Bu çalışmada; farklı su düzeyleri ve azot dozlarının patates böceği ve doğal düşmanlar üzerine etkisini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, 2019 ve 2020 yıllarında, Doğu Anadolu Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü, Toprak Su Yerleşkesinde, tesadüf bloklarında bölünmüş parseller deneme desenine göre üç tekrarlı olarak toplam 18 parselde yürütülmüştür. Ana parsellerde sulama düzeyleri (S1: Tam sulama, S2: S1 uygulamasına verilen sulama suyunun %70’i), alt parsellerde ise azot dozları (G1: 7 kg/da N, G2: 14 kg/da N, G3: 28 kg/da N) yer almıştır. Ortalama patates böceği ergin popülasyon yoğunluğu su kısıtı uygulamasında (S2) 0,40 birey/bitki, tam sulama uygulamasında (S1) 0,47 birey/bitki, 7 kg/da azot uygulamasında 0,32 birey/bitki, 14 kg/da azot uygulamasında 0,46 birey/bitki ve 28 kg/da azot uygulamasında 0,52 birey/bitki olmuştur. Elde edilen sonuçlar yapılan istatistiksel analiz sonucunda yüksek azot uygulamalarının patates böceğinin kontrolü bakımından uygun olmadığı sonucunu ortaya koymuştur., This study was carried out to determine the effects of different water levels and nitrogen doses on the potato beetle and natural enemies. In 2019 and 2020, the experiment was carried out on a total of 18 plots in 3 replicates according to the randomized completely block designs at the experimental area of East Anatolian Agricultural Research Institute, Soil Water Campus. It consisted of irrigation levels in the main plots (S1: full irrigation, S2: 70% of the irrigation water given to S1 subject), and nitrogen doses in the sub-plots (G1: 7 kg/da N, G2: 14 kg/da N, G3: 28 kg/da N). The average population density of Colorado potato beetle in water restricted application (S2) was 0.40 individuals/plant, 0.47 individuals/plant in full irrigation application (S1), 0.32 individuals/plant in 7 kg/da nitrogen application, 0.46 individuals/plant in 14 kg/da nitrogen application, and 0.52 individuals/plant in 28 kg/da nitrogen application. As a result, it was concluded that high nitrogen applications are not suitable for Colorado potato beetle control.

Based on the assumptions of many researchers, global warming and anthropogenic factors such as pollution, transporting and trading, as well as invasionism, lessepsianism, endangerism effect negatively and will continue to effect aquatic populations and their existence in the ecosystem and related habitats. Thus, it may be stated that climate warming and anthropogenic factors will certainly cause extinction of some aquatic organisms as well as fish species in the end, by 2080 or 2100. Considering economic impacts of losing some species, the new areas of fishing should be decided to sustain current needs of human and food industry. In this paper, the effects of global warming, natural and anthropogenic factors affecting aquatic life were discussed by using the data from various reports.

Distributional data about 234 species and subspecies belonging to 21 genera of Alticinae in Turkey are given. Thirteen of these taxa, Altica lythri Aubé, Aphthona rugipennis Ogloblin, Chaetocnema laevicollis (Thomson), Dibolia rugulosa Redtenbacher, Longitarsus atricillus (Gyllenhal), L. bytinskii Furth, L. jacobaeae (Waterhouse), L. reichei (Allard), L. salviae Gruev, Phyllotreta striolata (Fabricius), Ph. tetrastigma (Comolli), Psylliodes saulcyi Allard, P. testaceiconcolor Heikertinger, and one subspecies, Longitarsus alfierii furthi Gruev are new records for the fauna of Turkey. Four species (Longitarsus artvinus Gruev et Aslan, L. kopdagiensis Gruev et Aslan, Phyllotreta oltuensis Gruev et Aslan, Ph. ozbeki Gruev et Aslan) the orginal descriptions of which are in press, are briefly mentioned.

