Models of the stock market often focus on predicting the direction of the stock market. Instead of following this approach, we created a model to predict the daily absolute percent change of the S&P 500. An accurate model of this metric would greatly increase profitability of option trading strategies such as straddles and iron condors. In this project, novel features were created based on historical data and fed to machine learning algorithms such as Decision Trees, Rule Based Classifiers, K-mean Clusters, and Kernels. The main objective of this article on Wireless sensor network of the Internet of Things (IoT). The wireless network, B bluetooth network, infrared network, and other networks are the key components of the Internet of Things (IoT). The major emphasis of this work was on the impact of Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivative on worm propagation in heterogeneous susceptible-exposed-infected-recovered wireless IoT devices. We first determined the equilibrium points and fundamental reproduction number for the Caputo-Fabrizio HSEIR system, and then we discussed the stability of the system at the worm propagation equilibrium point. Using the Picard-Lindeof method, we determine the existence and unique solution for the fractional CF system of the heterogeneous SEIR model. Next, we use fixed point theory to judge the stability of the iterative method. We investigate the impact of the derivative order on the behaviour of the resultant functions and acquired numerical values by computing the model's findings for various fractional orders. In addition, we compute the integer-order model's results and contrast them with the results of the fractional-order model. We develop a periodically intermittent controller driven by white noise with the amazing benefits of reduced cost and more adaptable control technique to restrict the spread of worms in wireless IoT networks. To clearly define the conditions for stability in probability one, we employ the stochastic analysis technique. Our results show that the nonlinear worm propagation system may be stabilised by intermittent stochastic perturbation under the parameters of intermittent time linked to stochastic perturbation strength. Our theoretical conclusions may be used to analyse the observable processes of the worm, design countermeasures to prevent its spread, and evaluate the consequences of various system parameters.

In this work, uranium(VI) sorption from aqueous sulphate medium using tri-n-octylamine impregnated Siplite LX-16 resin has been investigated using batch experiments. The sorption parameters including aqueous pH, initial U(VI) concentration, aqueous solution volume to impregnated resin weight (v/w) ratio, contact time and the sorption temperature have been studied. The experimental data have been examined by both equilibrium isotherms and kinetic sorption models. It was found that, the sorption process of U(VI) onto the working resin follows both Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms and quite agrees with the pseudo-second order and intraparticle diffusion models. Obesity is a risk factor for several chronic diseases, including type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. Developing models of obesity and its complications allows for close monitoring of these epidemics, informing the creation of effective control strategies. This research focuses on presenting an endemic model of obesity and its health complications, taking into account, social factors and relationships among people in society. The term epidemic is related to the influence of the health lifestyle of obese people on healthy individuals. The transmission of obesity and its complications is through peer pressure to consume fast food and acquire bad eating habits from relatives and friends. So, in our model, the effect of these factors is expressed with parameters [Formula: see text]. We demonstrate theoretically the asymptotic local stability of disease-free equilibrium and the asymptotic local stability of endemic equilibrium, proving the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the obesity model and its complications. To confirm the model's theoretical results, we conduct numerical simulations to study the impact of variation in social factor parameters on the diseases studied.

The article assesses the effectiveness of the RK-Fehlberg scheme by comparing its results with exact solutions, using thorough analysis and well-supported examples. This comparison analysis highlights the potential of the method to provide more accuracy compared to classic methods like Euler, improved, or modified schemes. The article demonstrates the strength and effectiveness of the method by using numerical examples. This not only helps improve computational techniques for solving fuzzy hybrid systems but also highlights the wide range of applications and reliability of the Runge–Kutta Fehlberg method in mathematical modeling and analysis.

We investigate mathematical models of the Hepatitis B and C viruses in the study, considering vaccination effects into account. By utilising fractional and ordinary differential equations, we prove the existence of equilibrium and the well-posedness of the solution. We prove worldwide stability with respect to the fundamental reproduction number. Our numerical techniques highlight the biological relevance and highlight the effect of fractional derivatives on temporal behaviour. We illustrate the relationships among susceptible, immunised, and infected populations in our epidemiological model. Using comprehensive numerical simulations, we analyse the effects of fractional derivatives and highlight solution behaviours. Subsequent investigations will examine the impact of regional heterogeneity, providing significant perspectives for epidemiological research.

This article will discuss the position and application of Islamic family law in countries with Muslim minority populations, particularly in Singapore. In every Muslim community in the world, no one denies the existence of Islamic law with its universal character of application. The universality of the application of Islamic law requires the submission of all Muslims to the teachings of Islam, will not see the time and place not to implement its provisions, and also requires the existence of universal values contained in branch laws that may differ from one place to another. That is why Muslims in Islamic countries and countries where the majority of the population is Muslim have relatively no problems with the application of Islamic law in everyday life because Islam upholds religious tolerance. The above reality will undoubtedly be different if Islamic law develops among Muslims, who are a minority in secular countries, namely countries with a government system that separates religion as a private matter.

