Efforts to improve the nutritional status of families are not only by improving the quality of health services but also need to be accompanied by efforts to empower families towards independence. In general, obstacles to implementing stunting prevention in Indonesia are caused by weak program coordination at various levels, both the regional and central levels. This activity aimed to conduct cross-sectoral socialization and increase public knowledge about efforts to prevent stinting in community empowerment. The main targets of this activity are stakeholders across sectors and mothers of children under five. The method used is socialization, lectures, and discussions as well as demonstrations of making local MP-ASI. Participants across sectors were enthusiastic in the discussion and question-and-answer process. Participants from mothers of toddlers were able to demonstrate the manufacture of local MP-ASI. Stunting consultations at the village level need to be encouraged so that stunting prevention efforts can be carried out in synergy. ABSTRAK Upaya meningkatkan status gizi keluarga tidak hanya dengan meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kesehatan, tetapi juga perlu dibarengi dengan upaya pemberdayaan keluarga menuju kemandirian. Secara umum kendala dalam penyelenggaraan pencegahan stunting di Indonesia diakibatkan oleh lemahnya koordinasi program di berbagai tingkat baik di daerah maupun di tingkat pusat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan sosialisasi lintas sektor dan peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang upaya pencegahan stunting pemberdayaan masyarakat. Sasaran utama kegiatan ini para stakeholder lintas sektor dan ibu balita. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, ceramah dan diskusi serta demonstrasi pembuatan MP-ASI lokal. Peserta lintas sektor antusias dalam proses diskusi dan tanya jawab. Peserta dari kalangan ibu balita mampu mendemonstrasikan pembuatan MP-ASI lokal. Rembuk stunting di tingkat desa perlu digalakkan agar upaya pencegahan stunting dapat dilakukan secara bersinergi.

Latar belakang. Minuman olahraga dengan kadar karbohidrat dan elektrolit memiliki lebih banyak manfaat. Minuman isotonik merupakan salah satu produk minuman olahraga yang diformulasikan sebagai pengganti cairan, karbohidrat, elektrolit, dan mineral tubuh dengan cepat karena sifatnya yang mudah diserap oleh tubuh setelah diminum. Minuman biunik sebagai produk minuman isotonik, menggunakan bahan pangan lokal, yakni ubi jalar ungu dan jeruk manis dengan penambahan gum arab yang berfungsi untuk mengurangi endapan pada minuman. Produk ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan performa atlet yang mengonsumsinya. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gum arab terhadap kualitas zat gizi pada minuman biunik. Metode. Penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yaitu tiga perlakuan penambahan gum arab 0,1 persen, 0,2 persen, dan 0,3 persen pada minuman biunik berbahan dasar 75 gram ubi jalar ungu. Kualitas zat gizi dianalisis dari kadar karbohidrat dan sukrosa, kadar vitamin C, kadar natrium, dan kalium. Pembuatan minuman biunik dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknologi Pangan Jurusan Gizi Poltekkes Kemenkes Makassar dan analisis kadar zat gizi dilakukan di Balai Besar Laboratorium Kesehatan Makassar. Hasil. Kualitas zat gizi minuman biunik dibandingkan dengan syarat mutu minuman isotonik di Indonesia yang mengacu pada SNI 01-4452-1998. Kadar karbohidrat sampel tidak memenuhi SNI, kadar sukrosa sesuai dengan SNI (>5%), kadar vitamin C mengikuti tren kadar karbohidrat, kadar natrium pada sampel standar (841 mg/kg) yang sesuai dengan SNI dan kadar kalium 7–8 kali diatas standar SNI. Kesimpulan. Penambahan gum arab berpengaruh terhadap kualitas zat gizi minuman biunik dan belum dapat memenuhi standar SNI minuman isotonik, hanya kadar sukrosa, vitamin C, dan natrium sampel standar yang memenuhi standar SNI.

