Purpose: The aim of this study is to develop an up-to-date measurement tool to evaluate the control and audit activities in all kinds of enterprises with expressions for control and audit within the scope of compliance audit.Methodology: Current expressions related to control and audit were selected from the item pool created based on the literature and scale development stages were applied. The data were then analyzed to evaluate the validity and reliability of the scale.Findings: The study developed a valid and reliable scale that can be used to measure control and audit activities in all types of businesses. The scale consists of five sub-dimensions: process control, materials and equipment, assessment, authorized person, standard procedures.Originality: The study is original in that it developed a scale that can be used to measure control and audit activities in all types of businesses, regardless of their characteristics. The scale is also up-to-date, as it reflects the latest thinking on control and audit practices. It can also be used by practitioners to assess the effectiveness of their control and audit systems.

Background: The most common psychological impact experienced by patients with burn injuries is depression. Several significant risk factors influence depression, including sociodemographic factors (gender, employment status, socioeconomic status, and marital status) and burn characteristics (burn depth, burn area, and total burn surface area). Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) was discovered as a new biomarker for depression detection. The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of sociodemographic factors, burn characteristics, and NLR with the severity of depression in patients with burn injuries. Methods: This analytic descriptive study was conducted at Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital from June 2022 to April 2023. Samples were assessed by a psychiatrist using the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale instrument, and a differential white blood count was calculated to obtain the NLR value. Results: The study sample consisted of 32 patients, including 27 males and 6 females. There was no correlation of sociodemographic factors and burn wound characteristics with the level of depression. NLR in patients with burn injuries who had no depression, mild depression, and moderate depression was 5.78 ± 2.23, 7.4 ± 1.77, and 13.04 ± 6.25, respectively. NLR was statistically significantly associated with the level of depression in patients with burn injuries (p = 0.001). Conclusion: There was no correlation of sociodemographic factors and burn characteristics with the level of depression. There was a significant correlation between NLR and the level of depression in patients with burn injuries at Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital.

Background: The Iraqi conflicts that have unfolded since 2013 have given rise to the most significant displacement crisis in the Middle East in more than six decades. Approximately 4.5 million Iraqis have been forced to leave their residences, resulting in Iraqis emerging as one of the globe's most extensively displaced communities. Aim: This study aims to assess the physical health problems of people displaced in Hamam Al-Alil Camp. Methods: The cross-sectional survey study design was performed in Hamam Al-Alil camps (Located on the western bank of the Tigris River in the Nineveh Governorate in Iraq, to the south of Mosul) for the period of 26th December 2017 throughout 1st March 2018. The sample of the study consists of (869) participants. Results: The study distributed 869 surveys which show that the estimation of females was (54%), while males (46%), most of the participants in this study were at age (18-30) years old, and the majority of them reported at least one chronic condition. Conclusions: This study concluded that most of the participants were female (54%), middle-aged, and reported a high prevalence of suffering from physical health symptoms such as hypertension, diabetes, and diarrhea. Recommendation: Resettlement partners should be mindful of the unique health challenges affecting this population to effectively meet the community's specific needs.

The current research aims to identify the reality of intellectual security among students at Tal Afar University. The descriptive approach was used as it is the most capable of describing a specific phenomenon. The sample consisted of (100) male and female students from the second stage of the mathematics department, morning study for the academic year (2023 - 2024). They were chosen randomly. To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers prepared an intellectual security scale, which consisted of (30) items with three alternatives (always - sometimes - rarely). The validity and reliability of the tool, as well as its psychometric properties, were verified. After analyzing the research data statistically using a one-sample test, the results showed: There is no statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) in the average scores of the intellectual security scale among students of the College of Basic Education, Tal Afar University. The researchers reached a set of conclusions and recommendations, as well as their proposals for future research in this aspect

Rock slope, slope height, rock discontinuity orientations, and undesigned excavated slopes are the primary contributing factors to the instability of the road in the mountain area. The eight rock slopes in Mergasur town, NE-Iraq, were chosen to be assessed for stability using the kinematic approach with DIPS v6.008 software to determine the type of slope failure and the Q-slope system applied to determine the stability condition. This is an efficient approach for classifying rock slope engineering. According to the kinematic results, stations 1–5 and 7 may have planar sliding, whereas stations 4–8 may experience wedge sliding, stations 1, 2, and 7-8 may experience flexural toppling, and station 3 may have direct toppling. In accordance with the Q-slope system results, stability conditions are determined by projecting the Q-slope and slope angle values on the Q-slope chart.

تم إجراء البحث لتوضيح أهمية البروبوليس حيث تعتبر تربية النحل من أقدم النشاطات التي مارسها الانسان في بلدان حوض المتوسط ومن هذه البلدان سوريا، وذلك لمناخها المعتدل وغطائها النباتي المتنوع ومصادر مياهها الكثيرة حيث شهد هذا النشاط تطوراُ ملحوظاً في السنوات الأخيرة. البروبوليس هو عبارة عن خليط من مواد راتنجية صمغية يجمعها النحل من قلف الأشجار وبراعم بعض النباتات، ويضيف إليها بعض المواد مثل الإفرازات اللعابية والشمعية التي يخرجها النحل من بطونه، ويستخدم النحل البروبوليس كمادة بنائية لتثبيت الأقراص الشمعية أو مادة مطهرة للخلية. ولذلك هدف البحث إلى تقدير المركبات الفينولية و تعيين المحتوى من الفلافونويدات في البروبوليس ودراسة الفعالية المضادة للأكسدة له عن طريق اختبار DPPH. أثبتت النتائج غنى البروبوليس الذي تم جمعه بالفينولات الكلية والتي بلغ متوسط كميتها في كل النوعين (ساحلي , جببلي ) 102.57 mg/g) , mg/g 98.67), وكذلك بلغ متوسط الفلافونويدات 74.49 mg/g) , mg/g 67.83 ) في النوع الساحلي و الجبلي على التوالي, أما قيمة I% (النسبة المئوية لتثبيط الجذر الحر) فبلغت أعلى قيمة لها عند العينة B2 91.3% تلتها العينة C1 بقيمة وصلت الى 90.4 % و أدنى قيمة عند العينة B3 بقيمة 77.9 % مما يجعل منه مادة هامة جداً يجب الاستفادة من خصائصه المميزة في القدرة المضادة للأكسدة و محاربة الجذور الحرة.

