Peatlands are very vulnerable to land use change. Some of the current peatland cover conditions include agricultural cultivation lands, plantations, shrubs and secondary forest. The presence of soil macrofauna as a soil ecosystem engineer can be a bio-indicator of peatland fertility. This study aims to analyze the diversity of soil macrofauna in several patterns of peat land use in cultivated areas. The research was conducted in December 2017 in Rasau Jaya District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The research method used is monolithic technique with descriptive data analysis using the alpha and beta diversity index approach. The results showed that the diversity and diversity of macrofauna species on peatlands were classified as medium and low, with the highest diversity found in secondary forest patterns (H '= 2.09) and the lowest in oil palm plantations (H' = 0.73), while species richness was found. The highest was found in secondary forest (R '= 4.01) and the lowest was in oil palm plantations (R' = 1.42). The highest population density and abundance were the order Isoptera and Opisthopora, while the lowest is Dermaptera. Several groups of macrofauna which are used as bioindicators of land fertility are found in all land use patterns with the dominan order is Isoptera and Opisthopora. Soil temperature and acidity conditions affect soil macrofauna population density. The presence of diverse vegetation and adequate canopy can affect environmental conditions and the diversity of soil macrofauna. Based on the diversity of soil macrofauna, cultivation with an agroforestry pattern is preferable to peatlands.

Sengon (Falcataria moluccana) is a superior commodity of private forests in Java island. However, its management faces a gall rust attack. In addition, another challenge is the presence of weed disturbance which can reduce plant growth productivity. This study aims to measure the diversity and utilization of weed species in the agroforestry and sengon monoculture demonstration plots. The research method used was the method of vegetation analysis of understorey and interviews. Data analysis was performed descriptively using the importance species index, species diversity index and species similarity index.The results showed that both cropping patterns produced the same level of diversity and species richness despite differences in species density and presence. A total of 29 species of weeds were found in the agroforestry pattern and 27 types in the monoculture pattern.. Weed species diversity in agroforestry and monoculture patterns is classified as moderate with Shannon-Wienner species diversity index (H ') values of 2.47 and 2.66 respectively. Likewise, the level of species richness both pattern is classified as moderate with Margalef Richness Index (R’) value of 3.89 in monoculture and 4.23 in agroforestry. The level of species similarity between the two cropping pattern according to the Bray-Curtis Index is 0.66. The density of weeds in the monoculture pattern is higher (66.00 individuals / m2) than the agroforestry pattern (62.25 individuals / m2). Most of the weeds (67.65%) are used by people around the forest as animal feed (18 species), foodstuffs (4 species) and traditional medicine (4 species). The many species of weeds that can be utilized by the community shows that sengon forests can support food security, so that the weed control techniques recommended are manual techniques with simple tools and spatial management with F. moluccana plants.

Soil macrofauna has an important role in the ecosystems and soil fertility. Agroforestry patterns have environmental benefits such as providing living space for biodiversity including soil macrofauna. This study aims to measure the influence of teak and kimpul agroforestry on the diversity of soil macrofauna. The study was conducted on teak and kimpul agroforestry demonstration plots in the KPH Yogyakarta in January 2019. The research method used was monolith and hand sorting techniques and the analysis was carried out descriptively using the species diversity index approach. The results showed that teak and kimpul agroforestry patterns did not affect on the diversity of species and density of soil macrofauna. The level of diversity of soil macrofauna in teak and kimpul agroforestry, teak monoculture and kimpul monoculture are low. The value of soil macrofauna diversity in teak and kimpul agroforests is higher than teak monoculture and kimpul monoculture. A total of five types of soil macrofauna were found in 12-year teak agroforestry, six types in 42-year teak agroforestry, five types in 12-year teak monoculture, eight types in 42-year teak monoculture and five types in kimpul monoculture. The dominant soil macrofauna are Microtermes sp. and Anomala sp.

