This work presents the relationships between the measured present Earth crust movement and sedimentary cover feature indexes with the help of correlation and regressive analysis method. Indexes having the biggest impact on investigated nature processes have been distinguished while applying the incremental regression analysis. The research of correlative analysis coeffi cient‘s dependence on general correlative space has been performed. Forecast patterns of vertical Earth surface movement have been created and compared with the present ones with the help of regressive analysis method. The study was carried out by applying the Hooke’s physical law – to describe the relationship of the horizontal strains and geodynamic stresses of the Earth-crust. Experimental studies were carried out in the territory of the geodynamic polygon of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant. New data of geodynamic stress changes that are significantly related with the tectonic structure of the territory were obtained. After the analysis and generalization of results obtained, the change of tectonic stresses in the surroundings of the geodynamic ground of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant and its connections with tectonic structure were determined. The conclusion is drawn that Hooke’s law, by describing the relations between horizontal strains of the Earth-crust and geodynamic stresses, may be used practically and applied for estimating the regularities of the geodynamic stress change.

Using the author’s methods for modulating movements, a new map of the recent vertical movements rates of the Earth’s crust of Lithuanian territory is made. It is based on vertical movement values using geodetic measurements and reliance of correlation and regression of the main geological parameters of the territory. The current Earth’s crust vertical movements on the Lithuanian territory varies from –3.5 to +2.5 mm/y. The major depth of the crust rising and the most variations of movements rate gradients are in the Eastern Lithuania, but the sinking in Southern and South-Western part of Lithuania. Using a regressing mathematical model, the reliability of the map is analysed and found, that the probability of it according to the results of geodetic measurements is no less than 0.95. Intensyviausias Žemės plutos kilimas ir didžiausia judesių greičių gradientų kaita yra šiaurės rytinėje Lietuvos dalyje, o grimzdimas – pietinėje ir pietvakarinėje srityse. Ištirtas pagal regresinį matematinį modelį sudaryto žemėlapio patikimumas ir nustatyta, kad žemėlapio atitikimo pagal geodezinių matavimų rezultatus tikimybė yra ne mažesnė nei 0,95. The study was performed with intent to apply the inverse Hook’ law – to describe connections between horizontal deformations of the Earth-crust and geodynamic stresses; tensor methods of stress estimation were based theoretically and experimental calculations were carried out in the territory of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant region. New data of the study of geodynamic stress change that are significantly related to a tectonic structure of the territory were obtained. Having analysed and generalised the results of calculation according to geodetic surveys, a tectonic activity in the surroundings of the graben Drūkšiai was established. Daroma išvada, kad atvirkštinis Huko dėsnis, nusakant horizontaliųjų Žemės plutos judesių bei geodinaminių įtampų sąsajas, gali būti taikomas praktiškai bei įvertinant geodinaminių įtampų pokyčių dėsningumus. For investigating the horizontal deformations of geodetic networks the data of GPS measurements of the epochs about 1992 and 2003 were used. To avoid the impact of the discrepancy of the systems of coordinates upon the parameters of the deformations, the method of tensor analysis was applied using the method of finite elements. A geodetic network consists of 19 triangles; 15 geodetic ground benchmarks observed by GPS method were used. The horizontal deformations of geodetic network in the territory of the Baltic Sea region were calculated. The maximum relative strain in the territory of the Baltic Sea region varies between +0,03×10–6 and +0,58×10–6 and is positive within the whole territory; the minimum relative strain varies between –0,93×10–6 and +0,03×10–6; and the dilatation varies between –0,35×10–6 and +0,16×10–6. Apskaičiuoti geodezinių tinklų horizontaliųjų deformacijų Baltijos teritorijoje parametrai: svarbiausiosios deformacijos, maksimalios santykinės deformacijos kryptis, dilatacija. Maksimalioji santykinė deformacija Baltijos teritorijoje kinta nuo +0,03×10–6 iki +0,58×10–6 ir yra teigiama visoje teritorijoje, minimalioji santykinė deformacija kinta nuo –0,93×10–6 iki +0,03×10–6, dilatacija kinta nuo –0,35×10–6 iki +0,16×10–6.

