The way a consumer thinks about a particular brand is one of the mostsignificant aspects in making purchase decisions. Nowadays organizationsaim to make their products memorable and create points of difference intheir products or strategies. In this study the perception regarding the brandpages and their attitude towards Facebook advertisement are focused. Anonline questionnaire was published. The respondents to the questionnairewere all active Facebook users in Turkey. In this study among differenttypes of social media sites Facebook is considered, there are facilitiesprovided through Facebook that usually brands use them such as fan pages,advertising. The findings based on the analyses suggest that there are nosignificant differences between gender considering perception towards thebrand pages and no differences regarding consumer attitude towardsFacebook advertisements furthermore the perception of a brand page doesaffect consumer attitude towards advertisements. This study concludes thatbuilding a brand requires providing or enhancing online brand pages,moreover, creating the most relevant ads and creating interaction withconsumers. There are vital strategies of building brand such as onlinepresence, communicating and using social networking sites as a platformto reach the target audience.

Objective Few studies have looked at the predictors of use of home sphygmomanometers among hypertensive patients in low-income countries such as Pakistan. Considering the importance of home blood pressure monitoring (HBPM), cross-sectional study was conducted to evaluate the prevalence and predictors of the usage of all kinds of HBPM devices. Method This study was conducted in Karachi during the time period of January-February 2017. Adult patients previously diagnosed with hypertension visiting tertiary care hospitals were selected for the study. Interviews from the individuals were conducted after verbal consent using a pre-coded questionnaire. The data was analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences v. 23.0 (SPSS, IBM Corporation, NY, USA). Chi-squared test was applied as the primary statistical test. Results More than half of the participants used a home sphygmomanometer (n=250, 61.7%). The age, level of education, family history of hypertension, compliance to drugs and blood pressure (BP) monitoring, few times a month at clinics were significant determinants of HBPM (P values < 0.001). It was found that more individuals owned a digital sphygmomanometer (n=128, 51.3%) as compared to a manual type (n=122, 48.8%). Moreover, avoiding BP measurement in a noisy environment was the most common precaution taken (n=117, 46.8%). Conclusion The study showed that around 40% of the hypertensive individuals did not own a sphygmomanometer and less than 25% performed HBPM regularly. General awareness by healthcare professionals can be a possible factor which can increase HBPM.

Arbetets syfte är att ta reda på om det finns kunskap om lärstilar bland lärare och elever på gymnasiets omvårdnadsprogram. Vidare har arbetet fokuserat på hur undervisningen ser ut i medicinsk grundkurs och hur den kan utvecklas för att anpassas till elevers olika sätt att lära in. Uppsatsen anknyter till tidigare pedagogisk forskning och teori där nyckelorden är lärande, lärstilar och undervisning.Studiens empiri består av en lärstilsanalys som genomförts i två klasser samt intervjuer av vårdlärare och elever, där lärarna har undervisat någon av eleverna i medicinsk grundkurs. Arbetet begränsas till att omfatta Richard Bandlers och John Grinders lärstilar samt de faktorer som enligt Gardner påverkar elevernas inlärning.Studien visar att det finns kunskap om de olika lärstilarna, såväl bland lärare som elever och att undervisningen i medicinsk grundkurs är flexibel. Avslutningsvis hävdar uppsatsen att undervisningen kan utvecklas genom att pedagoger bl.a. i allt större utsträckning tar in elevers olika preferenser för inlärning.