This faunal and systematic study on the subfamily Chrysomelinae (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) is based on material collected from Artvin, Erzincan and Erzurum provinces during 1992-1996 and previous years. 34 species belonging to twelve genera were recorded. Among them, Chrysolina cuprina (Duftchimit), C. geminata (Paykul), C. hyrcana Weise, C. trapezicollis Bechyné and Timarcha hummeli Falderman are new records for Turkish fauna. Chrysomela collaris L., C. populi L., C. salceti (Weise) and Plagiodera versicolora (Laicharting) were determined as willow and poplar pest, Gonioctena linnaeana (Schrank), Phratora vitellinae (L.) and P. tibialis (Suffrian) as willow pest, Gonioctena fornicata (Brügg.) as alfalfa pest and Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say) as potato pest. Furthermore, Gastrophysa viridula caucasica Jolivet has a potential use in the biological control of Rumex alpinus L., that is a significant weed species in spruce (Picae sp.) plantations. A short description was made for each species, and drawings of body parts having taxonomic importance were enclosed. Keys to the genera and species were prepared . The host plants of some species were recorded. Their distribution in the research area, other parts of the country and in the world was included., Artvin, Erzincan ve Erzurum illerinden 1992-1996 ve daha önceki y›llarda toplanan Chrysomelinae (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) türleri üzerinde yürütülen bu faunistik ve sistematik çal›flma sonucunda; 12 cinse ait 34 tür tespit edilmifltir. Her türün k›saca tan›m› yap›lm›fl, taksonomik öneme sahip vücut k›s›mlar› çizilerek cins ve tür tan› anahtarlar› haz›rlanm›fl, belirlenebilen konukçular ile Türkiye ve dünyadaki yay›l›fllar› verilmifltir.

Faunal and systematic studies on the subfamily Clytrinae (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) collected from Artvin, Erzincan and Erzurum provinces in 1992-1997 and previous years. Twentyfive species belonging to five genera were recorded. Among them Labidostomis axillaris Lacordaire, L. beckeri Weise, L. diversifrons Lefévre, L. lucida (Germar) and Smaragdina graeca (Lefévre) are new records for the Turkish fauna. A short description was made for each species and keys to the genera and species were prepared. The host plants of some species were recorded. Their distribution in the research area, other parts of the country and in the world was included, Artvin, Erzincan ve Erzurum illerinden 1992-1997 ve daha önceki yıllarda toplanan Clytrinae (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) örnekleri değerlendirilerek yapılan bu çalışmada 5 cinse bağlı 25 tür saptanmıştır. Bunlardan Labidostomis axillaris Lacordaire, L. beckeri Weise, L. diversifrons Lefévre, L. lucida (Germar) ve Smaragdina graeca (Lefévre) türleri Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıttır. Çalışmada, cins ve tür tanı anahtarları hazırlanmış, birçok türün konukçuları saptanmış, Türkiye ve dünyadaki dağılışları verilmiştir.

The pathogens and parasites of Chrysolina fastuosa (Scopoli, 1763) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) were investigated. Two different types of pathogen and parasite were recorded in the adults of C. fastuosa: a gregarine belonging to the family Gregarinidae and a nematode parasite member of the family Mermithidae for the first time. The total occurrence rate of the pathogen and parasite of C. fastuosa is 48.2%. The gregarine pathogen and mermithid parasite infection rates are 48.1% and 7.7% respectively. In this study we report a gregarine pathogen and a mermithid parasite of C. fastuosa (Scopoli, 1763) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) and their occurrence over a period of two years (2008 and 2009) from Turkey.

This sludy was carried out under Erzurum condition in the years ol 1997-1999. Adulls and larvae of Plagiodera versicolora (Laicharling) (Coleoplera, Chrysomelidae, Chrysomelinae) leed on wiHow foliages. Especially young willows were damaged and drved by feed of this insecl's larvae and adull. This insect gives 2-3 generation peryear in Erzurum provinces., 1997-1999 yılları arasında Erzurum koşullarında sürdürülen çalışmada, Plagiodera versicolora (Laicharling) (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae. Chrysomelinae) nın biyolojisi araştırılmış, söğütlerde erginlerin ve larvaların yapraklarda beslenmesi sonucu özellikle fidan döneminde olan söğütlerin önemli derecede zarar gördüğü veyeryer kuruduğu belirlenmiştir. Zararlının Erzurum koşullarında 2-3 döl verdiği saplanmıştır.

İn this study 75 species and 9 subspecies of 3 genera in 3 tribes have been recorded up to date in Turkey. Eighteen species are endemic. The host plant of some species were indicated., Bu çalışmada, 3 tribus'e ait 3 cins'e bağlı 75 tür ve 9 alttür'ün ülkemizde bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Bunlardan 36 tür ve 2 alttür incelenmiş, geri kalan 39 tür ve 7 alttür ise literatür değerlendirilerek verilmiştir. Tespit edilen türlerden 18 tür endemıktir. A 5-year-old child living in Erzurum, Turkey, complaining of otalgia, otorrhea and pruritus in the right ear for three days, was examined. Otoscopic examination at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology revealed live maggots in the external auditory canal. Ten maggots were recovered and were identified as third stage larvae of Wohlfahrtia magnifica (Diptera: Sarcophagidae). Local and systemic antibiotic therapies were applied. No pathological findings were present at the follow-up examination after 15 days of therapy.

