This work investigates removing the Malachite Green (MG) dye, the poly acrylic hydrogel beads used as a surface to adsorb the dye, the isotherm of adsorption was examined and aspects that influence it, like increasing heat, adding salt, the influence of dry beads and effect of shaking. according to the results, the effect of the adsorption has been found that it is matched to the Friendlish equation much more than Langmuir and Temkin equations. A positive relationship between the adsorption process and the increase in temperature is found that adsorption increases when the temperature increase. Also, the adsorption increased when the salt was added at a temperature (of 20 C0). As that the adsorption doesn’t budge by adding either dry or wet beads of poly acrylic. The thermodynamic function was calculated (ΔH, ΔS, ΔG). The kinetic parameters were examined by the Lagergren equation to first order, for second-order equations either, according to the results of experimental data showing us that the adsorption obeys the pseudo-second order more than the first-order.

Diphenhydramine antagonizes poisoning produced by cholinesterase (ChE) inhibiting insecticides. This study examines the effects of diphenhydramine against acute poisoning induced by the carbamate insecticide carbaryl in a chick model. The effects of diphenhydramine on the 24 h median Lethal Dose (LD50), and acute toxicity of carbaryl were assessed in chicks (7-15 days old). The plasma and whole brain ChE activities were measured electrometrically in vitro and in vivo. Diphenhydramine at 10mg/Kg Body wt. administered intramuscularly 15 min before carbaryl dosing increased the oral LD50 value of carbaryl (207 mg/Kg Body wt.) by 62%. Carbaryl at 250 mg/Kg Body wt. has orally produced toxidrome of cholinergic poisoning with 100% lethality in 24 h. Diphenhydramine (10mg/ Kg Body wt.) used 15 min before carbaryl (250mg/Kg Body wt., orally) was the most effective dose (vs 5 and 20mg/Kg Body wt.) in delaying carbaryl-toxicity and increasing survivals in chicks. The intramuscular median effective dose (ED50) of diphenhydramine which prevented 24 h carbaryl-death in chicks was 8.6mg/ Kg Body wt. The antidotal response to diphenhydramine was similar to that of the standard antidote atropine sulfate. Diphenhydramine at 10mg/Kg Body wt., given immediately after carbaryl (200mg/Kg Body wt.), reduced the percentages of plasma and whole brain ChE inhibitions in vivo by 12- and 13%, respectively. Carbaryl (10μmol/L) in vitro inhibited ChE activities in the plasma and brain by 53 and 77%, respectively; these inhibitions were reduced by 13- and 14%, respectively, when diphenhydramine (10μmol/L) was added to in vitro reactions. Diphenhydramine exerted antidotal action against a model of acute and lethal carbaryl intoxication in chicks.

This research seeks to shed light on the legal violations related to media laws and regulations that are committed in talk shows, and the extent of the commitment of the communicator and the guests in their dialogues and the audience interfering with them, in order to reveal the violators and their motives and the topics that helped commit the violations, and to identify the types of violations. The research problem is summed up in the existence of a new media reality after 2003, as well as the complexity of the political, security, social and economic scene in Iraq, which was reflected on the nature of dialogue in television talk shows. , may affect as a whole, and in one way or another, the civil peace within the society. This study derives its importance from the impact of the legal violations committed in the talk shows, from its various aspects, and the subtle overlap between freedom of opinion and criticism in the talk shows, and the legal violations of legislation that deal with violations in satellite channels, whose danger to the media and society is evident.

Plasma and erythrocyte cholinesterase (ChE) activities of male farm workers exposed to pesticides during their routine work were lower than those of unexposed control subjects by 14 and 4%, respectively. Diphenhydramine and Carbaryl inhibited plasma and erythrocyte ChE activities in vitro in pesticide-exposed and unexposed subjects. The percentages of in vitro ChE inhibition induced by carbaryl in the plasma and erythrocytes of unexposed controls ranged between 47-85% and 19-47%, respectively, whereas they were 35-60% and 3-12% in the pesticide-exposed group, respectively. In vitro pretreatment of plasma and erythrocyte ChE with diphenhydramine (20 μM) significantly reduced the inhibitory effect of carbaryl (10 μM) on them by 18% and 10%, respectively. In conclusion, subjects exposed to pesticides during their routine work in agriculture are at risk of reduced blood ChE activity. Diphenhydramine appeared to partially protect blood ChE in vitro from additional carbaryl-induced enzyme inhibition in both pesticide-exposed and unexposed subjects.

