El treball pretén demostrar com diverses dones artistes, versionant peces d'art creades per homes, tendeixen aplicar una perspectiva feminista i per tant no fal·locèntrica, aconseguint canviar, radicalment, les temàtiques i els significats. Les versions que s'examinen es construeixen sobre un discurs crític que posa en relleu una realitat generalment no contemplada, però no menys significativa, la de l'existència de les dones artistes. Així doncs, es pretén crear un recorregut sobre aquestes versions i es procurarà ajudar a la seva visibilització. És interessant veure les diverses estètiques que aquest art presenta i com s'han desenvolupat les diferents formes de pensament que qüestionen l’status quo
