This study’s primary objective is to examine the role of training on the relationship between strategy management, information technology (IT) management, and organizational performance. The study proposed the study model based on theoretical basis and a review of literature with the underpinning model being the Resource-Based View of the Firm (RBV), Knowledge–Based View (KBV) and innovation theories. The analysis of data was conducted on the effects of IT management and strategy management on the organizational performance of three hundred and forty-one (341) Sharjah Police in Emirate of Sharjah, UAE, to which the questionnaire survey copies were distributed to. A total of two hundred and forty-five (245) questionnaires were retrieved and tested with the help of SPSS. The analysis results indicated the positive and significant effects of both IT management and strategy management on the performance of Sharjah Police departments. The study enumerated recommendations for the effective IT management and strategy management implementation in the Sharjah Police and confirmed the underpinning theories applicability to the context.&nbsp

Purpose: This study was done to examine the effect of Project Management (PM) and Strategy Control (SC) on Project Success (PS). Moreover, the paper established an explanation of how the project success can be enhanced by implementing strategy control and project management.Design/methodology/approach: a survey questionnaire design was developed to examine the model of the research. 157 respondents were collected from Sharjah Construction Companies and analyzed with SmartPLS and SPSS.Findings: Based on statistical analysis, results reported positive and significant effect of Strategy control and Project management on Project success was confirmed. Practical implications: The study introduces a framework to align project management with business strategy. It will also help stakeholder, managers and other decision makers to have a comprehensive overview when implementing Strategy. Originality/value: This study is considered as one of the few empirical studies that examine the collective effect of Strategy Control and Project Management on Project Success. Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of TQM, HRM and OE on organizational performance. Design/Method/Approach: This study employed the survey questionnaire to gather data from the respondents in Al-Ain Municipality, and from 200 questionnaires, 135 were deemed were returned and deemed usable. For data analysis, Partial Least Square Equation Modeling was used. Findings: The findings from the statistical analysis showed a positive and significant effect of TQM and organizational excellence on organizational performance but the relationship between HRM and organizational performance was unconfirmed. Practical Implications: The study findings practical implications include the findings assisting managers and decision makers to reach a plausible decision concerning the TQM system implementation in the hopes of maximizing the overall organizational performance and excellence. Originality/Value: The present study is a pioneering study that investigates the collective effect of TQM, HRM and organizational excellence on the organizational performance. Purpose– The purpose of this paper is to examine the joint effect of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and total quality management (TQM) on the organizational performance.In addition, this study aimed to examine the ability of TQM to transmit the effect of EO on the organizational performance.Design/methodology/approach– To examine the hypothesized model of the study, the survey questionnaire research design was employed. The data were collected from Dubai police department.The total number of questionnaires distributed was 320 out of which only 111 usable questionnaires were returned.The structural equation modeling partial least squares approach was used.Findings– The statistical results confirmed the effect of EO and TQM on the organizational performance.In addition, TQM was found to partially mediate the effect of EO on organizational performance.Practical implications – Further details and valuable implications of this study were discussed throughout the study. The results of this study have many practical implications.The results will help managers to make the proper decisions when deciding to implement TQM in their organizations.TQM can help managers with strong EO to achieve maximum performance in organizations and to remain competitive in the market.Originality/value – This study is a rare and unique empirical study that examines the effect of EO on TQM and the mediating effect of TQM on the EO-performance relationship.

This study was set up to examine the effect of organizational excellence on organizational performance.A questionnaire survey was employed to collect the data from Dubai Police departments. Two hundred and fifty questionnaires were distributed and hundred and seventy five were returned completely. To analyze the data collected, Partial Least Square (PLS) structural Equation Modelling was employed.Based in the statistical results, the effect of organizational excellence on organizational performance was confirmed. The results of this study have different theoretical and practical implications. Theoretically, this study fill the gap in the previous literature in terms of the few studies examine empirically the casual effect of organizational excellence on organizational performance in public organization.Practically, this study will increase the awareness on managers, decision makers, and practitioners about the significant of excellence when implementing their strategies and practices.

Organizational performance and organizational excellence are the main two focuses of the management of any organization.In fact, the resources of an organization, either tangible or intangible, can distinguish the level of performance of one organization from its rivals. The question always is what are the key success factors that can enhance the organizational strategy implementation initiatives to produce value and create the competitive advantage. In today’s changing business environment, improvement and development of internal resources are very crucial to compete externally and globally. This paper aims to review the literature related to the organizational performance and explains the potential effects of TQM, ERP and EO.Given that not all the strategy implementation initiatives are fruitful, this paper attempted to establish an explanation of the mechanism through which such strategies can enhance the overall organizational performance.Based on a thorough review of the extant literature and the theoretical foundation, a research model was proposed.The proposed model is grounded by the fact that only excellent, innovative and differentiated companies and products can excite the customers and succeed in a turbulent business environment.
