Çin'in Wuhan kentinde 2019 yılının son haftalarında ortaya çıkan ve kısa bir süre içinde küresel bir salgın halini alan corona virüsü (COVID-19) salgını, 2020 yılı sonu itibarıyla 1 milyon 800 bin ölüm, toplam 81 milyona yaklaşan onaylanmış vaka sayısı ve 05 Aralık 2020 günü 886 bin ile en yüksek günlük yeni vaka sayısına ulaşmış durumdadır. Pandemi ile birlikte bir yandan insanların, temizlik, beslenme, barınma, eğitim, alışveriş gibi temel yaşam biçimlerinde radikal değişimler yaşanırken, diğer taraftan işten işsizlik, ekonomik durgunluk ve sağlık sistemlerinin sürdürülebilirliği öncelikli günden haline gelmeye başlamıştır. Bu hızlı değişimin uluslararası krize dönüşmemesi için ulusal ve uluslararası kuruluşların karşılıklı işbirliği büyük önem arz etmektedir. DSÖ Genel Sekreterinin pandemi ilanını yaptığı 11 Mart tarihli konuşmasında, pandemiyi sadece bir halk sağlığı krizi değil, her sektöre dokunacak bir kriz olarak nitelendirmiştir. DSÖ’nün pandemi sürecinde ulusal sağlık politikalarının oluşturulmasına yönelik tavsiye kararları dikkat çekmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı DSÖ tarafından pandemi sürecinde hangi iletişim stratejilerinin izlenildiğini ve bu iletişim biçimlerinin ulusal sağlık politikaları üzerinde ne gibi etkileri olduğunu incelemektir. Bu kapsamda çalışmada Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO) birincil veri kaynaklarına dayalı analizler, literatür taraması ve kuramsal inceleme yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Yapılan incelemeler çerçevesinde, pandeminin özellikle ulusal sağlık politikalarının sürdürülebilirliği üzerinde ciddi baskılar oluşturacağı görülmektedir. DSÖ’nün izlediği iletişim stratejileri, bilgi difüzyonu teorisi ve risk iletişimi kavramları çerçevesinde yorumlanmıştır. DSÖ’nün küresel ölçekte salgının yönetilmesinde katalizör rol oynadığı, edinilen bilimsel bilgilerin uluslararası paylaşımını kolaylaştırırken, elde edilen bulguları rapor haline getirmesi ve iyi uygulamalar ile ulus devlet sağlık sistemlerinin güçlendirilmesinde etkili olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.

Background: The football industry has been rapidly evolving. The value of transfer market has increased astronomically, thus sealing a transfer deal has become pricy. In the meantime, the gap between rich and low budget clubs keeps increasing. UEFA released new regulations called “Financial Fair Play” (FFP), which aims to curb financial differences amongst football clubs. Hence, football clubs adopted new entrepreneurial approaches such as scouting and youth academies to improve their financial situation. Purpose: The main objective of this paper is to understand football teams’ entrepreneurial reaction towards FFP. The purpose is to examine the strategies of value creation from human capital like talented young players, in terms of scouting and youth academy, and explain the relationship between football and entrepreneurship in context of the business model framework. Method: The research is conducted by secondary data collection through online resources. We used the secondary data analysis method to analyze our data and carried out a representative case study based on the theoretical framework of this master thesis on two football clubs, AFC Ajax and Borussia Dortmund, to understand the problem more comprehensively. Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrate that the FFP regulations affected the entrepreneurial structure of football clubs. The data suggest that both clubs intensified their scouting and youth academy activities, as a result they generated more transfer revenue through selling the players that they recruited at their youth academies or scouted. Hence, this new entrepreneurial approach that the football clubs adopted provided a significant benefit for them. We call this concept that football meets entrepreneurship as “Footballpreneurship”.

