Abstract

هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على دور التسويق الڤايروسي في تعزيز ثقة الزبون في قطاع شركات الاتصالات في العراق، باستخدام تقنيات حديثة حول الاتصال والتواصل مع الزبائن، وانطلقت الدراسة من مشكلة تم التعبير عنها بعدد من التساؤلات الفكرية والتطبيقية ، الفلسفة النظرية والدلالات الفكرية للمتغيرات التي تناولتها الدراسة (التسويق الفيروسي وثقة الزبون)، وتعّد من الأطر الفكرية الحديثة على البيئة العراقية، وتم تطبيق هذه الدراسة على شركة آسياسيل للهاتف النقال في العراق، ومن خلال عينة قصدية متكونة من (50) منتسباً يشغلون مناصب إدارية، وقد تم اعتماد المنهج التحليلي الوصفي من خلال تصميم استبانة لجمع البيانات اللازمة، وبرزت أهمية الدراسة من حداثة المتغيرات التي تناولتها، وقد كان اهم النتائج ان هناك تأثيراً للتسويق الڤايروسي في ثقة الزبون، وبناءً على ذلك تم تقديم مجموعة من التوصيات، التي كان أهمها ضرورة التوجه الى التسويق الالكتروني عبر مختلف الشبكات، ولا سيما ما أظهرته البيئة العراقية من نمو متزايد ومتسارع في استخدام هذه الشبكات، مع ضرورة الاهتمام بالهيكل التنظيمي للشركة عينة الدراسة، الذي يتوجب عليه إدارة الحملة التسويقية عبر موقع الشركة الالكتروني.

34. Impact of Women Empowerment and Socio-Economic Factors on Reproductive Behaviour of Pakistani Women.

Abstract

Reproduction is an important aspect of women's life, unfortunately in Pakistan fertility rates are quite high in comparison to other developing countries as well as the other South Asian countries. Different studies have suggested that women empowerment can be helpful in reducing the fertility rates. This study analyzes the role of women empowerment and other socioeconomic indicators on three different dimensions of the fertility behavior i.e. number of children born (current fertility status), ideal number of children and birth intervals (future fertility status) using the recent data of Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey 2017-18. Study found that women's being empowered in financial matters, seeking health care and role in household decision making are helpful in reducing the fertility. Furthermore, participation in job by women, living in urban areas, having secondary or higher education, access to awareness created by the media, married at higher age are also significant factors in reducing the fertility. However, women facing incidence of miscarriage or death of a child tends to increase the fertility. Study also reveals that wealth of household, having sons and husband's education have very limited role on the fertility behavior. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

40. Household’s demand for Food Commodities in Pakistan: Issues and Empirical Evidence

Abstract

The household’s demand analysis is very crucial in the sense that undernourishment negatively affects productivity. Food demand is crucial to gauge the household’s ability or willingness to purchase/consume different food commodities. The study attempts to analyze the household’s food demand in Pakistan by estimating the Quadratic Almost Ideal Demand System (QUAIDS) on Household Integrated Income and Consumption Survey (HIICS) 2015-16 data. It has been found that the household’s locality, dependency ratio, living in own house, age and level of education of household head have significant impacts on demand for different food commodities. It has been further found that hoteling, fruits & dry fruits, soft drinks & bottled water, bakery products, beef & mutton, chicken &seafood are luxury goods. Eggs, sugar & sweets, pulses, tea & coffee, vegetables, rice, and edible oil & ghee are necessity goods. The spices, milk & yogurt and wheat are close to sticky food items. The price elasticities suggest that the demand for beef & mutton, seafood, eggs, and soft drinks is relatively elastic in comparison to other food commodity groups. Moreover, the demand for tea & coffee is least elastic revealing that price of tea has a very marginal impact on its demand.

Este trabajo aplica el Sistema cuadrático casi ideal de demanda (QUAIDS) a la encuesta integrada de hogares de Pakistan para el periodo 2015-2016. Se encuentra que los princi- pales determinantes de la demanda son la localización, razón de dependencia, propiedad de vivienda, edad y educación, estimando las elasticidades precio e ingreso para los distintos bienes.

46. ESTIMATING ‘GROWTH ELASTICITY OF POVERTY’ FOR ASIAN ECONOMIES.

Abstract

Over the years, poverty reduction has been recognised as the main objective of development policy. To reduce poverty, economic growth is very crucial. The responsiveness of growth towards poverty reduction is measured by the ‘growth elasticity of poverty’. The present study attempts to calculate growth elasticities of poverty in nine selected Asian countries for the period 1986-2015 by using three different methodologies. The study finds that calculated elasticities have considerable variations by using different methodologies. It is suggested that the calculation of elasticity using the formula is most appropriate because it directly calculates the elasticity by using the data of poverty rate and per capita GDP. The study also finds that China has the highest growth elasticity of poverty considering the poverty line of USD 1.90 and USD 3.20 a day. It was also found that the responsiveness of growth to poverty reduction has increased during the period of 2001-2015 in comparison to the period of 1986-2000. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
