Neo traditional neighborhoods are one of the most important concerns that have been studied in recent decades, with the return to traditional planning patterns of ancient cities, which is one of the most visible challenges and trends in urban planning and current architectural designs to achieve sustainability. study examines the new traditional neighborhood model and the extent to which its indicators are met in the study area. be a more complete approach that addresses the fundamental goals of sustainability, such as the physical and social systems. study intends to measure the indicators of neo traditional neighborhoods, which represent mixed use, sustainable transportation, and high density. This improves access to all critical services for the populace and makes them more walkable. It is also a model that contributes to improving the population's quality of life, hence achieving sustainability goals. It has been established that the new traditional neighborhood is an effective and critical component in attaining urban sustainability and environmental preservation. While the survey discovered that (the Al-Hindiya neighborhood) has attained easy access to services, which has resulted in a considerable reduction in the usage of cars. Communication and social participation metrics are also strong, implying that the study region is on track to meet its sustainability goals. The study's findings show that it is vital to focus urban planning to build residential areas that satisfy sustainability goals through mixed use, simple access, increasing pedestrian activity, and high densities.