Limited agricultural land areas combined with increasing demands for food require breakthroughs in land use development using agroforestry systems. Intercropping root crops with trees could be an alternative for food production in forest areas. This study aimed to assess the feasibility of cocoyam (Xanthosoma sagittifolium (L.) Schott) farming on dry land within 12- and 42-year-old teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) forests to support local food security. The feasibility assessment took into account both productivity and socio-economic aspects. The agroforestry land productivity was measured using the land equivalent ratio (LER), and our analysis of the cocoyam farming within the teak stands was carried out using the revenue/cost ratio (R/C) at the demonstration plot scale. Furthermore, we also surveyed farmers’ perceptions of the production of cocoyam for food security. The results showed that the R/C values of cocoyam tuber production in agroforestry systems were lower than 1. However, the production rates of cocoyam tubers in the 12-year-old teak stand (48.3% light intensity) and the 42-year-old teak stand (62.5% light intensity) were 2.64 and 2.76 tons/ha, respectively. The overall yields from the teak and cocoyam agroforestry systems were more profitable than those of the monoculture system, as indicated by the LER values of 1.61 and 1.85. Cocoyam production was socially acceptable (77% of respondents) as a smallholder subsistence agroforestry practice to meet food demand. Increasing cocoyam productivity in teak forests requires the adoption of agroforestry silvicultural technology to achieve food security for rural communities. To increase their farming production and income, farmers could apply intensive silvicultural practices. Governmental support that could be provided includes encouraging product diversification and providing assistance for the processing and marketing of cocoyam products.

Agroforestry has been practiced for decades and is undoubtedly an important source of income for Indonesian households living near forests. However, there are still many cases of poverty among farmers due to a lack of ability to adopt advanced technology. This literature review aims to identify the characteristics and factors causing the occurrence of agricultural subsistence and analyze its implications for the level of farmer welfare and the regional forestry industry. The literature analysis conducted reveals that small land tenure, low literacy rates, and lack of forest maintenance are the main causes of the subsistence of small agroforestry farmers. Another reason is that subsistence-oriented agroforestry practices are considered a strong form of smallholder resilience. All of these limitations have implications for low land productivity and high-sawn timber waste from community forests. To reduce the subsistence level of farmers, government intervention is needed, especially in providing managerial assistance packages, capital assistance, and the marketing of forest products. Various agroforestry technologies are available but have not been implemented consistently by farmers. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an integrated collaboration between researchers, farmers, and regionally owned enterprises (BUMD) to increase access to technology and markets. Although it is still difficult to realize, forest services, such as upstream–downstream compensation and carbon capture, have the potential to increase farmer income.

Jalawure ( Tacca leontopetaloides Kunz.) merupakan tumbuhan potensial yang umbinya digunakan sebagai sumber pangan alternatif di wilayah pantai. Masyarakat di Kabupaten Garut memanen umbi jalawure langsung dari alam, namun habitat alami jalawure banyak terganggu oleh perubahan penggunaan lahan, sehingga diperlukan upaya konservasi dan budidayanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sebaran, kelimpahan populasi dan karakteristik habitat jalawure di Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun 2016 di Kecamatan Cikelet dan Pameungpeuk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis vegetasi dan survey tempat tumbuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jalawure di Kabupaten Garut tersebar di beberapa pantai Garut Selatan hingga ketinggian 20 m dpl dengan pola sebaran mengelompok. Sebaran alami jalawure terbesar ditemukan di Pantai Sayang Heulang (29.000 individu/ha) dan Pantai Cigadog (12.500 individu/ha) yang mendominasi tumbuhan bawah dengan Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) sebesar 68,27-96,69 %. Jalawure tumbuh baik di bawah naungan Pandanus tectorius hingga tingkat naungan 80%, namun dapat pula tumbuh pada lahan terbuka. Jalawure tumbuh alami pada tanah dengan tekstur pasir (91,33-97,98 %), pH tanah agak alkalis (7,73-8,02) dan Kapasitas Tukar Kation (KTK) sangat rendah (0,81 me/100 g) hingga rendah (10,39 me/100 g).