Background Cardiovascular disease (CVD) continues to be the foremost mortality internationally. Cardiac rehabilitation has proven as an effective program in reducing CVD burden. Participation in cardiac rehabilitation programs is very low. Digital health intervention emerged as an alternative method to deliver Cardiac rehabilitation. This review aimed to investigate the impact of digital health intervention on the outcomes of interest Methods the following databases: PubMed, CINAHL, Scopus, and Cochrane Library have been searched to retrieve randomized controlled trials that examine the impact of digital health intervention on blood pressure, body mass index, lipid profile, blood glucose, Six-Minute Walk Test, and peak oxygen consumption. filters were set to include studies published in English between 2000-2023. Results Nineteen studies were included in this review. Six-Minute Walk Test (MD = 16.70; 95% CI: 6.00 to 27.39, p = 0.000) and maximal oxygen consumption (SMD = 0.27; 95% CI: 0.08 to 0.45, p = 0.004) significantly improved following digital health intervention, after employing the sensitivity analysis significant improvement was observed in systolic (MD = -2.54; 95% CI: -4.98 to -0.11, p = 0.04) and diastolic blood pressure (SMD = -2.0182; 95% CI: -3.9436 to -0.0928, p = 0.04) favoring experimental groups. Subgroup analysis revealed significant improvement in quality of life after three months of follow-up (SMD = 0.18; 95% CI: 0.05 to 0.31, p = 0.00), no significant differences have been observed in body mass index, lipid profile, and blood glucose. Conclusion The findings emphasize the significant impact of digital vs CBCR or usual care on physical capacity, blood pressure, and quality of life. Despite the non-statistically significant differences in body mass index and lipid profile, the comparable effect between the two methods suggests the superiority of digital over CBCR or usual care due to its convenient nature, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness.

Assessing the effectiveness of radical and incremental innovation in SMEs in Eastern European countries is a significant issue in regional economics. In contrast, radical innovation entails the creation of wholly novel goods or organization processes that establish new markets. Progressive enhancements to current goods and processes are referred to as incremental innovation. This study explains the influence of incremental and radical innovation on performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in Eastern Europe. Employing EUROSTAT data from 2012 to 2021 using regression analysis and a graphical model, we examined basic, radical, and incremental innovation and total researcher performance in SMEs, which could enormously affect business performance in Eastern European countries. Our findings indicated that radical, incremental innovation and total research are all favourably related to the performance of SMEs and an approach to studying various innovations and their impact on SMEs. The particular performance effects of radical and incremental innovations in Eastern European SMEs might vary considerably. To give more specific knowledge and suggestions for SMEs, empirical investigations and comprehensive research are required. Our results can contribute to SMEs both theoretically and practically, providing fresh theoretical perspectives for scholars and helpful management consequences for administrators of SMEs in developing countries.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Mobile Learning Berbantu Puzzle, menguji kelayakan Mobile Learning Berbantu Puzzle, serta menguji keefektifan Mobile Learning Berbantu Puzzle terhadap materi IPAS daur hidup hewan pada siswa kelas V SDN 2 Redin Purworejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis research and development (R&D). Prosedur pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji kelayakan dan uji keefektifan media. Teknik analisis data awal dengan Uji normalitas dan analisis data akhir dengan Uji t berpasangan dan Uji N-gain. Hasil uji t dua sampel dependen pada tes akhir kelompok besar diperoleh nilai = 16,929 dan = 2,093. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh = 16,929 > = 2,093 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima atau diartikan bahwa Game Puzzle Mobile Learning efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS pada materi daur hidup hewan. N-gain pada uji kelompok kecil dan besar sebesar 0,80 dan 0,75 dan termasuk pada kategori tinggi. Peneliti menyarankan kepada guru untuk dapat menggunakan Mobile Learning Berbantu Puzzle sebagai salah satu media untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi sejenis.

Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) have the potential to increase the financial reliability of digital payment systems by offering direct interactions between payment system participants, including institutional and private ones. To unfold the potential of CBDCs, CBDC systems need to offer confidential payments to protect participants from surveillance. However, confidential payments lay at odds with requirements for transparency of payments in CBDC systems to enforce regulations, such as anti-money laundering (AML) and countering the financing of terrorism (CFT) regulations. This work presents HybCBDC, a CBDC system design that tackles the tension between confidential payments and the enforceability of regulations. We iteratively refined HybCBDC in three rounds of focus group interviews with finance and industry experts. HybCBDC offers cash-like confidential payments and means to enforce regulations. HybCBDC builds on a hybrid access model for using monetary items of a CBDC and combines an account-based and an unspent transaction output (UTXO)-based subsystem to record payments. The main purpose of this work is to support the design of CBDC systems that can tackle the tension between offering payments with cash-like confidentiality while allowing for enforcement of regulations related to AML and CFT.

This Community Service aims to create and foster a culture of writing literacy in elementary school students. The method applied is a mentoring method with an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The writing literacy assistance in this program focuses on two projects: wall magazines and student bulletins. Participants in this assistance and service were teachers and students at the Penggerak Elementary School (SD), Rejoagung Trangkil. The program of community assistance is divided into four activities which involves Training of Trainers (ToT), Writing Literacy Action Plan (RALMe), School Publication Plan (RPS), and Project Based Literacy Assistance in schools (PLBP). The results obtained were the realization of a project-based writing literacy program and the publication of wall magazines and bulletins at SD 01 Rejoagung.

IntroductionDiffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH) is a devastating disease process with 50-100% mortality in oncology and hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT) recipients. High concentrations of tissue factors have been demonstrated in the alveolar wall in acute respiratory distress syndrome and DAH, along with elevated levels of tissue factor pathway inhibitors. Activated recombinant factor VII (rFVIIa) activates the tissue factor pathway, successfully overcoming the tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI) inhibition of activation of Factor X. Intrapulmonary administration (IP) of rFVIIa in DAH is described in small case series with successful hemostasis and minimal complications.MethodsWe completed a single center retrospective descriptive study of treatment with rFVIIa and outcomes in pediatric oncology and HCT patients with pulmonary hemorrhage at a quaternary hematology/oncology hospital between 2011 and 2019. We aimed to assess the safety and survival of patients with pulmonary hemorrhage who received of IP rFVIIa.ResultsWe identified 31 patients with pulmonary hemorrhage requiring ICU care. Thirteen patients received intrapulmonary rFVIIa, while eighteen patients did not. Overall, 13 of 31 patients (41.9%) survived ICU discharge. ICU survival (n=6) amongst those in the IP rFVIIa group was 46.2% compared to 38.9% (n=7) in those who did not receive IP therapy (p=0.69). Hospital survival was 46.2% in the IP group and 27.8% in the non-IP group (p=0.45). There were no adverse events noted from use of IP FVIIa.ConclusionsIntrapulmonary rFVIIa can be safely administered in pediatric oncology patients with pulmonary hemorrhage and should be considered a viable treatment option for these patients.

