Abstract

The salted egg has been popular as a rural economic product which are mostly prepared by housewives in Aceh Besar regency. In order to support the rural economic activity, this experiment was designed and focused on utilization of the local fruits, namely wild mango (Spondias pinnata), which is recognized locally as "Kedondong hutan" to preserve quality of the salted egg. This biomass was employed as a green material on salting process of duck eggs. Initially, the pH level of "kedondong hutan" in liquid phase was determined by chemical method and a pH value of around 4.2 was obtained. While a phytochemical analysis of wild mango fruits revealed that it contains terpenoids, phenolic acids, saponins, alkaloids, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds. The oil exudation (OE) content in the salted eggs products was examined using a gravimetric method, and it was found that OE level of the salted eggs produced in Aceh Besar was around 19.83 %. Finally, this research demonstrated that "Kedondong hutan" fruit have a positive impact on preventing microbial growth in the salted duck egg product, thus useful for preserving its quality. Abstract

Kali Ulu Village has a LAN internet network service that uses fiber optic cables as a connecting medium between computer networks. Quality of service (QoS) is a way of measuring how good or bad a network service is. The parameters (QoS) are delay, throughput, packet loss and bandwidth according to THIPON standards. In residents' houses 1 - 4 in Kali Ulu Village, the available bandwidth is 100 Mbps and the capacity per house is 10 Mbps. Therefore, measurements are really needed to see how good the service quality is in Kali Ulu village between houses using the Axence Nettol application to find out the results of delay, throughput, packet loss values and accessing http://www.speedtest. net/ to measure bandwidth. The results of the measurements (QoS) on the fiber optic network in Kali Ulu village, can first be seen from the results of the bandwidth measurements, the average download speed is "102.31Mbps" and the average upload speed is "101.23 Mbps", the average value delay is “146ms” which means included very good category because < 150 ms, the average packet loss value is "0%" which is included in the Very Good category because <3% and the average throughput value is "2.0 Mbps" which means it is included in the Very Good category because > 1.2 Mbps.

Positive sentiments and satisfaction experienced by an individual about their job are reflected in their job satisfaction. Due to the shifted variables affecting work fulfillment among people, organizational administration must pay extraordinary consideration. The reason for this investigation is to recognize factors affecting job satisfaction among workers within the control era industry, especially within the Suralaya PGU Work Unit. Inspecting was conducted utilizing a purposive examining strategy including the cooperation of 205 respondents. Essential information was obtained through the utilization of surveys, and the Auxiliary Condition Modeling Fractional Slightest Squares (SEM PLS) method was utilized to analyze the information. The discoveries of this inquiry demonstrate that motivation and work fulfillment play a positive part in representative execution, whereas the work environment encompasses a positive effect on the level of work fulfillment. In any case, the work environment does not essentially impact representative execution, and inspiration does not have a significant effect on the level of work fulfillment. Furthermore, it was found that the level of work satisfaction can be a critical go-between within the relationship between the work environment and representative execution but does not play a critical intervening part in the relationship between inspiration and worker execution. The results of this research, it is expected to contribute significantly to human resource development and employee performance improvement, providing a valuable foundation for organizational management policies. Abstract

The soil fertility and nutrient availability are limiting factors for growth and plant development. Fermented compost and nitrogen (N)-fertilizer are useful as sources of nutrients to support the growth of plant and microorganisms in soils. The combination of biological fertilizer and chemical fertilizer can support the concept of sustainable and integrated agriculture and minimize the adverse effects of chemical fertilizers. The research was conducted to get the recommended dose of fermented compost and N-fertilizer to increase the plant height and productivity of purple eggplant. The experiment was arranged as factorialized randomized block design and consisted of two factors and two replications, namely fermented compost dose (0, 5, 10, and 15 t ha−1) and N-fertilizer dose (0, 75, 150, and 225 kg ha−1). The observed responses were increase in plant height and productivity of purple eggplant. Compared to the control, the application of 15 t ha−1 fermented compost and 225 kg ha−1 N-fertilizer increased the plant height by 40.76% at 30 days after planting and 57.59% at 37 days after planting and increased the purple eggplant yield by 43.15%. BC ratio of the fermented compost (15 t ha−1) is 1.16 and BC ratio of the N-fertilizer (225 kg ha−1) is 1.09. Recommended dose to increase the plant height and productivity of purple eggplant in vertisol is 15 t ha−1 of fermented compost and 225 kg ha−1 of N-fertilizer.

