Background/Objectives: Effective communication between nurses and patients plays a crucial role in the delivery of quality healthcare services, especially when caring for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. It fosters trust, understanding, and collaboration and contributes to better health outcomes and satisfactory nurse–patient relationships. The aim of the study is to assess the factors and barriers affecting nurses' communication when providing care for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Methods: A cross-sectional quantitative descriptive design is used with an online survey instrument. The study involved registered nurses employed in Jeddah's hospitals. The study utilized a convenience sample for data collection and used the latest version of the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS version 21) for data entry and analysis. Results: A study of 367 participants found significant barriers to nurse–patient communication, with a mean score of 2.84 on a three-point scale. Key challenges included language differences between nurses and patients with a mean score of 2.87, and cultural and religious differences with a mean score of 2.83 and 2.81, as well as nurses' communication skills, attitudes, and self-confidence and patients' awareness, attitudes, and resistance to communication. The multifaceted nature of these barriers emphasizes the need for targeted interventions to improve nurse–patient interactions and enhance care quality. Conclusions: The study highlights the impact of various factors on effective communication between nurses and patients, emphasizing the need for nurses to develop their communication skills and to receive adequate training from nursing officials. Chronic diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, and asthma, represent a major global health challenge, placing enormous pressure on healthcare systems. Effective management of these diseases is critical to improving patient outcomes, reducing hospitalizations, and optimizing healthcare resources. Pharmacists play a vital role in multidisciplinary healthcare teams by providing medication therapy management, which includes conducting medication reviews, promoting adherence, educating patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This review examines the multifaceted role of pharmacists in chronic disease management, highlighting their contributions to medication optimization, patient education, and collaboration within healthcare teams. Furthermore, it explores the potential for future advances in pharmacist-led care, including the enhanced use of digital technologies, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence, to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. Simple Summary: Laryngeal cancer poses a major global health burden, with late-stage diagnoses contributing to decreased survival rates. Recently, deep learning and deep convolutional neural network models have exhibited significant attention in the diagnosis of various diseases like skin cancer and diabetic retinopathy. Therefore, this study focuses on the design and development of a deep learning-based laryngeal cancer detection and classification model. The proposed model exploited a hyperparameter-tuned EfficientNetB0 model with a multi-head bidirectional gated recurrent unit for classification. In addition, the Dwarf Mongoose Optimization algorithm is applied for the hyperparameter tuning process. The experimental results stated that the proposed model is found to be an accurate and reliable approach for automated detection of laryngeal cancer. Laryngeal cancer (LCA) is a serious disease with a concerning global rise in incidence. Accurate treatment for LCA is particularly challenging in later stages, due to its complex nature as a head and neck malignancy. To address this challenge, researchers have been actively developing various analysis methods and tools to assist medical professionals in efficient LCA identification. However, existing tools and methods often suffer from various limitations, including low accuracy in early-stage LCA detection, high computational complexity, and lengthy patient screening times. With this motivation, this study presents an Automated Laryngeal Cancer Detection and Classification using a Dwarf Mongoose Optimization Algorithm with Deep Learning (ALCAD-DMODL) technique. The main objective of the ALCAD-DMODL method is to recognize the existence of LCA using the DL model. In the presented ALCAD-DMODL technique, a median filtering (MF)-based noise removal process takes place to get rid of the noise. Additionally, the ALCAD-DMODL technique involves the EfficientNet-B0 model for deriving feature vectors from the pre-processed images. For optimal hyperparameter tuning of the EfficientNet-B0 model, the DMO algorithm can be applied to select the parameters. Finally, the multi-head bidirectional gated recurrent unit (MBGRU) model is applied for the recognition and classification of LCA. The simulation result analysis of the ALCAD-DMODL technique is carried out on the throat region image dataset. The comparison study stated the supremacy of the ALCAD-DMODL technique in terms of distinct measures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