Lithuania has a high ecological hazard structure (for example, the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant, a petroleum refining company in Mažeikiai, chemical factories in Jonava and Kėdainiai). Clearly seismic events may disrupt their work and even cause serious damage to the environment. Heavy environmental pollution might be provoked by chemical and radioactive materials. Seismic events are determined by the seismotectonic potential of the territory. Such potential is interrelated with the deformation of the Earth‘s crust research into which is one of the sources of information for attempting to forecast the development of seismotectonic activity. The purpose of this work is to evaluate horizontal stresses and strains in the territory of Lithuania analyzing data on GPS observation. The carried out studies on the Earth’s crust using horizontal deformations and stress calculation methods have developed the new characteristics of horizontal deformation and showed the results of stress changes. Seisminius įvykius lemia teritorijos seismotektoninis potencialas. Seismotektoninis potencialas ir Žemės plutos deformacijos yra tarpusavyje susiję reiškiniai, kuriuos sukelia dažnai tie patys giluminiai procesai Žemės gelmėse. Žemės plutos deformacijų tyrimas yra vienas iš informacijos šaltinių prognozuojant teritorijos seismotektoninį aktyvumą. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos Žemės plutos horizontaliosios deformacijos, nustatomi Žemės plutos įtempių pokyčiai Lietuvos teritorijoje pagal GPS matavimų duomenis. Atlikus tyrimus pagal pateikiamą Žemės plutos horizontaliųjų deformacijų ir įtempių tyrimo metodiką, gauti nauji horizontaliųjų deformacijų charakteristikų bei įtempių pokyčių rezultatai ir nustatytos jų sąsajos su seismotektoniniu potencialu. The programme Ansys was applied to model the horizontal movements and the change of tectonic stresses of the Earth crust according to the data of geodetic measuring by the finite element method. Experimental studies were carried out in the territory of the geodynamic polygon of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant. The detailed results of parameters of horizontal deformations have been obtained; the new indices of tectonic stress increases - the most important stress increases were calculated and their directions established. On the basis of the study results and their analysis, the conclusion was drawn that the programme Ansys may be applied to model horizontal movements of the Earth crust. The merit of application of this programme, in comparison with usual widely-applied methods of geodetic researches, is not only that it is possible to detail the dispersion of the Earth crust deformations, but also to obtain a new information about the change of tectonic stresses. The questions of Earth crust movements evaluation by means vertical geodetic networks constructing has been analysed. The methodology, algorithms and recommendations for levelling data correcting has been presented. For calculating the corrections of the measured height differences it is recommended to use the horizontal gradients of the speeds values but not the absolute values of the vertical Earth’s crust movements. For correcting of the measurements results the conditional vertical movements of the benchmarks regarding the initial levelling line mark or the knot points in the levelling network are used. When mapping the area of Lithuania, place-names presented by linguists or given in documents are used. The spelling differences of these names in different sources and over-generalised locations cause the importance of localisation specification and choice of spelling for cartographers. A signal map prepared by cartographers must be reviewed by a specialist of Lithuanian language. But we cannot avoid mistakes in maps because of the linguists’ incompetence to perform the localisation of small hydronyms. During the course on time levelling, benchmarks change their altitude because of vertical Earth crust movements, and therefore that is why levelling rates miss their primal accuracy. This work involves the theoretically based methodology, which was designed to estimate the influence of vertical Earth crust movement upon the levelling network and its measurement with an application of movement rate horizontal gradients. The impact of vertical Earth crust movement on the vertical geodesic levelling network of Lithuania has been measured according to this methodology. In order to keep the proper accuracy of vertical network rates, the network levelling should be re-accomplished every 15-20 years. Theoretical principles and possibilities of practical application of modelling the current horizontal deformations of the Earth crust by the method of finite elements have been investigated. The modelling of deformations of the Earth crust by the method of finite elements according to the data of geodetic measurements for realisation of model by applying the program package Ansys was carried out in the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant region. There was drawn a conclusion from the analysis of results that the model of deformations made by the method of finite elements details the structure of the current tectonic activity in the research region and extends the possibilities of the geotectonic interpretation of measurement results. It was established that the structure of horizontal deformations of the Earth-crust in the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant region was related to tectonic peculiarities of the territory. The