"We discuss the possible mechanism of genesis of disordered regions in cellulose microfibrils. In our work, we show that obstacles stopping the growth of nanofibrils and the further deformation of nanofibrils may be the reasons for disorder. In this case, the initial prismatic shape of nanofibrils becomes corrugated and regions, where cellulose chains lose their initial straight configuration, appear in it. If a pack of thus deformed nanofibrils form a microfibril, then it contains disordered regions of two types. The first one consists in boundary layers, which separate nanofibrils from each other. The second type represents amorphous regions located inside each nanofibril. In this discussion, we use the linear theory of elasticity. With its help, we estimated longitudinal dimensions of cellulose crystallites and then compared them with values of such sizes calculated based on experimental data. The experimentally obtained values turned out to be, to a certain extent, greater than the theoretically estimated ones."

Generation processes of a photoacoustic response of a layered polyethylene/hydrogel structure by its irradiation with periodically modulated light have been experimentally studied. The heat sources are located in a gel near the interface with polyethylene. The response in the form of the pressure oscillations occurs as a result of the thermoelastic strain of the polyethylene layer by its thickness-nonuniform heating by a thermal wave. The obtained results can be useful for modification of the techniques based on the diffusion processes in gels.

A method to experimentally determine the components of complex thermal conductivity for thin polymer films has been developed. It is based on measuring the temperatures of both sides of a film in which a periodic temperature wave is excited. Formulas have been derived that relate the measured temperatures to the thermal conductivity components. Using this method, the frequency dependences of the complex conductivity for cellulose (150 μm thick), fluoroplastic (600 μm), and polypropylene (600 μm) films have been obtained in the frequency range of 0.01–0.25 Hz at 293 K.

PurposeThe purpose of the research is to determine the current contradictions and perspectives of convergence of social development and economic growth for the purpose of formation of the scientific and methodological basis of targeted and efficient state regulation of these processes, which would allow for their harmonization and systemic acceleration.Design/methodology/approachThe authors use correlation analysis for calculating the correlation of the rate of economic growth (according to the forecast of the IMF) and the indicators of qualify of life, calculated by Numbeo, and the index of economy digitization, calculated by the IMD. The research is performed based on the 2020 data. On the basis of the established dependencies, the authors use the method of hierarchy analytics of T.L. Saaty for determining the contribution of social development into economic growth.FindingsThe authors substantiate the existence of close interconnection between social development and economic growth and determine substantial differences in this interconnection in developed countries (correlation – 52%), where only purchasing power of population and society's digitization contribute into acceleration of economic growth, and in developing countries (correlation – 48%), where quality of life, environment protection, living standards and society's development level contribute to acceleration of economic growth.Originality/valueIt is proved that in the course of the increase of the level of social development, it contradicts economic growth – due to which the possibilities of state regulation of the interconnection of these processes are limited. The authors develop a conceptual model of convergence of these processes through the prism of phases of the economic cycle. The compiled model reflects the authors' recommendations at each phase of the economic cycle, due to which state regulation of socioeconomic development will become targeted and efficient.

PurposeThe purpose of the work is to solve the set problem and to study the competition and perspectives of division of labor of humans and machines during creation of intangible assets in Industry 4.0.Design/methodology/approachThe research is performed with the help of regression and comparative analysis by building regression curves and with the help of the qualitative structural and logical analysis.FindingsThe authors perform an overview of the factors that determine the advantages and limits of participation in creation of intangible assets in Industry 4.0, determine the perspectives and compile recommendations for division of human and machine labor during creation of intangible assets in Industry 4.0.Originality/valueThe results of the performed research confirmed the general hypothesis that machine technologies allow improving the innovative, marketing and organizational and managerial activities and activities in the sphere of R&D through automatization of certain stages of the process of creation of intangible assets. The authors determine the factors that define the contribution of machine technologies in this process and their competitive advantages as compared to human intellectual capital during creation of intangible assets. These advantages prove the possibility and expedience of division of human and machine labor during creation of intangible assets.

