Examines the inscriptions in association books, preserved in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library at the Columbia University, attributed to humanist Roger Ascham. Title of the books with the inscriptions; Analysis of the validity of Ascham's signatures.

The article presents the collection of books gathered in India, Tibet and Afghanistan of the Ames Library of South Asia at the University of Minnesota. Most of the titles in the collection has been found to be address in the nineteenth-century India, while others have an influence of the British presence. Titles are written in English with few Western European languages. This also reveals the influence of India in various aspects of their social and political life in the English and British law. Several important publications in the events happened in India has been posted. Among these are the missionary presence in India and various wars it had experienced in its quest for independence.

The article reports that the Eastern Commercial Teachers Association issues a year book of high educational standard. It is published by the Association, 253 Lexington avenue, New York City. The year book of 400 pages contains more than fifty addresses prepared with care. Among the colleges represented with twenty-five addresses are Ohio University, Stanford University, New York University, Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, Rollins College, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Oregon, Temple University, Stephens College, Girard College.