researchers disclosed the advantages of modelling the deformations of the Earth crust by the method of finite elements in comparison with other methods and have shown the possibilities of applying the program package Ansys for geodynamic research. Iš rezultatų analizės daroma išvada, kad baigtinių elementų metodu sudarytas deformacijų modelis detalizuoja tiriamojo rajono dabartinio tektoninio aktyvumo struktūrą ir praplečia matavimo rezultatų geotektoninio interpretavimo galimybes. Nustatyta, kad Ignalinos atominės elektrinės rajone horizontaliųjų Žemės plutos deformacijų struktūra siejasi su tektoninėmis teritorijos ypatybėmis. Atlikti tyrimai parodo Žemės plutos deformacijų modeliavimo baigtinių elementų metodu privalumus, palyginti su kitais metodais, ir Ansys programinio paketo taikymo geodinaminiams tyrimams galimybes. The statistical analysis of the present vertical Earth crust movements at the vertical geodetical net of Lithuanian polygon Vilnius–Jonava–Zarasai–Turmantas–Vilnius was performed according to the results of geodetic measurements. The task of research was – using the latest geodetic measurements data to determine the present movements intensity and the variations of movements of the Earth crust in the described region. According to the levelling measurements results of 1935–1936. 1948, 1968, 1970. 1980, 1985–1987, 1998, 2005, 2006, it was determined that the present amplitude of vertical Earth crust movements speeds in the Vilnius–Jonava–Zarasai–Turmantas–Vilnius polygon is up to 5–6 mm/year. After a mathematical statistical analysis of the measurement results it was found that with the probability of 95%, the movements of the Earth crust in the time span have the swinging nature. During the last period of 25 years the Zarasai–Turmantas district is rising with the speed of 4–6 mm/year regarding the Vilnius–Jonava one. Pagal 1934, 1935–1936, 1948, 1968, 1970, 1980, 1985–1987, 1998, 2005, 2006 metu niveliaciju matavimo rezultatus nustatyta, kad poligone Vilnius – Jonava – Zarasai – Turmantas – Vilnius dabartiniu vertikaliuju Žemes plutos judesiu greičiu amplitude siekia iki 5–6 mm/metus. Atliekant matavimo rezultatu matematine statistine analize, su 95 % tikimybe pagrista, kad Žemes plutos judesiai begant laikui yra svyruojamojo pobūdžio. Per pastaruju 25 metu laikotarpi Zarasu – Turmanto linija Vilniaus – Jonavos atžvilgiu kyla iki 4–6 mm per metus greičiu. The correlation analysis of measured vertical movements of the crystal base relief and the deposit cover geological indexes was performed in the north–east part of Lithuanian territory. A tough correlation connection between earth surface movements and the geologic, geomorphologic rates was determined. For the forecast and specification of tectonic background the regression model was adopted. Levelling works are often stretched for some years. For this reason the measured data is influenced vertical by an earth movement. Aspiring to avoid this influence the measured differences between heights should be reduced on the epoch selected us. Research is made by an example of a vertical geodetic network of Lithuania. The received results of research shows that amendments reduced for the epoch selected us significant and more than other amendments used at data processing of levelling. To calculate influence of amendments from for vertical earth movements it is recommended applying regression model’s for forecasts of speeds of vertical earth movements or model of horizontal gradients of speeds of vertical movements. Nustatyta, kad eksperimentiniame objekte niveliavimo matavimo rezultatų redukavimo, atsižvelgiant į pasirinktą epochą, pataisos yra reikšmingos ir didesnės už kitas apdorojant niveliavimo matavimų rezultatus skaičiuotas pataisas. Pataisų dėl vertikaliųjų Žemės plutos judesių įtaką skaičiuoti niveliaciniuose ėjimuose rekomenduojama taikant regresinius vertikaliųjų judesių greičių prognozavimo arba judesių greičių horizontaliųjų gradientų modelius. The article analyses the quality assessment of land parcels cadastral data by applying mathematical statistical control methods of serial industrial production. We, however, may not use all existing statistical control methods of industrial production for the quality control of cadastral data. Cadastral data production process has different peculiarities in comparison with the serial industrial production. Every cadastral object has its own unique features. Considering the specific features for producting cadastral data, in comparison with the serial industrial production, and with regard to the existing control methods regulated by legal acts, we use one-phase continuous statistical control methods for the analysis of cadastral data. Mathematical statistical quality indicators are established for the land cadastre of the territory of Lithuania in assessing the total aggregate and in 58 municipalities separately. Straipsnyje nagrinėjama žemės sklypų kadastrinių duomenų kokybės vertinimas matematinės statistinės kontrolės metodais, taikomais serijinės gamybos pramonės produkcijai kontroliuoti. Deja, ne visus taikomus pramoninės gamybos statistinius kontrolės metodus galima taikyti kadastro duomenų kokybės kontrolei. Kadastro duomenų rengimo procesas turi ypatumų, palyginti su pramonine serijinės produkcijos gamyba. Kiekvienas kadastrinis objektas turi unikalių savybių. Turint omenyje specifinius kadastrinių duomenų rengimo ypatumus, palyginti su serijine pramonės produkcija, bei atsižvelgiant į dabar taikomą norminiais aktais reglamentuotą kontrolės metodiką, kadastro duomenų