Many scholars performed the analysis by using the non-Newtonian fluids based on the nano and hybrid nano particles in blood arteries to investigate the heat transport for cure in several diseases. These performances are presented to investigate the blood flow behaviour with extended form of the novel tetra hybrid Das and Tiwari nanofluid system attached by the Carreau fluid. The assessment of energy transport has been achieved based on the thermal radiation, heat source/sink, Joule heating, and viscous dissipation. The obtained partial differential equation from physical problem is transformed into ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by using the similarity variables. Furthermore, system of nonlinear ODEs attached with boundary conditions are transported into the system of first-order ODEs with initial conditions. For the numerical solution of obtained ODEs, the numerical solutions have been performed based on the RK method. The numerical results are plotted through figures, tables, and statistical graphs. Magnetic forces and inclined magnetic effects are caused to reduce velocity of blood. Temperature of blood within the arteries is increased by increasing the parameter of thermal radiation.

Tetra hybrid nanofluids are significant due to their unique properties like thermal and electrical conductivity enhancement, increased heat transfer, and improved fluid flow characteristics. This attempt proposes a tetra hybrid cross nanofluid model with the implementation of cubic autocatalysis in the context of blood flow passing through a stenosis artery. The model includes the effects of nanofluid, magnetic field, thermal radiation, and the cubic autocatalysis mechanism. This research investigates the innovative application of cubic autocatalysis within the context of blood flow through a tetra hybrid cross nanofluid model, specifically designed to simulate conditions within a stenosis horizontal artery. The equations governing the fluid flow are solved using the bvp5c method, and the numerical solutions are obtained for various parameter values. Specifically, the cubic autocatalysis mechanism profoundly impacts the velocity and concentration profiles of the blood flow. The proposed model and the obtained results provide new insights into the physics of blood flow passing through stenosis arteries. They may have important implications for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This article has a unique combination of tetra hybrid cross nanofluid model, cubic autocatalysis, and blood flow passing through the stenosis artery. These facts are not typically studied together in the context of blood flow.

For treating and diagnosing cardiovascular diseases, the field of biomedical engineering is significant because it develops new ways and techniques. Stenosis is the narrowing of an artery, and it leads reduction in the flow rate of blood. This study investigates the blood flow mechanism in an artery using a mathematical model of Carreau nanofluid with four distinct nanoparticles. Tetra nanofluid model produces significant advancement in the simulation of blood flow through the stenosed arteries. The model is capable of predicting the pressure drop and velocity distribution for diagnosing and treating stenosis. The spectral relaxation approach is used to present the model's efficiency and effectiveness, which makes it a suitable method for solving the governing equations of this study. The findings of this study have important implications for the development of new treatments and diagnostic techniques for stenosis and other cardiovascular diseases.

The ternary hybrid nanofluid leads to a significant enhancement in thermal performance applications like heat transfer in automotive engines, solar thermal energy storage, aerospace, and electronic cooling. The present study investigates the thermal characteristics of a ternary hybrid magnetized and radiated cross nanofluid comprising Al2O3, TiO2, and Ag nanoparticles in water subjected to combined convection flow around a vertical cylinder. Furthermore, innovative effects of the magnetic field, absorber surface of the cylinder, non-linear thermal radiations, and effective thermophysical characteristics of ternary nanofluid are taken, and a new model for heat transport is successfully achieved. The governing equations in the form of partial differential equations (PDEs) are obtained through Navier–Stokes and heat equations by applying current assumptions. The system of PDEs is converted into a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) via a similarity variable. The built-in code bvp4c in Matlab software further exercises the dimensionless ODE equations numerically. Adding multiple nanoparticles and the magnetic field effect enhances the heat transfer rate in the ternary hybrid cross nanofluid. The Weissenberg number reduces the velocity, the radiation parameter increases heat transport, and the increased volume friction of nanoparticles enhances thermal conductivity and rapid heat transport.

