Introduction. In conditions of financial instability of an insurance company, which arises against the backdrop of problems of solvency, the management of the organization must introduce new methods of managing it. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that every year insurance companies succumb to increasing risks of insolvency (due to political and economic restrictions), so enterprises are creating new ways to eliminate it: timely forecast of solvency and prompt analysis of the forecast results in order to increase financial stability and efficiency.Goal. Clarifying the methodology for assessing the level of risks of insurance systems, identifying the advantages of predicting the solvency of an insurance company for a long-term period (from 3 years), which can lead to a more in-depth analysis of the financial stability of the organization and providing competitive advantages.Materials and methods. In the process of research, methods of comparisons, analogies, factor analysis, calculation-constructive methods, groupings, economic and statistical methods, generalizations and other methods of scientific research were used.Results and discussion. In the course of the work, solvency and solvency margin were predicted in order to determine financial stability using the example of the research object, Public Joint Stock Company Insurance Company "Rosgosstrakh". The forecast is carried out using the analytical leveling method with the construction of a linear trend model based on indicators that determine the components of solvency, adjusted for inflation. The final results are summed up as a result of variance analysis of PJSC IC "Rosgosstrakh".Conclusion. Based on the results of the study, we can conclude that the company’s solvency for 2024-2026 will be at a neutral level, which does not clearly indicate negative or positive consequences, as a result of which the company’s management must develop methods to increase solvency by at least a few percent, to avoid negative financial sustainability outcomes.

Introduction. The development of digital technologies opens up new opportunities for increasing the efficiency, transparency and accessibility of financial services, and also promotes the deepening of economic cooperation between countries.The issue is particularly relevant for the BRICS countries, which demonstrate high rates of economic growth and are interested in developing mutually beneficial partnerships.Goal. The study of theoretical aspects of digitalization of financial systems and crossborder integration in the context of prospects for creating a currency instrument for the BRICS countries.Materials and methods. The study used the method of analyzing scientific articles, monographs and dissertations on the research topic, collecting and systematizing statistical data, comparing foreign experience in creating supranational currency instruments, the method of modeling and expert assessments. The information base of the study includes scientific articles and publications in scientific journals, dissertations, monographs on the topic of the study, Internet resources, and analytical reviews.Results and discussion. The experience of creating supranational currency instruments, their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed. The analysis showed that the BRICS countries demonstrate significant potential in developing financial cooperation, creating platforms and instruments for mutual settlements, but they face a number of structural problems and challenges. Comparison with the best foreign practices reveals significant potential to improve payment instruments, in particular, to create a blockchain foreign trade settlement system. Such efforts lay the foundation for an alternative financial paradigm, strengthening the position of BRICS in the global economic environment.Conclusion. The analysis of the current state of the financial systems of the BRICS countries, their level of digitalization and interaction in the financial sector allowed the authors to conclude that there is potential for the formation of an alternative financial system and strengthening the role of BRICS in the global economy.

Introduction. In a market economy, the dynamics of the securities market development is the most important tool for stimulating economic growth through the mechanism of attracting investment resources and their redistribution between sectors of the economy. In the context of geopolitical tensions, the Russian stock market has experienced enormous pressure, which has led to a deterioration in the prospects for its further development.Goal. Analysis of the state of the Russian securities market under the conditions of sanctions pressure and identification of the main problems hindering its stable development.Materials and methods. The study is based on the analysis of the economic situation with a focus on the segment of the Russian stock market, determining its competitiveness and growth drivers in conditions of economic uncertainty. The complex consideration of many factors in a dynamically changing environment has necessitated the integrated use of general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization), comparative analysis, abstract thinking, the method of expert assessments and the graphical method.Results and discussion. In the course of the work, the dynamics of the Moscow Exchange index and the market capitalization of the Russian market were analyzed, statistical data on the number of private investors on the exchange, the volume of their investments in the period 2020–2021 were given. Special attention is paid to the largest companies-issuers of the oil and gas sector. The study of the questions raised made it possible to determine that the Russian stock market shows one of the highest dividend yields compared to developing and developed countries.Conclusion. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Russian economy has adapted to the new economic realities and is ready for new challenges. From a fundamental point of view, Russian issuers show high operating results. This means that as the economy recovers, we should expect an increase in liquidity on the stock market and a significant increase in the quotations of many companies in the medium term.