LATAR BELAKANG : Kasus COVID-19 di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan selama era New Normal COVID-19. Selain menerapkan protokol kesehatan, gizi seimbang untuk mendukung daya tahan tubuh sangat penting untuk mencegah dampak lanjutan dari kontraksi COVID-19. TUJUAN: Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi pola perilaku gizi seimbang sebelum dan selama penerapan konsep New Normal di Sulawesi Selatan. METODE : Survei potong lintang terhadap penduduk berusia 15 tahun ke atas yang tinggal di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dilakukan pada bulan November hingga Desember 2021 dengan menggunakan kuesioner online. Survei dilakukan melalui WhatsApp dengan menyebarkan tautan kuesioner. Pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan software SPSS v.16.0. Perbedaan pola gizi seimbang sebelum dan selama era New Normal dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. HASIL : Kajian menunjukkan bahwa pola konsumsi masyarakat menurun secara signifikan selama penerapan konsep New Normal, terutama komposisi makanan (p=0,000), makanan hewani (p=0,000), sayuran (p=0,000), buah (p=0,000), dan susu (p=0,000). KESIMPULAN : Penerapan perilaku New Normal menurunkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengkonsumsi gizi seimbang di Sulawesi Selatan. Dengan demikian mungkin berkontribusi pada penurunan sistem kekebalan tubuh.

Stunting in Indonesia is a very serious problem because the percentage is above form cut off point of World Health Organization is only 20%. The results of South East Asia Nutritions Surveys (SEANUTS), around 24.1% of boys and 24.3% of girls in Indonesia are stunted. Based on Basic Health Research (2018), the incidence of stunting among children under five in South Sulawesi is still high, which is above 30% and South Sulawesi is the fourth highest in Indonesia. One of the preventive efforts to reduce stunting from an early age by nutrition health education through developing an electronic module about stunting as a method of nutrition health education which contains information about stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nutrion health education on students' knowledge and attitudes through the development of the E-Module "Against Stunting" at SMU Negeri 1 Makassar City. The research method used is a Quasi Experiment, with a total sample of 64 students based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and then divided into the intervention group and the control group. Before the intervention, a pre-test was carried out on the two groups, then students in the intervention group were given nutrition education through an e-module containing knowledge about stunting, its causes and prevention continuously every week and at the end, a post test was carried out on the intervention group and the control group. The data collected were analyzed using the Man Whitney test. The results showed that there was an effect of nutrition heath education on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of students at SMU Negeri 1 Makassar City.

Latar Belakang. Faktor asupan zat gizi, zat gizi makro, zat gizi mikro, dan kejadian infeksi merupakan faktor langsung yang dapat menyebabkan kejadian stunting pada balita. Sumber nutrisi yang memenuhi persyaratan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dapat digunakan untuk memperbaiki asupan. Pola pemberian makan pada anak memerlukan cara tertentu agar menarik dan mudah dicerna. Formula polimerik merupakan makanan mudah dicerna, siap saji, dan siap olah. Formula polimerik dengan komposisi makronutrien seperti protein, karbohidrat, lipid dalam bentuk utuh, vitamin lengkap, dan mineral telah dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini. Formula polimerik yang dikembangkan memiliki densitas energi tinggi yaitu 1,5–2 Kkal/mL. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan zink, zat besi, dan kalsium sebagai sumber mineral yang potensial dalam mendukung pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting pada balita. Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan one shot case study design sebagai pre experimental design. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama empat bulan. Analisis kandungan zink, zat besi, dan kalsium menggunakan metode 18–13–1/MU/SMM–SIG (ICP OES):18–13–1/MU/SMM-SIG (ICP OES) dan 18–13–1/MU/SMM-SIG (ICP OES) pada PT Saraswanti Indo Genetech (PT SIG) Laboratory, Bogor, Jawa Barat untuk empat formulasi formula polimerik. Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kadar zink tertinggi 3,05 mg memenuhi 100 persen angka kecukupan gizi (AKG) kebutuhan balita. Pada anak usia 4–6 tahun, kandungan zat besi tertinggi 6,66 mg memenuhi 66,6 persen AKG dan kandungan kalsium tertinggi 308,36 memenuhi 30,8 persen AKG balita. Kesimpulan. Formula polimerik mengandung zink, zat besi, dan kalsium yang bervariasi pada keempat formulasi. Formula polimerik yang direkomendasikan untuk pencegahan stunting adalah formula tiga dengan kandungan zink dan kalsium tertinggi serta zat besi.