Essential oil vapours from Thymus spicata, Thymbra spicata var. spicata, Mentha spicata var. formasa and Mentha spicata subsp. tomentosa were tested for their toxicity against the adults of Sitophilus granarius (L.). Essential oils were applied at the doses of 2, 3 and 4 mu l in desiccators with 4 1 capacity, corresponding to 0.5, 0.75 and 1 mu l/l air. Although desirable insecticidal activities against the pest were achieved with all the essential oils tested, the oil of M. spicata subsp. tomentosa was found the most effective at a dose of 0.5 mu l/l air and an exposure period of 48 h. On the other hand, the oils from M. spicata subsp. tomentosa and M. spicata var. formasa had similar effects at the doses of 0.75 and 1 mu l/l air and the exposure periods of 24, 36 and 48 h. For each of the plant essential oils tested, the toxicity against adult S. granarius was dose- and exposure time-dependent. A 100% mortality rate in adult S. granarius was achieved only with M. spicata subsp. tomentosa and M. spicata var. formasa essential oils at the dose of 1 mu l/l air and the exposure periods of 36 and 48 h. It can thus be concluded that essential oils from M. spicata subsp. tomentoso and M. spicata var. formasa may be potential control agents against S. granarius in storage facilities.

The chemical compounds norbornanetetraacetate (1b) cyclooctane-1,2,5,6-tetraacetate (2b), and lactone 3 showed fumigant toxicity against adults of Sitophilus granarius (Coleoptera: Curculionidae). The P-value tests were carried out to determine the statistical significance of dose and time combinations against the insect. Norbomanetetraacetate (1b) was the most toxic of the three compounds tested in 3 mu L (1 mu L/L air) within the first 24 h after application. The same level of toxicity was obtained with cyclooctane-1.2,5,6-tetraacetate (2b) in 3 mu L at 48 h. On the other hand, lactone 3 was the most toxic of the three compounds tested in 3 mu L (1 mu L/L air) at 72 h. In 9 L (3 mu L/L air), norbornanetetraacetate (1b) was the most toxic of the three compounds tested on adult S. granarius up to 48 h. Norbornanetetraacetate (1b) was more toxic than lactone 3 and cyclooctane-1,2,5.6-tetraacetate (2b) at 6-48 h in 9 mu L (3 mu L/L air), and as toxic as lactone 3 at 72 h. 1992-1996 yıllarında, Erzurum İli merkez ve ilçelerinden, bu ilçeleri temsil edecek şekilde birçok köyden toplanan Alticinae (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) türleri üzerinde yapılan faunistik ve sistematik bir araştırmadır. İncelenen türlerin önemli taksonomik karakterleri dikkate alınarak, kısa tanımlan yapılmış, cins ve tür tanı anahtarları hazırlanmış, taksonomik öneme sahip vücut kısımları çizilmiş, Türkiye ve dünyadaki yayılışları verilmiştir. Ayrıca, birçok türün konukçu bitkileri belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda, Alticinae altfamilyasına ait 14 cinse bağlı 1 19 tür ve 1 alttürün Erzurum İlinde bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Bunlardan 96 tür ve 1 alttür, Erzurum İli için yeni kayıt durumundadır. Altıca oleracea (L), Longitarsus pellucidus (Foudras), Phllotreta aftra(Fabricius), Ph. nigripes (Fabricius) ve Ph. undulata Kutschera, Erzurum'da yoğun ve populasyonlan en yüksek olan türlerdir. Bunlardan, Ph. atra ve Ph. nigripes kolzada, Ph. undulata ise şalgam ve turpta önemli derecede zarar yapmaktadır. Longitarsus exoletus (Linnaeus) ve L. rufulus (Foudras), yörede önemli bir yabancı ot olan Anchusa orientalis üzerinde beslenerek, bir dereceye kadar bu bitkiyi baskı altında tutmaktadır. Altica oleracea (L), Longitarsus pellucidus (Foudras), Phllotreta atra (Fabricius), Ph. nigripes (Fabricius) and Ph. undulata Kutschera are the most abundant species in Erzurum province. Ph. atra and Ph. nigripes are pest of colza, Ph. undulata is a destructive pest of radish and turnip. Longitarsus exoletus (Linnaeus) and L. rufulus (Foudras) feed on Anchusa orientalis that is an important weed in some cultivated land in various localities. They a potantial agents in the biological control of this weed. 223