This research aims to reveal the strategy of public relations in building the image of Madrasah. The research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah NU 05 Gemuh, using a qualitative approach and triangulation techniques. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and field observations. Sources of informants involved school principals, public relations, teachers, and student parents. The research results show that the public relations manager's strategy in building the Madrasah image involves the "Madrasah Greets" program. This approach involves understanding the internal and external conditions of the Madrasah, which is adopted through the Aida theory. Madrasah Greeting is implemented with steps such as understanding the image of the Madrasah from the perspective of attention, public interest, desire, and action. The next step is the implementation of Madrasah consistency and, finally, the Madrasah control program. The implications of this research are the realization of quality Madrasah capable of meeting the educational needs of the community, improving the quality of public education, making Madrasah a center for innovative and creative learning activities, as well as increasing confidence in the existence of Madrasah and eliminating arguments as a second option.

Background: There are multiple pieces of evidence in the literature that coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has a pronounced effect on physiological health. There is little existing literature that has studied the pandemic's impact on adhesive capsulitis (AC) incidence. This study aimed to compare the incidence of primary AC before and during the pandemic. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was done to establish the incidence of primary AC during the COVID-19 pandemic, from March 2020 to March 2021, the pandemic period, and from March 2019 to March 2020, the control period. During these periods, all patients diagnosed with primary AC were included. Patients were also categorized into three different treatment groups according to corticosteroid injection status (none, 1 injection, and 2 injections). The waiting time for the appointment was calculated as a possible confounding factor. Statistical analysis used the chi-square for categorical variables and the Student t test for continuous variables. Results: There were 69 patients diagnosed with primary AC out of 704 new referrals during the pandemic. One year earlier, a total of 73 patients were diagnosed with primary AC out of 1148 new referrals. Representing a relative increase of 3.5% (P = .086) in the incidence of primary AC. No significant differences were found between the control and the pandemic groups in regard to the distribution of patients per treatment group (P = .13), age (P = .49), sex (P = .21), laterality (P = .54), diabetic disease (P = .45), and thyroid disease (P = .62). Conclusion: There was a nonstatistically significant increase in the incidence of primary AC during the COVID-19 pandemic. No other significant differences were found. Further research is still needed to evaluate the relationship between the COVID-19 pandemic and AC.

The valve, armature, and armature pin are critical factors influencing the hydraulic pressure differences in diesel injectors, and are essential for injection and backflow quantity control. These components play crucial roles in enhancing energy efficiency and reducing engine emissions. This experimental study investigated the effects of clearance between the valve, armature, and armature pin guidance. Forty-nine 2000 bar common-rail injectors (Bosch) were tested in calibrated stations. Injection quantities were assessed at both minimum and maximum operational pressures. Backflow rates were specifically examined at maximum pressure. A correlation matrix was created using Python to analyze the relationship between inputs and outputs, identifying dominant characteristics that define injector behavior. Increased injector precision correlated with reduced fuel consumption and enhanced energy efficiency. The study found that the effect of clearance between the armature and armature pins was more significant than that between the valve and armature. Injection quantities were observed to increase with pressure, and no critical difference in injection quantities was noted among different diameter groups at the minimum pressure point. Backflow quantities were consistent within groups when the armature–armature pin and valve–armature clearances were minimized.

Abstract The imbibition process can be considered one of the most important mechanisms during the production of naturally fractured formations. In this process, the hydrocarbon production in the matrix blocks surrounded by water-filled fractures can be described by a recovery curve. Different equations have been proposed to describe the recovery process during the imbibition. This work presents a detailed analysis of the performance of two- and three-parameter models including Weibull, Probit, Logit-Hill, one-hit-multi-target (1HMT), and all-hit-multi-target (AHMT). These models were tested against different experimental and numerical simulation data in a wide range of rock and fluid properties and matrix dimensions. Particularly, the functionality of these models was examined in early, mid, and late times. It should be highlighted that the three-parameter models (1HMT and AHMT) have not been used previously to describe the imbibition data. The results show that the three-parameter models are more accurate to describe the imbibition recovery trends compared to the two-parameter models. Moreover, the analysis revealed that the AHMT model is better for the early-time data (Error = 0.5), the Logit-Hill model is more accurate for the mid-time data (Error = 0.075), and the Weibull model can best fit the late-time imbibition data (Error = 0.04). Finally, the best model for predicting the recovery factor in fractured reservoirs is model 1HMT because the lowest average RMSE (Root-Mean-Square Error) value of 0.0165 was obtained. The findings of this work can be used to more precisely select the model to curve fit the imbibition data.

Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah: Bagaimana konsep internalisasi Pendidikan Islam Bagi Perempuan Melalui Program Keputrian di MTs Futuuhiyah Cipanas Cianjur, menjadi faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam pelaksanaan Keputrian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep internalisasi Pendidikan Islam Bagi Perempuan Melalui Keputrian, faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam pelaksanaan program Keputrian. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: Konsep internalisasi pendidikan Islam bagi perempuan melalui 3 tahap yaitu penerapan, apresiasi dan pemahaman, Faktor penghambat dalam kegiatan perempuan ini adalah kesadaran siswa, perkembangan teknologi dan lingkungan siswa. Sedangkan faktor pendukungnya ada pada peraturan sekolah dan kerjasama seluruh anggota sekolah.

In this paper, a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) antenna for future mobile phone applications operating in sub-6 GHza using a novel combination of an E-shaped slot placed on the ground plane and an F-shaped probe is used to achieve a dual-band independently tunable antenna. The proposed antenna is not only self-isolated but it has also effectively achieved high isolation of greater than 17 dB in both 3.5 GHz (3.4 – 3.6 GHz) and 4.7 GHz (4.6 – 4.87 GHz) frequency bands for 8-element MIMO antenna configuration for 5G smartphones. The simple yet compact size of (0.035 λ0 Image 1 0.23 λ0), of the slot antenna produces a balanced slot mode which not only reduces the ground effects but also improves the isolation between two adjacent input ports. The novelty of the proposed dual-band MIMO antenna is its independent control of each band across a wide frequency band and results demonstrate higher efficiency (64% – 71%) and diversity gain performance in both frequency bands. Furthermore, the antenna is designed by the meticulous configurations of 8-antenna elements without employing any external decoupling structure to attain the desired polarization diversity. The prototype of this 8-element MIMO antenna is also fabricated and measured to validate its simulated performance. The simple structure of the proposed design and high efficiency makes it a promising candidate for 5G smartphones.

