In the last few years, we have witnessed a significant growth of "low-code development platforms" (LCDPs) in attracting the attention of both the market and the academia. LCDPs are visual development platforms that typically run on the cloud, reducing the need for manual coding. They are also used by non-professional developers with limited knowledge in programming to construct applications. In this paper, the characteristics of well-known LCDPs are first studied to evaluate the advantages of this approach. Given that the low-code platforms have many goals and features in common with the model-driven engineering (MDE) approaches, it is necessary to examine the position of these platforms in comparison with the MDE approaches and identify the strengths and weaknesses of both. One of the reasons for the popularity of the LCDP platforms is the use of cloud computing, which most model-driven engineering approaches have failed to achieve. Therefore, in this article, we review the solutions for using cloud computing in MDE to apply these approaches to develop low-code platforms and apply the approach on a modeling language for smart contracts.

Introduction: Indexing is a new way of organizing information which due to the spread of information and the ducts need to increase the speed and accuracy of produced information is important. The present study aimed to investigate the familiarity and use of indexes in the end of the book between academic members of Isfahan city based on Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT). Methods: This study was conducted through a descriptive survey design. Study population included 1727 academic members of governmental universities in Isfahan. Sample size was calculated based on Cochran formula as 176 subjects. With respect to questionnaire return drop, the questionnaires were sent 300 subjects who returned 191 questionnaires. Questionnaire validity was confirmed by 10 experts in knowledge and informatics science, informatics and communications and sociology. Its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha=97.6. The data were analyzed by descriptive (frequency, percent and mean) and inferential (Spearman correlation Coefficient) statistical tests. Results: The findings showed that familiarity and use of academic members in Isfahan with indexes in the end of the book was lower than average (2.37). Most familiarity was through university and the use of books in Persian and Latin icons in the second priority. Results showed no significant difference between mean score of academic members' use of indexes in searching the information in the books, and sociological variables. There was an inverse association between academic members' use of indexes in writing, translating (kind of print) and age (p-value=0.019, r=-0.308). There was an inverse association between academic members' use of indexes generally and years of teaching (p-value=0.023, r=0-.296) Conclusion: Since the main mission of faculty members is teaching and research activities and performance it need understanding research tools, it seems index is the most important. Small knowledge and limited use of index among academic members of governmental universities in Isfahan may get the opportunity to practice deep. Therefore, the scientific community need professionals in this field and this can interfere with the librarians to compensate. This research aimed to determine the status of information resource organization in Iranian digital libraries. The research method was analytical survey. Researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data in order to study the status of research population about information resources organization. In fact, 38 Iranian digital libraries were made research population of this research. Findings showed that studied digital library applications have many capabilities to organize information resources. Some of these capabilities are relation between bibliographic records and related records in documentation format, Using Z39.50 in client side, allows entering group of resources, and so on. Moreover, digital libraries have a lot of chaos in organizing information resources. For instance, digital libraries just fill title, author, subject, publisher, year of publication, author (added entity) in more than 70 percent for Farsi book database. This status is not demonstrated for other databases in digital libraries.

Attribute selection is one of the steps before patent clustering. Various attributes can be used for clustering. In this study, the effect of using citation and citation title words, respectively, in form of bibliographic coupling and citation title words sharing, were measured and compared with each other, as patent attributes. This study was done in an experimental method, on a collection of 717 US Patent cited in the patents belong to 977/774 subclass of US Patent Classification. Fuzzy C-means was used for patent clustering and extended BCubed precision and extended BCubed recall were used as evaluation measure. The results showed that the clustering produced by bibliographic coupling had better performance than clustering used citation title words and existence of cluster structure were in a wider range of exhaustivity than citation title words.

Purpose: We have studied in the present research the citation impact of the papers published in Iranian Farsi scientific-research journals in the three fields of medical sciences, agricultural sciences, and human sciences, which have been indexed in SID citation database. Methodology: This study used citation analysis. The population under study included all papers with two or more citations in Farsi scientific-research journals in the three fields of medical sciences, agricultural sciences, and human sciences which were published during 2002-2007 and indexed in SID citation database. To choose the papers, purposeful sampling was used. The bibliographic information of each paper as well as that of its citations was extracted from SID database. Also, SPSS software was utilized to analyze the data. Findings: Considering the results, citation mean value in the three fields under study was calculated to be 3.08 citations. Additionally, based on the results yielded from inference analyses, there is no significant difference among the three mentioned fields regarding the citation impact. In total, findings of the research showed that the citation rate is very low for the papers published in Iranian Farsi scientific-research journals, such that many of these papers have not received any citation. Therefore, care should be taken when using the citations of these papers in evaluation of the researchers’ scientific impact. Originality/Value: The number of citations received by papers in scientific journals is used as a significant index in evaluating the impact of a country’s publications on scientific community; therefore, the present study makes clear the status of citation impact of the papers published in Iranian Farsi scientific-research journals in the three fields of medical sciences, agricultural sciences, and human sciences.

Purpose: This study was performed to investigate the publication status of Iranian scientific journals with regard to scope, organizational affiliation, scientific level, publication language, electronic publication, and full-text access, either free or paid. Methodology: The evaluative research method has been used in this study. A checklist was employed for collection of data related to scope, organizational affiliation, and scientific level. The samples included journals with scientific-research and scientific-promotional status approved by the National Scientific Journals Supervision Commission (Ministry of Science, Research and Technology) and the National Medical Science Journals Commission (Ministry of Health and Medical Education). Descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data analysis. Findings: As the results show, more than 530 scientific journals are published in Iran, most of which are affiliated with state-run universities and research institutes. Regarding the access status, only about 40% of the journals allow free access to full-text articles via their websites; medical journal had better status in this regard. Originality/Value: Publication of scientific journals is one of the most significant indexes of scientific development. Therefore, quality and quantity of the journals published in a country can be used as an index for assessing the level of scientific activities in a country or a certain community. The present study is the first of its type to investigate the publication status of Iranian scientific journals as well as their electronic publication status and free access to their articles.

Objective: The present study examined and analyzed citation frequency of ISI cited journals in organic chemistry for 2006. Number of citations to each reference within a given text was counted. By employing citation analysis based on frequency, the study posits the possibility of using citation frequency as a significant indicator in citation analysis researches based on citation count. Methodology: A standard citation frequency analysis was used. It is a type of citation analysis focusing on citation frequency which is standard since both articles and citations were drawn from ISI indexed journals. Findings: Findings indicated that out of every 10 citations, 8 in-context citations belong to journals indexed in ISI. The distribution of this frequency is not normal. 3.5% of journals had the highest frequency while 40% had been repeated only once. A significant distinction between citations means and frequencies was discerned.