Percobaan budidaya jalawure ( Tacca leontopetaloides ) dengan sistem agroforestri di bawah tegakan jati ( Tectona grandis ) telah dilakukan dengan melibatkan petani di Desa Cijambe Kecamatan Cikelet, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat. Adanya perlakuan silvikultur berupa pengolahan tanah, pemberian pupuk kandang dan pengaturan jarak tanam telah mendorong pertumbuhan gulma pada lahan yang berpotensi mengganggu pertumbuhan jalawure. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada April 2017 ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi dan keragaman jenis gulma yang tumbuh di lahan agroforestri jati-jalawure serta potensi pemanfaatannya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan analisis vegetasi tumbuhan bawah metode kuadrat dengan petak ukur 1 x 1 m diulang tiga kali untuk setiap plot dan wawancara dengan informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 26 jenis gulma dari 16 famili dengan jenis gulma yang paling mendominasi adalah Axonopus compressus dari famili Poaceae. Tingkat keragaman jenis gulma (H’) 1,03-1,64 tergolong sedang, tingkat kekayaan jenis gulma (R’)

Teak and polynesian arrowroot is a new pattern of agroforestry to support food security of communities around forests in coastal areas. The presence of polynesian arrowroot under teak stands is not only expected to be food sources but also to provide ecological benefits for biodiversity, especially soil macrofauna. The study aims is to determine the diversity of soil macrofauna in teak and polynesia arrowroot agroforestry patterns. The study was conducted in Garut Regency in April 2017. The method used in this study was monolithic technique and analyzed by calculating diversity and richness index. The object was an agroforestry demonstration plot with three polynesia arrowroot spacings under 7-years-old teak stand and monoculture teak. The results showed that there were 5 soil macrofaunas in teak and polynesian arrowroot agroforestry which are from five families and five orders. The dominance order was coleoptera with Important Value Index (IVI) = 133.93% -157.78% and opisthophora with IVI = 103.51%. The diversity and richness of soil macrofauna in teak and polynesian arrowroot agroforestry patterns is low (H '= 0.28-0.55; R' = 0.87-1.48). Although agroforestry cultivation is carried out intensively, there is no difference in the diversity of soil macrofauna when compared to teak monoculture.

The purpose of this research is to compare the intensity attack of G. agamemnon on monoculture and manglid agroforestry patterns , to identify G. agamemnon parasitoid and to compare the level of parasitization on monoculture and manglid agroforestry patterns. The method used is direct observation of manglid with parameters such as G. agamemnon intensity attack on monocultur and agroforestry, morphology identification of parasitoid type and parasitization level on monoculture and agroforestry. The results showed that G. agamemnon attack on monoculture pattern reached 39.25 % and 25.75 % on agroforestry pattern. The type of parasitoid that attacks G. agamemnon larvae is Diaparsis sp. Parasitization of Diaparsis sp . on monoculture and agroforestry manglid pattern were 55.00 % and 66.67%. Keywords: D iaparsis, G raphium, manglid , parasitoid , pest.

Massive import of garlic products has caused a declining interest of Indonesian farmers to plant garlic due to losing competition in clove size and lower selling price. This has discouraged the farmers from applying the innovation of garlic farming technology that caused low garlic productivity in Indonesia (8.7 t/ha). The purpose of this research was to improve the technology package of garlic cultivation at the farmer level. The study was conducted from July to October 2021 in Cianjur Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The technology packages experimental design was randomized block design with nine replications. The technology packages tested were farmer’s technology package, introduced technology package-1, and introduced technology package-2. The components of the technology package tested were cultivar, mulch types, number of cloves per hole, biofertilizer, biopesticide, and chemical fertilizers. The observed variables were plant growth, bulb yield, and input-output of farming. The results showed that the technology package introduction could increase the plant performance, namely the plant height, stem diameter, bulb fresh weight and bulb diameter. The highest R/C ratio was reached by the technology package introduction-1 (1.47). The introduced technology package-1 was more profitable than package-2 as indicated by the MBCR value of 12.46 and 8.83 respectively.