Penggunaan lahan merupakan hasil akhir dari setiap bentuk campur tangan (intervensi) manusia yang bersifat dinamis. Cara mengetahui bentuk tutupan dan penggunaan lahan dengan menggunakan drone. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan dan mengidentifikasi tutupan dan penggunaan lahan serta mengetahui nilai akurasi hasil interpretasi foto udara tutupan dan penggunaan lahan di Desa Jonggon Jaya. Hasil yang diharapkan memberikan informasi terkait hasil pembuatan peta tutupan dan penggunaan lahan dan memberi informasi bentuk tutupan dan penggunaan lahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan drone dan Software ArcGis Pro yang menghasilkan kelas tutupan dan penggunaan lahan yang mengacu pada Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 7645-1:2014 tentang Klasifikasi Penutup Lahan. Hasil pemetaan tutupan dan penggunaan lahan di Desa Jonggon Jaya menghasilkan 29 Kelas tutupan dan penggunaan lahan diperoleh dari hasil interpretasi foto udara. Hutan Tanaman Industri (HTI) merupakan tutupan dan penggunaan lahan terluas dengan luasan 5096,30 ha atau 48,463% dan sungai menjadi tutupan dan penggunaan lahan terkecil dengan luasan 0,32 ha atau 0,003%. Hasil uji akurasi dengan rumus overall accuracy pada hasil interpretasi foto udara sebesar 95,18% data yang sesuai dengan kondisi di lapangan atau sebanyak 138 titik validasi yang sesuai dari 145 titik validasi keseluruhan, sedangkan kesalahan interpretasi sebesar 4,82% atau 7 titik validasi.

BackgroundRecent advances in hardware and software enabled the use of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for analysis of complex data in a wide range of daily-life use cases. We aim to explore the benefits of applying AI to a specific use case in transplant nephrology: risk prediction for severe posttransplant events. For the first time, we combine multinational real-world transplant data, which require specific legal and technical protection measures. ObjectiveThe German-Canadian NephroCAGE consortium aims to develop and evaluate specific processes, software tools, and methods to (1) combine transplant data of more than 8000 cases over the past decades from leading transplant centers in Germany and Canada, (2) implement specific measures to protect sensitive transplant data, and (3) use multinational data as a foundation for developing high-quality prognostic AI models. MethodsTo protect sensitive transplant data addressing the first and second objectives, we aim to implement a decentralized NephroCAGE federated learning infrastructure upon a private blockchain. Our NephroCAGE federated learning infrastructure enables a switch of paradigms: instead of pooling sensitive data into a central database for analysis, it enables the transfer of clinical prediction models (CPMs) to clinical sites for local data analyses. Thus, sensitive transplant data reside protected in their original sites while the comparable small algorithms are exchanged instead. For our third objective, we will compare the performance of selected AI algorithms, for example, random forest and extreme gradient boosting, as foundation for CPMs to predict severe short- and long-term posttransplant risks, for example, graft failure or mortality. The CPMs will be trained on donor and recipient data from retrospective cohorts of kidney transplant patients. ResultsWe have received initial funding for NephroCAGE in February 2021. All clinical partners have applied for and received ethics approval as of 2022. The process of exploration of clinical transplant database for variable extraction has started at all the centers in 2022. In total, 8120 patient records have been retrieved as of August 2023. The development and validation of CPMs is ongoing as of 2023. Analisis data teknis deskriptif kualitatif yang digunakan merupakan proses dalam menganalisis, meringkas, dan menggambarkan situasi dan kondisi terkini yang telah dikumpulkan tentang permasalahan yang diteliti dan terjadi di lapangan. Dari hasil pengumpulan data, analisis, dan pembahasan terhadap keseluruhan penelitian dapat disimpulkan: 1. Provinsi Kalimantan Utara belum memiliki kebijakan khusus tentang implementasi REDD+, sebagai acuan dasarj telah diterbitkan Peraturan Gubernur Kalimantan Utara tentang Rencana Aksi Daerah Penurunan Emisi Gas Rumah Kaca (RAD-GRK) dan Rencana Aksi Daerah Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (RAD-TPB) serta 8 (delapan) kategori kebijakan yang relevan dan mendukung pelaksanaan persiapan REDD+ ; 2. Antimicrobial resistance is a global healthcare threat with significant clinical and economic consequences peaking at secondary and tertiary care hospitals where multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria (MDR GNB) lead to poor outcomes. A prospective study was conducted between January and December 2019 for all invasive bloodstream infections (BSIs) secondary to MDR GNB in Qatar identified during routine microbiological service to examine their clinical, microbiological, and genomic characteristics. Out of 3238 episodes of GNB BSIs, the prevalence of MDR GNB was 13% (429/3238). The predominant MDR pathogens were Escherichia coli (62.7%), Klebsiella pneumoniae (20.4%), Salmonella species (6.6%), and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (5.3%), while out of 245 clinically evaluated patients, the majority were adult males, with the elderly constituting almost one-third of the cohort and with highest observed risk for prolonged hospital stays. The risk factors identified included multiple comorbidities, recent healthcare contact, previous antimicrobial therapy, and admission to critical care. The in-hospital mortality rate was recorded at 25.7%, associated with multiple comorbidities, admission to critical care, and the acquisition of MDR Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Resistant pathogens demonstrated high levels of antimicrobial resistance but noticeable susceptibility to amikacin and carbapenems. Genomic analysis revealed that Escherichia coli ST131 and Salmonella enterica ST1 were the predominant clones not observed with other pathogens.

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic disturbed the world's Agri-businesses. Several economies are attempting to demonstrate attempts to maintain agribusiness, the agriculture industry, and marketplaces, but distribution networks, access to markets, and affordable farm goods are still vulnerable. The poor and various disempowered populations, particularly those with lower buying power, have been harmed by the COVID-19 outbreak. This study examines the productivity of Central Europe's agricultural SMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic. A predictive model between independent and dependent factors was used to determine and forecast the index or risk for future agricultural SMEs' functioning. The Central European agricultural SMEs' performance indicators were used, such as agricultural output, production of agriculture goods and services, vegetable and horticultural products, fixed capital consumption, agriculture determinants' actual income index, absolute net agriculture business income index, and net agricultural entrepreneurial income. Our results reveal pre and post-COVID-19 agribusiness analyses and their implications for food distribution and sustainability. Our findings also revealed a widespread influence of COVID-19 on Central European areas. The study findings can help agricultural enterprises and policymakers manage the COVID-19 outbreak by providing essential recommendations and consequences.

