El propósito de este trabajo es sistematizar la información del desarrollo psicomotor (DPM) y los signos de alarma infantil durante los dos primeros años de vida, lo cuales permiten conocer la evolución del infante. El desarrollo psicomotor se ve influenciado por diversos factores: genéticos, ambientales y emocionales, que pueden afectar el desarrollo infantil adecuado, sin embargo, cuando existen alteraciones durante el DPM se pueden evidenciar signos de alarma, los cuales se pueden manifestar en conductas poco adaptativas.

The health crisis caused by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 highlights the need to identify new treatment strategies for this viral infection. During the past year, over 400 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) treatment patents have been registered; nevertheless, the presence of new virus variants has triggered more severe disease presentations and reduced treatment effectiveness, highlighting the need for new treatment options for the COVID-19. This study evaluates the Metformin Glycinate (MG) effect on the SARS-CoV-2 in vitro and in vivo viral load. The in vitro study was conducted in a model of Vero E6 cells, while the in vivo study was an adaptive, two-armed, randomized, prospective, longitudinal, double-blind, multicentric, and phase IIb clinical trial. Our in vitro results revealed that MG effectively inhibits viral replication after 48 h of exposure to the drug, with no cytotoxic effect in doses up to 100 µM. The effect of the MG was also tested against three variants of interest (alpha, delta, and epsilon), showing increased survival rates in cells treated with MG. These results are aligned with our clinical data, which indicates that MG treatment reduces SARS-CoV2-infected patients´ viral load in just 3.3 days and supplementary oxygen requirements compared with the control group. We expect our results can guide efforts to position MG as a therapeutic option for COVID-19 patients.

At the beginning of 2020, many educators were still unclear what exactly it meant to design teaching-learning processes in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, “Education 4.0”. Despite this, and due to the Corona crisis, all institutions were dizzyingly pushed into partially known digital and technological environments, dragging teachers and students with them. In the field of higher education, the situation was doubly challenging: there were still deep misunderstandings about how to improve the cognitive abilities of Generation Z students, and serious confusion about the fact that technological tools -even advanced- can hardly replace an entire cognitive theory. The present work is a study on the effectiveness of the Active Learning approach in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics); the didactic use of technological tools (including screencasting and podcasting) and, the design of innovative strategies to enhance the development of the skills declared in the Education 4.0 Framework: global citizenship, innovation and creativity, digital literacy and interpersonal awareness. The methodology used was quantitative-experimental with a 4-group Solomon design, involved more than 250 students and was developed over three years, including the two semesters of 2020 (fully online environments). The use of VALUE rubrics (Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education) allowed the obtaining of conclusive results: (i) the importance of a correct diagnosis of the development of digital literacy skills to promote the formation of metacognitive awareness; (ii) the impact of the design and implementation of adequate cognitive tools in the quality of the learning outcomes; and (iii) the relevance of the dosed use of technological tools in each stage of a 2D learning taxonomy (cognitive process dimension / orthogonal knowledge dimension). La investigación tuvo como objetivo general proponer un modelo de gestión pedagógica para fortalecer el desempeño directivo en las I.E.J.E.C: del distrito de Cajamarca. La metodología utilizada correspondió al descriptivo, con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental. La recopilación de antecedentes manejada fue la encuesta, el instrumento usado el cuestionario con escala tipo Lickert, aplicado a una muestra al personal de 03 instituciones educativas con jornada especial completa del distrito de Cajamarca. Los resultados expresaron el comportamiento de la variable desempeño directivo y del total de encuestados el 2.5% es regular y el 97.5% se califica como bueno. Se concluye que la situación actual del desempeño de los directivos de las I.E.J.E.C. del distrito de Cajamarca es bueno, predominando por ende una buena calidad de la educación, repercutida por la buena labor del director hacia sus docentes, alumnos y padres de familia de la comunidad educativa ubicada en el distrito Cajamarquino. [ES] En el presente trabajo se pretende realizar un cambio de uso de un edifico, el cual alberga oficinas para transformarlas en apartamentos turísticos. Para ello se realiza una serie de trabajos con el fin de adecuarse a las exigencias urbanísticas para este tipo de uso, entre los que engloban la reforma del interior del edificio para realizar una nueva distribución de espacios, adecuación de la caja de escalera a las nuevas dimensiones exigidas por la normativa, demolición del antiguo ascensor con el objetivo de aprovechar mejor el espacio del ojo de la escalera y aumentar sus dimensiones. Después de un análisis del edificio antes de comenzar los trabajos, se realizarán refuerzos en determinados elementos estructurales una vez visto el estado actual en el que se encuentran y la carga de peso prevista. Se efectuarán también trabajos de rehabilitación de fachada principal para mejorar la vista del edificio, sin modificar ningún elemento de la misma ya que la fachada está protegida por las ordenanzas municipales., [EN] In the present work, we intend to change the use of a building, which houses offices to transform them into tourist apartments. For this, a series of works is carried out in order to adapt to the urban planning requirements for this type of use, among which include the reform of the interior of the building to make a new distribution of spaces, adaptation of the staircase to the new ones. dimensions required by regulations, demolition of the old elevator in order to make better use of the space of the eye of the staircase and increase its dimensions. This Research-to-Practice Full Paper discusses the use of the Serious-Storytelling approach for enhancing soft skills that are decisive for the development of new job opportunities for young engineers. Multifarious international organizations, in their recent reports, emphasize the need to include new cognitive tools for developing the soft skills that Gen Z engineers need due, on the one hand, to the strong consolidation of social media, which shows an unexpected difference in the way recent graduates view the world and define themselves; and on the other hand, to the exponential development of the technology that was made accessible to them. Serious-Storytelling cognitive tools were adapted for the design of critical reading and critical writing co-curricular activities and were included as active learning experiences in different engineering programs. The research was conducted based upon a 4-group Solomon methodology with a quantitative design. To assess creative thinking competencies, different evaluation instruments were used for PreTests and PostTest, including several fluency and originality tests, as well as storytelling articulateness ability tests and modified VALUE rubrics of the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U).The obtained results showed that the designed Serious-Storytelling approach promoted a better understanding of scientific concepts in engineering subjects, a higher capability to develop rising demand skill sets and a stronger creative thinking competence awareness.
