Bu araştırmada müzik öğretmeni adaylarının BİT’e ve uzaktan eğitime yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nicel araştırma modellerinden tarama (survey) modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz yarıyılında Türkiye’nin yedi farklı bölgesinden 20 üniversitenin müzik öğretmenliği lisans programında öğrenim gören 228 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın veri toplama araçları “BİT Tutum Ölçeği” ve “Uzaktan Eğitime Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği”dir. Verilerin analizinde parametrik testler kullanılmış olup; betimsel, ilişkisel ve karşılaştırmaya yönelik istatistiklerden faydalanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda; katılımcıların uzaktan eğitime yönelik tutumlarının olumlu yönde ve orta düzeye yakın olduğu; BİT’e yönelik tutumlarının ise olumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların uzaktan eğitime yönelik tutumlarının yaş grubu ve bilgisayar sahibi olma durumuna göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaştığı; BİT’e yönelik tutumlarının ise cinsiyet, bilgisayara sahip olma ve lisans düzeyine göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada, uzaktan eğitime yönelik tutum ve BİT’e yönelik tutum arasında pozitif yönlü çok düşük seviyede bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilirken; BİT’e yönelik tutum düzeyindeki artışın uzaktan eğitime yönelik tutum düzeyinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir düzeyde artışa neden olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonunda eğitim fakülteleri müzik öğretmenliği lisans programı müfredatına uzaktan eğitim pedagojisine ve BİT’e yönelik derslerin eklenmesi önerilmiştir.

In this study, we aimed to compare the data of sunitinib and pazopanib used in the first-line treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) cases and to evaluate the effective factors in terms of survival.The records of 125 patients with metastatic RCC admitted between January 2005 and February 2018 were retrospectively analyzed and 63 patients who received pazopanib or sunitinib were included in the study while 62 patients were excluded due to insufficient data. Clinical and histological characteristics, treatment responses, progression-free survival (PFS), and overall survival (OS) of the patients were compared.Patients with metastatic RCC who received pazopanib or sunitinib as tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI) in first-line treatment were analyzed; 45 (71.4%) were male while 18 (28.6%) were female, and the median age was 60. 43 (68.3%) patients were treated with sunitinib and 20 (31.7%) with pazopanib. PFS ​​of pazopanib and sunitinib were 10.6 and 7.2 months, respectively. Median OS was 14.5 months in patients receiving pazopanib and 13.6 months in those receiving sunitinib. There was no statistical difference in PFS and OS between both treatments. The median OS of clear-cell RCC was 15.2 months, while of non-clear-cell RCC was 7.7months.High ECOG score, non-clear-cell histology, presence of liver metastasis in metastatic RCC patients were found to be associated with shorter OS and PFS. Sunitinib and pazopanib produced similar OS and PFS rates in first-line treatment of metastatic RCC.

Background: A rare condition in adults, Ewing sarcoma (EWS) has no standard treatment during the relapse–refractory period. In our study, we aimed to identify the treatment-related side effects of high-dose chemotherapy (HDC) and salvage autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) in adult patients with relapsed or refractory EWS and their survival rates. Materials and Methods: In a retrospective study, we recorded the clinical characteristics of patients with relapsed or refractory EWS treated with HDC in the hospital’s patient registry to determine their objective response rate (ORR), progression-free survival (PFS), 6-month PFS rate, overall survival (OS), 6-month OS rate, transplantation-related mortality (TRM) and treatment-related side effects. Results: In our sample of 29 patients (72.4% male), the mean age was 26.41 years (SD = 9.35). The most common primary tumour site was the lower extremities (31%), 69% of patients had lung metastases, and 48.1% had undergone surgical resection, adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The ORR to HDC was 31%. Median PFS (IQR) was 5.35 (6.79) months (95% confidence interval = 4.23–8.28), whereas the 6-month PFS rate was 38.9%. Median OS (IQR) was 9.46 (14.45) months (95% confidence interval = 8.52–15.82), whereas the 6-month OS rate was 68.1%. Mortality from HDC or other causes occurred in five patients within the first 100 days after ASCT. Grade 3 febrile neutropenia and thrombocytopenia were present in all patients until engraftment following ASCT. Conclusion: Amongst adults with relapsed or refractory EWS, HDC has successful survival and response rates and a manageable side-effects profile.