Unlike stroke, neurosurgical removal of left-hemisphere gliomas acts upon a reorganized language network and involves brain areas rarely damaged by stroke. We addressed whether this causes the profiles of neurosurgery- and stroke-induced language impairments to be distinct. K-means clustering of language assessment data (neurosurgery cohort: N = 88, stroke cohort: N = 95) identified similar profiles in both cohorts. But critically, a cluster of individuals with specific phonological deficits was only evident in the stroke but not in the neurosurgery cohort. Thus, phonological deficits are less clearly distinguished from other language deficits after glioma surgery compared to stroke. Furthermore, the correlations between language production and comprehension scores at different linguistic levels were more extensive in the neurosurgery than in the stroke cohort. Our findings suggest that neurosurgery-induced language impairments do not correspond to those caused by stroke, but rather manifest as a moderate global aphasia - a generalized decline of language processing abilities.

Мета роботи: полягає у висвітленні тих складових національної сфери економіки, котрі беруть безпосередню участь у забезпеченні потреб сектору безпеки та оборони держави та, на основі отриманих результатів, не тільки надати можливий алгоритм оцінювання поточного рівня оборонної достатності, а й привести до відома читачів основні дефініції його обрахування. Метод дослідження: основними методами дослідження є емпіричний метод (спостереження) та елементарний теоретичний аналіз і синтез. Результати дослідження: в даній роботі за допомогою буквених виразів наведено можливий підхід до оцінювання рівня оборонної достатності держави з урахуванням частин сфер національної економіки, що приймають безпосередню участь у визначенні можливостей задоволення потреб сектору безпеки та оборони країни, а, також, для систематизації даних щодо оцінювання рівня поточної оборонної достатності держав та його складових, за поглядами авторів, наведений відповідний алгоритм. Теоретична цінність дослідження: полягає у спробі авторів звернути увагу широкого кола читачів на важливість визначення поточного рівня оборонної достатності як важливого індикатору стану національної безпеки держави, а також запропонувати можливий алгоритм його розрахунку на основі оцінок його основних складових. Тип статті: описовий та розрахунково-аналітичний.

The lack of standardized language assessment tools in Russian impedes clinical work, evidence-based practice, and research in Russian-speaking clinical populations. To address this gap in assessment of neurogenic language disorders, we developed and standardized a new comprehensive assessment instrument-the Russian Aphasia Test (RAT). The principal novelty of the RAT is that each subtest corresponds to a specific level of linguistic processing (phonological, lexical-semantic, syntactic, and discourse) in different domains: auditory comprehension, repetition, and oral production. In designing the test, we took into consideration various (psycho)linguistic factors known to influence language performance, as well as specific properties of Russian. The current paper describes the development of the RAT and reports its psychometric properties. A tablet-based version of the RAT was administered to 85 patients with different types and severity of aphasia and to 106 age-matched neurologically healthy controls. We established cutoff values for each subtest indicating deficit in a given task and cutoff values for aphasia based on the Receiver Operating Characteristic curve analysis of the composite score. The RAT showed very high sensitivity (> .93) and specificity (> .96), substantiating its validity for determining presence of aphasia. The tests high construct validity was evidenced by strong correlations between subtests measuring similar linguistic processes. The concurrent validity of the test was also strong as demonstrated by a high correlation with an existing aphasia battery. Overall high internal, inter-rater, and test-retest reliability were obtained. The RAT is the first comprehensive aphasia language battery in Russian with properly established psychometric properties. It is sensitive to a wide range of language deficits in aphasia and can reliably characterize individual profiles of language impairments. Notably, the RAT is the first comprehensive aphasia test in any language to be fully automatized for administration on a tablet, maximizing further standardization of presentation and scoring procedures.

