The problem of the change point detection in a sequence of random variables is considered. The task arises in control of technological processes, particularly, in oil and gas production management. Some equipment parameters are to be controlled in order to detect a change of the equipment characteristics and, consequently, a breakdown of its technological regime. As a rule, the data observed are stochastic with the unknown distribution. In the paper a non-parametric method for detection a change in the mean or in the variance of data is developed and some modifications are proposed. All the algorithms do not use the information concerning the distribution function of observations before and after the change point. The algorithms are applied to detect change points of the characteristics of a gas well.

The paper discusses problems of representing information about production assets in databases of information systems in tasks of assets registration and recording. Main approaches of representing asset registration data in a relational database are considered. An improved approach based on inheritance implementation is proposed. Its advantage is good enough flexibility, good performance and reach security. Appraisal information about implementation of proposed solutions in some oil-and-gas enterprises of Western Siberia is given.

The necessity of data interoperability is very important for the oil and gas enterprise environment. Different information systems and applications cover the range of the IT infrastructure and need to interoperate. Most of the industrial companies do not have common rational strategy for their automation. That leads to the lack of integration between purchased and implemented software that is necessary for various departments. Integration problems prevent companies from building common information space. An instrumental platform for oil and gas enterprise data integration has been considered as the problem solution. The proposed platform combines Service-Oriented Architecture principles and Model-Driven Approach and uses branch standard PRODML as a model for object mapping.

Up-to-date trend in industrial automation is implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) everywhere and in oil and gas industry. Conception of MES is constantly in progress. Many researches suppose that analytical features, available for low-end users (engineers, dispatchers, geologists, etc.) are necessary in manufacturing management, but today there is no ready-to-use framework applicable to make intelligent manufacturing systems for oil and gas industry. A model-driven approach of MES intellectualization and an original iMES framework proposed. iMES based on functions of the traditional MES (within MESA-11 model), business intelligence (BI)-methods (On-Line Analytical Processing & Data Mining) and production markup language (industrial data standard for oil and gas production). Case study of well tests results validation using iMES framework is considered.

The need for interoperability is prominent in the industrial enterprise environment. Different information systems and applications that cover the overall range of the industrial infrastructure from the field to the enterprise level need to interoperate. This quest is driven by the enterprise need for greater flexibility. A great number of systems and applications exist in the enterprise industrial environment cover the Computer Integrated Manufacturing model. This model comprises three different levers: the field lever, the plant level and the enterprise level. The field level comprises the applications that are associated with the industrial manufacturing processes. At these levels the industrial field level equipment, such as sensors, and the industrial controllers, such as programmable logic controllers and numeric controllers, are interconnected. The plant and enterprise levels cover applications that are characterized as upper layer applications. The information systems of the enterprise need to interconnect at the level of a plant. Applications supported are for instance enterprise resource planning, order handling or warehouse management. Nowadays most of oil & gas companies have highly developed IT infrastructure helping performing main business tasks. However these companies don't have common rational strategy of their automation. That leads to the lack of integration between purchased software products necessary for various departments. Integration problems are an obstacle to build the company's unified information space. A technology of oil & gas company data integration and tools developed are considered. The proposed technology of integration combines SOA and Model-Driven approaches using branch standard PRODML as a metamodel. The positive moment of this technology: it does not demand company IT structure reorganization and can be implemented step-by-step, when integration tasks appear; it allows accelerating and simplifying information systems and applications integration considerably, also it provides successful information systems progress in the process of oil & gas company improvement.

Today's trend in automation of the large industrial enterprises is gradual filling of intermediate layer between low level systems of automation (management information systems of technological process) and control systems of the enterprise on the basis of ERP and BI. Traditionally MES which users are, first of all, engineers and analysts of the main experts here apply for a link role. The overwhelming majority of the systems presented today in the market, have a narrow branch orientation. It is caused by complexity of balance between the flexibility of architectural and interface decisions necessary for expansion of systems, and convenience to the user, wishing to have the simple tool of the decision of the daily problems. Design and implementation of such systems is interfaced to a number of serious problems, as characteristic for working out of the big distributed information systems, and specific for MES. An experience of solving such problems on example of MES “Magistral-Vostok” by Tomsk polytechnical university is considered.

While solving a variety of problems of the geographic networks (GN) management by means of GIS there is an objective necessity of the representation of the extended information about the GN structure. For the purpose of effectively storing and operating such type of information, it is necessary that this ability should be put into the base of the GIS data model. This paper offers new approach to the creation of the integrated data model of the GIS for GN management that enables to describe the GN structure on the base of the extended set of binary relations between the network's objects. The different aspects of the model applications in the development of industrial GIS for GN management are considered.

We consider both principles of designing production management systems of oil-and-gas holding companies and their application while developing the corporative geoinformation system of "VostokGazProm" holding company.