The authors argue that the contemporary scholarship on hydro energy in Russia lacks a comprehensive overview of development trends, global and regional challenges, and future prospects in connection with the ongoing processes in other sectors of the national economy. Consequently, this paper addresses the gap existing in the scholarship by providing a holistic view of the current state of Russia’s hydro energy. It also identifies and discusses the key developmental constraints, including the general economic and political situation developing both in Russia and in the world, negative trends in the country’s wholesale electricity market and the long-term capacity market, the Russian Government’s focus on development of nuclear power stations and not hydroelectric power stations, as well problems of ensuring the technical and environmental safety of hydropower facilities. Light scattering in a 3% aqueous solution of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (metolose) is studied under nonequilibrium conditions within a temperature range of 303–353 K, i.e., in the neighborhood of the phase transition temperature (336 K). It is established that the light scattering intensity undergoes considerable fluctuations in this temperature interval. It is shown that they are caused by quasi-periodic motions (density fluctuations) appearing in the strongly nonequilibrium state of the solution.

Melting of crystalline compounds inside the nanopores of open-morphology porous systems was studied on a model system, consisted of 1-octadecene and silica gels with different pore sizes, by means of thermogravimetry, differential scanning calorimetry and powder X-ray diffraction. The parameters of silica gels porous structure (surface area, pore size and volume) were calculated using N2 adsorption data. To describe the experimental results, a new thermodynamic model of crystallites melting inside the nanopores of irregular shape was established. This model allows an analytical prediction for the shift of phase transition temperature and melting enthalpy (latent heat of melting) due to the surface tension effects. To a first approximation, both parameters must linearly depend on the specific ratio of the total surface of pores to their total volume, and experimental studies have mostly confirmed this result for the melting of 1-octadecene confined inside the pores of a wide range of various silicas (with the pores of different sizes and geometry).

Noting the enormous importance of the Russian and energy complex for international and domestic energy policies, the paper critically reviews the Energy Strategy of Russia until 2035, focusing on the state, challenges, and development trends of the global and Russian energy. We devote a lot of attention to the internal problems and export opportunities, the key aspects of the Russian energy policy in long-term perspectives, as well as review the development scenarios and stages of implementation. While conducting a critical review, we focus on how well the Strategy captures the current situation in international energy markets and trends in the development of the Russian energy and fuel complex. We also look into how comprehensively the Strategy addresses the identified challenges and possible prospects, as well as discuss which provisions could strengthen the Strategy. Our analysis clearly demonstrates that the Strategy adequately addresses both international and domestic processes leading to the current state of the Russian fuel and energy complex. However, we also point out to a number of shortcomings. First, it still supports the export-oriented model of energy development in Russia, but it would be much promising to focus on building a model of resource-innovative development. Second, there is no comprehensive strategy of working on the European energy market and the markets of the Asia-Pacific region, and the proposed scenarios do not take into account the shrinking export demand in the future. Third, it primary focuses on the carbon resources, not providing sufficient attention to the increasing role of renewable energy. Fourth, the outlined ambitious plans of technological modernization of the refinery sector appear hard to implement in the current conditions of protracted technological development and technological sanctions. Purpose The purpose of the paper is to determine the perspectives of diversification of educational services in the conditions of industry 4.0 on the basis of artificial intelligence (AI) training, determine the consequences of this process for academic and teaching staff and to develop recommendations for its practical implementation. Design/methodology/approach The methods of horizontal, trends and regression analysis are used for studying social consequences of digital modernization of the markets of higher education (for academic and teaching staff). The research is performed by the example of modern Russia on the basis of the statistical data of Federal State Statistics Service and the International Telecommunication Union. The timeframe of the research covers academic years 2000/2001-2018/2019. Findings It is determined that digital modernization of the sphere of higher education stimulates the reduction of the universities’ need for academic and teaching staff and growth of their unemployment. However, further digital modernization of economy on the basis of breakthrough technologies of industry 4.0 will lead to creation of a new type of educational services that are provided within entrepreneurship of universities – AI training of business. This will ensure development of university entrepreneurship (and reduction of dependence of universities on state financing), as well as growth of the employment opportunities for experts (academic and teaching staff) in the sphere of AI, which will not depend on the number of students, but will be connected to demand for AI training from digital business. Originality/value The role of AI training in the structure of production business processes of a university in the conditions of industry 4.0 is determined. The necessity for state stimulation of development of digital business in the modern economic systems is substantiated. It is shown that government has to pay close attention to the issues of support in the sphere of AI and mass distribution of their results. Because of this, it will be possible to control social risks in the sphere of higher education.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to substantiate the perspectives and to develop recommendations for managing digital modernization of regional markets of educational services in the conditions of formation of Industry 4.0 by the example of modern Russia. Design/methodology/approach The methodological basis of the research consists of the hypothetical and deductive method. The offered hypothesis of the necessity for decentralization of managing digital modernization of regional markets of educational services in the conditions of formation of Industry 4.0 is verified with the help of a complex of methods of economic statistics (econometrics), namely, the method of regression analysis and analysis of variation. The research objects are regions of modern Russia that are peculiar for the highest level of scientific and technological development (top 15 of 83 regions at the beginning of 2019), which shows their largest progress in formation of Industry 4.0. The information and empirical basis of the research consists of the materials of the report on human development in the Russian Federation “Human and Innovations”, prepared by the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation (values of the education index are taken from it), and analytical materials of the rating “Level of Development of Science and Technologies in Regions of Russia” as a result of 2018, prepared by Ria rating (values of the index of scientific and technological development are taken from it). Findings It is determined that regional specifics are not sufficiently considered during management of modernization of regional markets of educational services in the conditions of formation of Industry 4.0 in modern Russia. This reduces efficiency of managing digital modernization of regional markets of educational services and leads to the fact that these markets do not perform their function of infrastructural provision of Industry 4.0, slowing down the process of its formation. Originality/value The necessity for managing modernization of the markets of educational services in the conditions of formation of Industry 4.0 at the regional level, in view of specifics of the regional economy, is substantiated. For this, a conceptual model and recommendations for its practical application in modern Russia are offered.