BACKGROUND: Based on the results of laboratory examinations, initial samples taken from one of the clean water sources (dug wells) in Biringere Village, North Sinjai District, results showed that the water sample contained high enough metal ions such as Fe, Mn, hardness, and organic substances which did not meet the requirements as clean water because it still contained levels of Manganese (Mn) 1.68 mg/l. Meanwhile, for organic substances (KMnO4), it is 9876 mg/l. AIM: The purpose of the research was to determine the effectiveness of multimedia filters in improving quality of clean water from the parameters of Mn and KMnO4 in clean water sources (dug wells).. METHODS: The type of research conducted is quasi-experimental by made a filtering processing method with a “Up Flow” flow system, using media consisting of silica sand, zeolite, resin (pine resin), and active carbon in PVC tubes. The population in this study were all dug wells in North Sinjai district. The samples were dug wells located on Biringere Village, North Sinjai District. The samples examined in Center for Environmental Health and disease control of Makassar. RESULTS: The results obtained were that there was a significant change in manganese (Mn) levels of 0.49 mg/l (80.37%). Meanwhile, organic substances (MnO4) amounted to 17.38 mg/l (70.02%). CONCLUSION: Decreasing levels of manganese (Mn) in well water after going through the multimedia filter process above show that the manganese content has met the standard requirements of the Minister of Health Regulation No. 32 of 2017.

BACKGROUND: The conducive factor of stunting is the deficiency in nutrient intake due to the lack of quantity and quality of food consumed by the children. Children’s food consumption is strongly influenced by the mother’s nutritional knowledge and children’s feeding practices. AIM: The aims of this study were to determine the effect of providing local snacks in South Sulawesi with a substitute of snakehead fish flour (Tibus) and virtual nutrition counseling on the growth of stunting children. METHODS: The design of this study used a randomized pretest-posttest control design. The sample was divided in two groups using systematic random sampling. The first group was given local Tibus snacks and nutritional counseling virtually and the second group was only given virtual nutrition counseling. The intervention was carried out every day until 1 month. The sample of this research was mothers who have stunting children under five of age. RESULTS: Nutrition knowledge of mothers in group one increased significantly before and after intervention (63.78 ± 1.68 vs. 73.70 ±1.35 points), but this was not the case in group two. The increase in maternal nutritional knowledge was higher in group one than in group two, although it was not significant (p = 0.91). The comparison of the weight gain of children in group one versus group two was 0.37 ± 0.49 kg versus 0.07 ± 0.39 kg (p = 0.021). The increase in the height of the children in group one before and after was 84.15 ± 7.79 cm versus 85.97 ± 7.95 cm (p = 0.000). The ratio of the increase in the height of the children in group one and group two was 1.82 ± 0.94 cm versus 1.53 ± 0.68 cm (p = 0.402). CONCLUSIONS: Nutrition counseling virtual can increase nutrition knowledge. The providing of local snacks (Tibus) accompanied by virtual nutrition counseling can increase growth in body length and weight of stunting children. The efforts to accelerate prevention stunting in children under five can be done with utilization of local snacks.

The problem of diabetes mellitus (DM) needs to get more serious attention because it is the number third killer disease in Indonesia. Barley and brown rice as substitutes for wheat flour in the manufacture of dry noodles are an effort to reduce the glycemic index (GI) and increase the fiber content in noodles. The purpose of this study was to determine the GI value, fiber content and acceptability of noodles substituted with barley flour and brown rice. This research is an experimental research type. The glikemik Indek (GI) test is calculated by comparing the area of the glucose response curve for the test food and the standard food. The results of the organoleptic test on acceptability were tabulated in the table and analyzed using the SPSS computer program, namely the Kruskal-Wallis test with the Mann-Whitney follow-up test and the fiber content test using the crude fiber method. The results of the acceptability test of millet noodles and brown rice from the best taste aspect were F2, F1 texture aspect, F1 color aspect and F1 aroma aspect. The highest total score for the panelists' acceptance test was F1 with a score of 414 points. Formula F1 was used in the test of GI value and fiber content. The GI of the noodles substituted with barley flour and brown rice is 67 (medium) and the fiber content is 16,355 g/100 g. The acceptability of the aspects of taste, texture, color and aroma was highest at the concentration of F1 20% barley flour, 5% rice flour and 75% wheat flour, noodles substituted with barley flour and brown rice with a medium GI value (67) and fiber content of 16.355 g/100 g. Keywords : Brown Rice, Glycemic Index, Barley, Noodles, Fiber ABSTRAK Masalah penyakit diabettes melitus (DM) perlu mendapatkan perhatian lebih serius karena penyakit pembunuh nomor ketiga di Indonesia. Jewawut dan beras merah sebagai pensubstitusi tepung terigu dalam proses pembuatan mi kering. Hal ini menjadi salah satu upaya dalam menurunan nilai indeks glikemik (IG) dan menigkatkan kandungan serat yang terdapat di dalam mi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai IG, kadar serat dan daya terima mi subtitusi tepung jewawut dan beras merah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimental. Uji Indek glikemik (IG) dihitung dengan membandingkan luas kurva respon glukosa pangan uji dan pangan standar. Hasil uji organoleptik terhadap daya terima ditabulasi dalam tabel dan dianalisis menggunakan program komputer SPSS yaitu uji Kruskal-wallis dengan uji lanjutan Mann-Whitney serta untuk uji kadar serat dianalisis menggunakan metode crude fiber. Hasil uji daya terima mi jewawut dan beras merah dari aspek rasa yang terbaik adalah F2, aspek tekstur F1, aspek warna F1 dan aspek aroma F1. Total skoring tertinggi uji daya terima panelis adalah F1 dengan nilai skor 414 poin. Formula F1 digunakan dalam uji nilai IG dan kadar serat. IG mi subtitusi tepung jewawut dan beras merah adalah 67 (sedang) dan kadar serat 16,355 g/100 g. Daya terima aspek rasa, tekstur, warna dan aroma tertinggi pada konsentrasi F1 20% tepung jewawut, 5% tepung beras dan 75% tepung terigu, mi subtitusi tepung jewawut dan beras merah dengan nilai IG kategori sedang (67) dan kadar serat 16,355 g/100 g.Kata kunci : Beras Merah, Indeks Glikemik, Jewawut, Mi, Serat

