In this study, Charpy impact test specimens were prepared by cutting Al 7075 alloy according to ASTM-E23 standards. The prepared test specimens were dissolved in a single-phase region for 1 hour at 480°C in vacuum atmosphere and artificially aged at 120°C for 24 hours after quenching. After the first step aging heat treatment applied, the specimens were artificially aged for 5-50 hours at 180°C for the second time. Microstructural characterization and fracture surface analyzes of the specimens were determined using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) device, crystallographic analysis of the precipitated phases were determined using XRD (X-ray diffraction) device. The increase in the amount of ƞı phase (MgZn2) with increasing double aging heat treatment time was effective in increasing the strength. After 10 hours of double aging heat treatment, the impact toughness value is improved by 300% compared to the single aged condition.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of creative drama method on the well-being of university students.Materials and Methods: This study was carried out with 16 students studying at Hacettepe University and taking the Creative Drama course. The sociodemographic information form and the Wellness Star Scale were applied to the students.Results: The average age of 16 students (4 male, 12 female) who participated in this study was 20.87 ± 2.55. While the average median score and interquartile range of the students' well-being were 89.5 and 9.75 before the creative drama education, it was determined as 97 and 9.25 after the education. The difference between the total score of the Wellness Star Scale and the median values of the pre-test and post-test obtained for the meaning of life-goal-oriented, cognitive and emotional sub-scale was statistically significant (p .05). Conclusion: It is thought that the preparation of awareness programs and the provision of creative drama course in these universities, will make a significant contribution to the preparation of students for the future., Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin iyilik hali üzerine yaratıcı drama yönteminin etkisini araştırmaktı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma, Hacettepe Üniversitesi’nde okuyan Yaratıcı Drama dersini alan 16 öğrenci (4 erkek, 12 kadın) ile gerçekleştirildi. Öğrencilere sosyodemografik bilgi formu ve İyilik Hali Yıldızı Ölçeği uygulandı. Bulgular: Çalışmamıza katılan 16 öğrencinin yaş ortalaması 20,87± 2,55 idi. Öğrencilerin iyilik hali ortanca değeri ve çeyrekler arası aralığı yaratıcı drama eğitimi öncesi 89,5 ve 9,75 iken, eğitim sonrası 97 ve 9,25 olarak tespit edildi. İyilik Hali Yıldızı Ölçeği toplam puanı ve yaşamı anlamlandırma- hedef odaklı olma, bilişsel ve duygusal alt boyutları için elde edilen ön test ve son test ortanca değerleri arasındaki farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu (p ,05). Sonuç: Üniversitelerde iyilik halini arttırmak için farkındalık programlarının hazırlanmasının ve bunlarında yaratıcı drama dersi ile verilmesinin öğrencileri geleceğe hazırlamada önemli katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

In this study, impact toughness properties were investigated by adding nickel element to Powder Metallurgy (PM) steels with different carbon ratios. For this purpose, 0.4% - 0.8 - 1.2% by weight natural graphite, 2% nickel and 0.5% zinc stearate as lubricant were added to the pure iron powder, respectively. Impact test samples were produced by shaping the prepared powder mixtures at room temperature and 700 MPa pressing pressure in a single-acting mold. Then, it was sintered at 1200 ºC in a vacuum atmosphere of 5x10-2 Pa for 20 minutes. After the sintering process, impact toughness values were determined by applying the impact test to powder metal steels at different temperatures. Depending on the chemical composition of the alloy, SEM microstructure and fracture surface analyzes were performed and the relationships between macrohardness values and impact toughness were investigated. It has been determined that nickel-rich ferritic solid solution forms in the microstructure of nickel-added PM steels and suppresses the precipitation of pearlite. All samples had very low impact toughness at -20 °C, while the impact test values at +40 °C decreased with increasing carbon content., Bu çalışmada farklı karbon oranlarına sahip Toz Metalurjisi (TM) çeliklere nikel elementi ilave edilerek darbe tokluk özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla saf demir tozuna sırasıyla ağırlıkça % 0,4 - 0,8 - 1,2 oranlarında doğal grafit , % 2 oranında nikel ve yağlayıcı olarak ise % 0,5 çinko stearat ilave edilmiştir. Hazırlanan toz karışımları, oda sıcaklığında ve tek etkili kalıpta 700 MPa presleme basıncında şekillendirilerek darbe test numuneleri üretilmiştir. Ardından 1200 ºC sıcaklıkta 5x10-2 Pa vakum ortamında 20 dk süre sinterlenmiştir. Sinterlenme işlemi sonrasında toz metal çeliklere farklı sıcaklıklarda darbe testi uygulanarak darbe tokluk değerleri belirlenmiştir. Alaşımın kimyasal bileşimine bağlı olarak SEM mikroyapı ve kırık yüzey analizleri yapılarak, makrosertlik değerleri ile darbe toklukları arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Nikel ilaveli TM çeliklerin mikroyapılarında nikelce zengin ferritik katı çözeltinin oluşarak perlit çökelmesini baskıladığı belirlenmiştir. -20 °C’de tüm numuneler çok düşük darbe tokluğuna sahipken, +40 °C’de yapılan darbe testi değerleri artan karbon oranıyla azalmıştır.

