Evidence suggests a discrepancy in the proportion of autistic individuals continuing to higher education (HE) compared to the general population. Similarly, qualitative analyses provide insight into difficulties experienced by autistic students in HE. Universities have now returned to face-to-face teaching following COVID-19. However, no research has explored COVID-19 anxiety in autistic students, nor their thoughts about returning to face-to-face teaching. Therefore, a thorough literature review will be conducted, exploring the experiences of autistic students within HE. Novel results will be reported. Disabled university students reported significantly more COVID-19 anxiety and uncertainty intolerance than non-disabled students. Similarly, autistic students reported significantly more uncertainty intolerance. Implications of this are discussed. Findings from a follow-up case study suggest a need for improved disability awareness on campus, sensory accommodations, and appropriate mental health support. Support strategies and future research directions are suggested.

The study outlines a model for how the COVID‐19 pandemic has uniquely exacerbated the propagation of conspiracy beliefs and subsequent harmful behaviors. The pandemic has led to widespread disruption of cognitive and social structures. As people face these disruptions they turn online seeking alternative cognitive and social structures. Once there, social media radicalizes beliefs, increasing contagion (rapid spread) and stickiness (resistance to change) of conspiracy theories. As conspiracy theories are reinforced in online communities, social norms develop, translating conspiracy beliefs into real‐world action. These real‐world exchanges are then posted back on social media, where they are further reinforced and amplified, and the cycle continues. In the broader population, this process draws attention to conspiracy theories and those who confidently espouse them. This attention can drive perceptions that conspiracy beliefs are less fringe and more popular, potentially normalizing such beliefs for the mainstream. We conclude by considering interventions and future research to address this seemingly intractable problem.

This performative autoethnography is about negotiating the labels assigned, rejected, desired, and/or pursued within the contested terrain of interpersonal/intercultural culture. Using intersectionality as theoretical framework, and autoethnographic performance as method, Johnson reflects on their body as a series of stories chosen to tease out the intersections of identities, and the ways in which identity structures massage their understanding of self, others’ perceptions of them, and their perceptions of others perceiving them.

OBJECTIVES/GOALS: To facilitate the development of innovative injection products by providing translational researchers with a regulatory and manufacturing road map for producing small batch sterile products for Phase 1 research use. To leverage recent AMC investments in facility improvements and pharmacy training in the areas of sterile product production, testing, and environmental controls, that can be used to support production of phase 1 clinical trial supplies METHODS/STUDY POPULATION: Searching and organizing relevant data and information from web portals and databases in the following: areas: FDA, EMA, USP regulations, regulatory science, pharmaceutical formulation and analytics, supply vendors, analytical testing laboratories, and product testing laboratories. Present the information using a user friendly format including flow charts and development timelines, taking the perspective of the translational investigator. This is due not only to advances in medicine, but also to improvements in AMC-based sterile product production, and a better understanding of small batch manufacturing methods. All three trends align in academic medical centers (AMC) and can be utilized by translational researchers, if they can understand the potential and regulatory requirements.