Third molar impaction is considered a prevalent issue. The research aimed to study the pervasiveness and pattern of impaction in Karbala/Iraqi population. Orthopantomograms were studied regarding its angulation, impaction depth, and correlation with ramus. The outcomes manifested that the prevalence of 3rd impacted molars was 34.71%, with the proportion of male to female as 0.83:1. Impacted mandibular 3rd molars were significantly encountered. The prevalence of vertical angulation, mesioangular, horizontal, and inverted were significantly associated with the impacted mandibular 3rd molars (P < 0.05). However, the prevalence of distoangular and bucco/lingual was significantly associated (P < 0.05) with the upper impacted 3rd molars. Level C of impaction was significantly (P < 0.05) the most typical level in the maxilla impacted the 3rd molar, and level A and level B of impaction were significantly (P < 0.05) the most prevalent level correlated with the mandibular 3rd molar impaction. Class II was significantly (P < 0.05) the frequently occurring condition subsequent to Classes III and I. In conclusion, the impaction of 3rd molars was significantly predominant in females and lower jaw. The vertical angulation, level C of impaction associated with maxillary 3rd molars and levels A and B of impaction related with mandibular 3rd molars, and Class II are the most encountered conditions.

Abstract Background Image processing technologies have been developed in the past two decades to help clinicians diagnose tumors using medical images. Computer-aided diagnosis systems (CADs) have proven their ability to increase clinicians' detection rate of positive cases by 10% and have become integrated with many medical imaging systems and technologies. The study aimed to develop a hybrid algorithm to help doctors detect brain tumors from magnetic resonance imaging images. Results We were able to reach a detection accuracy of 96.6% and design a computer application that allows the user to enter the image and identify the location of the tumor in it if it exists with many additional features. Conclusions This approach can be improved by using different segmentation techniques, extracting additional features, or using other classifiers.

Burnt clay brick is one of the oldest and most widely used construction materials. The production of burnt clay bricks with various waste materials can help reduce the environmental hazards and improve brick performance at low manufacturing costs, thereby leading towards more sustainable construction. This research aimed to evaluate the effect of using waste marble powder (WMP) in varying percentages, i.e., 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15%, by weight of clay in an industrial brick kiln plant. A range of mechanical and durability tests was performed on the raw material, i.e., clay, WMP, and bricks, to quantify their performance. It was observed that incorporation of WMP resulted in a reduced unit weight of the bricks, making the structure lighter in weight. Moreover, compressive strength and freeze thaw test results for all the brick specimens and sulfate tests for the brick specimens with 12% WMP addition were within the Building Code of Pakistan, and ASTM C67 prescribed limits. Finally, it can be concluded that WMP up to 12% by weight of clay can be incorporated to prepare burnt clay bricks, which can reduce the environmental waste to achieve sustainability and economy for the brick industry.

The detailed geomorphological study and mapping were done for Erbil Masterplan layout 2030, in order to be useful in planning urban development and various land uses to be in harmony with the instant expansion of Erbil city. The geomorphological map was constructed a scale1:320000 according to the basic geomorphic processes; structural, denudational, and fluvial origin. Erbil city Urban area is situated in the Low Folded Zone, surrounded from the north by Pirmam anticline –Bastora stream and from the south by Dimeer anticline -Shamamk plain and from the west bordered by Greater Zab River and from the east by hills and badlands of Shalgha-Bestana area. The pattern of processes divided the study area into three main landscapes that are different in rock exposure,topography,tectonics, and drainage pattern:Hilly and mountainous landscape zone; Mound and High Land Zone and; Alluvial plain landscape zone. The most complex landscape and landform of structural and erosional origin occupied the north, north-eastern, and western because of endogentic and exogenitic activity (uplifting, folding, faulting, high rate of rainfall and dense drainage pattern). The other area mostly contains landform of fluvial origin like alluvial plain, alluvial fan, and river terraces. Generally, the slope directions are towards the south and southwest, therefore the urban area mostly faced flood hazards during strong rainfall. For the first time in detail geomorphological map with different significant landforms are plotted using field data and various satellite images and digital elevation models,such as Aster, Quick Bird and google earth.

The morphotectonic analysis was done of the Roste valley, within the Imbricated and Suture zone of the Zagros Fold,Thrust Belt. The formations of the Imbricate Zone are of Jurassic and Cretaceous ages and the Suture Zone is covered by Zagros nappes of the Tertiary period. The Zagros Fold-Thrust Belt passes through several stages and tectonic phases. During the last stage of the Zagros Fold-Thrust Belt development from the Savian to Valahian and Pasadenian tectonic phases, the study area is influenced by active tectonic activity which is reflected by geomorphic properties in each subbasin. The migration of the Roste stream across oblique fault leaves 7 levels of the river terraces which are also signs of Neotectonics. The study area is divided into 18 subbasins for the morphotectonic analysis through applying geomorphic indices (HI, SL, Vf, Af, Smf, and Bs) and accordingly the index of relative active tectonics was indicted. The morphotectonic study reveals that the index of relative active tectonics is higher in the Suture Zone than in the Imbricated Zone. The index of relative active tectonics of the Suture Zone’s subbasins ranges from high to very high neotectonics activity (1.67-1.17), whereas of the Imbricate Zone’s subbasins ranges from medium to high active tectonic activity (2.33-1.67). The results are related to morphotectonic indices that show the balance between the tectonic and erosion process.

The research aims to study the estimation of the volume of water losses from surface streams in each of Lake Habbaniyah، and to achieve this goal the study adopted a descriptive approach to explain the reasons for the increase in the volume of water losses and study the factors affecting them. different، and it was found in general through the research that there are large amounts of surface water wasted through several processes، the most important of which are (leakage – evaporation. Where the latter worked to increase the amount of water losses from surface streams because the amount of evaporation from a water body during a specific period depends on two groups، the first includes climatic factors that carry between its folds، solar radiation، temperature، relative humidity ... etc.) and the second group includes factors related to The nature of water and its characteristics in terms of water quality، water depth، size and shape of water bodies. The results proved that both groups worked directly to increase the amount of water losses and thus led to a decrease in the amount of water in the study area، so this study came as an attempt to clarify the reality of the possibilities available to estimate the volume of water losses in Lake Habbaniyah، and its role in economic evaluation by working to reduce evaporation and shortage rates The occurrence of water، which leads to hitting the existing tourism in that region.