هدف البحث الى معرفة اثر استراتيجية مقترحة في التفكير على التحصيل والتفكير الاستنتاجي لدى طلبة الصف الأول المتوسط في مادة الرياضيات .ولتحقيق الهدف وضعت الفرضيتان الصفريتان الاتيتان : لا يوجد فرق ذو دلاله إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (05) بين متوسطي درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية الذين يدرسون وفقا للاستراتيجية المقترحة ودرجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة الذين يدرسون وفقا الطريقة المعتادة في اختبار التحصيل لمادة الرياضيات. لا يوجد فرق ذو دلاله إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (05) بين متوسطي درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية الذين يدرسون وفقا لاستراتيجية مقترحة ودرجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة الذين سيدرسون وفقا للطريقة المعتادة في اختبار التفكير الاستنتاجي . اختيرت عينة البحث من طلاب الصف الاول المتوسط في متوسطة معاذ بن جبل للبنين التابعة للمديرية العامة لتربية بغداد /الكرخ الثانية للفصل الدراسي الثاني (الكورس الثاني) للعام ( 2015-2016) م. وتكونت من (57) طالبا، وبالتعيين العشوائي اختيرت شعبة (ب) لتمثل المجموعة التجريبية بواقع(31)طالبا وشعبة(ج) لتمثل المجموعة الضابطة بواقع (26) طالبا. كوفئت المجموعتان في متغيرات (التحصيل السابق في مادة الرياضيات ،المعرفة الرياضياتية السابقة ). أعد الباحث (40) خطة تدريسية بواقع (20) وفق استراتيجية مقترحة في التفكير لطلاب المجموعة التجريبية ونفس العدد على وفق الطريقة المعتادة لطلاب المجموعة الضابطة، ولقياس تحصيل الطلاب أعد الباحث اختباراً تألف من( 30) فقرة اختبارية من نوع الاختيار من متعدد بأربعة بدائل ولقياس التفكير الاستنتاجي اعد الباحث اختبارا تالف من( 30) فقرة اختبارية من نوع الاختيار من متعدد بأربعة بدائل ولمعالجة البيانات احصائيا استخدم البرنامج الإحصائي SPSS الإصدار 13 لاستخراج قيم( t-test لعينتين مستقلتين ،معادلة كيودر ريتشاردسون-21 ومعادلة كلاس لحساب حجم الاثر)، وأظهرت النتائج ما يأتي :- يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية الذين درسوا على وفق الاستراتيجية المقترحة ودرجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة الذين درسوا على وفق الطريقة المعتادة في الاختبار التحصيلي ، ولصالح طلاب المجموعة التجريبية. يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية الذين درسوا على وفق الاستراتيجية المقترحة ودرجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة الذين درسوا على وفق الطريقة المعتادة في اختبار التفكير الاستنتاجي ، ولصالح طلاب المجموعة التجريبية. وفي ضوء نتائج البحث قدمت عددا من الاستنتاجات و صياغة عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات المناسبة .

The current study aims to examine the role played by strategic leaders in adopting the patterns of strategic renewal and all that is characterized by modernity to upgrade Iraqi educational organizations, diagnose defects and shortcomings and provide solutions. What is acceptable today is not to be acceptable tomorrow, as the most important feature that characterizes the world today is change. A successful organization is the one that has the ability to present and keep pace with everything that is new. Whenever the organization succeeds in that and accelerates the wheel of renewal it is to be capable to lead the competition it is in. Therefore, this study comes to identify the role of strategic leadership in supporting the speed of this wheel using the descriptive analytical method and adopts the deductive and inductive approach to reach the conclusions. The study comes out with a number of the most important conclusions which are that strategic leaders have a positive role in increasing the processes of strategic renewal in the research organization at the overall level, but it is not at the level required to support the radical renewal processes. The study also presents a set of proposals in light of these conclusions, the most important of which is the need to give the radical renewal processes a top priority by the strategic leaders in the organization under study, as it is one of the core duties of those leaders.