Anemia is one of the major nutritional problems in Asia, including Indonesia. According to Rikesdas 2018 data, anemia in young women (27.2%) is higher than in young men (20.3%). The utilization that can overcome anemia is that local shellfish contain protein, one of which can overcome anemia, while red beans contain protein and iron which can increase hemoglobin (Hb) levels in the body of young women. This study aims to determine the results of organoleptic tests and the content of protein and iron in bakpao substitution of local clam flour with red bean paste filling for anemia sufferers in young women. This research was carried out at the Department of Nutrition, Poltekkes, Ministry of Health, Makassar on March 23-31, 2022. The method in this study is Pre-Experiment with a Post Test Group Design research design. The panelists for the hendonic test were 35 panelists of poltekkes students of the Ministry of Health Makassar, for the protein and iron analysis test carried out in the Quality Control laboratory of SMK SMTI Makassar.The results showed that based on the Kruskall Wallis test there was no difference in the aspects of aroma (p = 0.64) and texture (p = 0.131), while for the aspects of color and taste there was a difference between F1, F2 and F3. The protein content in F1 products is (538.5%), while the iron content in F1 products is (111.8 ppm). It is necessary to conduct further studies on the use of steamed bun products to overcome anemia in young women by using other flours and other fillings that contain high levels of protein and iron.Keywords : Steamed Buns, Local Shellfish, Kidney Beans, Anemia, Protein and Iron.ABSTRAKAnemia merupakan salah satu masalah gizi utama di Asia, termasuk Indonesia. Adapun pemanfaatan yang dapat mengatasi anemia yaitu kerang lokal mengandung protein yang salah satunya dapat mengatasi anemia, sedangkan kacang merah mengandung protein dan zat besi yang dapat meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) pada tubuh remaja putri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji organoleptik dan kandungan protein dan zat besi pada bakpao substitusi tepung kerang lokal dengan isian pasta kacang merah bagi penderita anemia pada remaja putri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jurusan Gizi Poltekkes Kemenkes Makassar pada tanggal 23 – 31 Maret 2022. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Pra Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Post Test Group Design. Adapun panelis untuk uji hendonik sebanyak 35 panelis mahasiswa Poltekkes Kemenkes Makassar, untuk uji analisis protein dan zat besi dilaksanakan di laboratorium Quality Control SMK SMTI Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan uji Kruskall Wallis tidak ada perbedaan terhadap aspek aroma (p=0,64) dan tekstur (p=0,131), sedangkan untuk aspek warna dan rasa ada perbedaan antara F1, F2 dan F3. Untuk kandungan protein pada produk F1 sebesar (538,5%), sedangkan kandungan zat besi pada produk F1 sebesar (111,8 ppm). Perlu dilakukan studi lanjut mengenai pemanfaatan produk bakpao untuk mengatasi anemia pada remaja putri dengan menggunakan tepung lain dan isian lain yang mengandung tinggi kadar protein dan zat besi.Kata Kunci : Bakpao, Kerang Lokal, Kacang Merah, Anemia, Protein dan Zat Besi.

