Named Data Networking is a promising application of Information Concentric Networking. More research is required to improve NDN mobility especially when Interest and Data contents are flooded during transmission. In named data networking framework, data integrity and security are highly guaranteed due to its nature of operation. Although, Information Concentric Networks are to some extend vulnerable to some form of Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. these attacks are mostly Interest Flooding Attacks. In this paper, a scalable solution that is capable of moderating complex interest flooding framework for rendezvous and producer nodes mobile routes is implemented by simulation. The simulation involves mobile producer (MP) transmission between the two interfaces (in-out bound) on a network. We further adopt the use an efficient protocol known as the Listen First Broadcast Later for Interest content as they are transmitted by consumer in search for data between nodes of producer and rendezvous in motion. Our implementation ensures preventing attackers at both ends of the links without affecting non attacking consumers and producers. The protocol depends on the mobile producer’s Data content reply and use a fix rate adaptation to initiate secured handoff. Simulation results in ndnSIM 2.1 and Wireshark present successful implementation of the producer to rendezvous scalable content delivery between the links.

Nowadays, Internet has become a crucial part of everyday life in areas of academic research, healthcare, military, commercial industries, transportation, and entertainment. The Internetwork was not invented for its present-day state of operation. Numerous limitations are currently emerging in terms of Internet performance, mobility, scalability, dependability, security, and service quality. In this paper we consider real time network application for voice and video, both having variable bitrate sources. A mobile producer is solely responsible to direct the traffic to a specified destination, either in one network or different. For voice traffic, a constant bitrate (CBR) is generated in real time during a talkspurt. During this generation interval, a small amount of traffic is transmitted in a period of silent pause. For video traffic, the bitrate is changed because video coding form is altering due to time interval. Also, the visible image in the proposed video application varies due to network coding application. In the results, performance analysis is measured due to amount of time spend in each cell residence and signalling cost between mobile producer and rendezvous node as a definite destination. We conducted simulation coding in ndnSIM 2.1 and performance analysis using Python. Simulation output present better results compared with other benchmarked research.

Linear age progression models which are largely used in prototype and conventional approaches usually produce synthesized images that are lack of quality because of the aging variations. Therefore, in this paper, a facial age progression model that captures non-linear age variances is designed by using a deep learning-based method called Generative Adversarial Network. The proposed face aging model aims to achieve convincing and visually plausible aging effects by controlling the age attribute. The model first maps the face via a convolutional encoder to a latent vector, then the vector is projected by a deconvolutional generator to the face manifold based on age, and finally the encoder and the generator are imposed on two adversarial networks respectively. The proposed model is trained on UTKFace dataset using Pytorch machine learning library. The experimental results demonstrate the capability of the proposed Generative Advanced Network (GAN) model of generating photorealistic aging faces and preserving the original identity property.

Wireless community networks (WCNs) are a solution for people who are living in some areas facing difficulties for accessing the internet because no ISPs are providing them with the service due to the long distance, the high cost of infrastructure, and the less no of people in these areas. So people decided to build their own internet without the need for ISPs. They build mesh networks to provide WiFi access to the internet. WCNs are considered as large-scale, distributed and decentralized systems. In addition, it consists of numerous nodes, links, content, and services. These networks are constructed in a decentralized way, mixing wired and wireless links with different routing techniques with a different range of applications and services. Therefore, they are very dynamic and diverse. There is an open peering agreement that governs these networks, where it avoids impediments for the participation in the network. The ownership, governance, and knowledge of the network are open. For that reason, WCNs are decentralized as well as they are self-managed and self-owned by community members. Moreover, they are self-growing networks in links, capacity, and services provided. This paper presents a critical analysis of the current routing protocols that are employed for WCNs. In addition, it highlights the strengths and weaknesses of each routing protocol.

The need of clean and renewable energy, as well as the power shortage in Gaza strip with few wind energy studies conducted in Palestine, provide the importance of this paper. Probability density function is commonly used to represent wind speed frequency distributions for the evaluation of wind energy potential in a specific area. This study shows the analysis of the climatology of the wind profile over the State of Palestine; the selections of the suitable probability density function decrease the wind power estimation error percentage. A selection of probability density function is used to model average daily wind speed data recorded at for 10 years in Gaza strip. Weibull probability distribution function has been estimated for Gaza based on average wind speed for 10 years. This assessment is done by analyzing wind data using Weibull probability function to find out the characteristics of wind energy conversion. The wind speed data measured from January 1996 to December 2005 in Gaza is used as a sample of actual data to this study. The main aim is to use the Weibull representative wind data for Gaza strip to show how statistical model for Gaza Strip over ten years. Weibull parameters determine by author depend on the pervious study using seven numerical methods, Weibull shape factor parameter is 1.7848, scale factor parameter is 4.3642 ms-1, average wind speed for Gaza strip based on 10 years actual data is 2.95 ms-1 per a day so the behavior of wind velocity based on probability density function show that we can produce energy in Gaza strip.