One of the worst kinds of skin cancer is called melanoma. Melanoma may be automatically diagnosed from dermoscopy images using image analysis algorithms, which involve segmenting lesions, basic processing, extracting dermoscopic characteristics, and identifying illnesses. The proposed skin lesion analysis method intends to enhance early melanoma detection to reduce mortality and wasteful biopsies. For classification of the ISIC archive dataset, we use the K-Means clustering algorithm and thresholding for lesion segmentation; the Sobel operator and the median filter for preprocessing; the GLCM and LBP features for feature extraction; and the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier. The obtained results achieved 93.28% accuracy. As well as transferring the clinical images to a dermatologist via a networking app (such as WhatsApp) for examination at a separate time and place to follow up on patients during the presence of the pandemic or those who live in remote areas.

The study aims to determine the impact of adopting the Blue Ocean strategy in supporting the provision of revolutionary products in Apple. The problem of the study is that revolutionary products as a practical alternative to eliminate the intense competition between organizations (even if it is in the short term) can only be achieved through the formulation and adoption of a comprehensive and integrated strategy by senior management, such as the Blue Ocean Strategy,The study adopted a default scheme in which it defined its hypotheses to achieve its objectives and used the descriptive and analytical approach to achieve the results, The questionnaire was key tool in collecting data and information on the field side of the study, Apple has been selected to study and test its hypotheses, and the opinions of 24 employees in the company who work in Iraq as Distributors, The study concluded with a number of conclusions, the most important of which is the existence of a significant correlation and influence relationship to the adoption of the Blue Ocean strategy in support of the provision of revolutionary products. The adoption of the Blue Ocean strategy contributes to supporting the provision of revolutionary products, But this contribution is not the only one, as shown by the coefficient of selection that appeared low in statistical analysis, and this reflects the nature of those products that are unpredictable or at least difficult to predict, and the study presented a set of proposals under these conclusions.

تحتل أحداث القرن السابع عشر الميلادي أهمية كبيرة بالنسبة للتاريخ الاوروبي بشكل عام، وتنطلق تلك الاهمية من خلال الجوانب المثيرة التي توالت احداثها منذ بداية ذلك القرن وحتى نهايته، الى جانب الاحداث التي عاشها فلاسفة القرن نتيجة للضغوطات الكبيرة التي كانوا يتعرضون اليها من حكومات ذلك القرن بدون استثناء . فضلاً عما سبق، إن الفلاسفة بصفة عامة كانوا محل شك من جميع الطبقة السياسية الحاكمة وذلك بسبب الآراء التي جاءوا بها مما ولد حالة من الفجوة ما بين تلك الآراء وما بين الآراء التي كانت موجودة في السابق، الامر الذي جعل الكثير منهم يواجه مأسي في الحياة، وعلى العموم فان العديد من الفلاسفة تمكن من صياغة نظريات جوهرية في ميادين الاجتماع والسياسية كان لها الاثر الفعال في حياة الناس في المستقبل البعيد، ومن بين الفلاسفة الذين كان لهم ذلك الاثر جون لوك الذي يعد شخصية مميزة ليس في انكلترا فحسب وانما في العالم كله، اذ شملت نتاجاته مختلف الميادين، اذ تعد نظريته في العقد الاجتماعي واحدة من اشهر النظريات التي قدمت في المجال السياسي مما حدا بالكثير في الاعتماد عليه . بناءً على ما تقدم تم اختيار عنوان (( النزعة الطبيعية في فلسفة جون لوك، دراسة تحليلية في فكره الفلسفي))، ليكون عنوناً للبحث . توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج وهي على النحو الاتي : ان الحالة الطبيعية الاولى للإنسان تقوم على اساس السلام والطمأنينة وامان تسودها حسن النية والمعونة المتبادلة بين الناس . يؤكد لوك على مبدأ الحرية الفردية ولاسيما حرية الملكية . ان نظرية العقد الاجتماعي التي جاء بها لوك تختلف من حيث الجوهر والمضمون عن نظرية العقد الاجتماعي الذي جاء بها الفلاسفة الاخرون وفي مقدمتهم هوبز .