Cajuput (Melaleuca spp. and Asteromyrtus spp.) are widely spread throughout the Wasur National Park forming the cajuput forest. The information on biodiversity level and the ecological condition of cajuput forest are less studied for the last 10 years, especially the condition of vegetation after the utilization of Asteromyrtus symphyocarpa for cajuput oil materials. This study aims to determine the vegetation and diversity of plant species in the cajuput forests in Wasur National Park. The method used in this study is vegetation analysis using line transect and interview. The study was conducted during April-May 2012. The results of this study showed that there were 23 plant species from 10 families dominated by the family of Myrtaceae found in cajuput forests with relatively low to moderate level of biodiversity indices. There are six species identified as the cajuput oil producers: A. symphyocarpa, Asteromyrtus brasii, Melaleuca cajuputi, Melaleuca leucadendra, Melaleuca viridiflora and Melaleuca sp. ”sunggi” which are spread in three formations of cajuput forest namely Asteromyrtus symphyocarpa forest, Melaleuca sp. "sunggi" forest and mix savanna. Local people use plants for house constructions, fuel wood, medicines and cultural equipment. The only economic income generated from the Park is from the sales cajuput oil materials from Asteromyrtus symphyocarpa which has low pressure on species sustainability. ABSTRAK Kayu putih (Melaleuca spp. dan Asteromyrtus spp.) tersebar luas di kawasan Taman Nasional Wasur membentuk hutan kayu putih. Tingkat keanekaragaman jenis dan kondisi ekologi hutan kayu putih sejak sepuluh tahun terakhir belum diketahui, khususnya pasca pemanfaatan jenis Asteromrtus symphyocarpa sebagai bahan baku minyak kayu putih oleh masyarakat di dalam kawasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi vegetasi dan keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan pada hutan kayu putih serta pemanfaatannya oleh masyarakat lokal di Taman Nasional Wasur. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis vegetasi dengan teknik jalur garis berpetak dan wawancara. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April dan Mei 2012. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 23 jenis tumbuhan dari 10 famili ditemukan pada hutan kayu putih dengan tingkat keanekaragaman hayati tergolong rendah hingga sedang. Terdapat enam jenis tumbuhan yang diketahui sebagai penghasil minyak kayu putih antara lain A. symphyocarpa, Asteromyrtus brasii, Melaleuca cajuputi, Melaleuca leucadendra, Melaleuca viridiflora dan Melaleuca sp.”sunggi” yang tersebar pada tiga formasi hutan yaitu hutan Asteromyrtus symphyocarpa, hutan Melaleuca sp.”sunggi” dan savana campuran. Pemanfaatan tumbuhan oleh masyarakat lokal sebagian besar untuk kepentingan perlengkapan rumah, kayu bakar, obat, dan perlengkapan adat. Pemanfaatan ekonomi hanya jenis A. symphyocarpa sebagai bahan baku minyak kayu putih dengan pemanfaatan yang tidak menganggu kelestarian jenis. Jalawure merupakan umbi penghasil pangan alternatif bagi wilayah pesisir pantai hingga dataran rendah. Pemanfaatan jalawure masih mengandalkan sebaran alami dan budidaya non intensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usahatani jalawure di bawah tegakan jati hutan rakyat. Penelitian dilaksanakan tahun 2016 hingga 2017 di Kecamatan Cikelat, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan informan kunci. Kriteria kelayakan usahatani jangka pendek dihitung dengan pendekatan rasio biaya pendapatan dan analisis produktivitas pertanian. Sementara kelayakan usahatani jangka panjang dinilai dengan pendekatan Net Present Value dan Net Benefit Cost Ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani jalawure pada jarak tanam 75x75 cm dengan produksi akhir tepung lebih layak dijalankan dibanding dengan jarak tanam 50x50 cm dan 100x100 cm dengan R/C 1,67, produktivitas kerja Rp 78.496 per HOK dan produktivitas lahan Rp 6.993 0.816 per hektar per tahun dan produktivitas modal 14,4% per tahun. Untuk tujuan usaha jangka panjang, usahatani jalawaure berpotensi menjadi agribisnis yang menguntungkan dengan NPV 14.400.059,11 dan Net B/C 1.08.