analizei parinktas vieno etapo ištisinės statistinės kontrolės metodas. Nustatyti Lietuvos teritorijos žemės kadastro matematiniai statistiniai kokybės rodikliai vertinant visumą ir 58 savivaldybių atskirai. Spatial strains of the Earth crust were assessed using the finite elements method and an algorithm had been developed for a calculation of such strains. The experimental research had been carried out in the territory of the geodynamic ground of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant. New parameters of spatial strains of the Earth crust, namely, spatial relative linear and shear strains, were found. The results of the research show certain regularities of spatial strains of the Earth crust, ie motions of the Earth crust in the region of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant are differentiated according to the blocks – the northern block and the southern block. Values of Earth crust vertical movements determined in the territories with thick sediment layer are the totals of tectonic movements and sediment layers deformations. It is difficult to judge about present tectonic activities based on data of geodetic observations in such territories. Formation of separate sediment layers is directly related with tectonic Earth crust movements in the past and every sediment layer has some information on tectonic processes, therefore this information should be used for interpretation of geodetic observation data. Research with use of correlation, complex correlation analysis and informative indexes has helped to determine relation between Earth crust movements determined by geometric levelling and peculiarities of sediment layers and to determine separate geologic groups’ informative indexes. The article analyzes regressive models and it defines the interface between accuracy of terrain models, modelling parameters and morphometric characteristics of the relief. Application of the methods of statistical analysis determine that the accuracy of model increases by reducing cell dimensions and distance between points. The influence of distance between the points on the accuracy is about 10–15% higher than the cell size. The cell size and the distance between the points have demonstrated a more narrow influence in case of a minor terrain variability and a greater influence when the terrain variability was great. Regressive models have been compiled describing the dependence of accuracy of the terrain models obtained by different methods on modelling parameters and terrain morphmetric indices. The regression results adequacy of actual indices accuracy satisfy by 81–83%. Major dispersion of the regression results inadequacy of actual indices accuracy is in areas of complicated morphometric relief characteristics. Therefore to obtain a smoother accuracy of terrain model in relief zones with different morphometric indices is the most in territories with bigger morphometric indices to reduce the cell size and the distance between the points. This conclusion corroborates the results of dispersion analysis of the regression model. Taikant statistinės analizės metodus nustatyta, kad modelio tikslumas didėja, mažinant ląstelę ir atstumą tarp taškų. Atstumų tarp taškų įtaka tikslumui apie 10–15 % didesnė negu ląstelės didumo. Ląstelės didumas ir atstumas tarp taškų mažesnės įtakos turi esant mažam reljefo kintamumui ir didesnės, kai reljefo kintamumas didelis. Sudaryti regresiniai modeliai, apibūdinantys skirtingais metodais gautų reljefo modelių tikslumo priklausomybę nuo modeliavimo parametrų ir reljefo morfometrinių rodiklių. Regresijos rezultatai faktinius tikslumo rodiklius atitinka 81–83 %. Didžiausia regresijos rezultatų ir faktinių tikslumo rodiklių neatitikimo sklaida būdinga sudėtingiems morfometrinių reljefo savybių arealams. Todėl, norint gauti įvairių reljefo morfometrinių rodiklių zonų vienodesnį reljefo modelio tikslumą, būtina mažinti teritorijų, kurių morfometrinių rodiklių indeksai didesni, ląsteles ir atstumus tarp aukščių taškų. Šią išvadą patvirtina ir regresinio modelio dispersinės analizės rezultatai. Horizontal and vertical movements of the Earth crust are interrelated, because the same forces affecting the Earth crust cause them. There is a both-side interrelation between deformations of the Earth crust and spreading of tectonic tensions. So, it is possible to assess the indicators of horizontal deformations and to establish the regularities of their changes by examining the measured values of vertical deformations of the Earth crust, and vice versa. The established analytical interrelation between horizontal and vertical deformations of the Earth crust is described in the paper. The interrelation has been found by application the vector and tensor analysis. An algorithm for assessing the indicators of horizontal deformations of the Earth crust according to the results of measuring the vertical movements is provided. The method of finite elements is applied for assessment the indicators of deformations. A numerical example of application of the developed algorithm is provided as well. Surface run-off and soil erosion are major threats to sustainable agriculture, therefore, mapping regional erosion risk is increasingly needed for land use management. Erosion results from the interaction of many different parameters that vary in space and time. The aim of this work is to develop a methodology based on application of GIS tools for evaluating erosion risk at national scale and incorporating different types of data. The erosion factors have been graded by previous studies