Background: Partial seizure is well-defined as sudden extreme, profligate, and limited electrical discharges by gray matter from some portions of the brain due to certain structural & metabolic abnormalities. Objective: To distinguish the etiologies of partial seizures and to clarify its association with the age of affected patients. Patients and Methods: A prospective study, done on all patients with neurological consultation in Al- Batool Teaching Hospital, Baqubah Teaching Hospital and Al Yarmouk teaching Hospital from Nov, 2016 to Dec, 2018. Patients with partial seizures and/with secondary generalization were merged. This was fortified through a full history, physical checkup, EEG, and MRI of the brain. The study’s sample comprising 106 patients with partial seizures, the age ranged from 6-75 years, with 52 males and 54 females. Results: Atypical neuroimaging was found in (61%) of patients. Tumors occurred in (19.7%) of patients, the highest of them below 40 years of age while infarctions comprised 25.5% of patients outside this age. Complex partial seizures(CPS) patients with temporal lobe foci comprised 83.7 % and (16.2%) had frontal lobe problems, while (49%) of Simple partial seizures (SPS) patients had frontal lobe foci, 22% frontoparietal and 13% had parietal lobe foci and had brain lesions were spotted in 75.4% of patients with SPS and (35.1%) with complex partial seizures. Conclusion: Infarction is a common reason for partial seizures in patients above 40 years while below this age the tumor is common etiology. A partial seizure is connected mostly with brain lesions. High dimensionality problem in spectra datasets is a significant challenge to researchers and requires the design of effective methods that can extract the optimal variable subset that can improve the accuracy of predictions or classifications. In this study, a hybrid variable selection method, based on the incremental number of variables using bootstrapping soft shrinkage method (BOSS) and interval random variable selection (IRVS) method is proposed and named BOSS-IRVS. The BOSS method is used to determine the informative intervals, while the IRVS method is used to search for informative variables in the informative interval determined by BOSS method. The proposed BOSS-IRVS method was tested using seven different public accessible near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopic datasets of corn, diesel fuel, soy, wheat protein, and hemoglobin types. The performance of the proposed method was compared with that of two outstanding variable selection methods i.e. BOSS and hybrid variable selection strategy based on continuous shrinkage of variable space (VCPA-IRIV). The experimental results showed clearly that the proposed method BOSS-IRVS outperforms VCPA-IRIV and BOSS methods in all tested datasets and improved the percentage of the prediction accuracy, by 15.4 and 15.3 for corn moisture,13.4 and 49.8 for corn oil, 41.5 and 50.6 for corn protein, 12.6 and 5.6 for soy moisture, 0.6 and 6.3 for total diesel fuel, 19.9 and 14.3 for wheat protein, and 5.8 and 20.3 for hemoglobin. The object of research is studying Raman scattering technique, photoluminescence and some optical properties of silver nanoparticles created by eco-friendly technique which independent on a long time, effort, energy and high temperatures, and with the highest adsorption capacity in order to achieve a high inhibition to paralyze the activity of the bacterial wall, by achieving the highest surface plasmon resonance (SRR). Silver nanoparticles were prepared using Matricaria Flower extract. Characterization of silver nanoparticles and detection of their effectiveness against microbial using two types of bacteria (Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus aureus ), these nanoparticles were measured using a number of measurements, X-ray diffraction measurement, Energy Dispersion (EDX), (FESEM), U–V Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Photoluminescence (PL) properties of silver nanoparticle at room temperature and Raman scattering spectroscopy were investigated. The Scherrer’s equation was used to calculate the crystallite size of Silver nanoparticles, the average crystallite size is 48.64 nm. The PL spectra of silver nanoparticles exhibit two emission bands: one is in the UV region 350 nm and the other is in the visible region 650 nm. This is roughly identical to the absorption spectrum results. The antimicrobial activity was tested against gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli) and gram positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus). Prepared Ag NPs exhibited inhibitory activity in both types of bacteria strains at best selectivity against gram-negative bacteria. An eco-friendly technique is used for synthesizing technique to produce silver nanoparticles with the expected best application properties. These research results suitable to be use the Silver nanoparticles in sensors and many electronic, electrical, medical and biological applications

