Di indonesia bulutangkis menjadi salah satu cabang olahraga yang banyak disukai berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Karakteristik dari permainan bulutangkis adalah permainan dengan mengejar dan menjangkau shuttlecock kemampuan arahnya dan berusaha untuk memukul shuttlecock supaya tidak jatuh di daerah permainan sendiri. Faktor kelincahan sangatlah dibutuhkan dalam permainan bulutangkis. Bentuk permainan kecil pun dapat meningkatkan kelincahan pemain bulu tangkis itu sendiri. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kelincahan pada permainan bulutangkis. Sehingga penelitian ini untuk membantu meningkatkan kelincahan pada permainan bulutangkis dengan diawali dengan permainan kecil. Objek yang menjadi penelitian ini adalah Atlet junior bulutangkis PB. Singkut Kec. Singkut. Bentuk permainan kecil dapat diterapkan pada saat melakukan latihan atau pemanasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan kecil terhadap peningkatan kelincahan pada Atlet junior bulutangkis PB. Singkut Kec. Singkut. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan eksperimen di mana rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan dengan satu kelompok melalui tes awal – tes akhir (one group desaign). Kemampuan shuttle run diukur atau dinilai melalui tes awal, kemudian diberi perlakuan Latihan permainan kecil. Setelah diberi perlakuan selama 6 minggu, kemudian shuttle run diukur atau dinilai melalui tes akhir. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PB. Singkut kec Singkut Kab Sarolangun pada bulan Desember 2016 s/d Januari 2017. Hasil permainan kecil memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kelincahan, ini dibuktikan pada pengujian hipotesis yaitu t hitung > t table adalah 2,58> 2,19. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa permainan kecil dapat meningkatkan kelincahan pada atlet junior bulu tangkis PB. Singkut Kec Singkut.

Currently in Malaysia, most of the plywood industries are using tropical hardwood veneer with combination of rubberwood to form plywood. The used of rubberwood has actively reduced the cost of plywood production but recently the price of rubberwood logs has increased due to the shortage of the supply. Due to the demand from other timber industries such as furniture and medium density board thus, alternative raw material which is not focuses on lignocellulosic material only but also on the residue can be offered. Oil palm stems (Elaeisguineensis Jacq) need to be explored as these stems are abundant after falling from plantations which have not been fully utilized due to their poor properties. The main drawback of oil palm is its low dimensional stability found in the stem parts. Therefore this study investigated the 100% oil palm stem (OPS) plywood denoted as PTA by optimizing the pre drying process of the veneer by using roller pressing machine, steam dryer and platen press machine. After the OPS veneers have been pre-dried, they were treated with Medium Molecular Weight Phenol Formaldehyde (MMwPF) resin before fabrication of OPS plywood. The product could be promoted as concrete foam, light weight partitions, wall panel and floor slabs. The fracture toughness of OPS plywood developed in this study denoted as PTA was investigated. These properties were compared with the properties of another two types of commercial OPS plywood denoted as PTB and PTC which were manufactured using OPS veneer with tropical hardwood veneer for face and back veneer and control plywood denoted as PTD which was manufactured using 100% tropical hardwood veneer. The highest value of plain strain and energy release was showed by PTA compared to commercial plywood. The failure was more prominent in wood which showed by the crack propagated line in the veneer layer.

Small sided-games training is a small-scale field, an appropriate situation developed for young players, so they can learn and develop. Small sided games training is also one of the methods of soccer training using smaller fields with fewer players. This training method is a fairly effective exercise in physical improvement, techniques and tactics Passing is to feed the ball or pass the ball to a friend, while passing determination is the ability to set goals / pass the ball according to the goal or target. This research is an experimental research conducted with the aim to find out whether or not there is a result of something done on the sample to be studied. The research began with a pretest and ended with a posttest. The number of samples in this study amounted to 20 people. The training given was done during 16 meetings. This research was tested using a statistical analysis of the hipotsis test (t test). Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the small sided games exercise gives a significant effect on the accuracy of passing on extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi, proven in the pre-test and post-test assessments with an average pre-test = 505 and post-test = 7.65, with the increment difference of 7.65. This can be seen by the T test that is Tcount = 3.492787 ˃ Ttable = 1.72913. Based on the results of research and calculations from the data and discussions that have been carried out, this research proves that there is an influence of small sided games training on the passing accuracy of extracurricular students at Muaro Jambi State Junior High School. Fog computing is gaining attention due to the potential of aggregating and processing time-sensitive data at the nearby intelligent gateways. It reduces the latency of sensors data aggregation and response time therefore, improve real-time action which is beneficial in environmental monitoring and early warning systems. However, deploying edge computing in Internet-less environment seems unpractical and the mobility of gateways is less focused in current literature. In this paper, we present a practical design of a portable gateways scheme for sensors data aggregation and processing in Internet-less environment. The proposed gateways can locate their geographical locations which can be automatically converted into location names at the central gateway. The proposed portable Fog Gateways are developed by using open-source hardware and integrated with Cloud database for data storage. Data processing techniques such as data parsing and Reverse Geocoding are conducted for reliable data transmission by using GSM/GPRS technology and geographical location name detection respectively. Finally, a case study has been conducted to evaluate the feasibility of our proposed Fog Gateways scheme in real-time application.