Abstract

Campolay (Pouteria campechiana) is a plant originating from Mexico that can grow in tropical and subtropical climates. Velva is a type of frozen food similar to ice cream but has a low-fat content because it does not use milk fat and has high vitamin C and fiber content. This study aims to analyze the effect of the type and concentration of stabilizers on the organoleptic and nutritional quality of Velva campolay products. Velva campolay uses two variables: the type of stabilizer with three levels of treatment (CMC, carrageenan, and gelatin) and the concentration of stabilizer with three levels of treatment (0.25%, 0.50%, and 0.75%). The type of stabilizer was not affecting the quality of the texture, the panelists' preference for texture, taste, or overall, but it affected the melting power of Velva campolay (p<0.05). The concentration of the stabilizer was not affecting the quality of the texture but it affected the melting power of Velva campolay (p<0.05). Velva campolay product selected based on melting power that was Velva with a CMC stabilizer of 0.75% (p<0.05). Campolay can be used as a raw material for making Velva, with an overall preference level ranging from 6.03-6.87 (somewhat like). The selected Velva campolay product has a moisture content of 75.73%, ash (1.14%), protein (1.71%), fat (0.14%), carbohydrates (21.28%), crude fiber (0.11%), energy value (93.22 kcal/ 100g), vitamin C (21.43 mg/100g), and antioxidant IC50 (542.59 ppm). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk anorganik dan Pupuk organik cair (POC) limbah air cucian beras terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi (Brassica juncea L.). Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2022 sampai Agustus 2022, di Jempong Baru, Pegesangan Barat, Kecamatan Mataram. Penelitian disusun menurut rancangan Acak Lengkap faktorial dengan dua faktor, pertama dosis pupuk anorganik urea, SP36, dan KCl dan kedua volume POC. Faktor pertama terdiri atas tiga taraf perlakuan yaitu: tanpa pupuk, 50% dosis rekomendasi, 100% dosis rekomendasi, sedangkan faktor kedua terdiri atas lima taraf yaitu: 0, 100, 150, 200, 250 ml/tanaman. Kombinasi perlakuan diulang tiga kali sehingga didapatkan 45 tanaman (polybag), setiap unit percobaan terdapat 2 tanaman sehingga diperoleh 90 tanaman. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam taraf 5% dan parameter yang signifikan diuji lanjut dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi kedua faktor pupuk anorganik dan POC berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan. Faktor mandiri masing-masing pemberian pupuk anorganik 100% dosis rekomendasi maupun POC volume 250 ml/tanaman memberikan hasil tertinggi pada parameter pengamatan.

Abstract

The high beef price triggers adulteration of beef and other non-halal animal meat, such as wild boar and rats. An appropriate and effective analytical method is needed to differentiate halal and non-halal animal meat. The SPME/GC-MS method could authenticate meat based on specific volatile compounds in each meat. The objective of this study was to characterize volatile compounds and determine the volatile marker in raw beef, rat, wild boar meat, and their mixtures using SPME/GC-MS. The chemometrics of principal component analysis (PCA) and orthogonal projection to latent structure-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) classified raw beef, rat, wild boar, and their mixture. Correlation coefficients and VIP values were used to determine the volatile marker compounds for each meat in the OPLS-DA classes. The OPLS-DA results that the most robust marker in the beef class was dimethylfulvene, benzyl alcohol in the rat class, and 1,3,5-cycloheptatriene in the wild boar class. Furthermore, the most robust marker in the mixture of beef and rat class was benzaldehyde, 3-ethyl-, while 2,6-dimethyldecane was dominant in the mixture of beef and wild boar class. However, further study using larger number of samples which include commercial meat is required to confirm these results.

Abstract

Antibiotik merupakan obat yang digunakan pada infeksi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri. Antibiotik yang tidak digunakan secara bijak dapat memicu timbulnya masalah resistensi. Adanya resistensi antibiotik menyebabkan penurunan kemampuan antibiotik tersebut dalam mengobati infeksi. Pneumonia adalah penyebab kematian infeksi tunggal terbesar pada anak-anak di seluruh dunia. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan antibiotik secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ialah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan pengambilan data dilakukan secara retrospektif dengan menggunakan data rekam medis pasien. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode total sampling dengan hasil 153 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Evaluasi antibiotik dilakukan secara kuantitatif menggunakan metode Anatomy Therapeutic Chemical/Defined Daily Dose (ATC/DDD) dan segmen DU 90%, sedangkan evaluasi kualitatif menggunakan metode Gyssens Flowchart. Hasil evaluasi kuantitatif menunjukkan ampisilin-sulbaktam memiliki DDD/100 patient-days tertinggi yaitu 9,4 DDD/100 patient-days. Untuk hasil segmen DU 90% terdapat 3 antibiotik yang masuk dalam segmen DU 90% yaitu ampisilin-sulbaktam, seftriakson, dan sefotaksim. Hasil evaluasi Gyssens mendapatkan hasil 95,65% antibiotik digunakan secara rasional, 3,91% antibiotik masuk ke dalam kategori IIA yaitu penggunaan antibiotik tidak tepat dosis (subdosis), dan 0,43% masuk dalam kategori IVA yaitu ada alternatif lain yang lebih efektif. Hasil evaluasi dilakukan analisis dengan menggunakan chi-square dan menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pemberian antibiotik yang rasional dan faktor resiko terhadap luaran terapi.
