Straipsnis skirtas svarbiai tarpukario Lietuvos estetinės minties temai – dailės proceso ir ideologijos ryšiui. Nagrinėjama marksistine meno klasinės prigimties teorija besivadovavusių meno kritikų meno socialinio determinuotumo samprata, siekiama atskleisti jos, kaip dailės kritikos metodologinio atspirties taško, vaidmenį. Išryškinami realizmo / modernizmo priešstatos padariniai vertinant lietuvių dailės procesą ir raidos kryptį. The topic of the article is the interconnection between processes of the fine arts and the ideologies. This issue was of great importance to the aesthetic thought of the interwar Lithuania. The author analyses the views on the social determination of arts that have been declared by art critics, who represented the political left, and derived their outlooks from the Marxian theory of a class-based nature of the arts. The article is an attempt to reveal the role, which the art criticism, based on the methodological approach of social determination, played in the process of valuation of the Lithuanian fine arts. The author concludes that while the social criticism called for the engagement of the fine arts, this requirement supposed contraposition of realism to modernism. Keeping in mind the context of the young generation of Lithuanian artists – representatives of lyrical expressionism – that succeeded in their aspirations to create national art, this contraposition is a clear evidence of methodological weakness of leftist art criticism.

Straipsnyje keliamas pagrindinis probleminis klausimas yra susijęs su vietos bendruomenės sąvokos konceptualizavimu, diskutuojant, ar šiuolaikinė vietos bendruomenė suvokiama tik kaip socialinių paslaugų teikėjas, ar ji gali tapti viešąja erdve, skatinančia pilietinį dalyvavimą, siekiant bendruomenės gyvenamojoje vietoje įgyvendinti viešuosius interesus. Straipsnyje analizuojamas institucinių partnerysčių kūrimo vietos bendruomenėse klausimas, siekiant užmegzti ir palaikyti neformalius kontaktus tarp pilietinio sektoriaus, verslo ir valdžios institucijų, skatinti sektorių bendradarbiavimą, taip pabrėžiant ir vietos valdymo problematiką. Sociologine prasme, šis procesas taip pat siejamas su didėjančiu pilietiniu sąmoningumu, subsidarumo principo įgyvendinimu ir vietos iniciatyvų aktyvinimu, atstovavimu vietos interesams bei siekiu remiantis partneryste bendradarbiauti su verslu bei valdžia. Vietos bendruomenė straipsnyje analizuojama kaip struktūra socialinių ryšių, kurie nebūtinai formuojasi remiantis bendrais įsitikinimais, vertybėmis arba lojalumu bendruomenei. Pagrindiniu motyvu formuojant partnerystės tinklus vietos bendruomenėje tampa bendras viešojo intereso suvokimas ir siekis jį įgyvendinti. Remiantis vietos bendruomenės atvejo tyrimo rezultatais analizuojamos partnerystės ir vietos bendruomenės veikėjų, susijusių su problemos tinklu, bendradarbiavimo strategijos ir taktikos, įgyvendinant kolektyvinius interesus bei siekiant apginti viešąjį interesą. Nemažai dėmesio skiriama vietos institucijų dalyvavimo galimybių ir pilietinių iniciatyvų problematikos aspektams The article discusses the changing nature of local communities in terms of formation of interorganizational partnerships. The central argument of this article that while modern local communities can be construed as providers of social services, they could also become an advantageous tool for the implementation of collective public interests and encouragement of civic participation. Theoretical considerations concerning the local community as a network of social relationships are illustrated by data from a case study. Empirical conclusions reveal problems of existing institutional mechanisms for local initiatives to participate in local decisions
