direct positive effect on behavioural intention to use and an indirect effect on actual system use via behavioural intention to use. Furthermore, in this study identification had direct positive effects on internalisation, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and actual system use. Indirect effects emerged between identification and behavioural intention to use via internalisation as well as behavioural intention to use via perceived usefulness. Compliance, on the other hand, had negligible, negative direct effects on all TAM constructs of which the most prominent was that on attitude toward using. Results acquired from structural equation modelling in study four confirmed that weak negative relationships existed between techno stress and all TAM constructs. This finding is contrary to other studies and can be attributed to the fact that participants in this study were at large, proficient around SAP ERP and therefore experienced low levels of techno stress. Furthermore, aspects such as effective training, clear deadlines, effective teamwork, recurrent performance evaluations, job security, career development and realistic job load are all antidotes for techno stress which is believed to be current within the participant fraternity. In a concluding chapter the conclusions derived from the literature review, as well as the empirical research were presented and recommendations flowing from this research study were made. Doctoral

Technology is oftenly used in numerous areas, also including the field of education. Especially the tablet computers (TPC) play an important role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the educational studies. In order for the emergence of the aforementioned effect and the effective use of the TPCs by the students, it is necessary for the students to accept the tablet computers by having a positive behaviour towards them, feeling that they are easy to use and also useful for the learning activities, while also having intentions of using them in the learning activities. In this study, the secondary education students' acceptance of the TPCs was analyzed by selecting the technology acceptance model as the baseline and developing the Tablet Computer Acceptance Scale. A valid and reliable scale that measured the secondary education students' acceptance of the TPC emerged as a result of the study.

Technology has been an integral part of human life since the 19th century’s Industrial Revolution, and the advancement of technologies has continued into the 21st century.