Masalah stunting merupakan salah satu tantangan dalam pembangunan manusia di Indonesia. Prevalensi stunting selama 10 tahun terakhir berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data secara nasional menunjukkan tidak terjadi perubahan yang signifikan dan hal ini mendeskripsikan bahwa stunting memerlukan penanganan secara cepat dan terintegrasi. Dalam rangka percepatan penurunan prevalensi stunting, Presiden Repubik Indonesia telah mencanangkan target penurunan stunting menjadi 14% pada tahun 2024. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan pengetahuan calon pasangan usia subur sebagai implementasi model komunikasi perubahan perilaku dengan pemanfaatan E-Modul sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan stunting. Kegiatan ini dilakukan diawali dengan melakukan assessment berupa pengukuran antropometri kepada calon pasangan usia subur. Kemudian hasil tersebut akan menjadi informasi awal dalam pemberian edukasi tentang stunting. Sebelum dan setelah dilakukan pemberian informasi/edukasi pada calon pasangan usia subur dilakukan pre test dan post test untuk mengukur sejauh mana informasi tentang stunting telah dipahami oleh sasaran kegiatan pengabdian. Setelah itu dilakukan pemberian edukasi mulai dari definisi stunting, penyebab stunting dan pencegahan stunting. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa assessment status gizi calon pasangan usia subur terdapat 7 orang calon pasangan usia subur yang mengalami kurang energi kronik (KEK), pengetahuan tentang stunting setelah dilakukan pre test dan post test meningkat dari 20% menjadi 85%. Peningkatan pengetahuan yang terjadi dalam pemberian edukasi karena calon pasangan usia subur memiliki ketertarikan dengan informasi yang diberikan dan akan menjadi bekal memasuki kehidupan rumah tangga sebelum memasuki 1000 HPK.

Mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta L) is widely available and contains nutrients. This fish has potential forprevention malnutrition problems in Indonesia, especially in South Sulawesi Province, but their utilization isnot optimal. The aims of this study was to determine nutrient content and acceptability biscuits subtitutes fromflour of mackerel fish. The design of this study was experimental by making biscuits through substitution withmackerel fish flour and divided into four concentration formulas, F0 = 0%, F1 = 5%, F2 = 10%, F3 = 15%.Each biscuit was subjected to a acceptability test using the organoleptic test method using hedonic scale.Analysis of protein content using the Kjehdal method, fat content using the shoxlet method, carbohydratescontent using the Luff Chroll method and minerals content using with AAS. The results of this study thatsubstitution of mackerel flour reduced the acceptance of biscuits, although the decrease was not significantin terms of color (p = 0.061) and texture (p = 0.356). A significant decrease in the acceptability score wasseen in the aroma aspect (p = 0.000) and the taste aspect (p = 0.000). F1 biscuits are the best formula, havinga carbohydrate content of 62.49%, 18.35% fat, 10.72% protein, 10.83 mg/L zinc and 230.95 mg/L iron. Thesubstitution of mackerel flour does not affect for acceptability of the color and texture aspects, but affectsfor aroma and taste, especially if the concentration of the addition is too high. Protein, iron, and zinc levelsincreased in the biscuits formula that was substituted for mackerel fish meal.

Low fish consumption in some parts of Indonesia is caused by the high price of several types of fish. Its include types of fish that have a low social value in the community so it is less desirable although their value of nutrients is very good. Anchovy is actually the best source of calcium and protein. Calcium in white anchovy (Stolephorus sp) is very stable resistant and not easily soluble in water. White anchovies (Stolephorus sp) are excellent as a source of calcium and protein in children who are in their infancy, expectant mothers, nursing mothers and adult women to prevent osteoporosis. When the production volume of white anchovy (Stolephorus sp) is increased, making fish flour is a preservation method, It will make the benefits of anchovy can be maximised. White anchovy flour quality can be measured by proximate characteristics and nutritional quality. Proximate parameters in this study are determination of water content, ash content, peroxide numbers, acid numbers, and saponification numbers. Nutritional quality analysis such as carbohydrates, protein, fat, calcium, iron, fiber, zinc, DHA, EPA and trans fat. The characteristics of the proximate are good and meet the quality standards of a food product from fresh anchovy (Stolephorus sp) such as fiber content, ash content, number of peroxide and trans fatty acids. The best nutritional quality of fresh anchovy (Stolephorus sp) are the content of protein, calcium, iron ,zinc, DHA and EPA.

