The present paper proposes to determine the types of organizational cultures that exist within the Romanian textileindustry, starting off from Handy’s typology according to which there are four types of cultures, respectively the TaskTypes, the Power Types, the Role Types and the Person Type. In this sense, we have conducted an empirical studymade up of two questionnaires, the first regarding the organizational culture within the Romanian textile industry – fromthe point of view of employees without leadership positions, and the second regarding the organizational culture withinthe Romanian textile industry – from the managerial point of view. Interviews were conducted on employees andmanagers from local companies, by using direct questions, with multiple choice answers, with the purpose of ensuringtransparency and objectivity when processing and analyzing the data. The database of this study contains 110completed and validated questionnaires, divided into the two respondent categories: employees in leadership positions– 65 questionnaires, operating personnel – 45 questionnaires. By utilizing the Cronbach Alpha test, a correlation matrix,the KMO and Bartlett test, a functional analysis, we have validated the viability, the relevance of the items, the existenceof a correlation between them, the construction of synthetic variables, thus demonstrating the presence of 4 types oforganizational cultures within the Romanian textile industry

The European Commission’s 2019 report regarding the state of health profiles highlighted the fact that Romania is among the countries with the lowest life expectancy in the European Union. Therefore, the objectives of the present study were to assess the current prescription habits of general physicians in Romania related to medicines taken by the elderly population for chronic conditions in both urban and rural setting and to discuss/compare these practices with the current international recommendations for the elderly (American—Beers 2019 criteria and European—STOPP/START v.2, 2015 criteria). A total of 2790 electronic prescriptions for chronic pathologies collected from 18 community pharmacies in the western part of Romania (urban and rural zones) were included. All medicines had been prescribed by general physicians. We identified the following situations of medicine overuse: 15% of the analyzed prescriptions involved the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for &gt, 2 weeks, 12% involved the use of a proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) for &gt, 8 weeks, theophylline was the bronchodilator used as a monotherapy in 3.17% of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease cases, and zopiclone was the hypnotic drug of choice for 2.31% of cases. Regarding the misuse of medicines, 2.33% of analyzed prescriptions contained an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) for patients with renal failure in addition to vitamin K antagonists (AVKs) and NSAIDs in 0.43% of cases. Prescriptions for COX2 NSAIDs for periods longer than 2 weeks for patients with cardiovascular disorders accounted for 1.33% of prescriptions, and trihexyphenidyl was used as a monotherapy for patients with Parkinson’s disease in 0.18% of cases. From the included medical prescriptions, 32.40% (the major percent of 2383 prescriptions) had two potentially inappropriate medications (PIMs). Rural zones were found to be risk factor for PIMs. Decreasing the chronic prescription of NSAIDs and PPIs, discontinuing the use of hypnotic drugs, and avoiding potentially harmful drug–drug associations will have long term beneficial effects for Romanian elderly patients.

Entrepreneurial new ventures competitiveness depends on the entrepreneurial ecosystem structure and components. Our research presents the main levels of information technology industry linked with technology entrepreneurial ecosystems components. In the second part of our research we present the entrepreneurs perception about information technology entrepreneurial ecosystem in the west region of Romania. Our objective was to find out the entrepreneurs point of view about opportunities and influences that they perceive in the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem

One of the most important factors of social and economic progress now is the information technology. To develop their new ventures, entrepreneurs need a business environment, we name it entrepreneurial ecosystem, to generate, validate and implement viable business ideas, and resources and services to grow the business. The new venture competitiveness in the field of information technology depends on the entrepreneurial ecosystem structure and their components. The relationships arising between the elements of the technological entrepreneurial ecosystems generate opportunities and advantages for entrepreneurs and businesses. In our research we analyze the structure of technology entrepreneurial ecosystems and the most important contingency factors that influence entrepreneurial strategies.

Technical progress and entrepreneurship have become drivers of economic and social stability and progress. Analyzing interdependencies arising between economy, technology and society become useful to identify the most appropriate strategies for competitiveness in the business sectors and supporting entrepreneurial new ventures. Globalization, technical and technological progress and innovation as the main drivers of economic growth leads entrepreneurs to innovate new business models and strategies. Thus there is a need to analyze the most important components that make up information technology entrepreneurial ecosystems, the way in which entrepreneurs relate to them, and especially the entrepreneurial strategic approaches.

Current economic circumstances, very dynamic and characterized by uncertainty, require organizations to identify new sources of competitive advantage to remain competitive. Collaboration between organizations in collaborative networks are forms and environments in which organizations can use their distinctive potential. Capitalization of organizational potential in isolated manner, will not generate competitive advantage.Also important, the globalization and relocation of business, and integration of geographically distributed collaborative networks have led to the need of identifying new ways of driving closer distributed nature of business. Collaborative networks, virtual organizations and new technologies underlying organizational processes provides new spaces for interaction. Distributed organizations leadership gains new meanings that can be explored.

The emergence and development of collaborative networks can be analyzed from different perspectives and different levels of complexity. Collaborative networks are formed and developed as a result of the strategic axes for increasing competitiveness. The dynamics and complexity of the business environment led to the innovation of business models and to the identification of new ways to capitalize the organizational potential. The main objective behind the emergence of collaborative networks is to capitalize on the organizational potential through collaboration. Organizational progress and economic development can be achieved through innovation, knowledge and transfer of knowledge and by making the best use of the organizations’ distinctive potentials in a collaborative and synergistic manner.

Is it possible to rethink the phenomenon of city and the policies that concern it according to the guidelines that the Rock project has attempted without also questioning the conceptual frameworks, or rather the practices and forms of habitual thought that have focused on it? The adequate answer, as far as the conceptual dimension and the reference framework of the theoretical-practical tools are concerned, seemed to be that of accompanying the research with a reflection and a redefinition of the categories through which it was interpreted, both in the sense of understanding and performing. In other words, it was necessary to shift the point of view, setting aside an ideational dimension placed before acknowledging reality and making the findings of the research feedback on its own modalities of detection, thus activating a self-reflective and recursive procedure, as Tim Ingold recently recommended in his reflection on making. Reflecting this methodology, here we chose to take up two notions that we have tried to formulate or redefine over the course of the research, those of "potential city" and "concrete utopia". In both cases we are dealing with a conception of effectuality that recalls what continues to act and to renew itself without exhausting itself because it exists only in the form of a process, only insofar as it is effective, it produces effects in time and in the world as opposed to the passive acceptance of empirical reality, the superficial level of events.