based on field experiments. Soil lithology is considered a key factor in run-off and erosion risk on cultivated soils. It was combined to data on land use CORINE Land Cover. Digital Elevation Model has been created at the scale of 50*50m pixels. The modelling indicates that the main areas affected by erosion risk are related to topographic hights of the Western and Eastern Lithuania. Pradiniai parametrai pagrįsti daugiamečių lauko tyrimų rezultatais. Vieni iš pagrindinių veiksnių, lemiančių skirtingą erozijos potencialą, yra paviršiaus litologija, dirvožemio sudėtis, augmenijos tipas, – jie įvertinti modelyje. Ypač daug dėmesio skirta reljefo skaitmeninio modelio tobulinimui, nes reljefas yra vienas iš pagrindinių parametrų, lemiančių erozijos intensyvumą. Apskaičiuoti reljefo parametrai, tokie kaip šlaitų statumas, ekspozicija, polinkis. Modeliavimas parodė, kad paviršiaus erozijos didžiausios rizikos sritys yra Vakarų ir Rytų Lietuvos aukštumose. The generalized characteristics of the spatial (3-D) Earth crust movements using data on GPS measurements were assessed in the region of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant applying the methodology of tensor analysis. Changes in the principal tectonic stresses were found using a trigonometric method. The new data on the generalized characteristics of the spatial Earth crust movements such as shifts in the directions of the axes of coordinates, the turn of block structure, relative linear and shear strains, changes in normal, tangential and principal tectonic stresses were calculated. The generalized relative strains may vary in the range between –0.012 · 10–6 and –0.760 · 10–6. Changes in stresses may vary in the range between –0.003 MPa and –0.059 MPa. It was established that the values of relative strains and changes in stresses in the region of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant were of a negative sign, i.e. the territory was affected by general tectonic pressure. Nustatyta, kad santykinių deformacijų ir įtempių pokyčių reikšmės visame nagrinėjamame Ignalinos atominės elektrinės rajone yra neigiamo ženklo, t. y. teritorija yra veikiama bendrojo tektoninio spaudimo. Vertical Earth crust movement values (the sum of total tectonic movements’ value and sedimentary covering layers’ deformation values) have been attained with the help of geodesic methods. It is hardly possible to directly distinguish values, which are considered being of tectonic or non-tectonic origin, having observed Earth’s surface movement. In order to solve this problem, different researches with application of mathematical statistical analysis methods are being carried out. Each geological factor can contribute to the investigated process, as the Earth’s structure is heterogeneous. Complex correlation analysis and Hellwing method are applied in order to investigate how informative actors are, that is, to determine correlations between factors, the amount of information, contributed to the research by different factors. Changes of Earth crust spatial geodynamic strains were determined by the method of tensor analysis. Components of tensors based on observation results were estimated by the method of finite elements. Strains have been expressed by deformations. New data of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant region of Earth crust movement characteristics have been obtained by using Hooke's inverse law. Data express the changes of geodynamic normal and tangent spatial strains. The geodynamic strains change from –0.082 MPa to 0.097 MPa. Based on the results of research, a conclusion can be made that territory of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant region is geodynamically active. The paper discusses the horizontal movements of the Earth's crust in the territory of Lithuania. The curves of horizontal deformations are found by comparing the changes in coordinates of geodetic network points obtained after repeated measurements carried out after a certain period of time. The goal of the investigation was to analyse the regularities of indications of horizontal movements of the Earth's crust established according to the data of three different geodetic measurements. The parameters of horizontal movements were calculated using the method of finite elements and applying tensor analysis. To implement the investigation in the territory of Lithuania, the authors used the points of the triangulation network, formed in the year 1942; and the points of GPS networks of zero class and first class, formed in the year 1993, and measured once again in the year 2007 (the total of 45 joint points). After the investigation, new curves of horizontal deformations (such as relative linear deformations, relative shear deformations, relative dilatation, the maximum and the minimum elongation of the key horizontal deformations, and the directions of the maximum elongation) were found. In case of the analysis of obtained results, it was found that the positive values of deformations predominate in the direction of the maximum related elongation and the negative values of deformations predominate in the direction of the minimum related elongation. The maximum elongation of the key horizontal deformations varies between −1.608 ·10−6 and 20.832 ·10−6. The minimum elongation of the key horizontal deformations varies between –29.424 ·10−6 and 1.397 ·10−6. Dilatation varies between −27.580 ·10−6 and −8.612 ·10−6. It was found that more intensive changes of indications of deformations were observed at the boundaries of deep blocks of the lithosphere.

