The purpose of the presented paper is to discuss on the factors that influence the satisfaction of the insured persons with the assistance centre (AC) of the investigated health insurance company. In the empirical part of the research the factors which are important for the satisfaction of the insured with the AC were investigated with the questionnaire for insured persons. The factor that is the most statistically positively related to user satisfaction is the ‘understanding the needs and requirements of policyholders’. Based on the findings from empirical research (questionnaire for insured persons and interview with AC’s employees), improvement proposals were defined which should increase the satisfaction of policyholders with the AC’s service. Recognized findings and suggestions should be considered and reasonably implemented by the insurance policy designers.

Background and Originality: The purpose of the presented research was to enhance the understanding and management of key performance indicators (Cpk, OEE, and ROI) in the automotive industry. The originality of the study stems from its emphasis on process technological performance and digitalization of measurements, which are crucial in today's industry. Method: The research was based on a case study, involving data analysis, the utilization of a Cpk measurement system, and event tracking through a logbook. The theoretical framework is based on measuring process technological performance and its connection to financial outcomes. Results: In the third phase of optimization, significant improvements were recorded in the indicators, including higher Cpk, OEE, and ROI values. These enhanced indicators led to compliance with final product specifications and concurrently increased production operational efficiency. Digitalization of measurements allowed for the rapid detection of process deviations and real-time adjustments in measurements. Society: Preliminary research results already make a substantial contribution to the automotive industry by emphasizing the crucial role of the business and technological performance measurement system and digitalization in improving operational efficiency. This can support enhanced process management and add value to social responsibility and environmental protection. Limitations/Further Research: Research limitations are related to the case study approach and temporal and financial constraints. Further research is recommended to delve into correlations between process technological performance indicators and financial outcomes and expand the study to other industries.

In this paper we present the organisation and execution of the 11th International Symposium on Organisational Science Development, entitled Management and Social Responsibility, which is organised by the Faculty of Organisational Sciences in Belgrade. The Symposium is already a traditional event and it has taken place in Zlatibor for many years, but this year it was held in Belgrade itself in order to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the University of Belgrade. The fact that more than 450 authors and co-authors, coming from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Croatia, Israel, Macedonia, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, the USA, et al., attended the symposium clearly confirms the topicality of conference’s contents in all areas of management, for example in the area of product and service development, finances, quality, informatics, human resources and many others.

Digital technology has become an important part of society and deserves attention and in-depth research, which is still lacking. The study presented in this paper includes international perspectives from six countries and examines which factors influence the use of digital technologies in future pedagogical work in primary schools. Specifically, we investigated how pre-service teachers assess their attitudes, knowledge, and skills towards digital technology, and we determined these factors’ role in the pre-service teachers’ future use of digital technologies in pedagogical work. For the purpose of the research, an online questionnaire was used, which contained open-ended questions, optional questions, and five-point Likert-type scales, and Spearman correlation and Stepwise linear regression statistical methods were used in the data analysis. The sample consisted of 573 full-time and part-time undergraduate pre-service teachers from the Faculties of Education’s higher professional programmes in Norway, Slovenia, Portugal, Turkey, Ukraine, and Jordan. Data were collected between June 2021 and May 2022 and processed using IBM SPSS. The present research showed the significant importance of knowledge and skills about digital technologies and professional attitude towards digital tool factors for pre-service teachers’ future professional use of digital technologies. The demonstrated intention of the future use of digital technologies showed the readiness of pre-service teachers regarding the inclusion of digital technologies in pedagogical work. Opportunities for further research are in the implementation of focus groups after surveying pre-service teachers, as well as regular measurements and the inclusion of other important constructs in the regression model.

Researchers and society in general seem to be conflicted regarding the use of digital technology in early childhood education (ECE). Some are focusing on the positive aspects of using digital technology, while others are critical and position it as an enemy of early childhood practice. It has been argued that digital technology is not appropriate for young children’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. Nevertheless, supporting and developing young children’s beginning digital competence is implemented in curricula and teacher education globally. The need for teachers’ professional digital competence (PDC) is increasing according to the development and increased use of digital technology in society as a whole, including in the field of education. The field of research has, to a large extent, been focused on primary and secondary education, and there is a lack of research on PDC in ECE. To gain insight into the dynamics of PDC in ECE, we investigated a range of ECE contexts by including different international perspectives in a comparative study of pre-service early childhood (EC) teachers transitioning to being in-service teachers. The survey was conducted in eight different nations (Norway, Slovenia, Portugal, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, England and Jordan) and resulted in 772 responses from pre-service teachers in the last year of their education. The paper discusses these international perspectives, considering the differences found between nations. It also investigates the dynamics of PDC, understood in this article as comprising attitudes, skills and knowledge. Following this, it also investigates how these dynamics are affecting the pre-service teachers’ expectations related to their future application of digital tools as teachers to be. The results indicate large differences between nations for both single items and multi-item scales. At the same time, the dynamics of digital practices across nations reveal that attitudes, digital skills and knowledge are statistically strong predictors of pre-service teachers’ future use of educational digital technology (EDT). This indicates both similarities and differences across nations and could serve as insight regarding the development of teacher programmes and the importance of including all aspects when developing pre-service teachers’ PDC. This article, due to its limitation, will not elaborate in depth on contextual differences, and further qualitative research is needed to understand the complexity related to educational culture and practice.

analytic hierarchy process ,analytic network process ,balanced scorecard ,decision-making ,performance measurement systems ,strategy ,Information theory ,Q350-390 - Abstract
The development and empirical verification of the balanced scorecard (BSC) model, using the multi-criteria decision-making methods (MCDM) called the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the analytic network process (ANP), are the key issues of the presented research. The paper presents the methodology of the prioritisation of the BSC goals with the AHP and ANP methods. Even though the prioritisation of the goals is possible with both, findings from the empirical analysis showed that the ANP is more complementary with the BSC because of the influences among the goals in the BSC. The ANP supports the modelling of those influences (through dependencies) and the AHP does not. The paper discusses special situations in prioritizing the BSC goals (understanding the ANP from the perspective of the user and the BSC with strategic goals that do not directly influence any other strategic goal) and proposes solutions. Therefore, it can be asserted that introducing the ANP to implement the BSC and vice versa, improved the decision-making approach and the quality of the obtained results. The research was based on a case study of modelling the BSC for Ydria Motors LL (YM), a manufacturing company.

In 2010, Luka Koper port and logistics system celebrated its 53rd anniversary. From being a small local port they have developed into the significant port and logistic system - European Logistics and Distribution Centre Luka Koper, d.d., in the Adriatic and European maritime market. The main purpose of this paper is to present the development of the management system. Luka Koper, d.d. was recognized for Excellence (R4E) in the 2005 and finalist in the 2006 Excellence Award (EEA) process. Within this research we stressed the importance of the influence of process key performance indicators (KPIs’) on the business results of the company through the EFQM model harmonization. The case of a company which is regularly and systematically accomplishing the Supervisory Board resolution about business management model harmonization with the principles of the EFQM model is very rare in Slovenia. From the literature review we have not found any similar case study research. Qualitative and quantitative analysis indicates the general benefits of the KPIs’ influence on the business results. In this context, diagnosis and consecutive deeper understanding of the process KPIs’ influence on the business results should be the basis for further improvements of the company’s performance.