1876 yılında Tokat'ta doğan ve 1934 yılında 58 yıl süren ömrünü tamamlayan Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun dağıldığı ve yeni bir devletin kurulduğu, Türk milleti için çok karışık ve büyük bir imtihan içeren bu dönemde tüm bu hadisatın içerisinde bir asker ve siyasetçi olarak yer almıştır. Balkan Savaşlarıyla başlayan ve Birinci Dünya Savaşı ile devam edip Milli Mücadelenin kazanılması ve yeni devletin kurulması ile son bulan yaklaşık 15 yıllık dönem üzerine Türk akademi dünyasında yüzlerce eser yazılmıştır. Bu eserler içerisinde, dönemin önemli isimlerinin hayatını anlatan eser ve çalışmalar önemli bir yekûnu oluşturur. Ancak söz konusu `fırtınalı` yıllarda sürecin kahramanları diyeceğimiz isimlerin dışında vatan ve millet sevgisine dayanan fedakârlıklarıyla millet ve devlet hayatının devamına katkı sunan şahısları anlatan çalışma ve eserlerin sınırlı sayıda olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Balkan Savaşlarına, Çanakkale Müdafaası'na, Birinci Dünya Savaşı'na ve son olarak Milli Mücadele'ye katılan ve bu savaş ve fedakârlık dolu yılları kendi sözleriyle `…Bendeniz 28 sene memleketime gitmeyerek bu millete hizmet ettim. Memleketime hiç uğramamak şartiyle Harbi Umuminin nihayetine kadar Paşa Hazretleri ile beraber bulundum. Paşa Hazretlerinin maiyetinde olarak üç yüz otuz beş senesi ihtidalarında Anadolu'ya geldim. O tarihten beri mücadele-i milliyenin nâçiz bir ferdi olarak birinci devre-i intiha biyede mebus olduğum gibi elyevmde mebus bulunuyorum.` şeklinde anlatan, 31 Mart Vakası nedeniyle İstanbul'a gelen Harekat Ordusu'nda tanıştığı Mustafa Kemal Paşa'nın Birinci Dünya Savaşı'nda 7. Kolordu Komutanlığı'na atanmasından sonraki bütün komutanlık dönemlerinde Paşa'nın karargah komutanı olarak yer alan ve Milli Mücadele'nin başlangıç kıvılcımı diyebileceğimiz Bandırma Vapuru'nda başlayan yolculukta Mustafa Kemal Paşa'yı yalnız bırakmayıp Meclis yıllarında da ona olan yakınlığını siyasi yönden devam ettiren Mustafa Vasfi Bey, yukarıda bahsi geçen `bilinmeyen kahramanlar` dan yalnızca biridir. Öyle ki Vasfi Bey, tüm milletin kaderini belirleyen bu yıllarda hemen bütün savaşlarda asker olarak bulunmuş, Milli Mücadele'yi kazanan ve yeni devleti kuran `muzaffer` Meclis'te de uzun yıllar milletvekilliği yapmıştır. Çalışmamızın temel amacı, Milli Mücadele'nin herkes tarafından bilinmeyen şahıslarından vatansever bir asker ve siyasetçiyi, Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy'u anlatmak ve daha önce yapılan sınırlı sayıdaki çalışmalara naçizane bir yenisini eklemektir. Bu doğrultuda yapılan kaynak taramasında maalesef yeterince kaynağa ulaşılamamıştır. Şöyle ki Mustafa Vasfi Bey'in yazmış olduğu bir hatıratı veya kendisinin hayatına ilişkin yazılmış bir eser ya da yapılmış bir çalışma yoktur. Vasfi Bey'in asker olması nedeniyle askerlik hayatına ilişkin kayıtlar için Genelkurmay Başkanlığı'na yapılan başvuru, kayıt bulunamaması nedeniyle sonuçsuz kalmış, aynı şekilde milletvekilleri için tutulan sicil dosyasına (404 numaralı sicil dosyası) ulaşmak için Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'ne yapılan başvuru da sicillerin artık gizlilik kapsamına alındığı gerekçesiyle reddedilmiş ancak daha önce yazılan bir başka eserde kullanıldığı ölçüde bu sicil evrakından yararlanılmıştır.Çalışmamızın birinci bölümünde Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy'un aile ve askerlik hayatından, milletvekili seçilme sürecinden ve Mustafa Kemal Atatürk ile olan yakınlığından bahsedilmiştir. Mustafa Vasfi Beyin hayatı, olayların tam içerisinde olması nedeniyle, Birinci Dünya Savaşı'yla başlayıp Cumhuriyet'in ilanıyla biten süreçle kronolojik olarak aynılık gösterir. İkinci bölümde TBMM'nin açılması ve Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy'un milletvekilliği sürecindeki faaliyetlerine ayrılmıştır. Ayrıca Tokat'ta ilk seçimlerim yapılışına değinilmiştir. Bu bölümde Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy'a ilişkin öznel yorumlar yapmamızda bize en önemli bilgileri sunan Meclis tutanakları kullanılmakta ve genel hatlar itibariyle bir Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy profili çizilmeye çalışılmıştır. Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy, who was born in 1876 in the province of Tokat and died at the age of 58 in 1934, witnessed, as a soldier and politician, the disintegration of the Otoman Empire and the foundation of a new state, which was very complicated and a very difficult test for the Turkish nation. Turkish academic literature involves hundreds of works written about the period of about 15 years which starts with the Balkan Wars, continues with the World War I, and ends with winning the Turkish War of Independence and the foundation of a new state. Among these works, the ones about the lives of the important figures of the period constitutes a significant part. However, it can be said that the number of the studies and works about the figures who