ÖZET Bu çalışma Erzurum ve ilçelerinden toplanan Chrysomelinae ve Clytrinae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) türleri üzerinde yapılan faunistik ve sistematik bir araştırmadır. İncelenen türlerin Türkiye ve Dünyadaki yayılışları verilmiş taksonomik öneme sahip vücut kısımları çizilerek altfamilya, cins ve tür tanı anahtarları hazırlanmıştır. Erzurum ili Nitidulidae faunasını saptamaya yönelik olarak yapılan bu araştırma, 2009-2010 yıllarında sürdürülmüştür. Ayrıca, daha önceki yıllarda Erzurum merkez ve ilçelerinden toplanmış ve Atatürk Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bitki Koruma Bölümü'ndeki Entomoloji Müzesi (EMET)' nde muhafaza edilen materyal de değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, Meligethinae altfamilyasından 12 cinse bağlı 24 tür, Carpophilinae altfamilyasından 1 cinse bağlı 1 tür olmak üzere, toplam iki altfamilyaya bağlı 13 cins ve 25 tür tespit edilmiştir. Bu türlerden, Brassicogethes aeneus (Fabricius 1775), B. coracinus (Sturm 1845), B. viridescens (Fabricius 1787), Clypeogethes lepidii (Miller 1851), Fabogethes nigrescens (Stephens 1830) ve Meligethes diversus (Schilsky 1893) türlerinin çalışma alanındaki en yoğun ve yaygın türler oldukları bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, Sagittogethes ater (C. Brisout de Barneville 1863), Stachygethes ruficornis (Marsham 1802) ve Xerogethes kraatzi (Reitter 1871) türleri ise Erzurum faunası için yeni kayıttır. Separately, Sagittogethes ater (C. Brisout de Barneville 1863), Stachygethes ruficornis (Marsham 1802) and Xerogethes kraatzi (Reitter 1871) are new records for the Erzurum fauna. In addition, distributions in Turkey and on the world, keys of subfamily and genus, short taxonomic characters belonging to each species, the number of the specimens and locality records for each species investigated were also given. 60

Dr. İrfan ASLAN Bu araştırma, İzmir İli'ne bağlı Seferihisar, Narlıdere ve Ürkmez ilçelerindeki Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera) familyası türleri üzerinde yapılan faunistik ve sistematik bir çalışmadır. Araştırma sonucunda, Chrysomelidae familyası içerisinde 5 altfamilya, 12 cins ve bu cinslere ait 16 tür tespit edilmiştir. Bu türlerden Sphaeroderma rııbidum Graells, Chrysolina americcma L. ve Colaphdlus sophiae Schaller türlerinin bu yörede oldukça yaygın olduğu ve Sphaeroderma rııbidum Graells erginlerinin Cynara scolymııs L. (Enginar) bitkisi üzerinde beslenerek önemli derecede zarar yaptığı gözlenmiştir. Prof. Dr. İrfan ASLAN This is a faunistic and systematic study on Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera) in Seferihisar, Narlidere and Ürkmez districts of İzmir province. The material was collected during the summers of localities of above mentioned towns 2002 and 2003. Sixteen species in 12 genera, in 5 subfamilies are recorded. Of wich, Sphaeroderma rubidum Graells, Chysolina americana L. and Colaphdhts sophiae Schaller species were found to be very widespread in this region. Sphaeroderma rubidum Graells causes important damage to leaves of Cynara scolymııs L. (Artichoke). Important taxonomic characters of each species are indicated, keys to the genera and species are prepared. Body parts having taxonomic importance are drawn. Dr. İrfan ASLAN Bu araştırma, 2000-2002 yıllarında Erzurum merkez ve çevre ilçelerden toplanan ve daha önceki yıllarda toplanmış ve Bitki Koruma Bölümü, Entomoloji Müzesi'nde muhafaza edilen Harpalinae (Coleoptera, Carabidae) ahfâmilyasının Harpalini tribüsüne giren türler üzerinde yapılan faunistik ve sistematik bir çalışmadır. Araştırma sonucunda, Harpalini tribüsünden altı cinse ait 18 tür ve alttür tespit edilmiştir. The material was collected from various localities of Erzurum province during 2000- 2002. Some of the material that has been collected previously in the Museum of Plant Protection Department was also included. This study contributes 6 genera and 18 species and subspecies in the tribe Harpalini. Among them, Harpalus amis subcylindricits Dejean is new record for the Turkish fauna.