In this paper, we review forty seven best papers on digitalization of the Russian fuel and energy complex. All the papers are written in Russian and published in a number of Russian academic journals that are mostly distributed via closed national library systems and, consequently, are not available for foreign scholars interested in studying Russia’s energy policies. Our review identifies a total of five research directions in the Russian scholarship: (i) general trends in digitalization of the Russian fuel and energy complex; (ii) concepts and approaches used by the Russian scholars; (iii) government policies; (iv) digital technologies; and (v) security concerns. Each research direction is carefully covered and analyzed. The paper critically reviews the existing energy efficiency policies in the construction and housing sector of Russia, focusing on the following: (i) the government management system; (ii) technological regulations; (iii) financial incentives and funding; (iv) and supporting mechanisms. The methodology used by the Government of Russia to specifically monitor energy efficiency performance in the construction and housing sector is evaluated, with the use of statistical data obtained from the government statistical service. On the basis of the conducted review, the paper proposes three recommendations for the Government of Russia, which could become the first step for improving energy efficiency policies in the construction and housing sector: (i) to provide an appropriate assessment of the energy efficiency potential; (ii) to develop a comprehensive regulatory framework and implementation mechanisms aimed at increasing energy efficiency; (iii) to develop a clear causal mechanism between energy efficiency policies and actual performance, which could be quantitatively measured using an appropriate methodology.Keywords: Energy Efficiency, Construction and Housing, RussiaJEL Classifications: Q43, Q48, L74, L78, N64DOI: https://doi.org/10.32479/ijeep.7608

The paper addresses the gap existing in the scholarship and provides an analysis of the energy security performance made by the group of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, and South Africa) over the total of 25 years, from 1990 to 2015. The research is based on a comprehensive approach to understanding energy security as the total of four dimensions: availability, efficiency, affordability, and environmental stewardship. An energy security performance index operationalizes each dimension of energy security with three indicators, which allows to quantitatively measure the progress made by the group of BRICS in terms of ensuring their energy security. The research conducted surprisingly shows that the overall energy security of BRICS as a group of states has not changed over the years. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to study the influence of remote education on the consumer value of university education by the example of modern Russia. Design/methodology/approach The authors determine the consumer value of university education in modern Russia in the conditions of the availability of predominantly traditional education; determine socio-economic problems that are caused by the low consumer value of university education in modern Russia; determine the potential of remote education in the increase of the consumer value of university education; and develop recommendations for the increase of the consumer value of university education in modern Russia through the development of remote education. Findings It is concluded that traditional university education is dominating in Russia. It is standardized and does not allow for the full consideration of individual capabilities and needs of each separate student, which causes the low consumer value of university education. The limitation of traditional and remote education, caused by the fact that educational services in each form are provided by completely different universities, hinders the development of the potential of remote education in stimulating the increase of the consumer value of university education. Originality/value In order to solve this problem, it is recommended to unify traditional and remote education within the diversification of the forms of the provision of educational services by modern Russian universities. For that, a conceptual model for increasing the consumer value of university education in modern Russia through the development of remote education is presented. This model focuses on applicant and students with their individual capabilities and needs and universities with their material and technical, intellectual, marketing and other resources. At that, the educational form goes to the background, being not a self-goal but a method of its achievement – the provision of the high consumer value of university education.