Today, before our eyes, the former world order, characterized by the dominance of the Anglo-Saxon group led by the United States, is collapsing. A new world order is being born, the distinguishing feature of which is the emergence of new centers of economic and political influence, the growth of the sovereignty of many states. These processes have noticeably accelerated in connection with the coronovirus epidemic and the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. Deep socio-economic and political processes are taking place that affect the state of the civilizational matrix: social orientation in society, cyclicality and historicism of economic development, demography, etc. The consequences of these processes are expected to be even more complex: the emergence of new poles of political and economic influence, alliances and partnerships, logistical financial and transport schemes. The article attempts to systematize and rethink the above processes.

CT protocols that diagnose COVID-19 vary in regard to the associated radiation exposure and the desired image quality (IQ). This study aims to evaluate CT protocols of hospitals participating in the RACOON (Radiological Cooperative Network) project, consolidating CT protocols to provide recommendations and strategies for future pandemics. In this retrospective study, CT acquisitions of COVID-19 patients scanned between March 2020 and October 2020 (RACOON phase 1) were included, and all non-contrast protocols were evaluated. For this purpose, CT protocol parameters, IQ ratings, radiation exposure (CTDIvol), and central patient diameters were sampled. Eventually, the data from 14 sites and 534 CT acquisitions were analyzed. IQ was rated good for 81% of the evaluated examinations. Motion, beam-hardening artefacts, or image noise were reasons for a suboptimal IQ. The tube potential ranged between 80 and 140 kVp, with the majority between 100 and 120 kVp. CTDIvol was 3.7 ± 3.4 mGy. Most healthcare facilities included did not have a specific non-contrast CT protocol. Furthermore, CT protocols for chest imaging varied in their settings and radiation exposure. In future, it will be necessary to make recommendations regarding the required IQ and protocol parameters for the majority of CT scanners to enable comparable IQ as well as radiation exposure for different sites but identical diagnostic questions.

Despite a persistent interest in verb processing, data on the neural underpinnings of verb retrieval are fragmentary. The present study is the first to analyze the contributions of both grey and white matter damage affecting verb retrieval through action naming in stroke. We used voxel-based lesion-symptom mapping (VLSM) with an action naming task in 40 left-hemisphere stroke patients. Within the grey matter, we revealed the critical involvement of the left precentral and inferior frontal gyri, insula, and parts of basal ganglia. An overlay of white matter tract probability masks on the VLSM lesion map revealed involvement of left-hemisphere long and short association tracts with terminations in the frontal areas; and several projection tracts. The involvement of these structures is interpreted in the light of existing picture naming models, semantic control processes, and the embodiment cognition framework. Our results stress the importance of both cortico-cortical and cortico-subcortical networks of language processing.

The digital transformation of the world economy has become the reason for the accelerated development of innovative technologies that ensure the uninterrupted operation of business processes of large technology companies whose activities are focused on the creation of these same technologies, and commercial banks that act as the main consumers of innovations in the field of IT. This process is most actively observed in the sphere of economics and finance. Under its influence, truly tectonic shifts take place, leading to the formation of fundamentally new institutions. Today, one of these are economic and financial ecosystems. Over the past few years, Russian companies from these industries have embarked on the path of creating digital ecosystems to enable horizontal, vertical and conglomerate expansion of their activities in order to maximize financial results. The technologies used by companies allow creating unified and interconnected economic systems within the organization and its partners, which leads to the emergence of a unique economic and financial ecosystem.

The article aims at determining the key features of the nature usage of hydro resources in the reproduction and health purposes in the Republic of Crimea. It has caused the need to investigate the current situation in the field of nature management of hydro resources for reproduction and recreation purposes in the Republic of Crimea. The authors present a functional analysis of the legislatively established structure of the state regulation within water usage sphere in the Crimea. The material analyzes the financing of water use in the territory of the Crimea with an emphasis on reproductive and recreational features of the Crimean hydro resources. The study has identiied the main problems of nature management sustainability in the ield of reproductive and recreational water resources, which has allowed to formulate the main directions for solution ofproblems found.