contributed to the survival of the nation and the state with their sacrifices resulting from their love to their nation, whom can be considered as the heroes of this turbulent period, are rather limited.Mustafa Vasfi Bey, who served in Balkan Wars, in the Battle of Çanakkale, in the World War I, and then in the Turkish War of Independence, and depicting these years full of wars and sacrifices as follows: `… I served to my nation without not going to my home for 28 years. I accompanied Mustafa Kemal until the end of the World War not visiting my home even once. At the end of 1335 (in Islamic calendar), I returned to Anatolia in company with Mustafa Kemal. And since then, I have been serving as a deputy in the parliament just as I served in the first parliament as a humble member of our national struggle`, and who then served as the headquarters commander of Mustafa Kemal, whom he met in the `Army of Action` (`Hareket Ordusu` in Turkish) coming to Istanbul during the 31 March Incident, during all Mustafa Kemal's commanding career beginning from his appointment of as the Commander of the 7th Army, and accompanied him during his voyage in the steamer Bandırma, which is considered as the first spark of the Turkish War of Independence and continued his closeness to Mustafa Kemal politically as well in his years as a deputy in the Turkish Parliament, is one of these `unknown heroes` mentioned above. Such that Mustafa Vasfi Bey served as a soldier in all wars during those years determining the fate of the nation, and also served for many years as a deputy in the `victorious` parliament which founded the new state.The main objective of the present study is to introduce Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy, who is a patriotic soldier and politician and one of the heroes of the Turkish Independence War not much known by many people, and to add another one to the existing studies in the literature, which are rather limited in number. The literature review carried out for this purpose showed an inadequacy of sources on the subject. Such that, there is no memoirs written by Mustafa Vasfi Bey or any work written or study conducted about his life. The application made to the Turkish General Staff concerning his records as a soldier did not yield any results, either, since no record of him could be found. Similarly, our application to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to examine his registry file (the registry file numbered 404) also proved to be futile, since the application was rejected on the grounds that such registries had been taken into the scope of confidentiality. However, his registry was able to be used to the extent that it had been used in a previous work. The first section of our study addresses the family and military life of Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy, as well as the process through which he was elected a deputy and his closeness with Mustafa Kemal. Since he was completely involved in the process, Mustafa Vasfi Bey's life demonstrate a complete chronological parallelism with the process beginning with the World War I and ending with the proclamation of the republic. Thus, the subject addressed in the The second of the present study is allocated to Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy's activities during his term of a deputy in the parliament and comprises the initiation stage of the Turkish Independence War and the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, as well as the elections held in the province of Tokat. In this section, we make subjective comments on Mustafa Vasfi Süsoy based on the parliamentary minutes, which have provided us with important information, and a profile of him is tried to be drawn in general terms. 136

WOS: 000405822000016, PubMed ID: 26513716, Purpose: To evaluate the radiopacity of five post materials using a digital image analysis method. Materials and Methods: Twelve specimens from each post type (two zirconia and three fiber based) of 2 mm in thickness were obtained using a diamond blade mounted on a cutting machine, and digital radiographs were taken along with aluminum step-wedge and dentin discs under standard exposure conditions. The mean gray-values of specimens were measured using a computer graphics program. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA followed by Holm-Sidak multicomparison test (p = 0.05). Results: The highest radiopacity was observed in custom zirconia (5.842 millimeters of equivalent Al [mmAl]), and the lowest value was detected with FRC-Postec (Ivoclar Vivadent) (1.716 mmAl). Significant differences were revealed between the radiopacity values among all groups (p < 0.05), except the Zr post materials (p = 0.56). Conclusions: All tested post materials had higher radiopacity than dentin. Further studies will be required to clarify optimum radiopacity properties of the post materials to provide a precise clinical observation.
