Flexible and stretchable supercapacitors developed on MXene‐enabled Titanium Carbide (TiC) impurities‐based electrodes with novel electrolytes are the point of focus in this work. Five different electrodes are prepared with different TiC content and symmetric supercapacitors are fabricated with three electrolytes named acrylamide, N,N′‐Dimethylacrylamide, and 2‐Hydroxyethyl methacrylate to achieve flexibility and improved energy storage. Before electrode fabrication, all the samples are tested with the X‐ray Diffraction technique. Cyclic voltammetry is performed at a potential window from −1 to 1 V to evaluate the specific capacitance of fabricated supercapacitors at multiple scan rates. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is performed to study the Randles circuit, and Rs values are calculated to examine the maximum physical area used for the evaluation of supercapacitors. Open‐circuit and short‐circuit tests are performed after charging the capacitor at 1 V for 2 min each time and compatibility of electrodes with different electrolytes is analyzed. The figures of merits for all the techniques used are discussed in detail. The highest values of the specific capacitances reported in our work are 50 and 79 F/g with novel electrolytes termed as N,N′‐Dimethylacrylamide and 2‐Hydroxyethyl methacrylate, respectively. Water is a necessity for life but the increase in industrialisation has significantly degraded the quality of water. Almost a hundred tons of dyes are becoming a part of the hydrosphere each year as a result of anthropogenic activities causing ecological disturbance and aesthetic pollution. So, there is a dire need for an eco-friendly technique to remove these dyes from wastewater without putting much pressure on the environment. Research work presented here targeted the green synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticles using vegetable waste (radish leaves) and characterised by FTIR, XRD, and SEM. TiO2 nanoparticles were then used along with sunlight, AlCl3, AgCl, H2O2, and UV light in a hybrid catalytic system to decolourise Yellow Merl. Thereafter the optimisation of various operational parameters to enhance decolourisation efficiency measured by UV-vis. spectrophotometer was carried out. By using biogenic TiO2 nanoparticles with hydrogen peroxide 93% of Yellow Merl was efficiently decolourised under optimised conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background/aim: To evaluate diagnostic accuracy of abdominal ultrasound in children with suspected intussusception keeping surgical findings as gold standard. Materials and methods: The cross-sectional analytical study was done to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of abdominal ultrasound in 54 children with complete medical record who visited Radiology department Mukhtar A. Sheikh Hospital, Multan between September 2021 to May 2022. Those children who had features suggestive of intussusception were included in this study. The sensitivity, specificity, negative and positive predictive value of ultrasound were calculated. Results: Sonographically, 41(75.9%) were diagnosed as having intussusception and 13(4.1%) were not having the disease. From the total of 54 patients 49(90.7%) were having intussusception on surgery and in 5(9.3%) it was not present. So, the sensitivity and specificity of ultrasound were 81.6% and 80% respectively, Negative and positive predictive values were 30.8% and 97.6% respectively. Diagnostic accuracy of ultrasound was 81.5%.Conclusion: It is concluded that ultrasonography is sensitive and reliable for identifying intussusception due to high values of specificity, sensitivity, negative and positive predictive values. To discuss metformin and iv-contrast induced acute renal failure with its reported cases worldwide, associated risk factors and precautions that can be taken to reduce this tragedy & to address this sensitive issue to my technologist family working in clinical situations. As these studies were observational studies and just report contrast induced nephrotoxicity in different countries by analyzing patients data; By Personal experience or by analyzing data available on PACS (Picture archiving and communication system) most commonly available in Hospitals now a days, that is why these studies did not use any scientific procedure. In our study, we collected opinions of Senior Doctors about use of Metformin before and after contrast study. All Doctors were agreed upon investigation of serum creatinine before contrast study. Doctors were not agreed on single opinion but surely they agreed on stop of Metformin before and after procedure. They said its responsibility of imaging technologist or Radiologist to guide patient about this problem.