This paper explained the analysis and findings of using light bulb as a thermal source for an incubator system. The inner dimension of the incubator is 26 cm (W) x 38 cm (L) x 26 cm (H). In the experiment, a temperature sensor that measures the inside temperature of the incubator used as a feedback signal. To run the experiments, number of light bulbs and its type were determined. There are three types of bulb used i.e. Incandescent Light (IL Bulb), Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL Bulb) and Light Emitting Diode (LED Bulb). Three fixtures are proposed for each bulb type, i.e. one-bulb fixture, two-bulb fixture and three-bulb fixture. Apart from that, three control modes were tested, i.e. Mode 1, Mode 2 and Mode 3. Mode 1 is ON-OFF bulb control. Mode 2 is ON-OFF bulb control, as well as ON-OFF ventilation fan control. Finally, Mode 3 is only ON bulb control and ON-OFF ventilation fans The experimental results showed that, for the chosen incubator size, threebulb fixture IL-type light bulb controlled with Mode 3 control gave shorter time to reach the set point then return to set point after overshoot.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan teknik dasar yang dimiliki oleh pemain sepak bola SSB Pratama Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian dilakukan di lapangan sepakbola SSB Pratama Kabupaten Batanghari dengan jumlah pemain 24 orang. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan pada penelitian ini mengguanakan uji normalitas. Berdasarkan uji normalitas hasil tes dengan uji lilifoers dari keseluruhan data diperoleh hasil normal serta perhitungan pada tiap data diperoleh data passing dengan nilai 6,08 poin dengan kategori sedang, data dribbling dengan nilai 19,6 detik dengan kategori sedang, dan data shooting dengan nilai 12,6 poin dengan kategori baik. Teknik dasar sepakbola pemain SSB Pratama Kabupaten Batanghari termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan baik, yang dimana teknik passing dan dribbling dalam kategori sedang, dan teknik shooting dalam kategori baik.

The neglected field of the Jaina heritage in Pakistan was revived in 2015-17 through a pilot study conducted by the CoJS of SOAS in collaboration with a research team of the Nusrat Jahan College (NJC) in Rabwah, with additional help of local historians of Jainism in North India. In view of the long-term neglect of Jaina sites in Pakistan, and the pressing need of preserving key religious monuments, the project focused on the documentation of the surviving infrastructure, Jaina temples, halls, community buildings, art and writings, along with a historical and demographic study of the Jaina sectarian traditions in the region. The report summarizes key findings.

This paper presents the development of small-scale unmanned underwater drone. The underwater drone model was selected based on a twin-rotor-like aerial platform, adapted to dive and move underwater. It designed to be performed underwater capabilities and few aerial tasks which are can slightly hover on water surface. The design of underwater drone model by using 3D drawing (Solidworks software). The propulsion mechanism of this underwater drone is based on thruster which consists of motor and propeller and for the controller part used manually by using joystick controller and the body of underwater drone using light weight material (PVC foam). The testing and experimental for underwater drone focused on vertically trajectory. In this paper also investigate propeller design by the thrust measurement so that the performances of underwater drone can be observed.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa FIK Universitas Jambi dalam pembelajaran bola voli melalui penerapan modifikasi permainan target. Sedangkan manfaat penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas mahasiswa porkes dalam permainan bolavoli. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan (Action Research), Penelitian tindakan merupakan salah satu bentuk rancangan penelitian, dimana dalam rancangan penelitian tindakan peneliti mendeskripsikan, menginterpretasikan dan menjelaskan suatu situasi sosial pada waktu yang bersamaan dengan melakukan perubahan atau intervensi dengan tujuan perbaikan atau partisipasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus mempunyai langkah–langkah yang sistematis yang terdiri dari perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksiHasil penelitian pada siklus 1, rata-rata nilai mahasiswa 4.9, katagori mahasiswa yang kreatif tinggi sekali tidak ada, kreatif tinggi 2 orang, kreatif sedang 21 orang, kreatif kurang 14 orang. Siklus 2, rata-rata nilai mahasiswa 6, mahasiswa yang kreatif tinggi sekali 2 orang, kreatif tinggi 13 orang, kreatif sedang 17 orang , sedangkan kreatif kurang 4 orang. Dari kedua siklus tersebut tedapat peningkatan kreativitas melalui penerapan modifikasi permainan target terhadap pembelajaran bola voli. In Internet of Things (IoT), the lifespan of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) has often become an issue. Sensor nodes are typically battery powered. However, high energy consumption by Radio Frequency (RF) module limits the lifespan of sensor nodes. In conventional WSN, the frequency of data transmission is normally fixed or adjusted according to requests from the gateway. In this paper, we present a WSN system for intelligent sensing. We propose a low-energy algorithm for sensor data transmission from sensor nodes for such system. In this algorithm, the sensor nodes are able to self-control their data transmission according to the trends of data. We adopt Adaptive Duty Cycle for adjustment of data transmission frequency and Compressive Sensing (CS) for sensor data compression. The simulation results show that Collective Transmission with CS-based data compression achieves 83.34% of RF energy reduction for the best-case transmission and 83.31% of RF energy reduction in the worst-case transmission, compared to the Continuous Transmission.