Purpose: The aim of our study is to examine the perspectives of occupational therapist in our country on undergraduate education and their views on professional competence. Material and Methods: 30 people who graduated Department of Occupational Therapy were included in the study. In this qualitative research method, a semi-structured interview technique was used. The data obtained from the interviews were analysed by using descriptive and content analysis methods. Results: 73.3% of the participants found professional practice lessons useful in terms of seeing clients, clients’ evaluation and creating an intervention plan. 26.7% of the participants found the professional practice lessons useful in terms of communicating with the client and family. 70% of the participants stated that they used their competencies effectively in business life. Conclusion: We think that receiving feedback about the reflections of undergraduate education in business life will contribute to the development of occupational therapy education. We recommend further studies in this direction., Amaç: Çalışmamızın amacı ülkemizdeki ergoterapistlerin lisans eğitimine bakış açılarını ve mesleki yeterlilik hakkındaki görüşlerini incelemektir. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmaya, ergoterapi bölümü mezunu olan 30 kişi katıldı. Nitel araştırma yönteminin benimsendiği bu çalışmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler, betimsel ve içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bulgular: Katılımcıların %73,3’ü mesleki uygulama derslerini vaka görme, vaka değerlendirme ve müdahale planı oluşturma açılarından yararlı bulmuştur. Katılımcıların %26,7’lik kısmı ise mesleki uygulama derslerini hasta ve aile ile iletişim kurabilme açısından faydalı görmüştür. Katılımcıların %70’i kazandığı yeterlilikleri iş yaşamında etkin bir şekilde kullandığını ifade etmiştir. Sonuç: Lisans eğitiminin iş yaşamındaki yansımaları ile ilgili geri bildirimler alınmasının ergoterapi eğitiminin gelişimine katkı sağlayacağını düşünmekteyiz. Bu yönde ileri çalışmalar yapılmasını önermekteyiz.

Production of High Carbon Powder Metallurgy specimens, ATOMET 1001 pure iron powders produced byatomization method and 1.5% by weight graphite powder as a carbon source were mixed and then pressed in a singleaction press with 700 Mpa pressure. The pressed specimens were then sintered in Ar atmosphere in the atmospherecontrolled furnace to produce high carbon powder metal steel with a rate of 1.5% carbon. Firstly, specimens wereaustenitized at 950 °C for 4 minutes and martempering heat treatment was applied in a neutral salt bath with atemperature of 350 °C - 400 °C for different periods. It was observed that the hardness decreased due to the decrease inmartensitic regions in the microstructure with increasing martempering times.Keywords: Powder Metallurgy Steel, Martempering, Bainite, Martensite.&nbsp

Objectives: The aim of the study is to examine time management and leisure time satisfaction in universitystudents.Materials and Methods: This study was conducted with 325 students. Time Management Inventory and LeisureTime Satisfaction Scale were used to assess students’ time management and leisure activity satisfaction.Students’ time management and leisure time satisfaction were compared according to accommodation, grade,and gender. Mann Whitney U test and Spearman Correlation Coefficient were used in statistical analyses.Results: Time management scores were very moderately high and leisure time satisfaction scores were very highin students. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the exercise adherence of the patients according to recommended home exercice program and to determine which exercises were performed more accurately. Materail and Method: 121 consecutive patients who applied to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of Hacettepe University Hospital due to low back pain and who were recommended home exercise program were included in the study. The flexion and extension exercises were given. On the 10th day following the introduction of the home program, the patients were invited for first control to assess the accuracy of the practice of the exercises. The accuracy of each exercise was analyzed by the physiotherapists (Likert type scoring system from 0 to 4). After 1 month, the patients were called for the second check of the correctness of the application of exercises. The same assessment was repeated. Findings: While the number of patients was 121 at the beginning, the number of patients in the first control decreased to 73, the number of patients in the second control decreased to 21 after 1 month.