This paper proposed novel Hill Climbing Search (HCS) algorithm to reach maximum power point tracking (MPPT). The proposed algorithm used two main techniques; the first one is power prediction mode and the second one is the two-mode HCS algorithm. The latter is used to achieve the maximum possible power from Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) with better efficiency, faster convergence speed and using only two-mode (more simple) to avoid the iteration and delay. Moreover, novel algorithm not requires any prior knowledge of WECS and it’s considered absolutely independent of Wind Turbine (WT) generator. The simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithm is remarkably faster by 30 % of the total time required comparing to the mode HCS and more efficient due to simplicity.

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is essential for the Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) mainly for the small scale wind turbine. In order to captured the maximum possible power from wind turbine, it is very important to operate the WECS at MPPT and tracking the maximum power point in the power output signal. This paper presents a critical analysis of the algorithm generation to reach maximum power point based on power efficiency and simplicity.

Due to the rapid development in the transmission of Wireless Network technologies, the need for rate evaluation using network coding demands urgent attention. This is solely dependent on how to improve on high performance communication channels for user’s interest. In this paper, an approach of using queuing theory in a wireless network is presented. The idea of network coding in a wireless environment address the transmission of packets not only in unicast form but also address the conflict in packet movement across a channel. Network coding also contributes greatly in computer communication system and other computer based electronic appliances. This means that a source is transmitting packets to a particular destination according to the user’s needs in a communication system. Packet transmission is enhanced within the wireless network using queuing theory. In this approach, the first routers are set to be the user access router and another directly connected router is set to be the source router. The user access router is set to connect 11 number of other routers where mainly the network coding is conducted. The results show an improvement in transmission rate by applying network coding as compared to other scenarios where networks coding are not utilized or the conventional routing either.

A scenario-aware is a type of protocol designed to enable NDN applications have specific interest/data naming convention and specific message exchange. Location update and Handoff analysis are the two basic classes of managing network mobility in both IP and NDN. Location update focus mainly on updating producer's mobility/movement information while handoff focus mainly on ensuring network access as the mobile producer continues to relocate/change its (Point of Attachment) PoA to another. Thus, the frequent mobility of the NDN producer is one high significant features of network mobility in an NDN environment. In this paper, the mobile producer is anchorless and is required to frequently change its Care of Address (CoA) as it relocates between multiple NDN access networks. This then has absolute effect on network performance of the mobility management at mobile producer's handoff. Therefore, a performance analysis for the mobile producer handoff between different NDN access networks using NDN scenario-aware protocol is presented using analytical approach and to be supported with simulation. Simulations were carried out using ndnSim 2.1 NS3-based. Analysis were estimated for delay during handoff and packet loss for interest/data exchange between mobile producers.

The objective of this paper is to present performance analysis of a new enhanced mobile multicast network mobility management scheme. The initial developed network mobility management called Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) is based on unicast network support. This paper enabled multicast support in network mobility management and named it as MPMIPv6. Additionally this enhancement also provides better network performance with the new context transfer operations and fast reroute operations. In brief, this paper also describes other current mobile multicast schemes. The new scheme is evaluated using mathematical analysis and NS3.19 simulator. Theoretically this scheme reduces service recovery time, total signalling cost, handover latency, and packet loss for multicast communication. However for this paper, the analysed parameters are throughput and handover latency. Both mathematical and simulation results exhibit better network performance for multicast environment compared to the standard benchmark scheme.

The generation, distributionand transmission of electricity in Palestine have recently emerged as major issues. This study comprehensively assesses the production of wind energy and the estimation of wind energy potential in Palestine’s south coastal plain. The goal is to evaluate Palestine’s wind energy production by studying wind data and calculating energy and power. This study analyses two actual time series datasets. Findings are elaborated to determine the wind energy conversion per 1 m2. The wind speed data from January 1996 to December 2006 in Gaza and from January 2012 to December 2015 in Ashqelon are selected as the data sample. This study is crucial given the need for clean and renewable energy, the power shortage in the Gaza Strip and the limited number of wind energy studies conducted in the south coastal plain of Palestine, especially Gaza Strip. This study estimates the wind energy potential of the Gaza Strip to determine the wind potential. The annual mean wind speed and power are 4.11 ms-1 and 903.4 Wm-2, respectively. Moreover, the study clarifies the electrical energy generation in the Gaza Strip using small-scale turbines and offers a feasible alternative to existing schemes.

There is high need for data encryption. Accordingly, there are several techniques to encrypt and encode data. Unicode has become a unified global coding system. The special feature of Unicode system is that it can be expanded and it is adopted by many computer fonts' ready-package programs. This research work uses FontCreator program, which adopts unified global coding system, to generate computer font to write the Quran according to ALDANI Uthmanic script. The explanation of the technique to write one page of Quran using this font is highlighted. Analysis of time estimation to write the whole Quran is presented.

Recently, data that generated from variety of sources with massive volumes, high rates, and different data structure, data with these characteristics is called Big Data. Big Data processing and analyzing is a challenge for the current systems because they were designed without Big Data requirements in mind and most of them were built on centralized architecture, which is not suitable for Big Data processing because it results on high processing cost and low processing performance and quality. MapReduce framework was built as a parallel distributed programming model to process such large-scale datasets effectively and efficiently. This paper presents six successful Big Data software analysis solutions implemented on MapReduce framework, describing their datasets structures and how they were implemented, so that it can guide and help other researchers in their own Big Data solutions.
