This paper describes the idea and attempts to design virtual reality glasses to improve the quality of life of people during a COVID-19 pandemic, when isolation is an inseparable element of lifestyle. Commonly used communicators are becoming insufficient. The objective of the study is to investigate how engineer create objects, applications, places that will bring everyday life closer and feel the lack of closeness to another person as little as possible. Observation on engineer developing product through design protocol analysis has been used as a methodology. Moreover, the five stages of Design Thinking model proposed by Hasso-Plattner Institute of Design, Stanford (d.school) has been used as references. During the observation, the ongoing technological challenge for engineer is to look for a solution/idea that will cause an even deeper immersion into the reality of virtual human relationship, which will be resemble a real meeting. The results indicate people to make proxy communication, find solutions based upon a problem-solving strategy that will help people not to feel lonely during the COVID-19 pandemic, focus on something what can will let people be closer and let people have fun during pandemic. For last days and months, we all observe how every country in the world, high developed or not, has turned into a quarantine area. Due to restrictions regarding virus Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), introduced by the governments of most countries in the world, economic and entertainment activities have become closed, including pubs, restaurants, city malls, coffee-shops, gyms etc. for people's own safety. In the hardest moments of the pandemic, people cannot meet or spend time together which is not a natural way of behave for this species. Permanent pandemic reality can be a reason for charmful changes in world's economy but also in human's psyche. That is why we, as authors of this article, think we should focus more on Holoportation technology. We have interviewed 2 subjects in order to gain feedback with regard to the use of Holoportation glasses in daily life. We are willing to know what tested a group of people think about trying holoportation technology and how enthusiastically want or do not want to buy this product. The results suggest that Holoportation glasses can have a positive impact on interpersonal relationships, are simple to use and comfortable to wear, are relatively expensive, and the system itself needs a very strong and fast Internet connection. The purpose of this paper is to identify the suitable design to develop a prototype of keyless anti-theft bicycle lock system. Student bicycle commuters are not satisfied with the present selection of bicycle locks accessible. Many express that locking their bicycle isn't a simple procedure. User contemplates showed that u-locks are seen to be the strongest and rent powerless to breaking; anyway they are inconvenient and badly designed to utilize. Cable locks are light weight; however, they are can get effortlessly cut. Different methods are costly and require significant modifications to the bicycle. These regular locks are not by any means effective in theft anticipation and this is an outstanding issue. Treated water is an improved water quality and very essential for aquaculture or for domestic usage at remote area. One of the process to treat water is by filtration. A solar powered water treatment device (SWAD) prototype was built to cater this demand. SWAD is basically a floating water filter which operates in a self-sustainable way on calm water body such as lake or pond. Solar panel is used to generates electricity to power the pumps to suck water into the filter. This paper discusses the filtering performance of the prototype by taking UNITEN Lake as the venue for the test. The tests show significant results on the activated carbon filter where the contaminants are removed effectively. The activated carbon is able to filter water in an effective and efficient way. Solar powered water treatment device is basically a floating water filter which operates in a self-sustainable way on calm water body such as lake. The objective of building a prototype solar powered water treatment device (SWAD) is to have an independent power supply without relying from the grid to run the water treatment process through filtration. The project undergoes preliminary design, CAD drawings with simulation, prototype fabrication and prototype testing. By utilizing CAD simulation, through analysis has been done to determine the suitable size and the type of material for the device structure. The criteria of the structure must be light weight, sturdy and not reactive to water. The structure needs to withstand the total weight of the prototype plus it can float at the water surface. Water is the most essential element for life, there are still some remote areas in Malaysia where clean freshwater is not accessible, this problem had troubled the locals for decades. Solar powered water treatment device is basically a floating water filter which operates in a self-sustainable way on calm water body such as lake. The pumps used for the device will obtain the energy from the solar panel to pump water into the filter. For this project, the device is being tested at the UNITEN lake. The main objective of development solar powered treatment device prototyope (SWAD) is to improve the water quality by selecting a suitable water filter while the device is supported by a stable structure. The project undergoes preliminary design, CAD drawings with simulation, prototype fabrication and prototype testing. The structure of the device is made of combination aluminium which is light weight, sturdy and not reactive to water.