This study aims to understand the mutual relationship between teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes. The site of this research is SMA NU 01 Al-Hidayah Kendal. This research uses a qualitative case study approach, where the researcher tries to understand the meaning behind the phenomena that occur in the field through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the mutual relationship built by the school to make teachers and parents more intimate in improving student learning outcomes was carried out through careful and systematic planning by involving all school parties to obtain optimal results. The planning carried out then carried out optimally and carried out jointly by the school with a mutualistic symbiotic principle and continued with an evaluation with the principle of continuous improvement.

Objective: The present study aimed to assess the prevalence of various types of foot ulcers among diabetic patients and their association with age and gender. Methods: This prospective cross-sectional study was conducted at the Medicine Department of Pakistan July to December 2019. A total of 133 diabetic patients presenting at the study site for foot ulcer treatment were recruited. The foot ulcers were classified as neuropathic, ischemic ulcer, or neuroischemic, and the severity/degree of the ulcer was determined using an internally developed ten points scoring system. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 22.0. Results: There was a high prevalence of neuropathic ulcers (69.2%) among the enrolled diabetic patients, followed by ischemic ulcer (33.1%) and neuroischemic (24.8%). The mean neuropathic scores were significantly high among males (4.84 ± 2.09) than females (4.02 ± 1.78) (p=0.02). It was also higher in those aged 50 years or greater (4.76 ± 1.91) as compared to those with less than 50 years of age (3.79 ± 2.24) (p=0.036). Conclusion: The most prevalent type of diabetic foot ulcer was the neuropathic type. Increased severity of these foot ulcers was observed with advancing age.

Three species of lobsters including Panulirus penicillatus, P. homarus and P. longipes are harvested simultaneously by traps in Gunungkidul waters, Indonesia. The management restriction for only one species of lobster can be dangerous for the other species. A multi-species assessment was conducted to investigate the stock status indicators and to develop the management tools. Time-series catch and effort data for the three aggregated lobsters were used to apply a surplus production model to forecast the stock rebuilding scenarios. The recent fishing effort was higher than the effort at maximum sustainable yield and the recent aggregated stock biomass was less than the optimal biomass. Growth overfishing and recruitment overfishing were detected based on the multi-species yield per recruit and the spawning potential ratio analysis. In this multi-species fishery, P. penicillatus has the lowest spawning stock biomass, thus it could be considered as the weakest stock to develop the lobster fishery management in Gunungkidul waters. For the sustainability of multi-species fishery in Gunungkidul waters, a 29% reduction of recent effort, applying the TAC (Total allowable catch) to be 26,145 kg and setting the optimal mesh size should be taken into consideration as rational fisheries management tools.

Abstract Background The aim of this study was to observe the effectiveness of botulinum toxin type A (BTA) in the treatment of intermittent exotropia (IXT) in children compared with strabismus surgery. Methods One hundred forty-four children with a clear diagnosis of IXT and an indication for surgery were eligible for inclusion. Subjects were divided into two groups based on parental decision: the BTA injection group (injection group) or the conventional surgery group (surgery group). All cases were followed up for 6 months. The primary outcome was a comparison of the success rate (deviation between − 10 and + 10 PD) between the two groups at 6 months after the initial treatment. Secondary outcomes included change in deviation, visual function, and post-surgical complications. Results Seventy-two patients were enrolled in each group. At 6-month follow-up, there was no significant difference in the success rate between the injection and surgery groups (52.8% vs 66.7%, P = 0.13; postoperative deviation − 12.22 ± 10.80 PD vs − 9.17 ± 10.30 PD, P = 0.09). The binocular Visual function, except for near stereoacuity, improved after treatment in both groups, while the fusion recovery rate was higher in the surgical group (68.1% vs 95.8%, P

Vehicular Fog Computing (VFC) facilitates the deployment of distributed, latency-aware services, residing between smart vehicles and cloud services. However, VFC systems are exposed to manifold security threats, putting human life at risk. Knowledge on such threats is scattered and lacks empirical validation. We performed an extensive threat assessment by reviewing literature and conducting expert interviews, leading to a comprehensive threat model with 33 attacks and example security mitigation strategies, among others. We thereby synthesize and extend prior research; provide rich descriptions for threats; and raise awareness of physical attacks that underline importance of the cyber-physical manifestation of VFC.

This research work proposes a cost-effective Hybrid Active Harmonic Filter (HAHF) method to mitigate current harmonics in an industrial or commercial power network. The proposed HAHF is based on a Silicon-Controlled Rectifier with an Electronic Inductor (SCR-EI) topology with a reduced number of fully active switches and a better harmonic performance. A new shifted-pulse current modulation method is proposed to cancel harmonics caused by other converters. A Particle Swarm Optimisation (PSO) algorithm is implemented to optimise the modulation parameters and minimise the total harmonics. A lab prototype is implemented in the laboratory to validate the proposed mathematical method and simulation results.

In recent years, the advent of computer technology and software tools have made it available for more complicated and fully operational facilities for corpus linguistics. Thanks to these developments, the compilation of large collections of naturally occurring texts was made more accurately. In line with these developments, the current study aimed to investigate the usage patterns of three- to four-word sequences in a learner corpus composed of two semesters written data from 85 English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. The data was analysed by examining collective trends in terms of usage patterns of formulaic sequences across different time intervals. In the collection of data, the frequency approach was used and the most frequent three- and four-word recurrent formulas were extracted from each sub-corpus of the learner corpora in two groups and these sequences were classified structurally and functionally. Then, the use of these sequences was compared across native (LOCNESS) and non-native data by using the Sketch Engine corpus tool. The findings suggested that although formulaic sequences were used frequently in both learner groups, the frequency and type of these formulaic sequences were less diverse, and the number of formulaic sequences was limited when compared with the native data.

