Não obstante a importância da antropologia jurídica para a discussão do direito, a disciplina consta em apenas pequena parte das grades curriculares dos cursos, a nível global. Por isso, o objetivo é valer-se de um caso concreto, que facilmente atinja acadêmicos em seus diferentes níveis de formação, para colocar em evidência, de forma exemplificativa, a fundamentalidade da promoção dessa disciplina nos currículos dos futuros operadores do direito. O caso eleito é a Lei brasileira de acesso ao patrimônio genético e aos conhecimentos tradicionais associados (Lei da Biodiversidade). Ao analisar os aspectos considerados como questionáveis da norma, o artigo sublinha o fato de que ela constitui um exemplo concreto do caráter ambivalente do processo de juridicização e, em consequência, da importância da antropologia jurídica para identificá-lo. Como o artigo não apenas discute a importância desta última nos currículos, mas também ele próprio é desenvolvido à luz dela, inicialmente parte-se de como foi o processo que conduziu a que a antropologia contribuísse à discussão do direito. Em segundo lugar, os aspectos controversos da lei são trazidos. Na sequência, dois autores da disciplina são mobilizados: primeiramente, o Professor de antropologia jurídica da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) Orlando Villas Bôas Filho, sobre o fato de que, não raras vezes - e como exemplificado no caso concreto -, o processo de juridicização pode acabar por atender interesses contrários aos dos povos indígenas. Isto feito, mobiliza-se o autor francês do Laboratório de Antropologia Jurídica de Paris (LAJP) Étienne Le Roy e sua Teoria do Multijuridismo, estabelecendo-se relações entre ela e o caso concreto eleito, em diálogo com intelectuais/líderes indígenas. A metodologia seguida foi a sistêmica e a técnica de pesquisa baseou-se na revisão bibliográfica e interpretação de normas legais e decretos regulamentares. Despite the importance of legal anthropology for the discussion of law, the discipline appears in only a small part of the course curricula, globally. Therefore, the objective is to use a concrete case, which easily reaches academics at their different levels of training, to highlight, in an exemplifying way, the fundamentality of promoting this discipline in the curricula of future legal professionals. The chosen case is the Brazilian Act on access to genetic heritage and associated traditional knowledge (Biodiversity Act). By analysing the aspects considered as questionable of the norm, the article highlights the fact that it constitutes a concrete example of the ambivalent nature of the juridicization process and, consequently, the importance of legal anthropology to identify it. As the article not only discusses the importance of the latter in curricula, but is itself also developed in light of it, it initially starts with how the process was that led anthropology to contribute to the discussion of law. Secondly, the controversial aspects of the Act are brought to the fore. Following this, two authors of the discipline are mobilized: firstly, the Professor of legal anthropology at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (USP) Orlando Villas Bôas Filho, on the fact that, not infrequently - and as exemplified in the concrete case -, the juridicization process may end up serving interests contrary to those of indigenous peoples. This done, the French author from the Laboratory of Legal Anthropology of Paris (LAJP) Étienne Le Roy and his Theory of Multijuridism are mobilized, establishing relationships between it and the concrete case chosen, in dialogue with indigenous intellectuals/leaders. The methodology followed was systemic and the research technique was based on literature review and interpretation of legal norms and regulatory decrees.

Racism and racial prejudice, considered a relic of obsolete and outdated social systems, is emerging in the depths of ultra-modern Western societies with different characteristics from the past but with a surprising and worrying virulence. These waves of prejudice and racism testify to the many fears that fill the horizons of advanced societies, undermining not only their internal reliability, but also just their democratic settings. This paper presents a critical review of Islamophobia as a racial prejudice, showing that two main definitions are at work: Islamophobia as xeno-racism or linked to the so-called clash of civilizations. Then, it presents the outcomes coming from a Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) survey led among a representative sample of the Italian population (n = 1,523) on Antisemitic and Islamophobic attitudes. The cogency and structure of anti-Muslim public discourse and connected mass attitudes, revealed by our investigation, confirm the emergency of these two relevant dimensions of Islamophobia, which claim for a more accurate definition of Islamophobia. Moreover, the distribution of anti-Semitic and Islamophobic attitudes illustrate an interesting overlapping of Islamophobia and Antisemitism which claims that racism is multi-targeted and that there is not so much options between Antisemitism and Islamophobia. Finally, we use three main variables—anomie, ethnocentrism, and authoritarianism—as predictors of Islamophobia and Antisemitism. We tested the strength of these three predictors with the aid of path technique based on multiple regression analysis, which helps to determine the direct and indirect impacts of certain independent variables on dependent variables in a hypothetical causal system.