We consider global trends and domestic financial - economic development under the influence of revolutionary processes in geopolitics, science and technology. Central to the ongoing transformations are highlighted: the crisis of the liberal model and the development of alternative approaches; the formation of the digital economy and the emergence cryptocurrency; development of new industrialization, based on the formation of the sixth technological order; changes in production and energy consumption. The role of Russia in opposition to the unipolar world. Reasoned postulate that the most dynamic vector of new industrialization are the information and communication technology (IT), the emerging digital economy.

The article presents an analysis of the domestic stock market: its dynamics, structure, deformation. In particular, it is noted that the dynamics is observed mainly in secondary positions. It is mainly characterized by stagnation and even a fall in the equity market sector. There are serious imbalances that reflect monopoly processes (in service, in industry and regional cuts). The authors proposed a structural-logical model of the role and place of the stock market and exchange trading in models and mechanisms of financial and economic development, which allows to take into account all the features and interrelations in the development of strategies, development programs of industries, regions, corporations, and in the preparation of educational materials financial literacy).

Modern science and practice have proven the high economic efficiency of integration projects due to their synergistic effect and the implementation of intersubject connections at a qualitatively new level. However, the lack of clearly spelled out regulations on social responsibility, created by the holdings, often creates social tension in society in the territories of their activities. The article presents the theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the integration modeling of territorial management: a classification of models is developed, their historical experience is considered, the main problems are identified and the directions of implementation are substantiated in relation to the North Caucasian Federal District.

Central banks around the world have become the first line of defense, taking steps to maintain the stability of the global financial system and support the global economy. Interconnected processes are the formation and development of basic institutions and the state. One of the fundamental institutions is the banking system, without the appropriate activity of which it is impossible to develop the economy in modern conditions. The impact of the pandemic on the banking industry is described. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a noticeable impact on the overall economy. Statistical data are presented. The inevitability of a collision of the banking sector with financial losses is indicated. Conclusions are made.

Our society is a constantly developing system that is undergoing metamorphosis every scientific and technological revolution. The fourth scientific and technological revolution led to the emergence of completely new technologies that minimize human participation in the production process through its automation and computerization. In recent years, the Russian Federation has experienced many difficulties both on the world stage and within the country, which did not allow it to start the process of digitalization. This factor characterizes Russia's lagging behind other countries in creating a digital economy. The study presents the main problems faced by the Russian economy and society on the path of digital transformation.

Triticale (× Triticosecale Wittmack) is a hybridized grain crop developed from wheat and rye crossings. Today, triticale is a multipurpose commercial grain crop with great potential as a human food and animal feed. The sown area of the new grain crop in the world reached 4 million hectares in 2018, grain production was about 14 million tons. The current climate change, the rapid evolution of pathogens, as well as the requirements of the modern market dictate the necessity for accelerated development of varieties while reducing the cost of their development. The production of double haploids makes it possible to reduce the time required for the development of homozygous lines by an average of 5–7 years. For the mass production of haploid triticale plants in vitro, there are used two methods, namely anther/microspore culture and distant hybridization followed by selective chromosome elimination of the pollinator. The most critical factors for the success of developing haploids in anther culture are a genotype, growing conditions of donor plants, a microspore development stage, stress effects on heads or anthers, and a nutrient media. Among the unresolved problems of the method are a genotypic dependence, a high incidence of albinism and a presence of aneuploids in the androgenic plant progeny. The rye genome is more often involved in chromosomal transformations than the wheat genome. Most aneuploids are nullisomics, most often on the 2R and 5R chromosomes. Nullisomic plants for 2R and 5R chromosomes have fewer number of spikelets per head and fewer number of kernels per head. In order to develop haploids by the method of selective chromosome elimination during distant hybridization, there have been successfully used such grain crops whose pollen is insensitive to Kr-genes, as maize (Zea mays L.) and wild cereal grass ‘Imperata Cylindrical’ (Imperata cylindrical L.). The advantages of the method are less genotypic dependence, absence of albino plants, genetic stability of regenerants, and reduced costs for developing haploid plants. The length of flowering period of ‘Imperata Cylindrical’ and the absence of the need to combine the timing of flowering period of the parents ensure the economy and efficiency of using this species when developing haploid triticale plants. The purpose of the current review was to characterize the methods of mass development of haploid triticale plants, to describe their advantages and disadvantages when being used in the breeding process.