Abstract Background Decreased best corrected visual acuity among children should be treated early in life, and vision screening in schoolchildren is an efficient and feasible selection for developing countries. Thus, the screening accuracy of different visual acuity tests is the key point for making vision screening strategies. The present study aims to explore the screening accuracy of uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) and pin-hole corrected visual acuity (PCVA) using different vision chart in the detection of decreased best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) among schoolchildren. Methods Grade one primary schoolchildren in urban Lhasa with data of UCVA using tumbling E chart (UCVAE), PCVA using tumbling E chart (PCVAE), UCVA using Lea Symbols chart (UCVAL), PCVA using Lea Symbols chart (PCVAL) and BCVA using Lea Symbols chart were reviewed. Decreased BCVA was defined as BCVA≤20/32(≥0.2 logMAR). Difference, reliability, and diagnostic parameters in the detection of decreased BCVA of different visual acuity results were analyzed. Results Overall, 1672 children aged 6.58 ± 0.44 years fulfilling the criteria. The prevalence of decreased BCVA was 6.8%. Although no significant differences were found between UCVAE vs UCVAL (p = .84, paired t-test) as well as PCVAE vs PCVAL (p = .24), the ICC between them was low (0.68 and 0.57, respectively). The average difference between BCVA and UCVAE, UCVAL, PCVAE, PCVAL was logMAR -0.08 (− 0.37, 0.21), − 0.08 (− 0.29, 0.17), − 0.05 (− 0.30, 0.19), − 0.06 (− 0.23, 0.12) using Bland–Altman method. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of UCVAE, PCVAE, UCVAL, PCVAL for the detection of decreased BCVA was 0.78 (0.73, 0.84), 0.76 (0.71, 0.82), 0.95 (0.94, 0.96), 0.93 (0.91, 0.95), respectively. Conclusion Pinhole does not increase the screening accuracy of detecting decreased BCVA in grade one primary schoolchildren. Visual acuity test using Lea Symbols is more efficient than Tumbling E in the screening of that age. Mole crabs are part of the superfamily Hippoidea and members of the family Hippidae Latreille,1825, which inhabit sandy beaches, particularly the swash zone. This condition is commonly found in the Banda Islands. The purpose of this research was to determine the species diversity of the genus Hippa Fabricius, 1787 in the Banda Islands. We identified the species by its morphological characters. Sample collection was done by purposive sampling method. Based on the study's findings, four of the five previously reported species in Indonesia were identified. Hippa ovalis (A. Milne-Edwards, 1862), H. adaactyla Fabricius, 1787, H. marmorata (Hombron & Jacquinot, 1846), and H. celaeno (De Man, 1896) were the species obtained. Hippa cf. ovalis and Hippa cf. marmorata are both presumed to be new species. This study includes descriptions of the two species. Three slopes of 100 m long are defined in young secondary forest with gentle and slightly steep slopes. In each part of the slope, we built 1 (one) PUP of 20m x 20m which is consisted of 3 (three) Sub PUPs of 10m x 10m to represent the density of sparse, medium, and dense understorey and 1m x 1m of sub-PUPs for litter harvesting. In 18 (eighteen) PUPs, each 54 (fifty-four) Sub PUPs and Sub sub PUPs, were made in this study. The HPFU area is dominated by young secondary forest coverage with gentle and slightly steep slopes. The C reserves of the herbaceous understorey are more significant than that of woody plants. C reserves of all components studied in the gently sloping area are larger than the steep ones. The largest C reserves are found in leaf litter for all slope positions except for a slightly steep lower slope. The largest C reserves is found in finer litter. The total C reserves of understorey and young secondary forest organic litter in HPFU 933.4 tons and 95.9 percent are stored in a litter.

يعد تلوث الأسماك بالعناصر الثقيلة مؤشراً هاماً على مدى تلوث البيئة التي تعيش فيها, وإمكانية انتقالها ضمن السلسلة الغذائية وصـولاً إلـى الإنسان. هدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد تراكيز أربعة عناصر معدنية ثقيلة (Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd) في الجزء العضلي (المأكول) للنوع السمكي الغريبة الصخري Siganus luridus, وجمعت العينات السمكية من شاطئ مدينة بانياس لمدة عامين متتاليين, من شهر آذار 2019 وحتى شهر شباط 2021, وأُجريت اختبارات الكشف عن هذه المعادن باستخدام مطيافية الامتصاص الذري, وفق تقانتي التذرية الكهروحرارية والتذرية باللهب. بيّنت نتائج الدراسة ارتفاع تراكيز العناصر المعدنية الثقيلة في عضلات النوع السمكي الغريبة الصخري في منطقة مصب نهر جوبر عنها في الموقعين الآخرين, يليه منطقة مصب نهر بانياس, ومن ثم منطقة الباصية, حيث تراوحت المعدلات الوسطية لتراكيز هذه العناصر في كافة المواقع المدروسة خلال فترة الدراسة ما بين 3.482-6.120) ميكروغرام / غرام وزن رطب( لعنصر الزنك, يليه عنصر النحاس بمتوسطات تراكيز تراوحت بين (0.366-0.552 ميكروغرام / غرام وزن رطب), ومن ثم الرصاص (0.0159-0.0249 ميكروغرام / غرام وزن رطب)، في حين كان عنصر الكادميوم أقلها تركيزاً (0.008-0.005 ميكروغرام / غرام وزن رطب), ولكن جميع هذه التراكيز كانت ضمن الحدود المسموح بها من قبل منظمة الأغذية والزراعة العالمية, ولذلك فهي لا تشكل خطراً على صحة الإنسان المستهلك النهائي لها. الكلمات المفتاحية: الغريبة الصخرية, عناصر ثقيلة, الزنك, النحاس, الرصاص, الكادميوم, المياه البحرية السورية.

BackgroundWith direct-to-consumer (DTC) genetic testing enabling self-responsible access to novel information on ancestry, traits, or health, consumers often turn to social media for assistance and discussion. YouTube, the largest social media platform for videos, offers an abundance of DTC genetic testing–related videos. Nevertheless, user discourse in the comments sections of these videos is largely unexplored. ObjectiveThis study aims to address the lack of knowledge concerning user discourse in the comments sections of DTC genetic testing–related videos on YouTube by exploring topics discussed and users' attitudes toward these videos. MethodsWe employed a 3-step research approach. First, we collected metadata and comments of the 248 most viewed DTC genetic testing–related videos on YouTube. Second, we conducted topic modeling using word frequency analysis, bigram analysis, and structural topic modeling to identify topics discussed in the comments sections of those videos. Finally, we employed Bing (binary), National Research Council Canada (NRC) emotion, and 9-level sentiment analysis to identify users' attitudes toward these DTC genetic testing–related videos, as expressed in their comments. ResultsWe collected 84,082 comments from the 248 most viewed DTC genetic testing–related YouTube videos. With topic modeling, we identified 6 prevailing topics on (1) general genetic testing, (2) ancestry testing, (3) relationship testing, (4) health and trait testing, (5) ethical concerns, and (6) YouTube video reaction. Further, our sentiment analysis indicates strong positive emotions (anticipation, joy, surprise, and trust) and a neutral-to-positive attitude toward DTC genetic testing–related videos. ConclusionsWith this study, we demonstrate how to identify users' attitudes on DTC genetic testing by examining topics and opinions based on YouTube video comments. Shedding light on user discourse on social media, our findings suggest that users are highly interested in DTC genetic testing and related social media content. Nonetheless, with this novel market constantly evolving, service providers, content providers, or regulatory authorities may still need to adapt their services to users' interests and desires.