Purpose The working hypothesis of this research is that specifics of activities of university that provides remote education does not allow using the same evaluation criteria for assessment of its competitiveness that allow assessing competitiveness of university that provides traditional education. The purpose of this paper is to verify the offered hypothesis, study the modern Russian experience of evaluating the competitiveness of university that provides remote education and develop methodological recommendations for improving this process. Design/methodology/approach The authors use the existing scientific approaches to determining competitiveness of a company, including university, for complex and comprehensive study of the set problem. The information and analytical basis of this research is formed of methodological materials of the ranking of best universities of Russia for 2017 according to independent analytical agency “RaExpert” and “Announcement of open competition for state support for leading universities of the Russian Federation for the purpose of raising their competitiveness among the leading global scientific and educational centers of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF.” Findings The offered hypothesis was proved. It is concluded that modern Russia uses the same (common) criteria for evaluating competitiveness of universities, regardless of the form of provided educational services. This is incorrect from the scientific and methodological point of view, as the work shows that most criteria are characterized by different applicability as to the university that provides traditional education and the university that provides remote education. Originality/value Methodological provision of evaluating the university’s competitiveness that provides remote education is elaborated by the authors by development of additional criteria. It is recommended to assign weight coefficients to all criteria depending on the level of applicability (importance) as to the university that provides remote education.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to substantiate the perspectives of using remote education as a means of restoring Russian recessing regions’ economy and develop framework recommendations for this. Design/methodology/approach The set goal is achieved by finding the dependence of the values of indicators of socio-economic development on the level of development of education in Russian regions. The methods of regression and correlation analysis are used for that. Findings The findings showed a moderate direct connection between the development of education and socio-economic position of the region if found. Qualitative analysis allowed substantiating large perspectives of using remote education as a means of restoring Russian recessing regions’ economy, which have two manifestations. The first one is related to the increase of accessibility of educational services in Russian regions. Due to this, the potential of development of region’s human potential is better realized. Being one of the key resources in the conditions of knowledge economy, human resources stimulate the activation of entrepreneurial activities, growth of labor efficiency and innovational activity of region’s companies. The second manifestation envisages the formation of entrepreneurship in the sphere of remote education as a growth vector and source of competitive advantages of recessing region’s economy. This opens possibilities for the formation of knowledge economy in region and supporting its high competitiveness. Low capital intensity of entrepreneurship in the sphere of remote education makes it accessible for development even in recessing regions, stimulating the growth of the volume of tax revenues into the regional state budget and formation of its positive balance. Originality/value For the practical implementation of the determined large perspectives of using remote education as a means of restoring Russian recessing regions’ economy, authors’ framework recommendations are offered, which are aimed at the improvement of normative and legal conditions for the conduct of entrepreneurial activities in the sphere of remote education, information support for this entrepreneurship and its marketing support and promotion as a basis of region’s economy’s competitiveness.

Purpose: This research aims to study the role of non-commercial organizations as subjects of social entrepreneurship in the market economy. Design/methodology/approach: Correlation analysis is used to determine the connection between the indicators of non-commercial organizations’ development and the indicators of their potential contribution to development of society and economy. Findings: It is determined that in developed countries (shown by the example of G7) non-commercial organizations contribute the most to acceleration of economic growth (52.93% on average), increase of global competitiveness (31.62%), and acceleration of economy’s innovative development (45.12%). We see a clear domination of economic contribution, in which the key role belongs to charity (42.18%). In developing countries (shown by the example of BRICS), non-commercial organizations contribute the most to increase of quality of life (34.50%) and acceleration of economic growth rate (24.15%). We see a clear combination of social and economic contribution, in which the key role belongs information disclosure (24.10%) and number of non-commercial companies (31.64%). Originality/value: It is determined that non-commercial organizations contribute both to social and economic development. However, this is manifested more clearly in developing countries. Differences are determined in the models of non-commercial organizations’ development in developed and developing countries, and the concept of social entrepreneurship is specified – which allows forming a scientific basis for independent development of economic policy and corporate strategies by non-commercial organizations in these groups of countries in case of refusal from routine use of international experience for accounting the specifics of functioning and development of social entrepreneurship in each separate economic system.