Nowadays, a long-range data transmission is required in numerous Internet of Things (IoT) applications. This paper introduces a long-range Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) for geo-location tracking of mobile objects as one of the applications. In the proposed system, the geo-location information of moving objects is collected and sent over wireless networks with a reconfigured GPS and LoRa (Long Range) modules. This work presents the design of long-range WSN system and the prototype implementation. We implement multiple sensor nodes deployment, which move away from a static base station called dock. Further, the reliability of geo-location data collection and the quality of wireless communication are evaluated. The results from RSSI test show a high reliability of LoRa module as a transceiver for our targeted long-range geo-location tracking application.

Fabry’s disease is an X‑linked lysosomal storage disorder caused by a deficiency of alpha‑galactosidase A enzyme with the progressive accumulation of globotriaosylceramide in vascular endothelial cells leading to cardiovascular, renal, gastrointestinal, neuropathic, lenticular, and dermatological manifestations. It is a rare cause of end‑stage renal disease. It classically affects males whereas 10–15% of female heterozygote carriers are affected depending on localization. Both the FD and its association with ESRD is rare. This study aimed to determine a feed formulation with the best protein to energy ratio that would result in a better viscera composition and organ indices (OI) of Cyprinus carpio communis. Fingerlings having average weight of 1.64 ± 0.13 g and length of 5.26 ± 0.10 cm were fed on four different formulated feeds and a control feed (each in a triplicate set), 6% of their body weight, three times a day, during 90 days. Feeds were formulated using ground nut oil cake, mustard oil cake, rice bran, wheat bran, fish meal and soybean meal in order to suffice the balanced need of protein and energy of the common carp. Viscera composition and OI of fingerlings were measured. Results indicate that there was a significant increase in viscera lipid content with the increase in dietary carbohydrate level. Platinum is a key component in the catalyst layers of polymer electrolyte fuel cells where there continues to be major challenges delaying the full commercialization of fuel cell vehicles including platinum durability and lifetime.

The highly prioritized objective of research on polymer electrolyte fuel cells is to make highly performing and stable catalyst layers with drastically reduced platinum loading. Achieving this objective demands an understanding of the impact of composition and porous structure of the electrode layers on the water balance in the cell. Experimental studies 1-3 have shown a marked increase in the resistance to oxygen diffusion when the Pt content of the cathode catalyst layer was lowered 4 . We present a water balance model to explain these trends. Figure 1 illustrates modeling domain and processes considered. The set of 1D continuity and flux equations is formulated and solved for water distribution and fluxes in catalyst layers, diffusion media and flow fields. Model solutions reveal the impact of structure, composition, and operating conditions on the water transport phenomena and performance. Reducing the Pt loading induces a drastic shift of the balance between rates of water production and vaporization. This leads to a build-up of the liquid water pressure in catalyst layer and gas diffusion layer on the cathode side that raises the liquid water accumulation and thereby drastically diminishes the effective oxygen diffusivity. Our model unravels the fine details of this interplay and it helps identify strategies for minimizing the Pt loading without running into this water trap References: [1] A. The commercial deployment of polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) hinges on breakthroughs in design and integration of highly performing and durable catalyst layers with drastically reduced platinum loading. In this context, experimental studies have shown an unexpectedly large increase of voltage losses upon a marked reduction of the Pt content. In an effort to unravel this behavior, physical modeling of porous electrodes is employed to analyze a wide range of experimental literature data. Detailed evaluation of the data reveals correlated trends in essential fuel cell parameters. These findings are interpreted in view of the tipping water balance that affects the interplay of transport and reaction in catalyst layer and gas diffusion media. As will be demonstrated, the performed model-based analysis warrants the definition of a correlation exponent that should be used to assess the merit of different approaches to catalyst layer fabrication.