This study aims at a rediscovery of the extent to which a Data Driven Learning (DDL)-based intervention could become instrumental in facilitating grammar instruction with a specific focus on EAP and learner autonomy in a preparatory program mostly by Turkish-L1 learners. It provides a context-restricted longitudinal depiction of the effectiveness of a DDL-based grammar instruction endorsed by teacher mentorship across groups asynchronously, thus re-testing the limits of DDL-oriented corpus pedagogy in contexts where a control group is not available. To this end, a corpus was compiled out of the existing reading and listening materials in use ad hoc the Alternative Corpus of Academic Texts (ACAT), and a total of 19 grammar lessons covering topics in the curriculum of the second level of the grammar course were developed using the ACAT. Blind pre and post-test procedures were administered with all four experimental groups independent of each other to gradually build up an understanding of the governing pattern of learner achievement through DDL and corpus-based teacher-prepared materials. The analysis demonstrated a rise in student achievement across all groups despite the lack of a teacher disseminating knowledge to students in class in the traditional sense, thus showing that a sense of autonomy could be gained through DDL-enhanced teaching. With the design being unorthodox, this study shows that the triple powers of DDL, self-discovery, occasional teacher supervision, and corpus-based teaching materials, could help learners survive autonomously no matter how hectic the curriculum run at an institution is. Further research is needed to deepen this insight so that this sort of DDL practice could be implemented at the institutional level

هدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد بعض الخصائص الفيزيوكيميائية لحبوب اللقاح التي جمعت من موسمين مختلفين وهما موسم الحمضيات لعام 2020 وذلك في الفترة الممتدة بين شهري نيسان وأيار في المنطقة الساحلية ( شمال اللاذقية ) وموسم اليانسون وذلك في العام 2020 في منطقة الغاب ( ريف حماة ) ، وفي كلا المصدرين تم استخدام المصائد الداخلية في عملية الجمع والحصول على عينات حبوب اللقاح. وذلك بهدف معرفة تأثير اختلاف مصدر حبوب اللقاح في تركيبها الكيميائي من حيث محتواها من السكريات الكلية ،الفركتوز ،الغلوكوز ،السكروز ،البروتين و حمض البرولين إضافة إلى محتواها من اللبيدات والرماد. وكذلك دراسة تأثير اختلاف الظروف المناخية لمنطقة الجمع على التركيب الكيميائي لحبوب اللقاح وعلى ظروف وشروط عملية الجمع، حيث انخفضت نسبة الرطوبة في حبوب لقاح اليانسون بدلالة معنوية عالية جداً وبلغت بالمتوسط 10.9% مقارنة مع نسبة الرطوبة في حبوب لقاح الحمضيات التي بلغت بالمتوسط 22.3% مما يجعل عملية جمع حبوب لقاح اليانسون أسهل منها في الحمضيات و أن ارتفاع محتوى حبوب لقاح الحمضيات من الرطوبة يجعلها سريعة الفساد . كما ارتفع محتوى حبوب لقاح اليانسون من البروتين بدلالة معنوية عالية جداً وبلغ بالمتوسط 22.5% مقارنة مع 19.5% للحمضيات. وكذلك بلغت السكريات الكلية 56.24% ، 41.51% بالمتوسط لكل من اليانسون والحمضيات على التوالي وذلك عند مستوى معنوية 5% كما ارتفع محتوى حبوب لقاح اليانسون من الفركتوز والغلوكوز والمالتوز بدلالة معنوية عالية جداً مقارنة مع حبوب لقاح الحمضيات. في حين لم تكن الفروق في المحتوى من البرولين والرماد بين المصدرين المدروسين معنوية.

Artificial intelligence (AI) methods are explosively considered in the design and optimization of drug discovery and delivery systems. Herein, machine learning methods are used for optimizing the production of curcumin (CUR)‐loaded nanofibers. The required data are mined through the literature survey and two categories, including material‐ and machine‐based parameters, are detected and studied as effective parameters on the final outcomes. AI results show that high‐density polymers have a lower CUR release rate; however, with the increase in polymer density, CUR encapsulation efficiency (EE) increases in many types of polymers. The smallest diameter, highest EE, and highest drug release percentage are obtained at a molecular weight between 100 and 150 kDa and a CUR concentration of 10–15 wt%, with the polymer density in the range of 1.2–1.5 g mL−1. Also, the optimal distance of ≈23 cm, the flow rate of 3.5–4.5 mL h−1, and the voltage at the range of 12.5–15 kV result in the highest release rate, highest EE, and the lowest average diameter for fibers. These findings open up new roads for future design and production of drug‐loaded polymeric nanofibers with desirable properties and performances by AI methods.

Abstract To combat the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries around the globe have adopted digital contact tracing apps. Various technologies exist to trace contacts that are potentially prone to different types of tracing errors. Here, we study the impact of different proximity detection ranges on the effectiveness and efficiency of digital contact tracing apps. Furthermore, we study a usage stop effect induced by a false positive quarantine. Our results reveal that policy makers should adjust digital contact tracing apps to the behavioral characteristics of a society. Based on this, the proximity detection range should at least cover the range of a disease spread, and be much wider in certain cases. The widely used Bluetooth Low Energy protocol may not necessarily be the most effective technology for contact tracing.

Objectives: To report maternal and perinatal outcomes of hyperthyroidsm in pregnancy. Case Report: There were 3622 cases of delivering pregnant women during the period of the study. From this number, the prevalence of pregnant women with hyperthyroid was 0.2 %. We reported 9 cases of hyperthyroid in pregnancy. The number of pregnancy complication and outcome on pregnant women with hyperthyroidism were preterm labor (44%) and preeclampsia (22%), both were found in group of mother who did taking antihyperthyroid therapy. In those who did not take antihyperthyroid therapy 11% had spontaneous abortion and 11% had preterm delivery. Fetal complications were intrauterine growth restriction (11%) and intrauterine fetal death (23%), both of these complication were on the group who did not take antihyperthyroid. On the contrary, 44% babies were born with normal birthweight in group who took antihyperthyroid. Conclusion: There were differences noted between the group that took adequate treatment and the group that did not take antihyperthyroid. The incidence of intrauterine growth restriction and intrauterine fetal death were high in group that did not took antihyperthyroid therapy but the incidence of preterm delivery as the maternal complication was high in group that did take the antihyperthyroid therapy.
