Purpose - The primary concern of SRI in Indonesia began in 2009 along with the establishment of the Sri Kehati Index (SKI). Since its launch, historically Sri Kehati index has shown better performance compared to several major indices such as the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI), LQ45, Jakarta Islamic Index, and so on. However, the number of works of literature revealed that the majority of research focuses on the demographic of investors. While investigating related to the role of their religion still small. Moreover, the product of SRI in Indonesia has been established and the type of investor has been classified. Thus examining the behavior of Muslim investors is a necessity. Methodology - Self-administered questionnaire was used to collect the data. Then, the questionnaire was shared through an online form nationwide. 205 respondents were collected. Hence, partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to analyze the data. Findings - The result revealed that socially-oriented investment, environmental-oriented investment, and religiosity have a positive significant influence on the intention to be a socially responsible investment. While financial-oriented investment has an insignificant influence on the intention to be a socially responsible investment. Moreover, religiosity moderates between socially oriented and environmentally oriented investment negatively. Originality - The present paper contributes to the existing literature by giving new evidence of Muslim investor intention in SRI in Indonesia. A recently independent state, Timor-Leste, is progressing towards socioeconomic development, prioritizing women empowerment while its increased fertility rate (4.1) could hinder the growth due to an uncontrolled population. Currently, limited evidence shows that indicators of women's empowerment are associated with fertility preferences and rates. The objective of this study was to assess the association between women empowerment and fertility preferences of married women aged 15 to 49 years in Timor-Leste using nationally representative survey data. The study was conducted using the data of the latest Timor-Leste Demographic and Health Survey 2016. The study included 4040 rural residents and 1810 urban residents of Timor-Leste. Multinomial logistic regression has been performed to assess the strength of association between the exposures indicating women's empowerment and outcome (fertility preference). After adjusting the selected covariates, the findings showed that exposures that indicate women empowerment in DHS, namely, the employment status of women, house and land ownership, ownership of the mobile phone, and independent bank account status, contraceptive use, and the attitude of women towards negotiating sexual relations are significantly associated with fertility preferences. The study shows higher the level of education, the less likely were the women to want more children, and unemployed women were with a higher number of children. Our study also found that the attitude of violence of spouses significantly influenced women's reproductive choice. However, employment had no significant correlation with decision-making opportunities and contraceptive selection due to a lack of substantial data. Also, no meaningful data was available regarding decisionmaking and fertility preferences. Our findings suggest that women's empowerment governs decisionmaking in fertility preferences, causing a decline in the fertility rate. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction to The Problem: Indonesia as the most populous Muslim country has a huge potential for zakat collection. However, the zakat collection never meets its potential. Hence, the need for localization is critical to maximizing the zakat collection. Objective Study: this paper attempt to develop the mosque-based zakat collection to maximize the potential of zakat. Methodology: based on the literature review and empirical investigation, the self-administered questionnaire is used to collect the data. Hence, we use the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the data. The sample of this research is the mosque management (takmir masjid) in Yogyakarta. A random sampling technique is used to determine the samples. Hence, service quality and zakat distribution are independent variable and intention to distribute the zakat as dependent variable. While trust as variable moderating between dependent and independent variables. Findings: This study found that the service quality of the zakat institution significantly influences the intention to distribute the zakat. While zakat distribution influences insignificantly the intention to distribute the zakat.