Increase in unconventional resources of calcium (Ca+2) for fowls, aquaculture and native animals was improved. This work was planned to define the most polymorph of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) that take place in the two types of chicken eggshells (local and imported type). In this research, the comparative analysis of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) content was approved for nominated eggshells of native strain and imported chicken via Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Powder X-Ray Diffraction (PXRD) analysis. The results demonstrate that native and imported chicken eggshells comprise calcite morph that had shape between rhombohedral and spherical with distinguished pores distribution in the surface and crystallization size (31) nanometer for local chicken eggshells and (32) nanometer for import chicken eggshells respectively. The authors brief their results that local and import chicken eggshells had the top resources of calcium carbonate (CaCO3).

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a common disease of the older population around the world. It causes a progressive neurodegenerative disorder linked to age. The undesirable effects of treatments for this disease limit the use of conventional drugs. However, currently scientists are interested in researching more effective natural medicines. Various plants and herbal preparations have been traditionally used for their memory and cognition enhancing abilities; many of which were extensively studied for therapeutic potential in Alzheimer’s disease. Melissa officinalis (lemon balm) is a medicinal plant that has a long history of use in the treatment of diseases, especially nervous system disorders. This review is aimed to present this plant (taxonomy, cultivation, phytochemical profile, traditional usages and pharmacology, treatment, mechanism of action, and safety) and also to summarize its neuroprotective, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory characteristics in Alzheimer’s disease.

Hypericum perforatum L. (Hypericaceae) is a perennial plant commonly known as St. John’s Wort that has been used for centuries as a medicinal herb (it has antidepressant, antiviral, wound healing, antiinflammatory, etc. properties). It contains numerous pharmacologically active ingredients, including naphthodianthrones (hypericin, pseudohypericin). These natural compounds have beneficial activity in neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease, because of their neuroprotective and antidepressant properties.

ObjectivesMalaria infection is still known to be a worldwide public health problem, especially in tropical and sub-tropical African countries like Sudan. A pilot study conducted to describe the trend ofP. falciparumdrug resistance markers in 2017–2018 in comparison to CQ and AS/SP eras in Sudan. ThePfcrt,Pfmdr-1,Pfdhfr, andPfdhpsgenes were investigated. Data deposited by the worldwide antimalarial resistance network was consulted, and the molecular markers previously reported from Sudan were analyzed.ResultsDrug molecular markers analysis was successfully done on 20P. falciparumisolates. ThePfcrtK76 showed high frequency; 16 (80%). For thePfmdr-1,9 (45%) isolates were carrying the N86 allele, and 11 (55%) were 86Y allele. While the Y184F of thePfmdr-1showed a higher frequency of 184F compared to Y184; 16 (80%) and 4 (20%), respectively. In thePfdhfr, 51I allele showed higher frequency compared to N51; 18 (90%) and 2 (10%), respectively. For S108N, 18 (90%) were 108 N and 2 (10%) were S108. In thePfdhps, all isolates were carrying the mutant alleles; 437G and 540E. The frequency distribution of thePfcrt,Pfmdr-1,Pfdhfr,Pfdhpswas significantly different across the whole years in Sudan.