Purpose: The purpose of this work is to study the experience of sustainable development of modern Russian regions and to identify the optimal financial support of Industry 4.0 as the basis for environmental safety of various types of regions.

The paper discusses the influence of silica gel pores’ size on the structure and the dielectric properties of the nanocrystals of undecylenic acid with the view of determining molecular mechanisms of the possible pharmacological activity of similar substances. To achieve these goals, the powder XRD method was utilized. The nanocrystals formed in the silica gel pores show the absence of order along the long axes of molecules. The dielectric relaxation in the bulk undecylenic acid and its nanocrystals was studied using dielectric spectroscopy. The decrease in pores’ size led to a decrease in the temperatures of the relaxation process. We relate this shift to the formation of additional stresses in the nanocrystals caused by the interaction with the silica gel walls.

Cellulose-based composites are considered as perspective materials for novel optoelectronic devices. Due to structure of cellulose it can be incorporate with various additives, in particular oxides, in order to produce composites with improved physico-chemical properties. This paper reports data on preparation and characterization of composites based on micro/nanocrystalline cellulose with ZrO 2 nanopaticles codoped with europium and fluorine ions. Morphology, dielectric and luminescence properties of the composites have been studied and analyzed together with data on properties of the starting components and literature data. It was found that samples consist of tightly packed cellulose plates of 2 – 20 µm in size. The small oxide particles are generally located inside the cellulose plates, while the larger ones and agglomerates are found on the plate's surfaces. Chemical elements analysis has shown that carbon and oxygen with average content about 71 and 29 at. %, respectively, are the main components in the most areas of the plates. Degrees of crystallinity for the samples were estimated from XRD patterns and obtained values are in the 58 - 61 % range. The photoluminescence spectra of composites consist of wide band with maxima near 480 nm related with cellulose host and weak bands of Eu3+ ions luminescence peaks in 580–700 nm spectral region. In case of excitation at 393nm the CIE chromaticity coordinates of composites are moving from (x=0.211, y=0.261) for pure cellulose to (x=0.250, y=0.343) for composite with 10 wt. % of ZrO 2 :Eu,F in composite. Dielectric relaxations were observed for real and imaginary part of dielectric permittivity near – 50°C and ascribed to reorientation of methyl groups on the micro/nanocellulose crystallites surfaces.

Phase transitions in nano-sized systems are of fundamental importance in a variety of fields, including sustainable energy and the pharmaceutical industries. Here we report the thermal properties of undecylenic acid nanocrystals in silica gel pores of different sizes and the chemical composition of the pores’ surface. The results of N2 absorption at 77 K, thermogravimetric method, powder XRD method, and differential scanning calorimetry were analyzed to gain an insight into the processes accompanying the phase transition. We using a thermodynamic model of nanocrystal melting in an open porous system and analyze temperature dependence of the effective size of pores, as well as the dependence of the specific heat of melting on the effective size of the pores. This model helps us obtain the following properties of the undecylenic acid: the density of nanocrystals, pressure inside the nanocrystal, the relation between the surface tension coefficients and specific entropies on the nanocrystal-porous matrix interface and melt-porous matrix interface. We demonstrate that as the nanocrystals of the undecylenic acid form in the cavities of the porous matrix, the pressure in such nanocrystals, and thus their densities are much lower than pressure and density in bulk crystals of the undecylenic acid. However, when the crystallization of the nanocrystals occurs in the presence of aliphatic chains grafted on the silica gel pore walls, these chains become embedded into nanocrystals. As the result, the character of the change of properties reverses: both the pressure in the undecylenic acid nanocrystals and their density become larger than those for a bulk undecylenic acid crystal. Throughout the paper, we also contrast the behaviour of a polar undecylenic acid in pores with that of nonpolar 1-octadecen molecules.