The research was aimed to know utilization of medicinal plants by Kanum tribe in Wasur National Park (WNP). Data collecting was conducted throught direct observation in the field and interview with key respondent. The result showed Kanum tribe people in WNP were used 37 species of plants from 26 family as traditional medicine for 24 diseases. Most of medicinal plants were taken form natural forest and mostly from tree habitus. The leaf of those plants were mostly used for medicinal treatment and all of medicinal treatments were simple and without magic approach. The medicinal plants that potentially had an economic values were Asteromyrtus symphiocarp producing an essential (cajuput) oil and Myrmecodia pendans as a herb of “Sarang Semut” commodity. ABSTRAK Kawasan Taman Nasional (TN) Wasur telah lama menjadi domisili bagi 4 suku besar Malind Anim Merauke yaitu Suku Marori Men-Gey, Marind, Kanum dan Yeninan. Suku Kanum merupakan pemegang hak ulayat atas sebagian besar wilayah TN Wasur dan tersebar secara luas pada beberapa kampung di dalam kawasan Taman Nasional. Isolasi geografis yang dialami masyarakat Suku Kanum telah menjadikan alam sebagai sumber utama dalam menopang kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam upaya pengobatan penyakit. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat oleh Suku Kanum di kawasan TN Wasur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terhadap responden kunci dan observasi lapang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat adat Suku Kanum di TN Wasur memanfaatkan 37 jenis tumbuhan yang berasal dari 26 famili sebagai obat tradisional untuk mengobati 24 jenis penyakit. Sebagian besar tumbuhan obat tergolong pohon yang berasal dari hutan alam. Daun merupakan bagian tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan. Peramuan obat dilakukan secara tunggal atau hanya satu bagian tumbuhan untuk mengobati satu penyakit dan dengan teknik yang sederhana seperti perebusan. Jenis tumbuhan obat yang bernilai ekonomis adalah Asteromyrtus symphiocarpa sebagai penghasil minyak kayu putih dan Myrmecodia pendans sebagai penghasil herbal sarang semut. The utilization of cajaput tree species for cajuput oil production in the Wasur National Park (NP) should be supported by accurate data and information. It becomes important because uncontrolled exploitation can lead to disruption of the national park function. This study aims to determine the spatial distribution of three cajuput tree species, i.e Asteromyrtus symphyocarpa, Melaleuca cajuputi and Melalueca viridiflora existed in Wasur NP region. The results of this study showed that, in general, the distribution of those three cajuput oil species mostly in Yanggandur area. They are mainly concentrated around the Yanggandur village, Mbembi village, Wasur village and Sota village. Those species were mostly found around wamps, especially in the Sermayam, Rawa Buaya and Rawa Biru. The total area of those three species was 103,011.75 ha, which was dominated by A.symphyocarpa (8.30% of the total area of the NP), followed by M.cajuputi (8.27% of the total area of the NP) and M.viridiflora (7.03% of the total area of the NP). In general, A. symphyocarpa dominantly grow on type of Kambisol soil, where as M.cajuputi and M.viridi flora dominantly grow on soils type of Kambisol and Gleysol.