Currently, a distributed bilateral network of frontal-parietal areas is regarded as the neural substrate of working memory (WM), with the verbal WM network being more left-lateralized. This conclusion is based primarily on functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data that provides correlational evidence for brain regions involved in a task. However, fMRI cannot differentiate the areas that are fundamentally required for performing a task. These data can only come from brain-injured individuals who fail the task after the loss of specific brain areas. In addition to the lack of complimentary data, is the issue of the variety in the WM tasks used to assess verbal WM. When different tasks are assumed to measure the same behavior, this may mask the contributions of different brain regions. Here, we investigated the neural substrate of WM by using voxel-based lesion symptom mapping (VLSM) in 49 individuals with stroke-induced left hemisphere brain injuries. These participants completed two different verbal WM tasks: complex listening span and a word 2-back task. Behavioral results indicated that the two tasks were only slightly related, while the VLSM analysis revealed different critical regions associated with each task. Specifically, significant detriments in performance on the complex span task were found with lesions in the inferior frontal gyrus, while for the 2-back task, significant deficits were seen after injury to the superior and middle temporal gyri. Thus, the two tasks depend on the structural integrity of different, non-overlapping frontal and temporal brain regions, suggesting distinct neural and cognitive mechanisms triggered by the two tasks: rehearsal and cue-dependent selection in the complex span task, versus updating/auditory recognition in the 2-back task. These findings call into question the common practice of using these two tasks interchangeably in verbal WM research and undermine the legitimacy of aggregating data from studies with different WM tasks. Thus, the present study points out the importance of lesion studies in complementing functional neuroimaging findings and highlights the need to consider task demands in neuroimaging and neuropsychological investigations of WM.

Introduction. This article analyzes the specifics of the perception of Italian brands in Russia. The starting point in the paper is the understanding that the evolution of Italian culture and the image of Italy itself has led to the perception of this phenomenon through the prism of both its numerous attributes and Italian brands in particular. Today Italy is associated with national cuisine, culture and historical heritage.From a sociological perspective, brands are an important resource for the representation of national culture, especially for foreign consumers. To date, however, there has been little research into how this culture is transmitted through brands to society. In particular, little attention has so far been paid to studying the perception of brands and their relationship to the national culture of the country they represent.The socio-cultural perspective of the study implies an examination of the dynamics of attitudes towards Italian brands, reflecting the variability of society itself.Methodology and sources. The methodological basis is an interdisciplinary approach to the problem of studying and analyzing brands. The main research method in the work is the Internet survey. Thus, based on the theoretical concepts on the study of brands in sociology, in April 2020 on the platform ”Google Form” the authors conducted an empirical study. The purpose of this research was to conduct an online survey to identify the attitudes of Russian respondents towards Italian brands. The results of the sociological research conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey are presented. The sample type was random with the number of 150 respondents.Results and discussion. According to the survey results, the main associations associated with the image of Italy are: Italian food, holidays, fashion and historical heritage. At the same time, about one fifth of respondents are not familiar with any of the Italian brands or cannot name them. Among those familiar with Italian brands, 80 % responded that they know Gucci, Fendi, Valentino, Versace, Moschino, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ferrari.One of the key findings of the study was the conclusion that brand perception today is not directly related to its country of origin. The brand does not always represent the country, becoming multicultural. The socio-cultural model of consumption is changing, and the understanding of the Italian brand is divorced from the cultural foundation from which it originated.Conclusion. In general, the authors of the article come to the conclusion that the perception of Italian brands in Russia is conditioned by the specifics of sociocultural development. In the early nineties, when the country had just opened up to Western brands, it was vital for the consumer to purchase products from well-known brands, in particular the «Made in Italy» category, firmly associated with the country of origin. Today, in the context of globalization and multiculturalism, many brands have lost their national identity, and for the consumer the consumer properties of the product come first, and not the brand itself.

