This paper examines the effect of job anxiety, self-efficacy, self-control, and self-esteem on job performance in school teachers. Through literature review and analysis, the research highlights the significance of understanding and addressing these variables. The study confirms that job anxiety negatively influences job performance among school teachers. Furthermore, the research reveals the importance of self-efficacy, self-control, and self-esteem in shaping teachers' performance positively. The data collected from 200 school teachers shows distinct patterns in male and female teachers regarding job anxiety and job performance. Male teachers demonstrate higher levels of job anxiety compared to female teachers, while female teachers exhibit higher job performance. Additionally, the study explores the mediating and moderating roles of self-esteem in the relationships between job anxiety, self-efficacy, and job performance.

We combined domestic ground-based and satellite magnetic measurements to create a regional three-dimensional surface Spline (3DSS) gradient model of the main geomagnetic field over the Chinese continent. To improve the precision of the model, we considered the data gap between the ground and satellite data. We compared and analyzed the results of the Taylor polynomial, surface Spline, and CHAOS-6 (the CHAMP, Ørsted and SAC-C model of Earth’s magnetic field) gradient models. Results showed that the gradients in the south−north and east−west directions of the four models were consistent. The 3DSS model was able to express not only gradients at different altitudes, but also average gradients inside the research area. The two Spline models were able to capture more information on gradient anomalies than were the fitted models. Strong local anomalies were observed in northern Xinjiang, Beijing, and the junction area between Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and the total intensity F decreased whereas the altitude increased. The gradient decreased by 21.69% in the south−north direction and increased by 11.78% in the east−west direction. In addition, the altitude gradient turned from negative to positive while the altitude increased. The Spline model and the two fitted models differed mainly in the field sources they expressed and the modeling theory.

Every organization is looking for multidisciplinary employees, and this creates a predicament in people's dialogue about which challenge to prioritize and which undertaking to complete later. Businesses are rational and end result orientated, and those having productivity is influenced through various bodily, monetary, social, religious and mental factors. The Pakistani society is man-oriented society. The current study was conducted to evaluate the effect of job stress (job, role management), work overload, work family conflict, job embeddedness and job satisfaction on job performance of school teachers. This study was a cross sectional study and the data was collected through objective sampling technique from 115 male and 115 female school teachers of district Jhang. Job stress scale, work overload scale, work family conflict scale, job embeddedness scale, job satisfaction scale and job performance scale were used to collect the data. Regression analysis and independent sample t test was used to analyze the results. The results of the current study revealed that job stress (job, role management), work overload and work family conflict have negative effect on job performance, whereas job embeddedness and job satisfaction has positive effect on job performance. Further studies have found that there is significant difference between male and female on the basis of work overload, role management, work family conflict, job satisfaction, job embeddedness and job performance. Moreover the study results found significant difference between married and unmarried school teachers on the basis of work overload, job embeddedness, work family conflict and job satisfaction, but not significant on the basis of job stress (job, role management) and job performance.

Control charts are customarily developed under the assumption of normal quality characteristics to be monitored. However, in many real dataset applications, the normality assumption is not easy to hold. The in-control (IC) robustness of the charting schemes has significant importance for the valid out-of-control (OOC) performance. This article intends to investigate the IC robustness of the unbiased-function-based adaptive cumulative sum (ACUSUM) chart and nonparametric ACUSUM (NPACUSUM) chart against the non-normal process distributions including symmetrical, skewed, and contaminated normal distributions. The OOC run length profiles of the ACUSUM and the proposed NPACUSUM charts for the individual measurements against the non-normal distributions are also a part of this study. The run length profiles of the proposed charting schemes have been computed using the Monte Carlo simulation method. The artificial datasets have been taken from some symmetric and skewed distributions to implement the proposals. Background: The pharmaceutical sector in Pakistan has grown over a period with export potential, however, there are certain barriers in the framework that regulate the growth and export of domestically manufactured pharmaceuticals. The purpose of this study was to highlight the current challenges that hinder the export of pharmaceuticals, especially to the countries with stringent regulatory authorities (SRA), as perceived by the domestic pharmaceutical industry experts, and to highlight the facilitators that may help to resolve the identified challenges. Methods: In a qualitative study, the data were collected from the consented experts from the pharmaceutical industries in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta. Industrial experts with a minimum of 10 years of experience and who were serving at managerial levels or above were recruited through purposive sampling. The semi-structured interviews were conducted for the collection of data from industrial experts. Thematic content analysis was applied to conclude the data. Results: Data analysis generated 4 themes and 16 codes. The export of pharmaceuticals, despite having greater potential was regarded as poor, which was attributed to the following: (a) inadequate industrial research and development, particularly on new molecules (b) non-compliance with the cGMP standards, (c) absence of high-tech equipment, (d) unwillingness of the pharmaceutical companies for bioequivalence studies on their generics, (e) unavailability of locally manufactured active pharmaceutical ingredients, (f) disruption in the supply of imported raw material, (g) poor international market perception about local pharmaceutical products and (h) lack of support from regulatory in process expedition. The respondents also suggested the measures for overcoming the above challenges to boost the export of domestic pharmaceuticals and expand their international market share in countries with SRA. Conclusion: Export from Pakistan to the SRA countries can be enhanced with mandatory bioequivalence studies during generic registration. The rare earth-based perovskite oxides are vastly studied for optoelectronic and photovoltaic applications. Here in this manuscript, the structural, mechanical, thermodynamic, electronic, and optical properties of AcXO3 (X = Al, Ga, In) are addressed by density functional theory (DFT) based WIEN2k code. The optimized parameters are reported from the Birch–Murnaghan equation of states in terms of lattice constant and bulk modulus. The elastic constants C11, C12, and C44 for the cubic phase satisfy the Born–Huang stability conditions. The Poisson and Pugh's ratios discriminate that the Ac(Al/Ga)O3 have brittle and AcInO3 ductile nature. The thermodynamic parameters like melting temperature, Debye temperature, and lattice thermal conductivity have also been explained in terms of elastic constants and moduli. The electronic behavior is explained by the band structures and density of states which is mainly contributed by Ac-d, X-p, and O-p states. The replacement of Al with Ga, and In reduces the bandgap from 4.1 to 2.2 eV. The optical characteristics are studied in terms of dielectric constants, absorption coefficient, reflection, refractive index, optical loss, and their dependent parameters. Combined with the ground, airborne, and CHAMP satellite data, the lithospheric field over Xinjiang and Tibet is modeled through the three-dimensional Surface Spline (3DSS) model, Regional Spherical Harmonic Analysis (RSHA) model, and CHAOS-7.11 model. Then, we compare the results with the original measuring data, NGDC720, LCS-1, and the newest SHA model with the degree to 1000 (SHA1000). Moreover, the error estimation and the geological analysis are carried out, and we investigate the possible correspondence between the lithospheric field and the surface heat flow. The results show that the 3DSS model can better describe the detailed distribution of the lithospheric field after comparing it with other models. Some new features are reflected, particularly in the areas of Southern Xinjiang and Tibet, such as a positive anomaly stripe in the southwest, its neighboring Tashkurgan–Hotan–Cele–Minfeng–Qiemo–Ruoqiang belt, and the middle edge of the Kunlun Mountains. The stripe, in terms of rock composition, has a shallow magnetic field source and is related to magnetic intrusions; the lithospheric field in Tibet is weak. Additionally, when the heat flow distribution is compared to our results, there is a good consistency between a positive stripe of heat flow and a positive stripe of the lithospheric field in southern Tibet. The large heat flow values may be related to the shallow Curie surface, which shows that demagnetization is happening close to the surface. However, more of a ferromagnetic mineral, Titanium magnetite, is found there.