Recent changes in climate have reduced crop productivity throughout much of the world. Drought and heat stress, particularly in arid and semi‐arid regions, have seriously affected barley production.This study explored the separate and interactive effects of silicon (Si) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S) on plant growth and mitigation of the adverse effects of heat stress (DS) and drought stress (HS) in a barley pot experiment.The impacts of simultaneous DS + HS were more severe than individual stresses due to increased ROS production, malondialdehyde (MDA) content and higher electrolyte leakage (EL), thereby leading to reduced water, protein and photosynthetic pigment content. Exogenously applied Si and H2S alleviated the DS‐, HS‐ and DS + HS‐induced effects on barley by reducing ROS production, MDA and EL. A single application of H2S or Si + H2S increased plant biomass under all stress conditions, which can be ascribed to higher Si accumulation in barley shoots. A single application of Si or H2S significantly increased plant biomass. However, Si + H2S was the most effective treatment for metabolite accumulation and elevating activity of antioxidant enzymes to prevent toxicity from oxidative stress. This treatment also modulated osmolyte content, enhanced antioxidant activity and regulated the stress signalling‐related endogenous hormones, abscisic acid (ABA) and indole acetic acid (IAA).Exogenous treatments regulated endogenous H2S and Si and resulted in higher tolerance to individual and combined drought and heat stress in barley. Islamisation in the Indonesian archipelago has been ongoing for centuries. Islam emerged as an influential force in the history of the archipelago. The entry of Islam into Indonesia, a country diverse in culture, led to culture and religion being closely linked. In the Angkola Batak tradition, ancestors' teachings remained embedded in everyday life until after the arrival of Islam, when acculturation and interrelationships took place between Islamic culture and religion. This study uses a qualitative research method, with a library research approach focusing on the acculturation of Sinamot (dowry) culture in the Batak Angkola community of South Tapanuli. The study findings cover three aspects of the topic. First, the social condition of the Angkola Batak community, which adheres to the dalihan na tolu social structure as a benchmark for communicating, acting, and resolving social problems. Second, the interrelationship between customs and Islam in the Sinamot tradition (one of the series in Angkola Batak marriages) in determining the amount of Sinamot is attended by the nuclear family from both parties to resolve the specified amount. Finally, it was discovered that there were changes in the banquets in the deliberation, such as abandoning forms prohibited in Islamic teachings, such as those involving the consumption of pork and palm wine, and also changes in the Sinamot tradition in the marriages of the Angkola Batak community due to several factors, including changes resulting from the move from traditional to modern times, and the wishes of the Batak Angkola community to familiarise themselves with and keep up with the times. The introduction of Islam provided a systematic and logical variation, allowing society to easily accept it at wedding ceremonies.

The salinisation of freshwater resources is a priority concern in Asian mega-deltas including the Bengal Basin of Bangladesh where the livelihoods, ecosystem services and health of coastal populations are increasingly under threat. Understanding trends and variations in surface water salinity is required to inform sustainable use of freshwater supplies in the face of hydrological regimes intensified by global environmental change. We interrogate 86 time series of fortnightly records of in situ surface water salinity between 1990 and 2019. Statistical and geospatial techniques were employed to characterise spatiotemporal distributions and trends in surface water salinity and identify key drivers of change in the coastal region of Bangladesh. The observed spatiotemporal structure in surface water salinity is primarily controlled by the magnitude and seasonality of river discharge entering the delta. In the moribund delta north of the Sundarbans, the contour between fresh and brackish water migrates seasonally between ~20 and ~40 km northward during the dry season. Abrupt increases in surface water salinity are observed throughout the coastal region in response to variations in upstream river discharge; the prominence of these events highlights their importance in driving salinity increases. Areas which are better connected to more voluminous seasonal river discharge (active delta), show greater recovery to these episodic inundations by cyclones than those less-well flushed by river discharge (moribund delta). Our reported observations provide a baseline for understanding the consequences of global environmental change and informing more climate-resilient adaptation strategies in coastal environments of Bangladesh and other Asian mega-deltas.

Maintaining the content quality on social media Q&A platforms is pivotal for user attraction and retention. Automating post quality assessment offers benefits such as reduced moderator workload, amplified community impact, enhanced expert user recognition, and importance to expert feedback. While existing approaches for post quality mainly employ binary classification, they often lack optimal feature selection. Our research introduces an automated system that categorizes features into textual, readability, format, and community dimensions. This system integrates 20 features belonging to the aforementioned categories, with a hybrid convolutional neural network–long short-term memory deep learning model for multi-class classification. Evaluation against baseline models and state-of-the-art methods demonstrates our system’s superiority, achieving a remarkable 21–23% accuracy enhancement. Furthermore, our system produced better results in terms of other metrics such as precision, recall, and F1 score.