Discrepancies between adjacent parcel boundaries happen when marking the boundaries of land parcels in the real estate cadastre map, for example, gaps, overlaps etc. In cases where the coordinates of land turning points meet statutory admissibility, the topology of land boundaries is adjusted. The paper addresses issues related to the application of genetic algorithms for optimizing the topology of land boundaries. When applying the genetic algorithm, for the purpose of optimizing the topology of the boundaries of land parcels, methodological justification and experimental study are employed. GPS measurements recorded within the period from1992 to 2003 were employed to investigate horizontal tectonic stresses in the Earth's crust in the Baltic region. To avoid the impact of discrepancies in the systems of coordinates upon the parameters of deformations, the method of tensor analysis was applied thus estimating parameters employing the method of finite elements. Computations were performed using the created algorithms and applying ANSYS code. The values of tectonic stresses in the Earth's crust in the territory of the Baltic Sea region were calculated considering changes in maximum and minimum principal stresses. The value of change in maximum principal stress in the territory of the Baltic Sea region varies between –0.0013 MPa and +0.0032 MPa; the value of change in minimum principal stress varies between –0.0084 MPa and +0.0009 MPa. Positive values are dominating in directions of changes in maximum principal stresses (extension), whereas negative values – in directions of changes in minimum principal stresses (compression). The formation of the Earth cover is a continuous and ongoing process, including certain cyclicalities, at the course of which, the complexes of the aqueous cover have formed. Research on the vertical movements of the earth crust demonstrates that the examination of statistical correlations between the measured movements of vertical Earth crust movements and territory geo-indexes is accomplished with the help of mathematical statistical analysis. When taking separate geo-indexes arbitrarily, it is risky to exclude informative geo-indexes. Therefore, the goal of research is to investigate the correlations between arbitrarily taken and reflecting Earth structure geo-indexes and measured present vertical Earth crust movements as well as to identify the most informative groups of geo-indexes that could be used for forecasting vertical Earth crust movement. Santrauka Žemės dangos formavimasis – nenutrūkstamai vykęs ir tebevykstantis procesas. Šiam procesui būdingas tam tikras cikliškumas lėmė tai, kad susiformavo nuosėdinės dangos kompleksai. Vertikaliesiems Žemės plutos judesiams tirti taikant matematinę statistinę analizę, atliekami statistinių sąsajų tarp išmatuotų vertikaliųjų Žemės plutos judesių bei teritorijos georodiklių tyrimai (georodikliai – teritorijos geologinės charakteristikos). Pasirenkant pavienius georodiklius atsiranda rizika į tyrimus neįtraukti informatyvių georodiklių, todėl siekiama ištirti laisvai parinktų bei stratigrafinę Žemės sandarą atspindinčių georodiklių sąsajas su išmatuotais dabartiniais vertikaliaisiais Žemės plutos judesiais bei nustatyti informatyviausias georodiklių grupes, kurias būtų tikslinga naudoti prognozuojant vertikaliuosius Žemės plutos judesius. Резюме Формирование земной поверхности – беспрерывно происходивший и всë ещë происходящий про цесс. Этому процессу свойственна цикличность. Во время циклов сформировались комплексы осадочной породы. С применением статистического анализа изучаются статистические связи между вертикальными движениями земной коры и геопоказателями территории. При применении для исследований случайно подобранных геопоказателей существует вероятность пропустить информативные геопоказатели. По этой причине исследованы связи между свободно подобранными и изображающими стратиграфическую структуру осадочной породы земной коры геопоказателями и вертикальными движениями земной коры. Исследована информативность разных групп геопоказателей с целью определить группы геопоказателей, которые следует применять в дальнейших исследованиях вертикальных движений земной