The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is still high at 30,8%. Low protein intake is one of the causes of stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional analysis and organoleptic quality in cork fish sausages. This study used a completely randomized design with 3 repetitions. Nutrient analysis was obtained from the Luff schroll test for carbohydrates, fat test with shoxlet and protein test with micro kjedhall. Organoleptic quality with acceptance of taste, texture, color and aroma by descriptive. Research results with univariate analisis were the highest nutrient content of protein and carbohydrate in formula F1 (100%) is protein (16.71%) and carbohydrate (20.14%) and the highest fat content in formula F3 (60%) is as much as (18.52%). The most preferred organoleptic quality for aroma and taste is in formula F1 (100%), texture is in formula F2(80%) and the most preferred color is in formula F3 (60%). The recommendation for prevent stunting can be used F1 formula.

Background : Complementary feeding is a solid and nutrient dense foods with complete contain given to infants from 6 months of age after exclusively breastfed to achieve optimal growth and development. Complementary feeding is given from 6-24 months and must be done completely in accordance with the abilities of the baby and child. Providing sufficient Complementary feeding in terms of quality and importance for physical growth and increased intelligence increases during this period. Objectives : The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge levels, mother's attitudes, family support with accordance of complementary feeding. Methods : This research was conducted in the working area of Kampili Health Center Kabupaten Gowa. The type of research was analytical research using a cross-sectional approach. sample techniques using purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 70 mothers who have toddlers aged 6-24 months. Results : Based on the research results by using chi-square test with significance level α = 0.05. The statistical test results obtained a level of knowledge p = 0.023, maternal attitudes p = 0.017, family support p = 0.027 with the accordance of complementary feeding. Conclusions : The conclusion was that there was a correlation between the level of knowledge, mother's attitude and family support with the accordance of complementary feeding assistance in the work area of the Kampili Gowa Health Center. It is expected to provide exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months to infants and provide complementary feeding for breastfeeding at the age of 6 months and above and for health workers to improve communication, information and education (IEC) programs, especially for pregnant women and those with babies. Latar Belakang : Makanan pendamping ASI merupakan makanan padat dengan kandungan gizi yang lengkap diberikan kepada bayi sejak usia 6 bulan setelah pemberian ASI eksklusif untuk mencapai pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang optimal. Makanan pendamping ASI diberikan mulai usia 6-24 bulan dan harus diberikan secara lengkap sesuai dengan kemampuan bayi dan anak. Pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI dengan kualitas yang baik sangat penting untuk menunjang pertumbuhan fisik dan peningkatan kecerdasan yang meningkat selama periode ini. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan, sikap Ibu, dukungan keluarga dengan ketepatan pemberian MP-ASI. Metode : Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kampili Gowa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah study analitik dengan pendekatan cros-secsional. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 70 orang ibu yang memiliki balita umur 6-24 bulan. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan mengunakan uji chi-square dengan tingkat kemaknaan α = 0,05%.Hasil uji statistik diperoleh tingkat pengetahuan nilai p = 0,023, sikap ibu p = 0,017, dukungan keluarga p = 0,027 dengan ketepatan pemberian MP-ASI. Kesimpulan : Ada hubugan tingkat pengetahuan, sikap ibu dan dukungan keluarga dengan ketepatan pemberian MP-ASI di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kampili Gowa. Diharapkan memberikan ASI ekslusif selama 6 bulan kepada bayi dan memberikan makanan pendamping ASI saat usia 6 bulan keatas dan kepada petugas kesehatan agar untuk lebih mengintensifkan kegiatan sosialisasi, informasi dan edukasi khususnya pada ibu-ibu hamil maupun ibu balita