The main objective of this work is to investigate numerically double-diffusive mixed convection flow in a channel filled with a hybrid nanofluid of Cu-Al2O3 in a porous media. It is considered that the cavity's left wall is continuously heated. The fluid flow enters the channel at low concentration and temperature. This work has been looked into two cases: Case 1, where it is supposed that the left wall cavity has high concentrations, and Case 2, where it is expected that the right wall cavity has high concentrations. The cavity's remaining walls are impermeable and thermally insulated. Non-dimension governing equations are solved with the finite element method. Parameters effects of Reynolds number(10≤Re≤100), Richardson number (2≤Ri≤10), Darcy number (Da=10-2, 10-4), Lewis number (1≤Le≤5), buoyancy ratio, N=1, the solid volume fraction (ϕ=0.02), and Prandtl number (Pr=6.2). The results show that increasing Reynolds, Richardson, and Darcy numbers increases the average Nusselt while it decreases by increasing Lewis number. In addition, Sherwood numbers increase with increasing Reynolds, Lewis, and Darcy numbers while they decrease with Richardson numbers for both cases. When the Reynolds number increases from 10 to 50 at (Da=10-4) and (Ri =10), the Nusselt number increases by 102%, while the Sherwood number decreases to 72%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study reports the thermal analysis and species transport to manifest non-Newtonian materials flowing over linear stretch sheets. The heat transfer phenomenon is presented by the Cattaneo–Christov definition of heat flux. Mass transportation is modeled using traditional Fick’s second law. In addition, the contribution of Joule heating and radiation to thermal transmission is also considered. Thermo-diffusion and diffusion-thermo are significant contributions involved in thermal transmission and species. The physical depiction of the scenario under consideration is modeled through the boundary layer approach. Similar analysis has been made to convert the PDE model system into the respective ODE. Then, the transformed physical expressions are calculated for momentum, thermal, and species transport within the boundary layer. The reported study is a novel contribution due to the combined comportment of thermal relaxation time, radiation, Joule heating, and thermo-diffusion, which are not yet explored. Several engineering systems are based on their applications and utilization.

This article addresses the effects of thermal radiation, stratification, and Joule heating for the flow of magnetohydrodynamics Sutterby nanofluid past over a stretching cylinder. The transport phenomenon of heat and mass are modeled under temperature-dependent thermal conductivity and diffusion coefficients, respectively. Moreover, traditional Fourier and Fick’s laws have been implemented in thermal and mass transport expressions. The governing model that consists of a set of coupled partial differential equations is converted into system of nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations via suitable similarity transformations. The resulting set of expressions is analytically treated through an optimal homotopy scheme. The effects of different dimensionless flow parameters on the velocity, temperature, and concentration fields are illustrated through graphs. The patterns of skin friction coefficient, local Nusselt, and Sherwood numbers are examined via bar charts. The major outcome of the proposed study is that variable thermal conductivity decays the temperature and radiation raises the temperature of the system. Stratification parameters show the reverse behavior for temperature and concentration boundary layers. Shear rate-dependent rheology in view of Sutterby liquid has the ability to reduce the flow of fluid. Therefore, the ability of flow in rheology of Sutterby liquid becomes reduced. Consequently, layer of momentum boundary has increased with respect to parameter of Sutterby liquid.

The flow of ethylene glycol-based titania nanoliquid passing through a vertical plate induced by significant buoyancy forces (nonlinear convection) is analyzed with quadratic thermal radiation and considering the aggregation kinematics of the nanoparticles. The nanoliquid is modeled accounting for thermo-migration, Brownian motion, and the effectual thermophysical properties. The realistic zero mass flux and thermal slip conditions are considered on the surface of the plate. In addition, the mechanisms of exponential space-related heat source (ESHS) and thermal-based heat source (THS) are incorporated. The finite-difference technique-based bvp5c routine is used to obtain the numerical solution of thenonlinear system of equations. The effects of the parameters are examined on the dimensionless profiles of velocity, temperature, heat transport rate, the volume fraction of nanoparticles, and streamlines. It was found that the aggregation of nanoparticles significantly advances the temperature field while the velocity field is reduced. The ESHS and THS modulations improve the thickness of the thermal boundary layer. The quadratic thermal convection aspect improves the velocity of nanoliquid. Furthermore, the effects of quadratic thermal radiation assist the growth of the thermal boundary layer. The increase in energy demand and the awareness of renewable energy has been raised due to environmental and climate change and the need to establish sustainable energy development. Using fossil fuels has created a critical situation such as; climate change, air pollution, and emission of greenhouse gases also, the resources are in limited supply. The infinite source of energy such as; the sun can provide an effective and sustainable energy supply. Riyadh city in Saudi Arabia is one of the areas that receive a high quantity of direct solar radiation. An average direct normal irradiance (DNI) for the central region is equal to 2018 kWh/m2/year. This paper shows the design and the performance analysis of 100 MW Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) parabolic trough (PT) power plants with thermal energy storage (TES) for use in Riyadh city. The performance of this design plant is analyzed by using the system advisor model (SAM). Based on the analysis carried out for this design, the capacity factor is equal to 45.3% with an annual energy generation which is equal to 396, 801, 792 kWh. By varying two main parameters, the solar field size and the full load hours of TES to get the optimal design of this plant is done. Based on the simulation result, the proposed design of 100 MW parabolic trough at 1, 150, 000 m2 solar field size and 7 h TES gives the lowest Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) with an assumed lifespan of the plant of 25 years.