коры. The geographic position of an object is determined by geodetic latitude, geodetic longitude, geodetic and normal height, and height of the object above the surface of the earth. To determine the geographic position of an object, a technologic scheme is recommended: by applying 3D polar observations, the 3D Cartesian coordinates of the object in the local horizontal coordinate system (for example, with an airport runway tied system) are determined; local horizontal 3D Cartesian coordinates are recomputed into the system of geocentric equatorial 3D Cartesian coordinates; the geodetic coordinates (geodetic latitude, geodetic longitude, and geodetic height) are computed from the geocentric equatorial 3D Cartesian coordinates; based on information about geodetic height and the digital geoid model, the normal height of the object is computed; and object height above the earth is computed from normal height and the digital terrain model. Algorithms for the realisation of this technologic scheme are presented. Objekto geografinei padečiai nustatyti rekomenduojama tokia technologine schema: taikant erdvinius polinius matavimus, nustatomos objekto erdvines stačiakampes koordinates vietineje (pvz., oro uosto) horizontineje koordinačiu sistemoje; vietines horizontines erdvines stačiakampes koordinates perskaičiuojamos i geocentriniu ekvatoriniu erdviniu stačiakampiu koordinačiu sistema; pagal geocentrines ekvatorines erdvines stačiakampes koordinates apskaičiuojamos geodezines koordinates (geodezine platuma, geodezine ilguma ir geodezinis aukštis); žinant geodezini aukšti ir turint skaitmenini geoido modeli, skaičiuojamas objekto normalinis aukštis; turint normalini aukšti ir skaitmenini reljefo modeli, apskaičiuojamas objekto aukštis virš Žemes paviršiaus. Decision making in construction management has been always complicated especially if there were more than one criterion under consideration. Multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) has been often applied for complex decisions in construction when a lot of criteria were involved. Traditional MCDM methods, however, operate with independent and conflicting criteria. While in every day problems a decision maker often faces interactive and interrelated criteria. Accordingly, the need of improving and supplementing the methodology of compromise decisions arose. It was proposed to supplement TOPSIS (Technique for the Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method and integrate the Mahalanobis distance in the usual algorythm of TOPSIS. Mahalanobis distance measure offered an option to take the correlations between the criteria into considerations while making the decision. A case study of building redevelopment in Lithuanian rural areas was presented that demonstrated the application of the proposed methodology. The case study proved that the proposed TOPSIS‐M (TOPSIS applying Mahalanobis distance measure) method could have substantial influence in carrying the proper decision. Santrauka Statybos valdymo spendimų priėmimas visuomet yra komplikuotas, ypač jei turime atsižvelgti į daugelį rodiklių. Kompleksiniams statybos sprendimams, kurie apibūdinami daugeliu rodiklių, taikomi daugiatiksliai sprendimų priėmimo metodai (MCDM ‐ Multiple Criteria Decision Making). Šie metodai skirti sprendimams priimti tuomet, kai vertinami konfliktuojantys bei nepriklausomi rodikliai. Tačiau realiose situacijose, priešingai, nuolat susiduriame su saveikaujančiais ir tarpusavio priklausomybę turinčiais rodikliais. Dėl šios priežasties kyla poreikis patobulinti sprendimų metodologiją. Straipsnyje siūloma papildyti variantų racionalumo nustatymo metoda TOPSIS (Technique for the Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution), taikant Mahalanobio metoda atstumams nustatyti. Mahalanobio atstumų nustatymo metodas suteikia galimybę įvertinti koreliacinės rodiklių priklausomybės priimant daugiatikslį sprendimą. Siūlomos metodologijos taikymas įliustruojamas sprendžiant apleistų pastatų Lietuvos kaimo vietovėse racionalaus sutvarkymo uždavinį. Pateiktas pavyzdys patvirtina, kad TOPSIS‐M metodo (t. y. TOPSIS naudojant Mahalanobio atstuma) taikymas gali turėti esminę įtaka priimant sprendimą.