This scholarly article examines the judgments rendered by Religious Courts concerning disputes related to the revocation of grants, employing the viewpoint of Islamic jurisprudence and the maslahah theory. In this instance, the judicial panel overseeing the dispute related to the cancellation of the grant primarily invoked the provisions outlined in Article 35, Paragraph 1, and Article 36, Paragraph 1 of the Marriage Act (Law Number 1 of 1974), which pertain to joint property, along with Article 1338 of the Civil Code, addressing agreements. Consequently, the judges disregarded the article pertaining to the right to withdraw the grant’s subject, even though the grant is given without the consent of the other heirs. Meanwhile, in accordance with the maslahah theory, decisions rendered by a panel of judges in the Religious Court ideally aim to actualize the concept of Maqasid al-Shari’ah, specifically focused on the preservation of both property and descendants. This approach helps mitigate adverse consequences that may arise within familial dynamics, particularly in relationships between parents and their heirs. Nevertheless, in accordance with Hans Kelsen’s justice theory, the deliberations undertaken by judges when adjudicating cases involving the revocation of grants often exhibit inconsistency in the application of the pertinent legal framework, thereby leading to a partial realization of the intended concept of justice.

This article talks about the practice of Islamic family law in the Muslim world; Türkiye, Pakistan, and Indonesia which focus on polygamy and divorce. Talking about polygamy and divorce must be familiar to many people because polygamy is a very sensitive scourge when someone does that. Likewise, with divorce, this kind of thing becomes the subject of gossip in society when a family gets divorced. This paper will explain how family law is in the Muslim world, especially Turkey, Pakistan, and Indonesia with the main study of polygamy and divorce which aims to understand the understanding of society from all walks of life regarding the discussions between the two. This research is a literature study that focuses on discussing polygamy and divorce in three Muslim countries; Türkiye, Pakistan, and Indonesia. The data collection method in this study used documentation, namely collecting books, notes, and others that had relevance to the research, which were then analyzed. The results of this study are; (1) Turkey prohibits polygamy, which is contained in the book of the Ottoman Law of Family Rights, Pakistan also prohibits polygamy until written permission from the wife and the arbitral council, Indonesia legalizes polygamy referring to the Marriage Law. (2) Turkey in the event that a divorce ends with the finalization of a court decision and a waiting period of 300 days stipulated by the Turkish Civil Code, likewise Pakistan regulates divorce in two different rules, one using the Dissolution of Muslim Marriage and the other using Muslim Family Law Ordinance, divorce in Indonesia is regulated in Marriage Law Number 1 of 1974.

The strong ethnopharmacological utilization of Isodon rugosus Wall. Ex. Benth is evident in the treatment of several types of pain and inflammation, including toothache, earache, abdominal pain, gastric pain, and generalized body pain and inflammation. Based on this background, the antinociceptive effects of the crude extract, various fractions, and essential oil have been reported previously. In this research work, we isolate and characterize pure bioactive compounds from I. rugosus and evaluate possible mechanisms using various in vivo and in vitro models. The pure compounds were analyzed for analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities through various assays. The column chromatography of the chloroform fraction of I. rugosus led to the identification of two pure compounds, i.e., 1 and 2. Compound 1 demonstrated notable inhibition (62% writhing inhibition, 72.77% COX-2 inhibition, and 76.97% 5-LOX inhibition) and anti-inflammatory potential (>50% paw edema inhibition at various intervals). The possible mechanism involved in antinociception was considered primarily, a concept that has already been elucidated through the application of naloxone (an antagonist of opioid receptors). The involvement of adrenergic receptors was investigated using a hot plate model (an adrenergic receptor antagonist). The strong ethnomedicinal analgesic background of I. rugosus, supported by previous reports and current observations, leads to the conclusion that I. rugosus is a potential source of antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory bioactive compounds. It may be concluded from the results that the isolated analgesic compounds of I. rugosus may be a possible alternative remedy for pain and inflammation management with admirable efficacy and safety profiles.

This research concerned with a new formulation of a spatial predator-prey model with Leslie-Gower and Holling type II schemes in the presence of prey social behavior. The aim interest here is to distinguish the influence of Leslie-Gower term on the spatiotemporal behavior of the model. Interesting results are obtained as Hopf bifurcation, Turing bifurcation and Turing-Hopf bifurcation. A rigorous mathematical analysis shows that the presence of Leslie-Gower can induce Turing pattern, which shows that this kind of interaction is very important in modeling different natural phenomena. The direction of Turing-Hopf bifurcation is studied with the help of the normal form. The obtained results are tested numerically.

A chemostat is a laboratory device (of the bioreactor type) in which organisms (bacteria, phytoplankton) develop in a controlled manner. This paper studies the asymptotic properties of a chemostat model with generalized interference function and Poisson noise. Due to the complexity of abrupt and erratic fluctuations, we consider the effect of the second order Itô-Lévy processes. The dynamics of our perturbed system are determined by the value of the threshold parameter $ \mathfrak{C}^{\star}_0 $. If $ \mathfrak {C}^{\star}_0 $ is strictly positive, the stationarity and ergodicity properties of our model are verified (practical scenario). If $ \mathfrak {C}^{\star}_0 $ is strictly negative, the considered and modeled microorganism will disappear in an exponential manner. This research provides a comprehensive overview of the chemostat interaction under general assumptions that can be applied to various models in biology and ecology. In order to verify the reliability of our results, we probe the case of industrial waste-water treatment. It is concluded that higher order jumps possess a negative influence on the long-term behavior of microorganisms in the sense that they lead to complete extinction.