Wanggalem merupakan daerah yang berlokasi di Distrik Merauke yang berada di dalam Taman Nasional Wasur, Papua yang didominasi oleh tumbuhan penghasil kayu putih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan penghasil kayu putih yang berada di daerah tersebut. Analisis vegetasi dilakukan dengan membuat 25 plot berukuran 20 m x 20 m. Masing-masing plot dibagi menjadi sub plot berukuran 2 m x 2 m untuk pengukuran tingkat semai, 5 m x 5 m untuk pengukuran tingkat pancang, 10 m x 10 m pengukuran tingkat tiang dan 20 m x 20 m pengukuran tingkat pohon Hasil penelitian menujukan ada tiga jenis tumbuhan penghasil kayu putih yaitu Melaleuca leucadendron M. sp and M. cajuputi. Semua tingkat pertumbuhan pohon (semai, pancang , tiang dan pohon) didominasi oleh jenis M. cajuputi. Hutan di wilayah Wanggalem sangat rendah keanekaragaman jenisnya karena hanya ditemukan 4 (empat) jenis dari 2 (dua) genus. Wanggalem is an area located in Merauke district within Wasur National Park, Papua,dominated by cajeput tree species. This research aimed to measure species diversity of cajuput tree species in those area. A vegetation analysis was conducted by appliying 25 plots with 20 m x 20 m size of each plot. Each plot was divided into 2 m x 2 m sub plot for seedling, 5 m x 5 m sub plot for sapling, and 10 m x 10 m sub plot for poles.The results show that there are three cajuput tree species in this area, Melaleuca leucadendron. M. sp and M. cajuputi. All of tree growth level (seedling, sapling, pole and tree) are dominated by M. cajuputi. Species diversity in Wanggalem area is very low because only 4 (four) species from 2 (two) genera were discovered.

Dalam tulisan ini disajikan hasil analisis aspek finansial pengolahan minyak kayu putih (MKP) secara tradisional di Taman Nasional (TN) Wasur, Papua. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam dengan penyuling MKP. Penilaian terhadap kelayakan finansial usaha MKP menggunakan ukuran yaitu: NPV, IRR, BCR, dan sensitivitas. Analisis dilakukan dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun dengan suku bunga 10%, dilakukan pada 2 (dua) kasus: pengusahaan oleh penduduk asli dan pengusahaan oleh pendatang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pengolahan oleh penduduk asli nilai NPV adalah Rp 258.686.275 dan BCR: 1,72. Sedangkan nilai NPV dan BCR pada pengolahan MKP oleh pendatang berturut-turut adalah Rp. 56.947.848 dan 1,1. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengolahan minyak kayu putih secara tradisional pada kedua sistem pengolahan layak secara finansial.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur potensi produksi daun dan minyak kayu putih jenis A. symphyocarpa yang ada di kawasan TN Wasur. Penelitian dilakukan di lakukan di 3 lokasi dominan A. symphyocarpa: Mbembi, Samleber dan Sota. Pengukuran inventarisasi potensi vegetasi dilakukan pada 12 plot bersarang berukuran 20 m x 20 m di masing-masing lokasi (total 36 plot). Setiap pohon, tiang dan pancang diukur diameter setinggi dada dan jumlah dahannya, sementara tingkat semai dicacah jumlahnya. Sejumlah 9 sampel individu mewakili tingkat pohon, pancang dan tiang diambil 3 dahan per pohon kemudian timbang daunnya untuk memperkirakan berat daun per individu pohon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat tiang memiliki produksi daun kayu putih per pohon tertinggi dibanding tingkat pertumbuhan lainnya. Ketersediaan jenis A. symphyocarpa yang paling potensial untuk dipanen daunnya pada saat ini ada di tingkat pancang dan tiang berdasarkan kelimpahan di alam dan produksi daun per individu. Perkiraan total potensi produksi daun kayu putih jenis A. symphyocarpa di TN Wasur saat ini adalah 15.139,8 ton. Rata-rata potensi minyak kayu putih dari jenis A. symphyocarpa adalah 17,21 liter/ha atau total seluruh kawasan TN Nasional Wasur saat ini mencapai 402.450,45 liter. Kawasan Taman Nasional Teluk Cenderawasih memiliki keunikan dan kekhasan karakteristik ekologi, namun mengalami permasalahan sosial. Banyaknya pemangku kepentingan terhadap sumberdaya alam yang terdapat di dalam kawasan mengakibatkan terjadinya konflik kepentingan dalam pengelolaannya. Manajemen kolaborasi sangat diperlukan dalam mereduksi konflik kepentingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi implementasi sistem kolaborasi dalam pengelolaan TN Teluk Cenderawasih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemangku kepentingan terhadap Taman Nasional (TN) Teluk Cenderawasih adalah (1) kelompok pemerintah, baik pusat maupun daerah, (2) Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat, (3) pihak swasta dan (4) masyarakat lokal. Pemangku kepentingan utama terhadap pengelolaan taman nasional adalah Balai TN Teluk Cenderawasih, Pemerintah Daerah, Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat dan masyarakat adat. Para pemangku kepentingan memiliki kesamaan kepentingan terhadap taman nasional yaitu untuk tujuan konservasi, mengambil manfaat dan aktivitas lain yang mendukung pengelolaan. Terdapat peran positif para pemangku kepentingan terhadap pengelolaan taman nasional namun belum membentuk sinergi, sehingga sistem kolaborasi potensial untuk diterapkan dalam pengelolaan TN Teluk Cenderawasih.