This article describes an approach for solving the task of finding hyperparameters of an artificial neural network, which is used for making a 2D land map. The main goal of research was an analysis of methods for finding hyperparameters and creating a better method for solving this task, which would be based on existing methods. We considered on various hyperparameters such as velocity of training, coefficient of regularization, size of batch, probability of drop out, shifting, used for batch normalization. Among existing methods for finding hyperparameters we considered on the random search method, searching by grid, the Bayesian optimization, the evolution algorithm, the optimization, based on gradients, and the spectral method. As a result, we created a new method for finding hyperparameters which showed a better result in most of the use cases, which we have (mostly for middle European part of Russia). The main idea of the method for finding hyperparameters is consisted in an approach for optimization of the quality function with a simple condition for lower and upper limits and a demand that the value of the function needed to be an integer number. This task may be solved with a simple genetic algorithm. Using the optimization algorithm without evaluating derivatives gives decreasing time complexity of the algorithm without losing quality of the algorithm. In many cases the quality of result was better than results of existing methods.

The current paper presents the estimation efficiency results of in vitro fabric culture methods used to develop the initial material for triticale breeding in the Povolzhie. A culture of immature embryos (embryo rescue) was used to obtain wheatrye amphigaploids when cross breeding durum wheat with rye. The hybrid kernels formation varied from 10.4 to 47.7%. When polluting 2223 flowers of durum wheat there were formed 768 kernels, 604 of which had embryos with different degrees of differentiation. The largest frequency of hybrid kernels formation was found in the hybrids where the mother forms were the durum wheat varieties “Amazonka” (47.7%), “Diona” (37.5%), and “Aksinit” (37.6%). Fertile amphidiploids (primary hexaploid triticale) were obtained after doubling the number of chromosomes. In vitro immature embryo cultivation was also used to obtain triticale hybrids with soft wheat in those cases when it served as the maternal parent in cross breeding. The efficiency of haploid production in the triticale anthers depended on the genotype. The frequency of embryogenic anthers formation varied from 6.7 to 17.4%, plant regeneration from the new forms was 11.4–31.4%. The 68 obtained of the 338 plants were green and 270 were albinos. In vitro microclonal propagation using segments of young heads as explants allowed preserving and propagating sterile plants for further work to restore their fertility.

Four-electrode electrochemical cells are widely used for signal conversion in molecular-electronic transfer (MET) motion sensors. The most used ACCA (anode–cathode–cathode–anode) configuration has proven its performance and usefulness for obtaining a superior conversion factor and a wider frequency range over standard geophones at room temperature. However, the MET sensor conversion factor decreases a thousand-fold or more when the temperature drops from room temperature to 233 K. In the design suggested is this paper, a pair of additional gate (G) electrodes has been added outside the standard ACCA cell. An experimental study of the temperature behavior of the resulting G-ACCA-G six-electrode configuration showed that the effects of temperature changes on the cell conversion factor are 5.2 times weaker compared with the standard ACCA configuration.

Elimination of chromosomes is a phenomenon widespread in distant hybrids. It ranges from the loss of one or two chromosomes to elimination of whole chromosome complement of one of the parents. Such elimination leads to the production of haploid plants, which then are treated with colchicine to double the chromosome number and to develop DH‑lines. Homozygosity of doubled haploids serves as a basis for their wide use in plant genetics and breeding. The use of this approach reduces the time required for obtaining homozygous lines by 5 years on the average. It leads to savings in human resources, energy and acreage. The development of the “bulbosum” method for haploid barley production had a strong influence on the chromosome engineering in cereals and its implementation in plant breeding. However, the method developed on that basis could not be used effectively for producing haploids of wheat, triticale, etc. because of Hordeum bulbosum L. pollen sensitivity to genes inhibiting wheat crossability (Kr genes). The crosses with Imperata cylindrica (L.) Raeusch. is an efficient alternative to the widely used wheat × maize and triticale × maize crosses due to abundant pollen supply within a longer time period, significantly higher frequency of embryos formation and haploid plants regeneration.