Background : Malnutrition problem is still the top priority in Indonesia and one of focuses in the Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) for 2020-2024. Riskesdas 2018, show the percentage of nutritional status of stunting under five age in Indonesia 2018 was 25.7%, in West Sulawesi Province was the second highest contributor for stunting children in Indonesia with prevalence 41.8%. One of the preventive efforts that can be done is through the development of food products. In this study, the development of white bread with the substitution of Channa Striata fish flour was expected to enrich the nutritional content of bread, especially protein. In this study, using Channa Striata fish because it has a higher protein content than other foodstuffs known as sources of protein such as eggs, chicken and beef. Apart from protein, Channa Striata fish also has a high albumin content which can be used in wound healing. This aims of this study to determine the protein content of white bread with the substitution of Channa Striata fish meal by 5% and 10% Methods : This type of research is an experimental study to determine the protein content in white bread with the substitution of Channa Striata fish meal by 5% and 10%. The analytical method used to assess protein content is the kjeidhal method, which is a simple method for determining total nitrogen in amino acids, proteins, and nitrogen-containing compounds. The test was carried out at Health Laboratory South Sulawesi. Results : The results showed that the protein content of white bread with a substitution of 5% was 9.03 grams, and a substitution of 10% was 10.38 grams. Conclusion : The conclusion of this study was even more substitution of Channa Striata fish flour used, will increase protein content in the white bread.

Pregnancy is a natural process that after conception and physical and biochemical changes that result in increased nutritional needs. To undergo a normal pregnancy process requires more nutritional intake than before pregnancy. This addition is 285 kcalories for energy and 12 grams of protein every day. This form of addition can be a full meal or snack with energy nutritional value of 180-300 calories and 12 grams of protein per day. The impact of nutritional problems during this period is permanent (irreparably perfect) and long-term and consequences including future human qualities such as cognitive impairment (lack of intelligence) are less productive and fail to compete in the global era. The cause of nutritional problems is a direct factor of inadequate intake and infectious diseases that mutually interact and reinforce each other. Indirect factors include parenting, access to health care facilities and access to family food that is influenced by socioeconomic, technology, education. This research is quasi experiment with pretest posttest design approach. Samples were taken randomly to pregnant women in the second quarter and 30 samples were obtained. Treatment with purple sweet potato snack and fish meal for 30 days. The aim of this research is to know the effect of sweet potato snack and gabus fish flour. Before and after treatment will be measured body weight, LILA, hemoglobin and albumin levels. Analyze the nutritional value of the product manually by means of DKBM (List of Food Composition). Data analysis is done descriptively and analytically. The results showed a significant increase in body weight of the sample with p 0,000. For LILA, Hemoglobin and Albumin there was a significant decrease (each p value was LILA p = 0.001, Hemoglobin p = 0.000 and Albumin p = 0,000) but still within normal limits. Snacking has not been able to increase these three variables. The weakness of this study is not using control samples. It is recommended for pregnant women to increase daily food consumption. Consumption of protein with good quality comes from animals such as cork fish with various preparations. For further research use control sample.