Crystal-structure refinements were performed on clintonite-1M crystals [ideal composition [6]Ca[6][([Mg.sub.2]Al).sub.[4](Si[Al.sub.3])[O.sub.10][(OH).sub.2]] from skarns of the Predazzo-Monzoni area and Adamello Massif (northern Italy) with the aim of characterizing some aspects of their crystal chemistry and their relationships with closely associated phlogopite-1M. In the clintonite samples examined, the tetrahedral composition ranges from [Si.sub.1.19][Al.sub.2.78][Fe.sub.0.03] to [Si.sub.1.28][Al.sub.2.70][Fe.sub.0.02] indicating that the extent of the exchange vector [4][Al.sub.-1][6][Mg.sub.-2][4]Si[6](Al, ??), which links trioctahedral with dioctahedral Ca-bearing brittle micas, was very limited. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction data were collected and structure refinements completed in space group C2/m converging to [R.sub.obs] from 0.027 to 0.037 for six samples. The [4][Al.sup.3+] for [4][Si.sup.4+] substitution, which is close to 70%, produces more regular and flatter tetrahedra than in the case of phlogopite, together with an increase in the thickness and in the lateral dimensions of the sheet; the presence of [Al.sup.3+] in octahedral coordination, on the other hand, reduces the dimensions of both M1 and M2 sites with a consequent decrease in the thickness of the sheet. The volume, the flattening angle [Psi], and the central cation off-center shift (BLD) of the trans M1 octahedral site are greater than those of the cis M2 site, thus indicating a normal octahedral ordering. The high misfit value (from 1.187 to 1.326 [Angstrom]) between tetrahedral and octahedral sheets is mostly compensated by the distortion of the tetrahedral ring (tetrahedral rotation angle [Alpha]: 23.1 [less than or equal to] [Alpha] [less than or equal to] 24.9[degrees]). Relative to phlogopite, the interlayer separation in clintonite is reduced by about 0.6 [Angstrom].

The slow component of the output pulse of Semi-Insulating (SI) Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) particle detectors, which affects charge collection efficiency (cce), has been generally attributed to trapping/detrapping effects. However, most of the detectors analyzed in the literature can only be operated below the voltage [V.sub.d] necessary to extend the electric field all the way to the ohmic contact, making difficult to distinguish between the effect of the non-active part of the detector and that of trapping/detrapping. To do that, we have carefully analyzed the output signals of SI GaAs detectors, operated below and above [V.sub.d] and irradiated with 241Am [Alpha] particles. When the detector is biased below [V.sub.d] the output signals are affected also by the non-active part of the detector itself, while, when the detector is operated above [V.sub.d], the output signals are only affected by trapping/detrapping of charge carriers. We found that trapping/detrapping is only relevant for the hole contribution to the signal. Trapping/detrapping effects are in agreement with the characteristics of deep levels present in the detectors as analyzed by means of PICTS (Photo Induced Current Transient Spectroscopy) and P-DLTS (Photo Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy).

This study was an evaluation of the psychomotor profiles of 22 schizophrenic patients, investigated by means of a test battery developed for the assessment of psychomotor profiles of 10- to 12-year-old children. Analysis indicates that abnormal psychomotor development is an inherent feature of the disease and probably is antecedent to a full psychopathological picture.