Outlier detection is an important aspect of statistical process monitoring (SPM) because outliers affect the performance of control charts. SPM researchers study the negative impact of outliers on control charts for monitoring location parameters. However, there is little research on outlier detection in multivariate charts for monitoring process dispersion. This study aims to investigate the impact of outliers in multivariate control charts for monitoring covariance matrix of a process, and then to recommend techniques for detecting potential outliers present from Phase I samples. We propose a new multivariate dispersion chart that employs the determinant of logarithm of estimated covariance matrix as the monitoring statistic. Through Monte Carlo simulations, the results show how outliers from the first phase affect the overall performance of multivariate charts. The results also demonstrate that the minimum volume ellipsoid (MVE) estimator is effective in reducing the effect of outliers on the proposed control scheme than the other compared estimators. Bayesian Control charts are emerging as the most efficient statistical tools for monitoring manufacturing processes and providing effective control over process variability. The Bayesian approach is particularly suitable for addressing parametric uncertainty in the manufacturing industry. In this study, we determine the monitoring threshold for the shape parameter of the Inverse Gaussian distribution (IGD) and design different exponentially-weighted-moving-average (EWMA) control charts based on different loss functions (LFs). The impact of hyperparameters is investigated on Bayes estimates (BEs) and posterior risks (PRs). The performance measures such as average run length (ARL), standard deviation of run length (SDRL), and median of run length (MRL) are employed to evaluate the suggested approach. The designed Bayesian charts are evaluated for different settings of smoothing constant of the EWMA chart, different sample sizes, and pre-specified false alarm rates. The simulative study demonstrates the effectiveness of the suggested Bayesian method-based EWMA charts as compared to the conventional classical setup-based EWMA charts. The proposed techniques of EWMA charts are highly efficient in detecting shifts in the shape parameter and outperform their classical counterpart in detecting faults quickly. The proposed technique is also applied to real-data case studies from the aerospace manufacturing industry. The quality characteristic of interest was selected as the monthly industrial production index of aircraft from January 1980 to December 2022. Silver ions (Ag+) are crucial in various fields, but pose environmental and health risks at high concentrations. This study presents a straightforward approach for the ultra-trace detection of Ag+, utilizing a composite of a cytosine-rich oligonucleotide (CRO) and an electrochemically reduced graphene oxide (ERGO). Initially, ERGO was synthesized on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) through the reduction of graphene oxide (GO) via cyclic voltammetry. A methylene blue-tagged CRO (MB-CRO) was then anchored to the ERGO surface through π–π interactions, resulting in the formation of an MB-CRO-modified ERGO electrode (MB-CRO/ERGO-GCE). The interaction with Ag+ ions induced the formation of silver-mediated C-Ag+-C coordination, prompting the MB-CRO to adopt a hairpin structure. This conformational change led to the desorption of the MB-CRO from the ERGO-GCE, causing a variation in the redox current of the methylene blue associated with the MB-CRO. Electrochemical assays revealed that the sensor exhibits extraordinary sensitivity to Ag+ ions, with a linear detection range from 1 femtomolar (fM) to 100 nanomolars (nM) and a detection limit of 0.83 fM. Moreover, the sensor demonstrated high selectivity for Ag+ ions and several other benefits, including stability, reproducibility, and straightforward fabrication and operational procedures. Additionally, real sample analyses were performed using the modified electrode to detect Ag+ in tap and pond water samples, yielding satisfactory recovery rates. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