Konsumsi sayur dan buah pada remaja sangat penting dimana mengandung zat gizi salah satunya serat. Serat dapat mengatasi kejadian obesitas pada remaja selain itu sayur dan buah juga kaya akan vitamin dan mineral yang berperan dalam sistem metabolisme dalam tubuh termasuk metabolisme energi. Tujuan Penelitian : mengetahui hubungan konsumsi sayur dan buah dengan kejadian obesitas remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Mamuju Tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian : bersifat analitik untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel secara observasional. Sampel sebanyak 280 orang dengan metode sampling yaitu sistematic random sampling. Hasil penelitian : Konsumsi sayur kategori cukup sebanyak 114 orang (40.7%) dan konsumsi sayur yang kurang yaitu 166 orang (59.3%). Uji chi-square diperoleh nilai p > 0.05. konsumsi buah cukup sebanyak 92 orang (32.9%) dan konsumsi buah kurang yaitu 188 orang (67.1%). Uji chi-square diperoleh nilai p > 0.05. Kesimpulan : tidak ada hubungan konsumsi sayur dan buah dengan kejadian obesitas pada remaja. Saran : perlunya pemberian informasi mengenai pentingnya konsumsi sayur dan buah, Bagi remaja yang mengalami obesitas agar menurunkan berat badan sehingga mencapai berat badan ideal dan untuk penelitian selanjutnya, agar menambahkan variabel yang terkait dengan kejadian obesitas. Fiber can overcome the incidence of obesity in adolescents other than that vegetables and fruits are also rich in vitamins and minerals that play a role in the metabolic system in the body including energy metabolism. Research Objectives: to know the relationship between vegetable and fruit consumption with the incidence of adolescent obesity in SMA Negeri 1 Mamuju Year 2016. Type of research: analytic to determine the relationship between two variables observational. A sample of 280 people with sampling method that is systematic random sampling. Result of research: Consumption of vegetable category enough 114 people (40.7%) and consumption of vegetables is less that is 166 people (59.3%). Chi-square test obtained p value> 0.05. Consumption of fruit is quite as much 92 people (32.9%) and fruit consumption is less that is 188 people (67.1%). Chi-square test obtained p value> 0.05. Conclusion: there is no relationship of consumption of vegetables and fruits with the incidence of obesity in adolescents. Efforts to empower communities in community-based total sanitation program through health education methods play an important role in program effectiveness. This study aims to determine the effect of health education by using lecture and discussion methods towards knowledge, attitude and action changes of the community in East Tande Sub-district and Adolang Dhua Village, Majene District. This study is a quantitative research through experimental approach with design non-equivalent control group with pre-test-post-test which is conducted from September-October 2016. Method of determining samples in this study using purposive technique so that obtained 66 people consist of 2 groups, the group with discussion method treatment in Tande Sub-District, and the group with lecture method treatment in Adolang Dhua Village. Data collection conducted by giving pre-test questionnaire, and then gave them intervention, and end up by giving the post-test questionnaire to the respondents. Data were analyzed using paired t-test, wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney test. Independent variables in this study are health education by using lecture method and group discussion method while the dependent variables are knowledge, attitude and action. The results showed that the knowledge variable infuenced by lecture method but not infuenced by group discussion method, while the attitude variable is not infuenced by lecture and group discussion methods. For the third variable, the action variable is not infuenced by the lecture method but infuenced by the group discussion method. Meanwhile, the lecture method is more effective in changing respondent knowledge, attitude and action in the effort to empower communities to obtain STBM facilities.

Stunting is a major public health problem in most developing countries and part of the risk factors toward the high incidence of diseases both directly and indirectly. In Indonesia, stunting is a national problem with the percentage of incidence above the tolerance limit set by the World Health Organization (WHO) which is < 20% (WHO, 2010). The results of Basic Health Research (2013) stated that stunting in children under fve in Indonesia in 2010 amounted to 41.6% increased to 47.9% in 2013 and for Mamuju Regency in West Sulawesi the percentage of stunting was 47.26%. There are several factors that infuence the incidence of stunting, including maternal education and parental income. The level of maternal education and low parental income will result in family limitations in providing nutritional needs both in quality and quantity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of maternal education and parental income with the incidence of stunting. This study was a cross sectional study conducted at SDN Salulayang Mamuju District with a sample of all 90 students. Variables were measuring through direct interviews and questionnaires methods. The results showed that the variables of maternal education levels were signifcantly associated with the incidence of stunting (p = 0.005), as well as parental income signifcantly associated with the incidence of stunting (p = 0.006). It is necessary to increase knowledge about nutrition, especially about stunting with the aim of prevention and the need for economic improvement through community empowerment so that there is no stunting problem caused by poverty.

The incidence of dengue fever in Indonesia is higher that needs precautions and control. Apllicationlarvicides synthetic in the long term could be expected to cause resistance. It required an effort of larvicides alternative, one of them is with natural larvicides derived from plants to toxic insects but harmless to humans and the environment. The objective of this study is to determine effectiveness of roots, stems, leaves and flowerstembelekan (Lantana camaralinn) solutionto against Aedesaegypti larvae mortality in Mamuju. We did experimental studies to test the effectiveness of roots, stems, leaves and flowers of plants tembelekan (Lantana Camara Linn)solution which will be drops inAedesaegypti larvae. This research was conducted at Mamuju Health Polytechnic Laboratory in April-October 2016. Object of this study is Aedesaegypti larvae to be tested with roots, stems, leaves and flowers of tembelekan (Lantana Camara Linn)solution mixed with water. The results showed that tembelekan plant parts effective to make larvae death are tembelekan roots on 20%-50% concentration, tembelekan stems on 40%-50% concentration, and tembelekan leaves on 10&-50% concentration. While tembelekan flowers ineffective to make larvae death.

Moringa leaf, a multi nutrient plant, in West Sulawesi has not been maximally utilized as a nutrientsource. Moringaleaves are useful as a family nutrient source to overcome micronutrient problem.