Water birds is one of the featured biodiversity of Wasur National Park in Papua. Rawa Donggamit and Ndalir Beach is a habitat for water birds closest to residential areas and became the object of tourist attraction. This study aims to determine the species diversity of water birds and habitat conditions in Wasur National Park. The research was conducted in October 2010. The method was used is the exploration field. The results showed as many as 56 species of birds from 15 families found scattered in the area of Rawa Donggamit (50 species) and Ndalir Beach (22 species). The diversity level of bird classified as moderate with Shannon-Wienner value index (H ') of 1,72 to 2,81, Margalef richness index (R') is high for Rawa Donggamit (R '= 6,32) and moderate for Ndalir Beach (R '= 2,64). There are significant differences in the diversity between locations with Jaccard index value of 0,28. The condition of the habitat of water birds in the Rawa Donggamit suffered invasion some plant species with the widest level of invasion is kind of Fimbristylis sp. 25% of the forest habitat, while bird habitat in Ndalir beach was not much disturbed.Burung air merupakan salah satu keanekaragaman hayati unggulan di Taman Nasional Wasur Papua. Rawa Donggamit dan Pantai Ndalir merupakan habitat burung air terdekat dengan wilayah pemukiman dan menjadi objek daya tarik wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman jenis burung air dan kondisi habitatnya di Taman Nasional Wasur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2010. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penjelajahan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 56 jenis burung dari 15 famili dijumpai tersebar di wilayah Rawa Donggamit (50 jenis) dan Pantai Ndalir (22 jenis). Tingkat keragaman jenis burung tergolong sedang dengan nilai indeks Shannon-Wienner (H’) sebesar 1,72-2,81, Indeks kekayaan Margalef (R’) tergolong tinggi untuk Rawa Donggamit (R’= 6,32) dan sedang untuk Pantai Ndalir (R’= 2,64). Terdapat perbedaan keragaman yang nyata antar lokasi dengan nilai Indeks Jaccard sebesar 0,28. Kondisi habitat burung air di Rawa Donggamit mengalami invasi beberapa jenis tumbuhan dengan tingkat invasi terluas adalah jenis Fimbristylis sp. mencapai 25 % dari luas habitat, sedangkan habitat burung di Pantai Ndalir tidak banyak terganggu.
