Abstract

The experiments were performed at bremsstrahlung end-point energies of 10-23 MeV with the beam from the MT-25 microtron with the use of the {\gamma}-activation technique. The experimental values of relative yields were compared with theoretical results obtained on the basis of TALYS with the standard parameters and the combined model of photonucleon reactions. Including isospin splitting in the combined model of photonucleon reactions allows to describe experimental data on reactions with proton escape in energies range from 10 to 23 MeV. Therefore, taking into account isospin splitting is necessary for a correct description of the decay of the GDR., Comment: 22 pages, 8 figures

Abstract

On a sunny day, the front side of the bifacial solar cells is illuminated with direct and the rear side with the diffused light. Therefore, it is important to study the effect of diffusion and direct light on the bifacial solar cell. In this study, the effects of diffuse and direct light and temperature on the textured bifacial solar cell were determined by simulation. According to the obtained results, the optimal value of the angle of base of texture for a bifacial silicon solar cell is 580. On a cloudy day, under diffuse light illumination on both sides, the planar and optimally textured solar cells have an efficiency of 13.14% and 16.03% and a short-circuit current of 4.34 mA/cm² and 5.49 mA/cm². The short-circuit current is 2.28 mA/cm² and 2.88 mA/cm2 when only front side is illuminated with diffuse light. On a sunny day, when direct light falls on the front side and diffuse light falls on the rear side, the short-circuit current of the planar and optimally textured solar cell are 27.79 mA/cm² and 35.16 mA/cm², respectively. Short-circuit current are 25.73 mA/cm2 and 32.65 mA/cm² when only front side illuminated with direct light. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

The paper considers the issues of creating systems for monitoring and predictive modeling the state of hazardous phenomena and objects, discusses various options for their use for risk analysis. Using the example of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is shown how the discrepancy between forecast and reality leads (after a critical analysis) to the model modification or a revision of the accepted external impact scenario.

Abstract

The Hilbert transform plays an important role in the theory and practice of signal processing operations in continuous system theory because of its relevance to such problems as envelope detection and demodulation, as well as its use in relating the real and imaginary components, and the magnitude and phase components of spectra. The Hilbert transform is a multiplier operator and is widely used in the theory of Fourier transforms. It is also the main part of the theory of singular integral equations on the real line. Therefore, approximations of Hilbert transform are of great interest. Many papers have dealt with the numerical approximation of singular integrals in case of bounded intervals. On the other hand, the literature concerning the numerical integration on unbounded intervals is much sparser than the one on bounded intervals. There is very little literature concerning the case of Hilbert transform. This article is dedicated to the approximation of Hilbert transform in Hölder spaces by the operators introduced by V.R.Kress and E.Mortensen to approximate the Hilbert transform of analytic functions in a strip. Abstract

This study explores the variation of highly symmetric points in the band structure, revealing a shift from G-X symmetric K path to Z-G path under the influence of mechanical stress. Notably, the band gap decreased linearly with increasing mechanical stress, while the effective mass of the electron, heavy hole, and light hole exhibited different trends. The variation of band gap, effective mass of electron, heavy and light holes, electron affinity, dielectric constant in x and y direction has been found to be -0.1238 eV/GPa, -6E-3 1/GPa, -7.9E-3 1/GPa, 1.4E-2 1/GPa, 4.7e-2 eV/GPa, 7.3e-2 1/GPa and -10.3e-2 1/GPa, respectively.