A method for determining the complex dielectric permeability of liquids based on the temperature changes in geometrical parameters (thickness) of samples and over the phase transition range is proposed. Allowing the measurements to be made in a wide temperature range (–190 to 60°C) at different frequencies (0.1–100 kHz), this technique is used for establishing the complex dielectric permeability of ethanol as a function of temperature. The accuracy of coincidence of the obtained values with the data reported in the literature is 3%.

Nanocrystallite-liquid phase transitions are studied for 1-octadecene confined in the pores of chemically functionalized silica gels. These silica gels possess similar fractal geometries of the pore system but differ in chemical termination of the surface, specific surface area (F) and pore volume (V). Linear dependencies of the melting temperature and specific melting heat on the F/V ratio are found for a series of silica gels with identical surface termination. A thermodynamic model based on experimental data is established, which explains the observed shift of the phase transition parameters for porous matrices with different surface chemistries. In addition, this model allows evaluation of actual changes in nanocrystallite density, surface tension and entropy upon melting.

Purpose: The purpose of the article is to determine the current position of Russia in the modern global economic system through the prism of the methodology of the theory of growth poles of economic growth and to create a strategy of increasing the global competitiveness of the Russian economy and Russia’s becoming a new growth vector of the global economy. Methodology: The authors use the method of regression analysis for determining the dependence of the annual growth rate of the global GDP on the volume of Russia’s GDP in market prices, developing a strategy of increasing the global competitiveness of the Russian economy and Russia’s becoming a new growth vector of the global economy, and determining the growth poles of the Russian economy, with study of the influence of the volume of production in various spheres of national economy on annual growth rate of Russia’s GDP in market prices. The research is conducted in the period of post-crisis restoration of the Russian economy — 2009–2018, on the basis of statistical data of the Federal State Statistics Service and the World Bank. Results: It is substantiated that Russia is a growth pole of the world economy. However, Russia’s potential is not fully implemented due to imperfection of the strategy of managing the competitiveness. Recommendations: For solving this problem, framework recommendations are offered for development and implementation of a new strategy of increasing the global competitiveness of the Russian economy and opening its potential as a growth vector of the global economy, aimed at activation of innovational development of industry on the basis of the sphere of Industry 4.0. Practical implementation of the developed strategy will allow increasing the investment attractiveness and using the resources for increasing the global competitiveness of the Russian economy and opening its potential as a growth vector of the global economy.

Purpose: The purpose of the article is to determine the place and role of local entrepreneurial structures in the process of acceleration of growth of the modern global economy and to substantiate the preferential directions (stimulation or restraint) of state and supra-national regulation of further development of local entrepreneurship. Methodology: The authors use the method of regression analysis for determining the influence of gross added value that is created by local entrepreneurial structures on the annual growth rate of the global GDP. For obtaining the most precise and detailed results, the research is conducted for two time periods: before the global financial crisis (2000–2008) and after it (2010–2018), which allows achieving representativeness of both selections (number of observations for time rows is nine). The information and empirical base of the research is statistical data of the World Bank. Results: It is determined that local entrepreneurial structures do not directly stimulate the acceleration of growth of the modern global economy. This influence is predetermined by the growth of local economy, which is a structural item of the global economic system. Though in quantitative expression the growth rate of the modern global economy is not influenced by local entrepreneurial structures, their development stimulates the increase of quality of this growth, ensuring its stability and balance. Recommendations: It is shown that growth of the number and strengthening of positions of local entrepreneurial structures in local sectorial markets after the global financial crisis (2010–2018) reduce their susceptibility to future crises and increases economic security due to development of import substitution. That’s why the measures of state regulators should be oriented at stimulation of development of local entrepreneurial structures for accelerating the growth rate of the national economy. However, for acceleration of growth of the modern global economy it is recommended to conduct simultaneous stimulation of development of international entrepreneurship.

Originality/value: Peculiarities of making of managerial decisions in modern business systems, predetermined by observation of the basic principles, are shown: constant monitoring of external environment for determining new possibilities and actual problems and determining the need for managerial decisions; founding on materials of marketing research, conduct of marketing communications for informing and supporting loyalty of interested parties in the process of implementation of decisions; and striving for increasing or at least preserving the uniqueness and effectiveness of business system during decision making (criterion of optimality of decisions).

Originality/value The offered principles allowed determining the landmarks of development of modern socio-economic systems that strive for “conflict-free” character. Based on these principles, it is possible to develop a fundamental platform for studying “conflict-free” socio-economic systems.