Background Malaria infection is still known to be a worldwide public health problem, especially in tropical and sub-tropical African countries like Sudan. The fight against malaria is still taking place due to many factors. One of these factors is the presence of Plasmodium falciparum drug resistant parasites. This study is aiming at studying the P. falciparum drug resistance markers and analyzing the historical literature on these markers in Sudan. Methods A descriptive cross-sectional healthcare-centers based study conducted in Khartoum state between December 2017 and July 2018. Febrile patients diagnosed with P. falciparum malaria infection were recruited. Two ml blood samples were collected prior to start treatment. Genotyping of the specific point mutations in the P. falciparum genome was done using Sanger sequencing method for the Pfcrt, Pfmdr-1, Pfdhfr, and Pfdhps genes. Data deposited by the worldwide antimalarial resistance network was consulted and the molecular markers previously reported from Sudan were identified, collected, and analyzed to compare between past and present frequency of malaria drug resistance mutations. One-way ANOVA test was used to calculate the least significance of frequency distribution in the molecular markers collected from the previous reports from Sudan in comparison to this study. Pearson correlation was used to investigate the association between the different drug resistance markers. Results Drug molecular markers analysis was successfully done on the 20 P. falciparum isolates. the Pfcrt K76 showed the highest frequency; 16 (80%). Pfcrt 76T was 4 (20%). For the Pfmdr-1 marker, 9 (45%) isolates were carrying the N86 allele and 11 (55%) were 86Y allele. While the Y184F of the Pfmdr-1 showed higher frequency of 184F compared to Y184; 16 (80%) and 4 (20%), respectively. Concerning the double Pfmdr-1 haplotype, NY haplotype was 2 (10%), NF was 7 (35%), YF was 9 (45%), and YY was 2 (10%). In the Pfdhfr , 51I allele showed higher frequency compared to N51; 18 (90%) and 2 (10%), respectively. Whereas for C59R, C59 was 18 (90%), and 59R was 2 (10%). For S108N, 18 (90%) for 108N and 2 (10%) for S108. The triplet haplotype ICN of the Pfdhfr ; was the most frequent haplotype; 16 (80%). Concerning the Pfdhps , all the 20 (100%) isolates were carrying the mutant alleles; 437G and 540E. the Pfdhps haplotype present was the double GE haplotype only. No statistically significant correlation was found for the Pfcrt , Pfmdr-1 , Pfdhfr , and Pfdhps . Historical reports on P. falciparum multidrug resistant collected from 1989 to 2016 showed extreme fluctuation. High prevalence of Pfcrt 76T allele was observed in Khartoum throughout all years of previous studies, while in Gedaref Pfcrt 76T showing increased prevalence each year. All studied genes were showing increase prevalence of the mutant alleles and reduction of the wildtype alleles. In this study, the GE mutant haplotype was prevalent in all the studied samples. Frequency distribution of the Pfcrt K76T and Pfmdr-1 N86Y alleles, Pfmdr-1 ; N86Y and Y184F, Pfdhfr ; N51I and S108N, and Pfdhps ; A437G and K540E double haplotypes was significantly different across the whole years in Sudan. Conclusion This study describes the distribution of P. falciparum multidrug resistance markers throughout Sudan providing a solid baseline data of the status of these markers which could be very useful for the malaria control program not only for establishing surveillance system that monitor the change in and/or the emergence of malaria drug resistance but it will also offer a guidance for the evidence-base decision-making regarding the treatment protocol national and regional wise.

Introduction: Childhood obesity is a very serious condition and it is one of the most important risk factors for cardiovascular disease and diabetes later in life. Numerous studies have discussed the obesity problem and being overweight in children, which is considered a serious public health problem. The intensive use of technology by the children nowadays made the children prone more to the diseases associated with obesity, as long stay in front of screens without physical activity expose them to obesity. The questionnaire measured the sociodemographic data of all students as well as Prevalence of obesity by measuring weight, height, Body Mass Index (BMI). Results: The BMI of the studied group showed that 46.0% of the studied student were between 5 – 84th percentile, 32.5% were above the 95th, 15.5% were between 85 - 94th percentile and only 6.0% were below the 5th percentile. Regarding the relation between the obesity and game using, the current study showed that, 95.8% of obese students and 95.8% of overweight student were playing electronic games, while 95.3% of normal weight and 89.3% of underweight students were playing electronic games (p value = 0.544). Conclusion: In this sample of children living in Dammam and Al- Khobar, Saudi Arabia, obesity was associated with use of electronic games and also associated with the availability of electronic games and devices in bedroom.
